Ah, so she did not know either. Vincent shook his head. "No, well... I figure I know more than you do, at least. I think I've been around longer." As he finished his sentence, he fell backward into the soft, damp grass. His clothes were already soaked through from the mist, anyway. It felt nice. "All I know is I have been alive a very, very long time. And that I have odd abilities, like you. This whole time I had been wondering if mine would be different or the same as another, but it seems it is the former." Vincent and Nova's powers were similar, both dealing with heat and some form of fire... But they had different properties and different uses. Vincent's was quick, violent and well... shocking. Nova's seemed more calm and controllable, warm and friendly, yet... Very powerful. "Well, what should we do? Wander this planet? I have been searching for someone like you for centuries, but all this time I had no idea what I would do when I found you."

@Noivian

"The loss of life acts as a way to cull those who are not swift enough or smart enough to overcome my virus. Until now I've just been using diseases like small pox, but my children can easily treat and cure those types of diseases. So this time I had to put forth some extra effort as it were and put some of my energy into the virus. The result.. was as you saw. All this death while heartbreaking is done to ensure the survival on the species as a whole. " Nanautzin explained as the Parn were already studying this new affliction and gathering different samples.

Nova couldn't help but feel an odd sort of connection to this guy. He almost seemed lonely, yet unprepared for when he did gain companionship. It was endearing, in the sort of way one would find a baby duck falling over its giant feet adorable. Nova had no clue why she made that connection, but she had. "This planet is nice. I suppose we could wander about it for some time, if you want to. If you'd rather take a break, we could... I dunno, talk?"

the cockpit of the ship bloomed to life showing a star chart and a new blinking light. "oh?" this region of space has a lot of distress signals. Acantha typed into the console 'ship being repaired will come to you when done' "this part of space sure is active"

An answer! Camira squinted at the message on the screen. The other ship was being... repaired? What was going on over there? Thinking harder on it, what should she type? She had no idea who she was talking to or the full context of the situation she was in. Throwing all caution to the wind Camira typed, 'Staying put, will update if something happens.'

"the Parn are resourceful if anything" Acantha thought to herself as she watched them working on the ship. how were these people able to fix a spacecraft more advanced than anything they have? she'll never know. imagine what they could accomplish under you. imagine how they could serve the fleet. Acantha shook her head. doing anything like that would screw up her plans. that and she doubt the old man would let her get away with a Kudeta without a scratch. that and she wasn't sure she could win against him.

Nanautzin smiled and watched his children work on understanding and planning the repairs of the vessel, " Oh? What's so active about it?" Nanautzin asked wandering closer to Acantha. At this point he regarded her and the others as guests rather than threats and treated them as such. " Would you mind if I inquired a bit about each of you? I so rarely have visitors so I'd like to get to know you and where you come from." Nanautzin said leaving the Parn to work. Their incredibly advanced intelligence a product of Nanautzin's careful grooming and care through the millennia. Though they could certainly build space craft if they wanted they just didn't seem all that interested when there was still so much to learn about their own planet. That and Nanautzin's constant curve balls known as plagues tended to keep the Parn focused on biology rather than astrology.

"I see a lot of potential in these people." Which makes me wonder why keep them on their toes and keeping them grounded to this planet. "I was awoken a week ago somewhere in the other reaches of this star cluster. And i stole that ship and began searching on why i exist." Acantha shrugged her smile unwavering.

Vincent simply nodded. "I mean, I've heard of those popular, celebrity 'immortals' that they all idolize..." Vincent had heard of them, but he wanted to go out and find his own answers. Also, he kept his presence locked down so tightly that it was a subconscious effort now. He wanted to go out and find his own way without accidentally being discovered by the wrong crowd. He wanted to find, not be found.

"They have never seemed like someone I wanted to approach, though. Someone who uses their powers for that purpose... I just can not see myself getting along with them." Vincent shook his head, wet grass now clinging to his dampened hair. A piece is stuck to his cheek, as well. "I have never used my powers that way..."

@Noivian

Nova idly picked off the blade of grass that stuck to his face. She hadn't meant to in any other way except to stop it from annoying her. Her touch left a small dry spot on his face, which was quickly covered up by more mist. "So we're immortals, then?" she asked, tilting her head curiously. "What way do you want to use your powers?" she asked. Personally, she didn't think she could answer that question, but still. It seemed like the appropriate thing to ask.

With nothing better to do, and having given it much thought, Loex whistled, gesturing to one of the robed figures. "Itov. Itov! Prepare the fastest ship we have. I've , hehe, important work to do." Off went the robed figure, a Jester cap and smile under it stitched in with red thread. As for Loex? The giggling mad man made himself a body double. A controllable second body. After all, he couldn't leave his own celebration.

As his cult surrounded his body double, Loex unfurled his fleshy wings as he flew towards the launch pads. Upon the pad was a more...experimental craft then the usual cruisers they used. This model was made for speed and only two passengers. Mainly it was a tube with thrusters upon the top, bottom, and back, at least when one uses the window for looking out and exiting as a point of interest. Itov already was seated inside, the middle of the glass opened to allow him to enter. Upon stepping inside, Itov closed the door, patting the seat beside him.

"Right beside me m'lord." Itov spoke up, grinning beneath his hood.

"Aye, aye. I know." Loex sat beside his head cultist, watching as Itov started it up. The entire tube shook as the thrusters rumbled and came to life, dust spraying upwards as this ridiculous space craft flew upwards towards space. "Any idea how long this should take?" He gestured towards a planet in the distance, noting it as the one he felt the mass of energy from. As patron god of Elderran, he should check out energy sources large to make even him feel it. They may be dangerous after all. He should know if his people must arm themselves.

"About ten minutes, assuming that we don't crash m'lord." Itov spoke calmly as he changed the thrusters, the twenty in about the middle of the curve lit up, sending them rocketing towards the planet. Loex weakened as they left, yet he was still powerful enough to be sensed halfway there. His energy felt old, yet with age came distinction. Maybe they'd sense him as he came in.

As his Parn worked on the ship Nanautzin sensed an old and familiar energy, " Guess the party ended." Nanautzin said walking out of the building onto a balcony so he could look up at the sky. " My my, isn't my little planet becoming a popular one." Nanautzin muttered as he watched and waited for the arrival of the fleshlord. He wasn't surprised that he was coming to check on things. Given the amount of immortals on one planet it's any wonder he got curious as to what was going on.

Acantha glaced at Nanautzin, "where are yo-" then she felt it. Another immortal, she couldnt tell if she should be more happy or more annoyed. More prey to add to the fire more immortal's to observe and study. More immortal's to ask about me. This whole different energy thing is going to get her caught some day. Hopefully when that happens she'll have room to escape or convince them that shes a rogue agent or something.

Vincent spread out across the cool grass as if he were making a snow angel. Her question weighed on his mind. He knew he wanted to help people, or at least, the universe. If what best benefited people ultimately harmed the greater good, than he would probably turn against them. After all, his loyalty is not to them, but the Universe. Over the centuries, before he had left Earth in search of finding his own way, he had meddled in the fairs of humans. "I have, from behind the scenes, meddled with the humans. In the ways I thought best. If they were falling astray, I did my best to put them back on track... But too many things continued to go wrong, and I felt as if there was nothing I could do for them anymore. So, I left to go out and discover my own ways. Where we are now, it would probably take a few days of straight travel to get back to the human's domain. If you are interested, there are others like us there."

@Noivian

Loex smiled as energies started to separate. He could locate the sickly energy of the plague lord from before. There also was an energy that appeared to have physical weight, or it's own gravity maybe. Some odd energy that seemed vaguely like the energy of an immortal, he's probably seen or felt something like it before. Seems he got stuck up over that. Another energy was so blindingly visible to his senses it hurt.

So the odd craft landed, a section of the window opening as Loex stepped out, adjusting his mask and dusting off his outfit. Upon stepping foot upon this world, he shuddered. Sure, a lot of them died, yet dead bodies were still flesh, even the masses of infection used a form of flesh as housing it looked like anyways. So much energy being in his presence so suddenly was enough to make him shudder. That's a decent power boost. Itov followed behind him, standing behind the demented Jester known as the Fleshlord. Loex simply raised a gloved hand and waved, first to the ship, then to the oddly heavy energy source, then to Nanutzin. "Hello, hehe, all. May I ask the purpose of this get together?"

Back on Elderran, the flesh clone of Loex overwatched the festivities. Not really capable of doing much besides watching anyways, the cult made sure all followed the regulations of this day. All must be happy.

"Why are there so many people!?" Cat hissed, wondering if hse had time to escape the group of immortals before thinking about the countless ways they could and would, stop her. "Gravity guy would lift me... I'm sure pale lady would wrap me in strings or something... Heck, even the virus guy would cover me in that disgusting fleshy stuff! Amd that other guy is a mystery, but no doubt he could stop me too" she thought to herself, disliking the fact that she was in the presence of so many immortals and felt like the weakest due to not knowing much. "You are all immortals, correct? So do you have any memories pre-immortality? Or just me?" Fran wondered aloud, not exactly sure of how else to contribute to the conversation

Acantha crossed her arms at this new immortal something, felt off. this one reminds us of us maybe it has more than three thoughts. why arent you two rude. "i wonder how many immortals will show up after the ship has finished" she looked at Cat with a curious look. "Cat. immortal's are born immortal, we don't have a 'previous' life. i thought i told you that already" she said in her cheerful manor attempting not to sound irritated. "speaking of previous lives, Nanautzin and this new one seem to be very old." its the smile pwetty hat.

@Trust @SleepyBuddha @Loex Ibetink @Seraph Darkfire

Nanautzin returned the wave, " The gathering just sorta happened. The two girls landed on my planet in a ship then tried to leave. I tried to get them to stay, after all its so rare I have guests, but I guess I'm naturally scary because Cat freaked out and ended up damaging the ship. Alexander was equally curious and kept the ship in the air while my children set up to repair the ship. Though... it may take a bit." Nanautzin said pointing to Cat and Alex respectively when he mentioned their names. Nothing much to say on Acantha yet. " And what are you doing here? I must say I don't think you've ever left your planet in the thousands of years we've known each other. Were you that concerned about me old friend?" Nanautzin said with a chuckle.

@Trust @Petroshka @Seraph Darkfire @Loex Ibetink

"It was more concern for my people. I'd, hehe, hate for someone to try crashing the holiday for them." He chuckled, shaking his head. "Though I won't lie, when enough energy for me to sense it amasses, I tend to be curious if it's friend," He gestured to Nanutzin. "Or foe." He glanced towards the ship. He didn't trust this different yet similar energy about as much as he could throw it. Then again he can't really throw energy...maybe the ship? OK, OK, back on topic.

Behind him, Itov bowed first to Nanutzin. His lord and that odd guy appeared to be friends. Next he shot a glare at the ship, thinking. He's seen a ship similar to it when he was acting as missionary for a few groups. Even then, those ships intrigued and scared him. So much more advance then their own, how could they compete? Finally, Itov waved to Alexander. He had no opinions on Alexander.

Back on Elderran, his flesh clone was moved about by the cult, sorta like a fleshy puppet. Maybe eventually someone would question it. Then a public execution or torture shall take place until they repent. Maybe the peeling of the voice box to render one silent.

Acantha eyed the new immortal examining him. He looks suspicious of the ship. If worse come to worst she might have to fight or talk her way out of things. Judging from the amount of immortals around her she quickly readjusted her options. If she were to try to escape the ship was locked down and she doubt there were any spacecraft lying around. There was only one option. Use her greatest weapon, her words.

Alex floated closer to Cat with a curious expression "Memories?" he wondered "I don't have any memories of life before I was born, though I do remember things, like how to act in polite company, and I know things about science that I shouldn't, at least given the experiences I've had since my birth" he scratched his head "Our memories are weird aren't they, we just know stuff" he noticed Ivov wave at him and happily waved back. He was always happy to meet new people, especially Mortals.

"Maybe it is knowledge from the Cosmic Consciousness?" he asked suddenly "Like all of the things we know or remember come from some greater source of infinite knowledge? That'd be interesting. I'd certainly like to get a look at that, it would be awesome"

Camira stared at the screen in front of her, hoping to find something (or someone) else nearby her. She wasn't that lucky. While the map showed surrounding planets, the energy in an area, and the blinking dot of that other ship, there was nothing else that could really help her. Sighing and moving away from the map in front of her, Camira looked over the ship. In her rush to signal out, she hadn't even explored the entire cockpit. On the wall opposite to the screens and buttons, Camira could just barely make out a rusty filing cabinet. Immediately intrigued, she was already opening and closing the mostly empty shelves. After getting halfway through, it was obvious that whoever had left this ship abandoned knew what they were doing. Whatever documents that were here before had been all been taken out. Determined to find something, Camira finally found something in the very last shelf. It was already slightly ajar, as if it had been forgotten about. Pulling it open, she took out a single file titled, "The Red Zone". The report was written in small type, with only one paper's worth of information.

"THE RED ZONE- Known for inhabiting unknown amounts of unreported Immortals. Given the mysterious status of the area, exploration remains undecided. RELATED: See Advanced Hub Options to indicate nearby Immortals."

Advanced Hub Options? Going back over to the cockpit, Camira looked over the many buttons once again. Finally she came across a large labeled switch. Pushing it down slowly, she looked at the rest of the ship. What would this do? Open a secret hatch? But only the same small LED screen flickered on. Looking at the map now though, it was obvious that something had changed. Yellow dots now flew across the screen with large amounts of energy coming off of them. Were these people? Or the "Immortals" mentioned in the report? Camira stared at the map, eyes glued to the screen. It was obvious now why there was so much happening on the nearby planet. At least five of the yellow dots were swerving near each other, showing up as almost a cluster of energy on the map. And strangely enough, the map had a label now. "THE RED ZONE" could be seen written on the top along with the number of yellow dots in the area. Camira put a finger to her lip, thinking about the implications of this. Why track this? Did this have something to do with whatever group originally owned the ship?

Amongst all these immortals, he was merely aware of how weak he really was. We had a viral immortal who could poison his entire supply of flesh quickly. Three odd balls who chances are can ruin his supply easily. Though one of them appeared friendly enough as to classify him as non threatening. "Hmm...so, mind if I, hehe, ask about your powers? It'd help ease a few of my fears." He adjusted his mask, giggling. Seems even he knew fear. Or maybe he was lying about being scared? It would be a good way to plan against these folk if push comes to shove. Not that it'd be much help. He was weak to most things, only relying on his insanity to help plan insane moves to keep others on their toes.

Itov adjusted his robes, standing a bit behind and off to the side from Loex, acting like a body guard. What use was he against immortals? Not at all even a bit of use. Save as a flesh source for his lord. Sort of like a battery. Though those mortals...he could take a few if they got all uppity. He played with the cuffs on his robes, satisfied once the feeling of cold steel touched his skin. He had curved daggers, much like his lord. Perfect for ripping into exposed flesh. It was noted one immortal waved back. What was that about? Did he not think himself superior?

"My power is this one string" Acantha put up one finger and a single strand of silvery bright string seemed to eminate from it. She took a glance at Alex. "One very long string." It disappeared again and she shrugged. "It seems useless but its good at cutting things and pulling me around." She lied negelcting to mention the thousands of string surrounding her area of five meters and the few longer ones spread about gathering information on the parn.

These parn sure arent lazy. so far they're talking all business

Nanautzin thought for a moment. Looking between the other immortals as he thought whether or not he should say anything about his abilities. The ship's repairs were going surprisingly quickly. The Parn didn't have access to the same metals as the rest of the ship, but the Parn are confident that the metal they were using for the repairs had similar enough qualities that it could work. Going forward the ship was almost complete.

" my abilities are that of disease and viruses." Nanautzin said holding his hand out and a small spiky sphere of a virus appeared floating above his hand. " my abilitiesallow me a wide arrangement of possibilities from a devastating cancer to altering the DNA of mortals with a virus. I haven't used my abilities on a fellow immortal so I'm not sure what would happen." Nanautzin said watching the others.
