FOLLOW THE LIGHTNING
Noa's helpful words helped to add additional ease to Anya's mind as she appreciated the kind words given with a faint smile on the edges of her lips. But that quickly shattered after Ryoma's next line of inquiry regarding the potential of an imposter. She knew that these... powers of theirs could take many forms. But that was one angle that she hadn't even bothered to think about until Bruiser had brought it up.
Anya's eyes widened at Ryoma's question, her face growing pale at such a possibility having occurred. "W-what?" she managed to stammer out, "That... there's no way. I KNOW it was him. Not just by looks but by his actions too... right?" She now found herself doubting her own memory and even her own ability to judge appearances. If someone had managed to not only impersonate Hitoshi but get past her as well, then what did that make her in the moment? She spared a glance over towards Suzerain who tapped the laptop before jumping back reflexively. As nothing happened in response to the outside stimuli, it very much could be said that this was a normal laptop through and through on the surface. However, it did stir the laptop from its sleep as a sound played to indicate that it was back on at full power again.
The screen came alive with a soft glow in between the crack of its keyboard and its monitor, meaning that it had battery life to spare. Anya returned her attention to Ryoma and sighed, "Fuck... what if I let a complete stranger into Hitoshi's room...?"
