Fantasy No Mortals (Accepting new characters!)

disease and virus's hmm, that could do a lot of harm to other mortals. that and add the fact that he can pervert this disease to mutate the victim into monstrosities adds to the danger factor. curious on what these abilities would do to a immortal though... she'd have to see him fight someone..., or herself. Acantha shook those thoughts for later making a mental note of how to classify Nanautzin. she looked at the jester again. "what about you? what are your abilities?" she couldnt really guess what it could be considering she just met him. he doesnt look very stable though. she wondered if she found someone who smiles as much as she does.

One of the Parn bowed deeply to the group of immortals and spoke in its native language. Nanautzin nodded and responded in the same language, " Your ship has been fully repaired. They had to use a different metal than what the craft was originally crafted from but they don't think it will hinder the ship in any way." Nanautzin told Cat and Acantha. " you are free to leave whenever. Though before you leave I would suggest you pay a visit to the Immortal Games. Only hosted every few hundred years and it's a good way to increase one's renown and combat strength." Nanautzin informed clearly intending to participate.

Acantha, already turning around to get in the ship looked at Nanautzin. "duely noted" and started to walk away. i can finally get away! she wondered if she should call in a extermination team. to eliminate these dangerous immortals. they are indeed strong and some are old. she remembered in a class 'the older the immortal the more experience they will most likely have the more experience the more dangerous'. but then she started to think, what kind of potential do they have to help me? perhaps if someone where to guess what i really am they might stand up to help if i were to gain their trust? she thought of the possibilities on how to do so, and soon decided to let them be until a moment arises when she will have no need for them anymore.

Acantha got into the ship and looked at the patched holes, it was noticeable but it seemed sturdy so she decided it was okay. jumping on the cockpit seat she leaned and took in deep breaths. she was for certain they would know where she came from, but then again. do they even know about the Grand Fleet? she tapped on the consoles and a map lit the screen again with the distress beacon still pinging away. "ship is repaired will come get you shortly" she typed and sent.

"This day keeps getting worse... First some weird old man with an obsession with creating the 'ultimate race'. Now a creepy jester looking guy! Acantha and gravity guy are the only people I even remotely trust..." Cat sighed as she wandered back on the ship with Acantha. "There's no damn way you're leaving me with these guys, not to mention I wouldn't mind taking a look at that 'Grand fleet' of yours" she mumbled to her, taking her seat back where it was and feeling slightly bad for causing trouble after discovering her power and destroying part of the roof of the ship. "Thank you!" She called out to the people of the strange planet

"eh-" Acantha quickly turned to Cat. maybe it was a bad call to tell her about the grand fleet. "don't talk about the grand fleet around people here, the people most likely dont know who they are but on the safe side i dont want them knowing 'kay?" she whispered cheerfully to Cat with a wink.

"Oh, umm.. Okay?" Cat mumbled, not exactly sure why she would have to keep the Grand fleet trip all hush hush but agreeing anyway. "You said you were born there, right? What's it like? And will they be kind to me?" The blue and green eyed girl whispered back, not even sure what the fleet was. For all she knew it could just be a small ship with a terrible name.

Acantha put a figure to her lips and looked up wondering about what to say. "its like a large mansion that moves around and filled with people. and they should take good care of you." But first i made a promise with someone. she gestures to the star chart and you see the pinging. "after we get to them i want to check out this 'immortal's tournament' the old one was talking about real quick then i'll take you to see The Grand Fleet!"

The Jester chuckled, dusting his outfit off. "Ah yes, my abilities. Hehe, I am a master of the Flesh. Playing as a puppet master or creating constructs, if I can mess with it's flesh, I can make it do what I will it." He giggled, raising a hand and twirling his finger. Itov quickly started spinning, and spinning, and spinning. I think you get the point. "Little demonstration on part of it." He snapped a finger and Itov doubled over in pain, clawing at his shoulder as the flesh shifted and expanded. He now had wings poking out his robes. "All merely demonstration, heh, no more."

the ship starts up and lifts off the ground. from the loudspeaker: "checking systems" the building tension Acantha was feeling was soon fleeting. relieved she leaned back on the chair as she checked if any major components were compromised. none, good. "the ship seems to be working fine! tell the Parn i am grateful for their help!"

Nanautzin nodded as he listened to the words of Cat and Acantha and relayed their thanks to the Parn. The Parn were so honored by their gratitude that they bowed deeply as the ship left.

"So I take it the two of you will be joining me in the games?" Nanautzin asked Alexander and the jester.

the ship blasts off and Acantha set the ship in auto pilot toward the ping. "Those were a interesting set of immortals werent they?" She tried to make small talk with cat as she typed away at the cockpit console.

"I believe I'll join ya. Hehe, been way too long since I've had a break. Itov, prepare the ship." He snapped his fingers as Itov awkwardly got up and shuffled to the odd tube ship. "Besides, hehe, I think this may be rather intriguing." Itov groaned inside the ship, adjusting himself to accommodate his wings.

"Well...I'm not much of a fighter, but it could be fun" Alex said thoughtfully as he waved at Acantha's ship as it left. It could always be interesting for him to see all the different abilities and maybe he'd get a deeper understanding of what an Immortal was by seeing so many together in one place.

He wasn't looking forward to fighting, he wasn't very strong in the attack department, though his defense was phenomenal.

He'd known about the Immortal Games, though he'd never found it necessary to go in the past. He'd been mostly busy living among mortals. Unlike Immortals, Mortals lived and loved life, because every day could easily be their last. Living among them had given him a strange appreciation for the change of time.

Since he'd experienced how Mortals spent their time, it was only fair that he did the same with Immortals.

In a small space station built to intercept far-off signals, orbiting the Grand Fleet and following behind in it's flight path, members of a high-ranking Recon Squadron discussed the appropriate plan of action when detecting a ping from a missing ship. After a short meeting, it was decided that their Vice Captain would command a small team and perform recon in the surrounding area.

Vice Captain Otrov sat on a pedestal, hands in his lap, listening to the ramblings of the squad captain, standing at a window with his back facing him. "I'm certainly not wasting my time on this, i'm sure you'll take care of it quickly, won't you Theon?" the Captain turned his head to the side, long blonde hair being tossed over his shoulder. "Perhaps it's yours?" he chuckled. Theon rubbed his forehead and motioned to the captain. 'If you were just going to shrug your responsibility off onto me, why did you make the others sit through a full-length meeting?' he thought to himself, deciding to keep quiet, as always. The captain had a dangerous temper, and it was usually a better idea to ignore his inflated self-worth. The chain of command was very important within the Grand Fleet, obviously. "Of course, sir. It won't be an issue." he leaned his head forward, allowing his cap to shade his eyes. "Just give me Smith and Arsonal".

Minutes later, Theon was in his personal space cruiser with the two other soldiers he had picked out, designed for quick movement, providing immediate backup to the main Squadron. In this situation, it would allow for fast mission completion, as the detected ping was not far back from their location. Sending his ship out full-speed, he laid back, waiting to arrive at the ping's location. In all honesty, he enjoyed these small-time recon missions, regardless of his Captain's condescending attitude in handing him this task. His abilities were more suited to working within a team, as he lacked the straightforward damaging power of other Soldier's abilities, he still found joy in spending time away from the Captain. He was something of an outcast within the Grand Fleet, he was probably the only one who thought so, but there was truth behind the statement. Vice Captain Otrov was absolutely dedicated to the Grand Fleet, but he did lack the intense bloodlust of many of his peers. He found this somewhat disturbing, to say the least.

"I didn't like any of them that much... One of them seemed to be torturing some monster with flesh abilities, it made me feel sick to watch..." Cat sighed, buckling her seatbelt once more and looking forlornly out the window, wishing that everything would become her definition of 'normal' for a change. Her only hope now was this grand fleet that she wasn't supposed to talk about

"Id say you're going to have to get used to that."

On the console she was filing what she saw and what she thought of the immortals she encountered.

MISSION REPORT:

During a scouting run into an unregistered area I found a newly awakened immortal, ignoring protocol I assumed I could use her to find other immortals, and I did. Soon after leaving a desolate planet we were on, we found a distress beacon. Upon arriving at said beacon we found a world being ravaged by a sort of monstrous plague. We soon found out this was the work of another immortal.

Upon seeing us, this immortal subsequently stopped the plague and welcomed us. We decided he was too dangerous to encounter so i called in an extermination team. While trying to escape we were captured by another immortal who was passing by. We landed and found out the plague immortal is the 'god' of this planets inhabitants. We were welcomed with open arms and another immortal joined the fray. It seems to have flesh abilities, able to control others.

This is my classification of these immortals I have encountered. I suggest eliminating them at a different time where as I found out there is a sort of 'immortals tournament' a large grouping of immortals and mortals to find out who is the stronger immortal.

Name: Cat

Powers: A sort of 'physical light' that can burn through hardened metal.

Class: A37

Threat: minimum

Notes: Although I've only recently seen her powers, they were particularly strong especially for a newly awakened. Dispite being a minimum threat she is particularly high in class for her potential to become stronger. Suggest a hitman to kill her.

Name: Nanautzin

Powers: Plague

Class: S44

Threat: high

Notes: He has a god-complex amongst the mortals of the planet he resides on. He has the potential of clearing entire residental sectors of the fleet within days, perhaps hours. Although whether these effects are harmful to immortals are yet to be seen. Suggest a small strike team to eliminate him.

Name. Alex

Powers: Gravity

Class S25

Threat: Very High

Notes: He seems to be a carefree immortal that loves other mortals. His potential threat is very high due to the fact that he can stop a fast moving scout ship with ease. He has the potential of possibly destroying an entire frigate fleet. These powers of his can also 'sense' my invisible strings letting him see. Suggest possible covert strike force to eliminate him.

Name: unknown

Powers: Flesh

Class B86

Threat: minimum

Although its powers are flesh it appears it is very limited. He has a possibility of making familars to help him in battle although those are easily dealt with otherwise i dont know too much about this one yet. Suggest a hitman to kill him.

Although I have broken protocol I have used my oppertunity to find more immortals and coordinates upon where they are. I suggest the grand fleet classifies me as a spy rather than a scout now. I am positive I can find more immortals for us to properly eliminate once attention has gravitiated us toward this area of space.

I also suggest a covert delivery of an Aether injection to further my information gathering abilities and increase my overall safety/survivablity.

I'm in a dark room full of consoles and people typing away, there sits a man upon the center of this control room. "So she wants a promotion to the intelligence sector eh?"

"Commodore, the high brass has already accepted Acantha's proposal."

"What?! Who!?"

"Vice admiral Petrovich sir."

"Damn, what are they thinking?!"

"She does have an outstanding record sir."

"I know but she was proposed to be an ambassador, but she refused that role and decided to join the scouts instead."

"Yes sir. Bu-"

He blocked out his coms officer as he thought. The moment he saw Her face he knew something was up, that infuriating smile and her way with words. She wasnt nick named the pale witch for no reason.

He remembered a rumor going around that she some how talked her 'friend' who also happened to be one of the best scouts he had that her husband was cheating on her which he wasn't, and convinced her to kill him. After finding out that he didn't she killed herself as well.

Now, rising so fast in rank, becoming an artificial after ONE mission. Indeed it was a dangerous mission but becoming an artificial was extremely strict even he wasn't an artificial, not that he wanted it. Next she becomes a intelligence agent on the field after her second mission of being a scout. There was something wrong with that woman. Like she was a demon all on herself.

"Sir we can't just ignore high brass's orders."

"I dont like this Jensen."

"Neither do i sir."

"Do it." He said with a sigh.

His everything told him not to let her gain more power, but he couldnt just have disobeyed orders, could he?

_______-

Upon seeing that the proposal was accepted, Acantha's smile only grew.

Nanautzin smiled as his old friend told his servant to ready the ship. " I'm going to meet with the Parn leadership before I leave. I need to give them the day for the next plague and check on their technology progress." Nanautzin explained before leaving the building for the large government building that held the Parn leadership. As Nanautzin walked through the street there was a mixture of fear and reverence, but all avoided the sickly immortal.

When Nanautzin entered the Government building he ignored all others until he got to the meeting chamber of the leaders. " My my.... last time I meet with the leaders it was in a hut but look at you now.... " the entire room fell silent as Nanautzin walked in. At his request the Parn told Nanautzin that the species was focusing on genetic manipulation to better come closer to the strength of Nanautzin. The immortal found this to be an interesting venture. If they became familiar with genetic manipulation they could change themselves much more freely to combat obstacles. Of course it would be one generation at a time.

Nova nodded. "I would be interested in meeting humans and perhaps other immortals," she stated simply, lifting her gaze to the skies. "I don't know what I want to do with my power, myself, but I think perhaps I'll find it the more I travel."

Vincent nodded, and suddenly his attention was drawn to a point in the sky. Odd, he thought. He could sense immortals. A large group of immortals, several light years away. For them to let their presence drift so far. "Do you feel that?" Vincent stood and let himself begin to float into the air, toward the presence. "I'm going. It seems there is a rather large gathering of Immortals. Follow me if you want to."

In a flash of lightning, he was gone. He had instantly rode the electricity out of the atmosphere and into space, where he launched toward the presence at full speed. Thankfully, with means of travel that only Immortals can use, it did not take several years for him to reach his destination. Keeping his presence locked within as he approached, he stopped just outside the atmosphere of a planet where he felt several immortal presences.

Slowly, he made his way down to the surface of the planet--- Right in the middle of the gathering of Immortals.
[Not exactly sure where everyone is, but from what I've read @Trust @Seraph Darkfire @SleepyBuddha @Loex Ibetink are all in the same area, right?]

Nova looked in the direction he had pointed out. "Yeah, I sort of feel that..." she stated. Sensing others wasn't her high point. Giving a leap into the air, she left a fiery trail as she exited the atmosphere of the planet they were on. Following towards the heat signatures of the others she felt, Nova drew nearer and nearer towards the group, until she eventually landed next to Vincent in the middle of the group. "Heya, what's going on?"

A large mass flew by planet after planet. It appeared to have a small tail but, more shockingly it appeared to almost have intelligence, sometimes it would fly as if it had a purpose. It would fly towards a planet but then, as if sensing something, would steer away from it.

Eventually, it shook, the being inside sensing a large amount of immortals and.. something else.. The Comet instead of shooting off, it started going slower, acting as if it was a normal Comet.

As the comet got closer to the planet with a large amount of immortals, they started to drift away but the comet continued on it's course.

Nanautzin had returned in time to see the entrance of the two new immortals to his planet. His talk with the Parn leadership went about as he expected. Though he was surprised they were beginning to do research in genetic manipulation. That was bound to be interesting. Nanautzin stood next to the jester and said, " I think my planet is becoming quite the party destination with how many immortals keep showing up." Nanautzin said with a chuckle whispering only to his old friend. Then he addressed the two new comers, " Welcome to my home world. To what do we owe this pleasure?" Nanautzin asked crossing his arms and looking them over. " We were just about to depart to the Immortal Games if you care to join us."

As Otrov travelled closer and closer to the ping location, he eventually noticed a second icon on his radar. Representing an active ship sent out from the Grand Fleet. He furrowed his brow slightly, wondering what business the other ship had, perhaps they were also investigating the lost ship? "We've got another ship in the area guys, looks like somebody's trying to grab our mission. Maybe one of the lower-ranking recon parties got a little too greedy." He smirked to himself. Either way, it should be interesting to see what they have to say, spending so much time out here without reporting in. "I guess, if they're still here, that must mean they've found something, other than an old ship floating through space. Might want to keep on your toes, team."

Loex stumbled as two more immortals showed up. Gods this was the most interaction with beings who were his equals or betters in terms of strength. One energy seemed to send a jolt up his avatar's spine, another seemed hot. The energy that is, not the avatar. Not that...you know what, maybe I should shut up before I wind up insulting this immortal...wait he's not technically speaking. Shut up me. No, you shut up. Itov groaned again, rubbing his wings in the tubular ship.

"Rather poor party in my opinion friend." Loex whispered back, shaking his head. "G'day ye newcomers. Mind if I ask what exactly your powers are? Hehe, I'd like to know how useful you may be." Poor manners, probably. Eh, doesn't matter.

@SleepyBuddha @Splat @Noivian @Seraph Darkfire

"Hello!" Alex said cheerfully as the new Immortals arrived. He was curious about these two. Flesh and Viruses were interesting to a certain degree, but these two gave off an elemental feeling. That was exciting. Plasma and Fire, that was the feeling he got from them. Gravity had a good relationship with those, especially when it came to Stars. He loved stars, warm and capable of crushing nearly anything.

...and if you destabilized their cores with a little gravity manipulation, the whole thing exploded in a beautiful shower of light and energy.
