Not Everything Is Perfect...(Val & Coedy)

Avery smiled. "I like that too." She said. "I have a collection of pictures from hiking in different places." She told him. "It starts from when I was, like, five."

Dane hugged her back. "You're better." He told her. When she played with his hair, he laughed a little. If anyone had told him, even yesterday, that this would happen, he would have called them crazy.

"Oh, so you are a photographer?" Sam asked, as he leaned against the tree. He stretched his arm out, and then rubbed his shoulder. "I love times like these." He said softly.

Haley shook her head, and then stood up. "Come, we should get out of the foam pit." She suggested, as she let go of his hands, and then moved for the side of the pit.

Avery shrugged a little. "It's more of a side thing." She said. "Never really thought of myself as a photographer." She told him. "But I love times like this too."

Dane smiled. "But it's so much fun." He said, slightly whiny. Still, he moved to the side of the pit and hopped out.

"I thought being a photographer would be fun. Because I could go anywhere I wanted, and take pictures." Sam explained as he let out a soft yawn.

Haley pouted, she pulled him up, and then sat over him. "I know I'm sorry Dane." She said before she kissed him again.

Avery smiled a little. "Well, I do go a lot of places." She said. "But not really where I want." She looked at him as he yawned. "Are you sure you're not tired?" She asked. "You're yawning a lot."

Dane smiled a little as she kissed him. He kissed her back, placing one hand gently on her lower back. He pulled away after several moment, but stayed close. "Best science project ever." He said.

Sam laughed softly, "Im sure that I am not tired, I am very relaxed." He explained, before he began to stand up. "Come on, lets hike." He smiled and held his hand down to her.

Haley smiled softly, one hand stayed on his shoulder, and the other rested on his stomach. She kissed him once more, and then pulled away. "I know, I really never thought I'd meet someone like you." She told him with a soft smile.

Avery smiled a bit. She took his hand and got up. "Okay, let's go." She said with a smile. This was probably the best day ever.

Dane smiled a little. "Well, I was here the whole time." He told her. "Well, not here-here. This is the first time I've been here." He laughed a little.

Sam looked down at Avery, he then began to walk to the top of the dusty hill. He smirked and put his sunglasses back on. He then tightened his backpack, then continued the hike.

Haley giggled, "Really, I've never noticed." She winked, and then tried to tickle him. She played with his hair, and then rolled over him. She was now laying next to him with a smile.

Avery continued to walk with him. "This place is so pretty." She said quietly. She looked up at the trees, smiling to herself.

Dane smiled more. He started to laugh when she tickled him. When she rolled over him, she turned and smiled at her. "You sure you never noticed?"

Sam looked at the red-orange dirt, and smiled as he looked up at the sun setting. He rubbed his forehead and then continued his slow hike up the hill.

Haley smiled, and took his hand into hers. She rubbed her fingers over his knuckles and moved closer to him. She laid her head on his shoulder, then smiled as she looked at the painted walls.

Avery looked at the sunset. "I love sunsets." She said. Then she stopped in her tracks. "It's already sunset?" This wasn't good. "Crap. Dad's gonna kill me. I've been gone for hours."

Dane smiled as she took his hand. He didn't want to move when she rested her head on his shoulder. But he realized it was probably late. "I think I need to get home at some point." He said. "Unless I want to be dead."

Sam watched Avery as she saw the sunset. He sighed, but nodded. "Come on time for you to get home."He agreed, before he began to walk down the hill.

Haley stood up, she pulled him up with her, and then walked over to her bag. She then pulled it over her shoulder, and smiled at Dane. "Coming slow poke?" she teased, an then wiped the sweat off of her face.

Avery nodded a bit. She cursed at herself for being careless. Pulling out her phone, she looked up at him. "I'm just going to call my dad so he knows I'm alright." She dialed the number and held her breath as he answered. "Dad, I'm okay." He wasn't happy. "I'm on my way back now, I'll be home before dark, I promise." She said.

Dane stood up and followed her. "Who are you calling a slowpoke?" He asked, grabbing his bag. "I'm actually very fast." He smiled a little bit again.

Sam looked down at her, "I'm sorry Avery. I'll bring you home." He told her, as he helped her down the hill. When they reached the bottom, he looked over at her and then waited for her to catch up.

Haley smirked, "Well, obviously I'm calling you a slow poke." She giggled and walked out of the gym. She unlocked her car, an began to walk to the driver side.

Avery looked up at him when she hung up. "You don't have to do that." She said. "I can ride back." Though she would love to spend more time with him.

Dane laughed. He followed her out and went to his car. "So, I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked with a smile.

Sam shook his head, "No, I'm not going to let you ride home in the dark. I'll drive you home." He insisted, a He walks down the street.

Haley nodded, an wrapped her arms around his neck and then kissed him with a smile. "Yes, see you tomorrow." She agreed, as she handed him her number on a scrap of paper.

Avery looked down, happy on the inside. "Thanks." She said softly. Clearly, even if she wanted to, there was no arguing with him on this.

Dane put his hands on her hips and kissed him back. "Good." He took the paper and tucked it in his pocket. "Hopefully I won't forget I put this in there." He said with a smile. "But if I do, it's because I'm an idiot."

Sam smiled, he walked to the car, and opened the door for her. He got into the drivers side of the car, and then started the car. "Glad you are letting me take you home." He said under his breath.

Haley smirked, and then kissed him again, "You're no idiot you're just special." She giggled, and then parted his butt. "Don't forget." She winked and then began to walk towards her car.

Avery nodded a little. "Um, what about my bike?" She asked, motioning to her bike still sitting in his front yard. She couldn't just leave it here.

Dane smiled after the kiss. "Special." He said. "Got it." He nodded a little. "I won't." He added, getting in his car.

Sam looked at the bike, and then got out of the car. He picked up the bike, and put it in the back seat. He then got into the driver's side. "Got it'" he laughed and began to drive out of the driveway.

Haley smiled, she gave him a wink as she drove by. She blew a kiss, and then drove out of the parking lot. She yawned a little, and began to drive to her house.

Avery smiled a little. She buckled her seatbelt as he started to drive. "Thanks again." She said. "Most people are too weirded out to go on an army base."

Dane started his car and drove home. He was sure that this was the best day of school since ever.

Sam nodded, "Thanks, I'll take that as a complement." He laughed and then pulled up to the base, "Do you need to do anything here?" He asked her curiously.

Haley got home, and sat on her bed. She had already taken a shower by the time she could finally sit down. She yawned and then laid down, thinking of Dane.

Avery smiled at his question. "Nope." She said. "Just don't freak out if someone asks you to pull over." She said. "I'm two streets in by the way." She added.

Dane took a shower and laid on his bed after doing his homework. Then he pulled out his phone and her number. Hey Haley, it's Dane. He hit send and wondered if she'd text him back.

Sam nodded, "Don't worry, I don't freak out too much." He told her before he drove into the base. He yawned a little bit, and then found his was to the second street. "Which one?" He asked her as he looked around.

Haley was about to fall asleep, that's when she got her text. Hey dane(: you remembered!!! Good job she laughed as she replied and then pulled the covers over herself, so only her head was popping out of the covers.

Avery smiled. "Seventh one down." She said. She pointed to it. "The one with the red truck." Her dad was standing on the porch. "And the very angry looking man."

Dane smiled at her response. I know surprised me too :D He was lying on his stomach and smiling.
