Seriously though, I don't splurge on fictional characters usually, but there's something about Chloe Price's character that I fell in love with. Have you played Life is Strange?

That's a good question.


Obviously, nothing that would you to godmod. Hm. Well, one of my characters from the old thread had the eternal youth brand of functional immortality where she didn't age, but she could still, say, get cancer or die from a shooting. The other, whose profile I'm tweaking right now, had a berserker-like rage that left them exhausted bordering on incapacitated.


It's really all about finding appropriately harsh consequences for the power you have in mind.

I'm playing around with someone that can suck like "life" out of her environment and project the energy like a cannon. Traditional issues with it too like causing internal bleeding, having to be immobile and knocking her out.

As long as she conscious and draining, she sucks up like plants and small animals in a radius around her, expelling it at once. Longer she holds, more damage it does to her body but a bigger blast.

@welian Quick question: Is there a sort of hospital or clinic in Oasis? What other places of occupation would there be?

There is! Oasis is a small (population-wise) town though, so any hospital or clinic is probably going to be understaffed, with older and less specialized equipment. It has most everything you'd think you'd find in a small town - a post office, a diner or two, a space port (which is basically giant runway intended for spaceship use rather than airplanes) the ominous wreckage of the GenCorp facility, thousands empty homes and businesses because the previous inhabitants died fro gruesome airborne poisoning ten years ago and no one wants to touch Oasis, and the Grave.


The Grave is a very large hole in the ground where the laboratory was that contained the Dust.


Do not go into the Grave.

I have an idea brewing if you really, really still want to play an alien, but if it's at all possible I'd like for you to either make a human character first, or wait for me to sleep on things.

well I decided to let thy sleep. (bull I passed out long before you posted) But yea, id be happy to create a wee human though for the alien id have to talk to you about what idea you have brewing and see if I can adapt my little lovelies basic Chassis to fit whatever it is your thinking of though of that I have no problem with. They are adaptable 'little' bastards so that shouldn't be to hard. May I PM you?
