Anything in response to what I mentioned isn't even on-going yet, it's more of a possibility for the future. As for what's going on, I'm a bit behind, so I wouldn't be the best to fill you in at current time.

But in short, Azani is eating with her phantom/regalia Miu, Kami_X is in a restaurant with a gun pointed at The Herald, Inari is chatting with Seiichi, and Nomoto is speaking with madness. Those are the 4 events going on and they happen at different times. Feel free to choose which event your character wants to join. You can also create your own (just drop your character wherever/whenever you want for their intro)...but since most players are already involved in their own interaction, you probably won't get much interaction that way unless it's planned.

Naming a phantom requires a brush from inzanami in Yomi and it kills almost all gods unless you have a massive following or are like Azani who was born in yomi and is nearly immune. A normal god that can survive the naming would take an insane amount of blight into themselves.

Phantoms have been named with Izanami's brush (like Hagusa and Nora) in canon, but whether they have the exact same abilities as a regular regalia is up for discussion. Basically, I let the named phantom players decide since I endorse creativity that doesn't clash with lore =P

Well I was planning on just dropping him in Kyoto and having him wander around looking for spiritual humans that would lead him to gods (as I've mentioned before, he's as dense as a rock and doesn't really know how to track them down)
Maybe I could have him magically

That works. Just make sure you check the times and dates of the character(s) you want your character to interact with and match it.

Ebisu named phantoms w/o blight using the brush, so not exactly sure why Azani was blighted in the first place, but that's up to you lol. Kuro was an evolved phantom after all, so she could have stronger blight *shrug*

i felt it more fitting and cool and kuro was more powerful. It feels a bit more fitting with naming as taking a part of each and giving it to the other. Besides it was just painful not dangerous
Also diffrent brush maybe as the brush for normal phantoms seemed to be more mind control outside of nora

Nah, we don't use the word stupid here. It's probably been a while since you read Noragami, and it updated (if you didn't get to the part where Father names Yukine)
Ebisu went down to Yomi to retrieve Izanami's brush. Was killed by Heavens. Father stole brush (so now he has two- the one he used when he made masks and Ebisu's). Father re-named Yukine, Hagusa using phantom-naming brush. Yato decides to kill Father with Kazuma who became Yato's Nora because he wanna kill Father as well. Nora was revealed to have been a phantom the entire time u-u (this one shocked me too)

I'm guessing not, otherwise they wouldn't have named her. Her first name was given via Izanami's brush...which then made it possible for other gods to name her I guess *shrug* Nora pretty broke everything we were first introduced to about regalias lol. But then, I guess Izanami's brush kinda did that with the whole naming phantoms thing=P

Haha, maybe. I have no idea tbh. The brush was introduced pretty early on with Ebisu's arc. Father probably has something to do with Izanami because he can't seem to die, he possessed one of her brushes early on, and we know that a dead woman is involved in his story somehow (which I'm guessing is a catalyst for him going to Yomi). I'm betting Father made some sort of deal with Izanami because I seriously can't see him escaping the land of the dead on his own. Even Yato had to be soul called
