Who know? I don't have that problem, but I pretty much click on all the notifications I get even if i don't necessarily read them. My experience is that they stop working as soon as u miss one.

True

hmm new CS makes me wonder would there be a god that would actually contribute to the phantom problem?

Also i wonder how he survived in the Holy Roman Empire. Is he even a local Saint?

true enough i guess the phantoms will love him makes people depressed so they can kill them

lol, true. Though the same could almost be said of the gods of calamity. They generally bring about misfortune

Miss Kofuku Ebisu literally has a regalia that can make vents and can predict their appearance. Some even suspect she's making them, and just by walking around she causes disasters which is why her regalia keeps a tight leash on her 😏

do you think a saint would gain godly status in a monotheistic worldview?
Yes, because from what I can tell it's not the status of god that creates them but the prayers and wishes of the mortals that sustains them. Plus Saints are totally influenced by Paganism.

Maybe though the context i think would matter as the saints aren't the ones granting boons but asking on your behalf to god for the boon. though writing that out now i can totally see how in noragami logic they would gain a lesser or regalia like status which could go full deity.

true glad Azani doesn't cause that much issue even if i put her in the same category because of her negative nature.

I think it would end up a lot more like Tenjin, because they are people who died and were venerated as Gods or at the very least some type of Holy Figure. And I think that this is the context that matters most in regards to Noragami. They aren't like Regalias in that way.

If anyone reads the history or legend of Shorn, I'd be interested in getting opinions on it. I'm still on the fence about whether it needs more details or not.

Maybe I do view them as more like helpers than wish granters but I am no midevil scholr

In my view it's kind of weird to venerate a Saint when instead you could just go to the Big G and ask. But I was raised in a religion that doesn't venerate saints so I may be looking at it from a certain (possibly prejudiced) perspective. But from my understanding, even if they aren't the ones to grant wishes themselves, they are supposed to intercede on your behalf. Also BRB Dinner.
