Well you obviously, couldn't control the weapons od others. I was generally more thinking of the standard things like water, ice, fire, air, earth, Wind, lightning, such...The Fluffiest Floof you said the mark gives control over "an element". What counts as "an element"?
Like if I went and said that the element was like "swords", would that be acceptable?
Correct, otherwise I would have mentioned the other races and included race into the cs. Feel free to ask more questions if they come up.Ok, and just to be sure, only playable races are humans, right?
I kinda will without this most likely, but, is it possible that one person would hold two marks?
Damn. I wanted lightning. Oh well, Ice it is then.
I just wanted an element that would be funny to use if my chara caught someone peeping in the bath. Lighting for shock or ice for cold. Guess I got ice.
Oooo. I like that. A 'steamy' view.Wandering Grim Hollow How about steam or air? They could blow people away and the steam could even hide the "view"
IC censoring (the holy light of censor as it is known in comment sections...I think)Oooo. I like that. A 'steamy' view.
Depends. Steam censors are basic. Then there is object (books, curtains, etc) censors. The godlike one is light beams. Holy light of censorship.IC censoring (the holy light of censor as it is known in comment sections...I think)
Uhm, your cahracter had cat ears on that picture... Just to make sure, they are fake and cosmetic, like the mask of Chris, right?IC censoring (the holy light of censor as it is known in comment sections...I think)
no they aren´t. And they aren´t cat ears. It was the most fitting pic I had, so I came up with something to use it.Uhm, your cahracter had cat ears on that picture... Just to make sure, they are fake and cosmetic, like the mask of Chris, right?
I guess that could be a thing. Wasnt planning for that, but after all, it suits a loli, so ill just accept that idea.no they aren´t. And they aren´t cat ears. It was the most fitting pic I had, so I came up with something to use it.
Basically, her spirit is too unruly (remember they are still trying to control them) so it is always partially summoned. Only the ears and tail come out, thus being attached to her body, until the spirit is more fully summoned, and even then they are somewhat linked. So my character is fully human, those tails and ears are not actually hers, but they appear to be.
alright, thanksI guess that could be a thing. Wasnt planning for that, but after all, it suits a loli, so ill just accept that idea.
(Currently a WIP. I wasn't sure which direction to make the MMC, so tell me if anything isn't to anybody's preference and I'll make proper changes. By preferences I mean either completely oblivious, or completely taking advantage of his "situation". I went with the prior.)

WIP
Summary:
The average kid in school, Raymond was never quite as spectacular as some of his peers when it came to public reputation. Not because of his looks, he was at least proud of not being the worst looking, but because he was plain doubtful. Raymond went through his daily life in silence, having accepted that he was just the normal student who was never going to be nominated as the school's most athletic, or most good looking male, or most likely to succeed, and never going to be able to get into any kind of romance. He wasn't exactly awkward, just avoided purposely avoided much social contact.
Raymond had very few friends, and often spent his time with his nose tucked away into another fantasy novel. The typical male hero protagonist who at one point saves a damsel in distress type of novels, more specifically, the ones taking place in some medieval era with magical beasts and the such.
As for interaction with Raymond, he's quite the same as anybody else. Approachable, yet doubtful of his capabilities. Talking was easy enough, he was confident enough to talk as long as he wasn't the topic, enough to be able to make jokes and tease if it were someone he was comfortable with. With females, he is a bit less inexperienced associating with them in general.

- Anything fantasy related: swords, magic, beasties, you name it
Dislikes
- Being outshined
- Being the focus point
Quirks
- Scratching the back of his head, especially when he's feeling embarrassed
- Being completely oblivious to any and all forms of affection
- Reading anything nearby. It gives him a sense of security, and often helps him in situations least expected
Raymond was born to a middle-class family, and went through life like any other boy. There wasn't anything quite astounding about his upbringing, or unique. As an only child with both parents who worked constantly, of course he would group up to be the lone wolf stereotype. Having found himself immersed in fairytales and fantasies, the time that could be spent making friends was instead spent reading.
Having convinced himself that he would always be a nobody, Raymond never aspired to be anything great. He wasn't like every other student who wanted to be an astronaut or a doctor; Raymond just went through every single day like it were routine. Wake up, get through school, get back home, and read the night away.
At first, finding Legends of Kanari was just another exciting find, especially since it still looked like it new and was priced fairly cheap. However, the moment he found the opportunity to open the book, it was a complete mistake. One moment he was in his room, and the next he was being thrown down a tree and had a sword at his throat by some knight! He hardly had any time to ask any questions, about where he was or why she was dressed the way she was, before he was dragged away to a castle.
Somehow, in a mess he was still trying to sort through himself, he was being sentenced to attend a school he had never heard of in his life, in a country he had no idea even existed.

- Spiritual Armor: The ability to create armor around the user's body from solid spiritual energy.
Deer are often depicted as protectors, their horns used not only to defend themselves but others as well. By being granted the armor, Raymond will be able to effectively protect his allies in situations where he prviously could not.
Over time, the capabilities of the armor will increase in strength, as his yearning to defend his friends (yes, cringey and completely original) becomes stronger.
- No current physical weaponry, as he lacks any form of combat training. (Can be altered with time)
Already didAmi, I will not just work on the formatting, but content-wise, the character is done, you can take a look
Thats fine, i just wanna have all characters before sunday if possible.I'll have it out as soon as I can. I just got home from work and I doing some chores before I start anything.
Oh no. While she SEEKS to get the magic form of alchemy, because this time period often suggested it, she can´t really accomplish things like turning anything to gold or ressurecting people. Again, not that that stops her from trying. Still, she has knowledge, through her understanding of poisons and toxins, that some potions will have weirder effects. I plan on using that to help with creating new plot points or pushing existing ones, by using weirder (but conceivable) potions to achieve effects the magic itself cannot.Already did
I like her. The wolf is really big in the image, that kinda disturbs me, but you said it wouldnt let her fully summon him, so i take it he isnt that size even when summoned by her.
The abilities appear good to me and generally most things seem fine, just notice that alchemy is possible, but its not possible to do like... magic potions, as the marks are the only form of magic.
