I think it's better to hold off until we know for certain how many chars we have and what everyone's making, but feel free to make if you know you want to play em.

Newer gods are probably most needed since the ones we have currently are oldies

I will hold off then but I’m curious what kind of new gods are we talking about?
like a god of communication?, god of science? Is that what you mean?

Is it possible for a spirit to wander for 100 yrs before becoming a Shinki for the first time?

I would assume yes.
Since they are spirits that got choose by a God.

Except it's really hard for them to survive that long without a God. Usually they get attacked by phantoms and become corrupted.
