He chuckled. "Yes, but you should get more sleep." He ruffled her hair playfully.

"I do get enough sleep!" Whit huffed, but smiled slightly. "I just get more vivid dreams when I read and stay up later. Besides I got a good seven hours last night!" Whit boasted.

Soon, everyone was in the kitchen searching for food. As usual, Mae waited till everyone else had their own food before searching for herself.

Rachel


Rachel woke up to see herself basically hugging the bed. At first she just stayed there not moving a muscle and regretting on her choice of waking up. After a while she sat up. Rachel got out of bed and stretched. She then went to the nearest sink and brushed her teeth. She then came downstairs and saw basically everyone running around. Rachel walked into the kitchen and saw Quinn looking around for cereal. "Did you look in this one?" Rachel said while pointing at one of them.

"Yes I looked in all of them!" She snapped at Rachel, but quickly regretted this decision,"Sorry, I didn't mean to snap. I just didn't sleep at all last night." She pulled the cabinet Rachel had pointed at open, lo and behold there sat the cereal. "Well, damn. I don't look very well. Thanks." She smiled at the girl and pulled the cereal out of the cabinet.

He sighed. "If you say so." He smiled and shrugged. "You know more than me."

"It's okay," she said while smiling. Rachel then took out some her favorite kind of cereal and put it on the table. She walked back into the kitchen and grabbed some milk out of the fridge. Rachel then asked Quinn "So where are the bowls and spoons again?"

"Third drawer from the bottom.." Ember mutters through a mouthful of cereal. She was just eating the stuff straight out of the box, feeling to lazy to actually get a bowl.

"Quinn, I'm probably going to go shopping today."


Mae said this from the table, still waiting on everyone else to get their breakfast.

"Okay thanks!" Rachel took out a bowl then a spoon. She then headed back to the table and made herself a bowl of milk and cereal. Rachel overheard Mae say she was going to go shopping so Rachel asked "Could you please get some more Nuttella while you're there?"

"Really? Can I come? Louie will watch the kids. Right Louie?" She turns around in her seat searching do the boy. The only one she saw qualified to watch everyone while she and Mae where gone. "I don't want to watch the hoodlums. The last time I did...they almost killed me."

Louie blinked at his name. "Um, yeah, I guess." He shrugged. "Shouldn't be too hard!"

Quinn clapped her hands together,"Right! Babysitter acquired. What do ya say, favorite care taker of mine?" She smiled.

"What? We did nothing of the sort. We just asked you over and over again if we could have $10 each, but you kept saying no." Rachel continued to eat her cereal. She then looked at Louie who was supposed to watch over them. Rachel judged that maybe he would be a bit more fun than Quinn was.

Louis nodded. It shouldn't be too hard. He knew what he was doing. Right? Yeah. He smiled and nodded once more. He was going to be good to go.

"I said no because if you want money you need to go mow lawns or something. I'm not a money tree." Quinn retorted, placing the cereal box on the table. She clapped Louis on the shoulder,"Good luck, brother." With that she walked off to her room,"I'm going to change."

"What will he need help with? we are absolute Angels!" Rachel watched Quinn walk away. Rachel finished her bowl of cereal and put away her bowl and spoon in the sink. She then came back and put away the milk and cereal. Rachel then came back one last time and asked Mae "What's on the shopping list?"

Mae tried not to laugh at the banter between Quinn and "the kids" and agreed with Quinn that Louis could watch them. She made a side comment to him:


"Do this for us, and I'll give you...ten dollars an hour? Sound fair? And do me a favor, watch the cuts on Jenny's arms. I'm gonna get some ointment stuff while I'm out so that they won't get infected. But if they open while were gone, just lightly press a warm wash cloth. And talk to her so she doesn't feel the pain so much."


She then proceeded to read off the shopping list she created of everything that they were out of to Rachel. The list had Nutella.

Louis nodded. "I'm sure it can't be that hard." He smiled. He knew this was going to be fun.

 

[Whale]

Whit stumbled up to them. "is there carrots on there?" She asked trying to see the paper. Carrots were her favorite snack, she loved eating them and had one almost everyday. @DragonFangs @solicitude @CellistCat606

Rachel looked at the list and saw carrots written no where on it. Since Rachel didn't want her disappointed she grabbed the list and wrote down Carrots. "Yup here they are," she said while showing her the list.

Wjit clapped her hands and giggled happily. "Thank you!" She squealed, twirling. "I'll help you unload the groceries when you come bacK." She promised.

Mae leaned over to Rachel.


"Nice save."


She was smiling.

"Don't mention it. I know first hand if us kids don't get what food we want most of the time we would get upset." Rachel then jumped out of he chair and walked over to Louis. She then asked "So what do you have planned for us?"

Jennifer heard voices from another room once she entered the room, "Hewwo!" she said to greet Rachel, Whit, Mae (again), and Louis. She gave everyone a hug and then she heard her tummy rumble, and asked innocently "Fwood?"​
