I feel bad, but I don't remember like ANY of my Spanish despite taking it for around 5 years in high school lol. Even worse, I was at the top of my class all the time in high school Spanish haha.

Lol well dont feel bad the problem is really with how American schools tend to teach foreign languages. They focus first on proper grammar and how to congregate yada yada instead of how starting with useful skills like how to actually start communicating with people.
