Yey! I'll have to explain to Yuuken that after all the upheaval and decline of worship we kind of need to get more followers and it's better if they can actually see Phantoms for several reasons. Hasuna has spent far too long resting on her laurels and the laziness has finally caught up to her. Our powerbase is much reduced.

I thought she put people in hell that the person didn't like? Also threatening people that they will go to hell if they don't believe is a tried and tested tactic. Worked for the Catholics for hundreds of years.

her deal is she will send 1 person of their choosing to hell right now ( or asap) but in return they will go to hell when the die or if they fail to honor her

This used to not be the deal but she added in the you also go to hell to perhaps make it not so easy to just get rid of someone knowing there was punishment coming

Humans are naturally forgetful. That or gods are just stamped with a permanent notice-me-not charm. They don't don't try to forget gods. They just do. Even Hiyori forgot about Yato for a brief time and she was in love with him =P

maybe but you seem to doubt how long some people live or how many people will call for something as simple as an ex cheating or to get rid of a rival to be a manager

No, no, I'm sure humans curse others to death all the time~The question is how many would actually call the name 'Azani' considering she doesn't even have a shrine? Rika has never even heard of such a goddess

lol, but i'm mostly teasing =P God players can make their own lore about why they're alive and I have no intention of killing players without their consent.

I don't think god memories of each other count as a lifeline tho, otherwise Yato wouldn't have to work at all. Tenjin/Bisha/Kofuku could remember him for an eternity.

Yato technically doesn't have to work at all because his Father who created him is immortal and human. He is just trying to be independent from him.

Not all strays are so lucky Rereading Noragami reminded me of the Manabu kid that Yato helped out once. Forgot about him a month afterwards, which does bring to question how many humans he's helped in his long life and how many actually still remember him even after all he's done for them lol. Considering he's still considers his father his lifeline, I guess not much.

But I think that Yato is cursed with a double dose of the human forgetfulness thing because of his Father. Otherwise more people would surely have heard of him.
