Fantasy No Mortals (Accepting new characters!)

Acantha turned the chair around to face cat and assumed the casual position puting an arm on the armrest and resting her head on a hand. "well i am pretty pale, probably something to do with how i was 'born' differently. genetics and stuff?" so her power is light, and its destructive. should've brought her to the fleet for indoctrination but we wouldnt have met the other two! "nothing to do now but sit and wait" i wonder what this other persons abilities are..

Alex looked surprised to actually have received an actual apology. The few Immortals he'd met had all been quite arrogant, having played as Gods for far too long. He smiled "Sorry to have to restrain your ship" he said. He figured they could hear him in the ship using sensors or something. He flew a little closer to the ship, observing the substance that surrounded it "What is this? String?" he poked at it "It is really tough"

He shook his head "Anyway, I wanted to talk about your ship, it is interesting" he said "I almost never get to examine spaceships" he mostly spent time with Mortals who hadn't even progressed passed wagon technology. It was quiet and calm but he was interested in all the big engines of spaceships.

"How does it fly? Or how does it float in mid air? How fast does it go?" he flew around the ship as he spoke, tapping on the hard strings that wrapped around the ship. This string gave off a similar energy to an Immortal so he didn't particularly care about it, though it was blocking off his observations of the ship.

Acantha got up and peaked out of the holes "uh, i,m just a pilot so i don't know the in-depth parts on how it flies but it uses various rotating thrusters" she responded cheerfully. how can he see my strings? they're supposed to be invisible.. i'll have to test it out a bit more "the fastest it can go is 3000 kilometers per second. i believe" this new one is like a child that was given a new toy.. too many questions. "if you don't mind me asking how did you stop this ship?"

Nanautzin got his eye sight back a few moments later and he jumped back onto the ship as lightly as possible. " I hope you can forgive my reaction to all this." Nanautzin said scratching the back of his head, " I think I've spent a little too long in isolation in my temple so my social skills aren't the best." Nanautzin was actually kinda hurt when one of them called him scary man. He didn't think he came off as intimidating but apparently he was wrong. " Anyway looks like you're gonna need some repairs done. I can see if the Parn are able if you like." Nanautzin said putting any doubt he had aside. He probably was just too suspicious of everyone's motives since he's locked himself away for a few centuries. Though he was equally curious about. the craft.

Cat sighed with relief, they seemed to have forgiven her after her sudden outburst. She sat down on the chair and continued flickering her light, confused by the very fact of it's existence. "How does this even work..." She sighed before holding her hand in front of her a slowly increasing the beam of light, stopping right before it hit the wall. "Hey weird pale lady, come over here amd touch the light, I want to see if it burns or if it's just like some sort of energy" she commanded, listening to their conversation and hearing about some sort of string

Acantha instantly gave a look of disapproval, we could use this as a way to get used to the pain of fighting immortals touch touch touch! sighing she got down and walked closer to cat and began to touch it. "ow!" her finger jolted back, she looked at it and saw a scorch mark on it. "it burns." she confirmed, then looked at the old man. "there are still mortals alive?" she gave him a mocking/sarcastic look.

"Gravity" he said shrugging. It was also how he could see her strings. Everything was pulled by the flow of gravity. Since there were so many of them, he couldn't help but be aware of the strings "Everything is affected by gravity, so it is as simple as holding you in the palm of my hand"

"Rotating thrusters" he mumbled to himself "The speed is pretty good" he knew some things. Hyper velocity was pretty good for a space ship, just as long as they didn't hit anything. Going at that speed, anything that wasn't an Immortal or extremely tough would be vaporized the second it hit anything.

When she made the comment about Mortals still being alive, Alex smiled "Mortals are very resilient, they can live through a lot, even if a majority of them end up dying, it is very respectable"

Nanautzin sighed, " Plenty are left yes. It's was just a single city and it wasn't like I did it without warning. I left them a calender to mark when I would set forth a new plague and in the days of old they heeded that calender and survived, becoming stronger for it. However seems to me my little Parn have stopped evolving so I see it as my job to keep them on their toes and constantly improving." Nanautzin explained. It made perfect sense to him. The weak are culled to make way for the strong, but would the others agree with him? This was a perfect opportunity to see how others think.

Acantha glared at the old immortal but decided not to push the matter further. shrugging she walked to the cockpit. "These Parn are good at repairing i assume?" So now i am at the prescience of an biochemical immortal with a superiority complex, a man-child of an immortal that can control gravity at will and a newly awakened immortal that can burn things with light. they don't seem to be too suspicious of me, maybe i can find more immortals if i were to befriend them. tapping on the console she called off the backup. these immortals may be able help us find a greater power than the fleet could ever come across. i highly doubt that red thoughts. if we worked for both sides this could benefit us greatly.

"I'm not too sure actually. I tend to hibernated in between the plagues I unleash. Each time I wake they seem to have advanced their technology tremendously. I'm sure they will come to understand and repair your ship very quickly." Nanautzin assured the pale girl. " I know this may be rude of me but may I have your names? I would like to know what to call you if nothing else." Nanautzin said to all three of his visitors. He noticed the silence from the pale girl. Nanautzin took that to mean she didn't agree. At least the one who can control gravity seems to agree. No reaction from the girl who makes lights though.

Cat was too fascinated by her lights to even bother with any of the other three. Her mind was quite figuratively blown into little tiny smithereens. "How... Does this work... And how did I get it... In fact, why did I get it?! Gagh! It's all so confusing!" She muttered under her breath, standing up and moving towards her pale friend

Acantha glanced at cat hearing her mumbling due to the ship filled with strings. she turned the chair around to face the old man and cat. "my name is Acantha. whats yours?"

Alex suddenly grew quite serious and floated back, bowing to them "My apologies, I let my excitement get the better of my manners" he chuckled softly "My name is Alexander Q. Wake, born on a small planet in the corner of the Galaxy" even though he didn't know what made him act this way, he remembered to always be polite and courteous when announcing one's self.

"I manipulate all Gravity" he said "It is a pleasure to meet others like myself" it was certainly nice to meet other Immortals. Mortals were fun to hang around, but they didn't have the infinite lifespan of an Immortal, so any relationships made were very short lived to Alex. It was a bit sad, but that was his life.

"I am called Nanautzin. A pleasure to meet all of you." As Nanautzin said this the Park surrounded the ship on the ground and they seemed intent on looking at it. The city was filled with corpses of the infected and shriveled fleshy masses of the virus.

"Ah looks like they've come all on their own. Don't worry I'll make sure they don't take it apart or anything. Alexander my friend would you kindly lower us to them?"

@Trust @Petroshka @Seraph Darkfire

"Huh? Oh, my name is Fra- Cat, just Cat." She said, coughing oncomvincingly after realising they were all looking at her for her name. "How can you mass murder so many people so easily?! I mean, it's none of my business, all I really want is power, but... Even I have morals" Fran scolded the older man, who didn't seem to care about the miasma of death and disease he had wrought upon the poor mortals of their current planet

"I can mass murder as you call it with no problems because my morals are different from yours Cat. There was a time when I coddled and cared for the Parn. When I did everything I could to make them strong, but there is also a time when the coddling needs to stop. When you have children is it not best to challenge them rather than keep them safe and sheltered?" Nanautzin had long viewed the Parn as his children. Seeing as he was their for the birth of their species. "Anyway I've no problem with it because in the end I know it will make my children stronger." Nanautzin explained with a rather monotone voice.

"I myself often protect Mortals" Alex said as he manipulated his Gravity Spheres to lower the ship to the ground "However, I do not bother myself with their wars or personal problems, that is their choice" he sighed "Mortals are very impressive creatures, but they often see more than they can handle"

"If I tried to control everything they did, they wouldn't be a very interesting people" he chuckled "Let them do as they do, if they die, then that is all they were worth in the beginning" of course, he often let his personal feelings decide for him. That was just his way of doing things.

The old one doesn't just poison the body it seems. Be careful on what you say, things can go down the wrong path to our success at any moment. Acantha glared at Nanautzin with a seemingly neutral face. How old is this immortal and how long has he been doing these things? She then turned to Alex, this one is carefree. Too carefree.

"Idiot.. Why? You are just creating a mindless race who think of nothing but survival! They won't make any progress if you keep murdering them all before they can do anything. Besides, weren't we all mortal at one stage? Don't you feel any sorrow for their deaths?" Cat hissed at the virus man, her anger building inexplicably. She had no obligation towards those people, and usually she wouldn't have cared, but... She just felt like it was her duty to defend them

Dylan decided to look up what this Immortal competitions was while he traveled from the his "tour" planet to the Colosseum. It was fairly popular. Making it to the top 10 most viewed show throughout the Red Zone. With this publicity, his already known name would be heard among those who were not aware of his musical impact. With weapons acceptable, he worked non stop in modifying his tech to guns fit to use in the fight. He was quite proud of his ingenious inventions. Even more so when his team finished his new mask that would both protect his face and help him in the fight. Dylan never got to try out his new toys once the ship touched down and he was rushed off to the arena. The stage aid rambled on about his match starting in less than ten minutes and having to be at the curtain. If he wasn't so used to the chatter, he would have yelled for her to stop. Nevertheless Dylan complied and followed close to them until he faced a giant metal door.

A quick check on his pouches, gloves and guns capabilities and he was ready. A button was pressed and the metal mouth closed itself over his face. Not even a moment later and his "eyes" lit up. His surrounding was washed in a light blue and if he focused on an object, it became an accuracy target. And his ears had a few new capabilities so he needed all the one up he can get. They really outdid themselves. He could not praise them enough because the sealed metal door started to open.

It was time.

All the way on his planet, Loex shuddered. He wasn't the best when it came to sensing other immortals, might be because he didn't really travel much. The whole venturing forth and exploring the unexplored and seeing the unseen did have it's appeal. Yet, he was a relatively weak immortal compared to most. He relied more on frustrating and annoying enemies until they gave up or collapsed. On occasion he even persuaded them to spread his word. He was the Fleshlord, the Laughing Man. Getting off topic again, he just didn't usually interact with other immortals. What could he do? Flesh wings to explore space? What air would those wings beat?

Anyways, he could sense some mass grouping of energy sources. Enough of them together to allow him to actually sense them. What could it be? Amassing group to stop the celebration of twisted joy here? Tea party? Poker game? What would immortals eve- no, no. Off topic again. The main point is, this group worried him. So, the Laughing Man sat down, giggling as he placed a hand on his mask, ignoring the group of black robed men and women surrounding him. His cult was here, protecting their god whilst he was at new heights of energy. Maybe eventually he'll end up strong enough to be noticed by all.

"I'm not sure what you mean by that Cat. There's a good few centuries at least between the plagues I unleash on my children and of course I feel sorrow for their deaths, but if I can make them stronger if I can them smarter and more adaptable then as their father I have done all I can to prepare them for the universe." Nanautzin said his ancient eyes never leaving the two females in the ship.

When the ship touched the ground the Parn were surprised to see Nanautzin but then continued to strap the craft into a land vehicle and then it began to move to the nearest, functioning, city to begin the repairs. As they move through the city that was ravaged with his virus Nanautzin said, " Look at those buildings, at this culture. They have blossomed into a wonderful and prosperous species."

@Trust @Petroshka @Seraph Darkfire

"wouldn't the lost of life set them back? losing potential minds that could've advanced their culture farther than they themselves would have imagined." saying this made Acantha feel like a hypocrite. she herself has killed people and felt no qualms about it. but it didn't phase her, she looked at the Parn wondering how much struggle has slowed their development. tsk tsk

Nova entered the atmosphere in a fiery inferno, what could be compared to a comet, if a comet were to strike the ground at any given point. While she didn't make it to the ground as quickly as Husky did, her landing was a bit more showy than his. She looked about the area, the mist doing well to quell the flames of her landing for her. It was nice and cool, and while she didn't initially mind the cold, she found herself subconsciously turning up her own body heat to compensate, the mist that landed on her immediately evaporating in a fine steam.

At Husky's question, she turned back to him. "No, I've no clue what I am. Do you know?"

After walking inside the ship, there was no questioning how long it had been there. While the outside was only covered in a thin layer of dust, all of the ship's inner steel workings had rusted due to over-exposure to the moist outdoors. Making sure to avoid any of the more dangerous areas, Camira walked into what looked like the main hub. On the floor, GR..N..FL...ET could be made out in large, worn, letters. The small cockpit had what looked like too many buttons to actually use and a few LED screens. Definitely old fashioned. As she got near, the only working screen blinked to life. The image of a map slowly fazed into view.

On the small map, Camira could make out other planets close to her own as well as a lot of... activity. Another ship (indicated by a blinking dot on the map) flew towards a nearby planet, only to start shaking as if hit and then stop in midair. Not mentioning the strangeness of the planet itself, the now descending ship and energy that seemed to be emitting from that area was a great indicator of people nearby. Looking at all the buttons on the cockpit, Camira scanned for some way to send out a signal. Finally, she found a button that read "Ship Beacon".

Not quite sure of what would happen, she pressed the button. Immediately a blinking dot (indicating her own ship, she assumed) appeared on the map and a sharp beacon of light shot up from the top of the space craft. She could tell that it went at least higher than the clouds. Maybe even far enough to be seen from space. Camira stared at the screen intently, hoping that her signal had worked.
