Ok. Sorry to be a pain. But Now after using the Servers downtime to think about it have decided on a Shikigami. That takes on the form of a dog. If there ever comes a point where he would need to intimidate, then he can shift into a monstrous form then afterwards reverts into the paper doll form to gather spiritual energy once more


On that note is a Hybrid form a must? I was thinking for this idea, a Human form, Dog form, Monstrous dog form, Paper-Doll form

I'm sold on that! You can exchange a hybrid form for a paper-doll form.

RANGYOKU (Checked this twice to make sure I got it right this time) But Gem, I wanted to let ya'll know for my character I'm making him a Shrine of his own. I'm still working on Shinji's background and all but I'll PM you on Discord or something to talk stuff out when I wake up later. Had a few ideas but wanna double check with you first.

Tagging Ria and Brii as well since your characters are both heavily involved with the Amane Jingū shrine. I was wondering if Shirou (being a Shikigami) could potentially be the Yokai servant of one of Kazumi's ancestors, tasked with protecting the Shrine as a guardian similar to the Koma inu – Yokai.com (would have put this as the Yokai Species but they come in pairs) so he wouldn't really be involved in the running and upkeep of the shrine, but more like the 'guard dog'.

I'm thinking at first he wouldn't show much respect or obedience towards Kazumi, believing that she needs to prove herself worthy of being the Heir. Whereas with Nobuyuki he wouldn't really talk back to him; considering the fact that he would already have acknowledged him as being the Shishun.


As Shikigami are normally summoned, he would maybe be 'living' on borrowed time, perhaps relying on the spiritual Energy permeating from the Shrine, though that is basically a temporary source for him and eventually he would revert to the 'Paper doll' he was summoned from?.
