Not Everything Is Perfect...(Val & Coedy)

Avery's eyes slowly opened when she felt Sam kiss her head. She didn't want to go to school. Somewhere along the line, a teacher would know it's her birthday and force the class to sing "happy birthday" very terribly. She could pass on that.

Dane woke up with a small smile as he felt Haley moving. "I'm guessing you don't want to go to school." He murmured softly. He didn't really want to go either.

Sam looked down at Avery as her beautiful eyes shined up at his. "Good morning babe." He said softly. He hugged her happily and pulled the overs up, "I don't wanna go to school." He mumbled unhappily.

Haley groaned, but nodded as she pulled her head up to his chest. "School sucks." She complained and looked up to Dane, "Do you feel the same?" She questioned him curiously

Avery couldn't help but smile a little. "That is exactly how I feel." She told him. She moved just a little so she could softly kiss his lips. She wanted to stay right here.

Dane held her closer. "Exactly the same." He told her softly. He kissed the top of her forehead gently and then smiled. "But I love you."

Sam smiled, "I'm calling in sick." He told her, as he picked the the phone, and put on his best sick voice. "Sorry Melinda, I'm sick.. I'll be back by the end of the week." He hung up an smiled as he kissed Avery softly.

Haley smiled, looking up at Dane, and kissed his neck softly. "Can we skip today?" She asked him as she pulled the covers over them once again, hoping that he would say yes.

Avery smiled more. When he hung up, she kissed him back. "Does this mean I got sick too?" She asked. "Most teachers are against students missing school." She couldn't stop smiling.

Dane didn't want to move. "I think we can convince my mom we've a stomach bug." He said with a small smile. "She won't just let us miss without a reason." He added. "So we're sick now."

Sam smiled, brushing her hair back, "Yes, you are sick.. with the looove bug." he laughed and curled up with her. "But darling, I am not like most teachers." he whispered against her soft cheek.

Haley giggled, "That's almost too easy." she took a deep breath as she clutched her stomach, making obnoxious coughs, doubling over, and acted like she was being stabbed with a screw driver. She stopped and smirked, "Simple." she winked and laid back by Dane.

Avery smiled wider. "Well, I don't think I'll get over this bug any time soon." She said. "And I know you're not like most teachers." She smiled up at him. "That's what makes you so special."

Dane smiled a bit. "Well, I think I need to work on my acting skills." He said. "My attempts are so pathetic my mom just laughs at me." He smiled wider. "Doesn't stop her from letting me stay home though."

Sam smiled, enclosing her in his arms, and kissed her cheeks. "Mmh; I love being sick, especially when I have a babe like you to hold in my arms." He whispered as he ducked his head down and laid his head on her shoulders.

Haley giggled, kissing him passionetaly. "You ready?" She asked as she moved away from him a little, but laid in front on him. She began her coughs, but she wasnt going to extremes today. She didn't want to push it out too much.

Avery blushed a little bit. "It makes it so much better when I have you." She said. "It's not going to be an extremely long day." She added. "It will probably be too short."

Dane smiled and nodded a little. "Let's go." He said. He got out of the bed and took her hand. Then he walked to the living room where his mom was. "Hey, mom." He got her attention. "We're not feeling that great, can we stay home?"

"If you say so." She said, guessing that they were faking. Though they deserved a mental health day.

Sam smed softly, "Well then we'll have to make it long!" He told her, as he looked into her eyes and ran his fingers through her hair as he laid behind her. He never wanted this to end.

Haley looked at his mom, waiting until she said yes. She nodded her head in thanks and walked back to the bedroom. She closed the door behind her and giggled, "Cuddle?" She asked as she sat on the bed with an innocent smile.

Avery nodded a little. "Yes we will." She said. She leaned against him and just listened to his heartbeat. She was home and nothing was going to change that.

Dane followed Haley back to the room. When she sat on the bed, he smiled slightly. "Definitely." He sat next to her and pulled her close to him. "And you're not getting away any time soon."

Sam smiled as she curled up next to him, and he placed her arms around her. He kissed her deepy and pulled the covers over then once more and leaned against her body.

Haley giggled, "Good.. I'll be staying." She told him, as she kissed his neck and curled up in his lap. She also pulled a blanket over her shoulders, and looked up at Dane.

Avery kissed him back as her heart skipped a beat. She was so happy in that moment. When he pulled the covers over them, she kissed his cheek gently. She never wanted this to stop.

"Good." Dane said with a smile and a nod. He pulled her closer to him and kissed her forehead.

Sam smirked, kissing her neck, and closed his eyes. "Good night sweetheart." He whispered, and began to fall into a peaceful sleep.

Haley pushed her head into his neck, and kissed his shoulder as she let out a yawn. She was so tried, but the day wasn't even hard.

Avery smiled. She curled against him more and used his chest as a pillow. She listened to his heart beat and felt herself getting lulled to sleep.

Dane kissed her forehead lightly. He held her closer to him and wrapped his arms protectively around her. He wasn't going to let this moment go.
