Not Everything Is Perfect...(Val & Coedy)

Sam looked back at Avery, and slightly slowed down. He moved his shoulders around, and then continued up the hill. He got to the top and then gave a smile before he walked again.

Haley nodded, "I know, but it helps." She told him, and now both of her hands were bracing his back, so when he tried again, she could hold him up.

Avery smiled more when he slowed down a little. The hill was pretty steep, but she didn't mind it all that much. It wasn't that bad.

Dane laughed a little. He was very aware of her hands on his back. Still, he tried it again. He managed to do it. Not well, but it was done.

Sam looked over at her as they walked down a hill, "Do you have any siblings?" He asked her, as he fixed his white and black sunglasses.

Haley smiled, when he had done it, she removed her hands, and then pushed his stomach down. She giggled, and took a few steps back. She then ran, launching herself into the air, and then flipped over Dane; smiling brightly.

Avery shook her head. "Yeah." She said. "I have an older brother. He's five years older and really cool." She told him. "He's graduating college this year."

Dane smiled a little, then he fell. "Okay, that was not fair." He said. He flinched as she flipped over him. "That was cool, though." He added. "It's like, superhero moves or something."

Sam nodded, he looked over at Avery, then smiled happily. "Cool." He said, as they came to a fork in the road. "Left." He told her, as he walked left.

Haley laughed, "Thanks, but it's nothing that great." She told him, as she walked over to the chalk bucket, and grabbed the spray bottle. She sprayed him a dozen times and then giggled, "You're it!" She announced, before she started to run off.

Avery smiled and followed him as he turned left. "Do you have any siblings?" She asked him as they continued. It was weird that she wanted to know more about him.

Dane nodded. "Yes it--Hey!" He put his hands up to defend himself. "Are you trying to tell me I need to take a shower?" When she ran off, he grabbed another spray bottle and ran after her. "You are so gonna get it!"

Sam nodded, "Yes, three younger, two girls and one guy." He told Avery, and then chuckled. "We got into the biggest trouble together." He reminisced, then looked at the trail ahead of them.

Haley laughed, "Catch me if you can!" She yelled, and then jumped into the foam pit. She quickly got out, and ran to the trampoline, smiling.

Avery smiled again. "That's how my brother and I were." She said. "We used to think it was a challenge to see how many things the military people on the base freaked out about." She laughed a little. "Turns out it's a LOT!"

Dane laughed more, he followed her to the pit and then the trampoline. "Oh, I can catch you!" He said. When he got close enough, he sprayed her back. "Gotcha!"

Sam laughed, "Sounds like fun, but that is nothing compared to when all four of us snuck into my dad's work, and turned the water green." He explained with a rumbling laugh.

Haley giggled, she sprayed him back, and then took a step back. She acted like she was going to head but him, but she didn't. She walked up to him, wrapped an arm around his shoulders, and then maneuvered her way around him, spraying him again.

Avery laughed even more. "One time, my brother and I, we were messing around on my dad's computer. I was like five, by the way." She said. "And we ended up somehow hacking into the army database thing they have and the entire base was locked down for two days. We were so grounded."

Dane backed up when she sprayed him. Then, when she wrapped her arm around her and sprayed him again, he started to laugh. "Not fair." He moved and picked her up. Then he went back to the foam pit and jumped in with her. "This is fun."

Sam couldn't help but laugh, "Wow, you were smart from the very beginning." He commented, and then rubbed his forehead. "And then my brother and I stuck stink bombs in our neighbors mail box." He said with a chuckle.

Haley giggled, she screamed as she was pulled into the foam pit. She came up, and tossed her bottle on the mats. She looked over at him and then threw a foam piece at him. "Yeah, it is really nice." She agreed, before she played with the foam that surrounded her.

Avery shrugged. "I was five, my brother and I hit random things on the computer." Then she laughed more. "Stink bombs, really?" She asked.

Dane smiled more. He tossed the bottle aside in time to get hit in the face with foam. "Hey!" He threw one back. "So, what exactly is the purpose of this pit thing?"

"On the computer? You mean like you would smash oranges on the corners, and squeeze toothpaste on the screen?" Sam asked with a little chuckle. "Yes, stinkinombs." He added with a little smirk.

Haley smiled, she moved herself over to Dane, and sat next to him. She leaned against him, and then draped her arms over his shoulders. "When we jump off of the trampoline, we land in here. It's better for our bodies. It stops our speed." She explained with a little smle.

Avery laughed. "While that sounds like fun, no." She said. "More like we clicked random things and accidentally opened some encrypted file." She smiled more, no one ever really cared to hear that story.

Dane put his arm around her when she sat next to him. "Ah." He said. "I see." He smiled a little and then turned his head to face her. "So, is it fun to land in?" He asked her.

"Really, well remind me to keep you away from my computers." Sam said, before giving out another laugh. He glanced over at Avery, he really liked her stories.

Haley smiled softly, she laid her head on his shoulder, and then nodded. "Yes, it is very fun to land in." She explained, before she gently rubbed his shoulder.

Avery laughed again. "Don't worry." She said. "I've gotten better now. Now I actually know what I'm doing." She smiled.

Dane smiled more. He was definitely started to like her. "So, how hard is gymnastics?" He asked. "On a scale of one to ten."

Sam nodded, he trekked up the hill, and then looked at Avery. "Good, because I wouldn't let you near any electronics if you weren't." He joked, before he laughed a very happily.

Haley smirked, she let her legs fall on top of his legs, and then looked up at him. "11 for beginners, but it's like a 4 for me." She explained with a smile.

Avery smiled more. "What do you mean you wouldn't let me near electronics?" She asked with a laugh. "Well, now I want to mess up your computer just to mess with you." She told him.

Dane laughed a little. "I think for me it would be more of a 12." He said. "I'm better at sports if it deals more with running." He told her. "And has a ball."

"Thanks for telling me Aves; I'll be sure to keep my computer under lock and key." Sam laughed, this was fun, the best hiking trip he had ever had.

Haley giggled, she moved around, so she sat on his lap. "You do look like that kind of guy." She said, before she leaned in, and then kissed him. Her cheeks heated up, and she smiled softly.

Avery paused for a moment. "Aves?" She asked him skeptically. "I think this is the first time someone has given me a nickname." She told him. "Unless you count my brother who called me Twerp for about a year."

Dane felt his heart speed up when she sat on him. When she kissed him, he was surprised. "Wow." He said quietly. Then he moved a little and kissed her back.

Sam looked at her, "should I just call you Avery?" he asked her, and then coughed a little bit. "Anyways, what's your favorite part about hiking?" he asked curiously.

Haley blushed, she slowly pulled away, and then looked into his eyes. "When we go back to school, will everything be different, or will it be the same?" She asked him as she looked down at the foam.

Avery smiled a little. "You can call me whatever you want, I guess." She said. "Just don't call me Twerp." Then she thought about his other question. "Being able to think about anything." She said.

Dane smiled a little. "You're cute when you blush." He whispered. Then he lifted her chin so she was looking back at him. "It will be however you want it to be." He told her. "If you want everyone to see us, I'm okay with that."

Sam smiled, "Ok, no Twerp calling." He promised and then looked up at the trees, "That's good favorite." He told her, before he sat and patted the ground next to him. "Sit?"

Haley looked at Dane, she smiled a little, then kissed his finger tips. She placed her hand on his shoulder and then pressed her forehead against his. "I dont care. As long as you are okay with it." She told him before she looked into his eyes.

Avery smiled again. She sat down next to him and then laid down, looking at the sky. "What's your favorite part?" She asked him. It was still weird that she was here with her teacher.

Dane smiled again. "If you haven't noticed," he started. "But I'm not one to care what people think of me." He told her. It wasn't entirely true, but he didn't care right now.

Sam looked down at her, he thought, and then smiled. "Seeing all of the scenery, and seeing everything everything that reminds me of freedom." He said with a smile.

Haley giggled, "You're so awesome." She said before she hugged him tightly. She kissed his cheek, and then then played with his hair.
