Fandom My Little Pony Frontier

With a flap of her wings, Fang rushed over to Kadje. "Are you alright?" She carefully helped the alicorn from the bus, her eyes showing concern as she examined his injuries. "Just take it easy for a moment..." She looked back to the sky, finally able to see the pegasus from the night before. "Anda . . ." she breathed. The bat pony knew there was something unnatural to that pegasus, but for her to be the spirit. "Here," she passed a first aid kit to the injured stallion, "Patch yourself up, there's some medicine in there to help with the pain too."

Without waiting for a response, she took off again, flying up towards the pegasus. "Anda," she called out as she drew near.

Kadje's eyes widened when he found that she was no trapped maiden, but all too late. his magic shield shattered and he was hit with her blast. Disorented, Kadje couldn't stop himself. He hit the dirt at full force, feeling his bones creak under the impact. he was pretty certain he broke a rib or two at least. Thunder would be very upset if he found out. luckily the clouds hid his fall from view. He was motionless for about five minutes, but the prince managed to stand upon hearing his new mission. he bit his lip, the warriors went through this daily. the only difference between him and a war pony right now was a crown as far as he was concerned.

"No time for medicine. I'll go find her." Kadje groaned, taking off, searching buildings before realizing the building he was on the balcony of seemed to be prime candidate. he had to kick the door afew times to get it open but soon he was in the town hall.

"Shina? Shina!? Firecracker sent me. you there?" He weased, managing to raise his voice to a yell.

Shina's firery gaze never left Mayor Catchpenny as he moved around him. She was careful to keep her self between the mayor and Steelheart, not trusting him to get any where near her at this moment.

At Steelheart's yelp Shina took her gaze off the mayor for only a second to glance back at the flutterpony, making sure she was alright.

"I'm sure Lavender Moon won't mind being disturbed by her sister." Shina said turning her attention back to the Mayor. She seemed to be careful with her words, choosing to appear as diplomatic and polite as possible. At least for now, no point in burning the place down if she didn't need to. "Just point us to her room and we'll be out of your hair."

Anda spared a moment of her focus to face Shadow fang.

Perhaps it was the fact that she was the first pony she met sense taking this form.

Or perhaps it was her mutual disapproval of the mayor.

Or perhaps it was a moment of mercy, but she allowed her to approach her.

As the wind whipped her long hair about, tiny glints of lite trailed from her eyes.

Was this dread spirit crying?

Turning away she softly said-" go home mare. this fight, this land.. It is not your yolk to bare. "

Mayor Catchpenny Simply waved a hoof in dismissal, saying- " Oh my no.. I can't have you disturbing her now. No Steelheart on the other hand."

his head gesturing to try and look around Shina at Steelheart he said " If you would like to be with your sister, it would certainly make things easier for me. Busy schedule you know. there isn't much time left."

Steelheart cringed, and cowered behind Shina.

It was clear she didn't want the mayor to even look at her, but was helpless to even know where he was.

In a suave tone he asked " Now Steelheart my dear. what's the matter. Haven't I been good to you these months? A big house, The finest accessories and foods. Come now, lets all be one big happy family."

The mayor made less sense with each passing moment.

It seemed the spirit did remember her... good. Despite being a warrior that's looked into death's gaze and walked away, her expression was soft, saddened almost. "Anda, please," she said in a low voice, "I'm here to help you... Set things right and let you rest again. That's the role I was given. Kind of like how yours is to protect this place." Fang could only hope the spirit would listen to her. "There are many of us here that have learned the truth about what has happened. That this land wasn't given peacefully and was tainted by the mayor... We want to help you, please let us."

"Shina!" Kadje called, hoping whoever Firecracker's mystery girl was would speak up soon. he was beginning to really feel the pain from hitting the ground so hard. He then saw mayor penny catch and a.. dragon? that HAS to be her. "Firecracker said I'd know you when I saw you." He spread his wings out getting the feeling that Mayor Pennycatch wasn't near as nice of a pony as he let on. however now instead of penny catch being against Shina alone, he'd have to deal with the prince of time as well.

"Leave the blind pony alone. If you want to pick on someone pick on us. I'm not afraid to send you back to the paliolithic era!" Kadje's done took on an angry growl for the first time in his life. never had he raised his voice at anyone.

(going to take over the fight for now so @viska can focus on everything else but if you (@viska) want to narrate the fight at any time then go ahead.) The timber wolf was able to avoid the shadow tendril. Now in combat with the dog's attention on him Indicus prepared for the inevitable counter attack, sure enough it came when the timber wolf lunged going after his neck Indicus jumped out of the way then used the landing to spring another jump towards the wolf the wolf decided to meet the jump with once of its own slamming Indicus into the ground with it's greater weight.

A shadow tendril beat the timber wolf off of him and let Indicus go on the offensive, Indicus felt a pain in the back of his head and on one of his ribs but ignored it. He knew that the others were currently occupied and he had to keep the timber wolf's attention on himself to make sure that it would not attack the others. Thunder and rain could be heard around them still focusing on the town hall.

Indicus used a tendril to try to pierce the wooden ribs and kill it but that failed the beast somehow stronger then it's brothers but the impact did send the wolf off balance allowing him to smash at the ribs a few times and was rewarded with a crack. the wolf howled and then lunged at Indicus who could only bat the timber wolf away from his face in time to receive only a non-fatal jagged cut across the right side of his rib cage, causing Indicus to grit his teeth barely withholding a shout of pain. Indicus then noticed a pang of hunger and realized that he was using too much of his magic reserves and if he kept up the magic he could run the risk of the hunger distracting him too much or much worse. Indicus then prepared to continue his attack this time without magic.

sure!)

Thunder spun around to kick the wolf off Indicus as soon as he seemed to be even remotely getting an advantage, a massive dinner-plate sized hoof crashing into it like a cannon ball and forcing it to the ground and giving Indicus time to recover. "Most the civilians are out where's Kadje?" Thunder asked, giving the wolf a choice. attack indicus and meet Thunder's hooves or attack thunder and risk a bladed attack.

-----

Among all the lightening wind and other chaos outside the doors to the town hall suddenly blew open, causing Shina to flinch just a bit. Still she made sure to keep her self between the mayor and Steelheart, especially as he tired to peer around her to see the flutterpony. "Where she goes, I go." Shina said firmly, worry what this sly pony might have in store for her new friend.

The sound of her name suddenly drew Shina's attention. Seeing an alicorn rushing in to the town hall her ears shifted curiously wondering how he knew her name, till the stranger mentioned Firecracker. Her attention perked at the mention of Firecracker concern in her voice. "Is he alright?"

For a second her gaze shifted from the Mayor to the alicorn who'd entered to Steelheart, to the door. She felt torn all of a sudden. Shina knew she needed to stay by Steelheart and keep her safe, but she didn't know if Firecracker was safe, or if this alicorn could handle the mayor. In the past Shina had never been one to put her faith in a stranger, especially not with anything so important, but what choice did she have right now? "He's hiding the flutterpony Lavender Moon somewhere. I think in this building." She informed the alicorn before turning her attention to Steelheart. "Stay by my side, we need to go help the others." She informed the blind flutterpony before heading out the door, ensuring she didn't move faster then Steelheart could keep up.

Anda looked down at the destruction below seeing how desperately they all fought for each-other.

Finally with a direct response she said. " Do you think this is something so easily fixed?.."

waving a hoof around the clouds seemed to turn faster bringing Firecracker web of chaff and lightning higher and closer.

Stepping down on the lightning like a floor of light she went on to say- " Even if you could understand just what happened here.. It is too far gone."

Lowering her head anypony could tell that Anda, this immortal spirit was indeed in tears.

Turing back to Face Shadow Fang, her eyes full of bitter tears she spoke- " Do you know what it's like for a mother to see her child taken from her arms, ripped apart, and reborn as an abomination? The stitches of lies and deceit holding the rotten flesh of what once was a beautiful pure creature? Do have any idea how it feels for a grandmother to see her descendants driven to the winds? you know nothing of my pain!"

She was clearly talking about the land and the flutter pony that were born there in.

But the imagery, and tone she used seemed like she was speaking in a literal sense.

Lashing out in anger, Anda hurled an entire tree at Shadow Fang.

Surprised by this sudden intrusion The mayor took a step back.

Sighing and looking over at a grandfather clock he stated- " I really don't have time for this."

Giving a sharp whistle a dead silence filled the town hall.

This was quickly broken by the rhythmic pounding of footsteps.

These steps were far louder then any pony could make.

Finally a creature emerged from the hall way.

It was another Timberwolf, but this one was easily three times the size as normal.

"Kain here will show you the door. " The mayor joked as he began to head for the door.

Giving one final order he commanded- " I could care less what you do to the rabble. but make sure The flutter pony below lives. No demolishing the whole place understand?.. Good. Now I have to go catch the little runaways.

"That's all I needed to know. Firecracker is alright, You two go find Lavender Moon. I'll handle him." Kadje stepped tward Catch Penny. "Either lay down your arms or attempt to fight me. If you surrender now I might still beable to convince Celestia to spare you a punishment in jail for all eternity I-" The wolves caught him off guard... physical combat was so not his area... but he'd manage. "Time? I've got infinite amounts of that." He cast a spell on Catch Penny. He couldn't stop time on a living being forever but he could sure make a time loop. he set the loop for 15 times. each time Catch penny would walk ten steps, it'd send him back where he was to walk ten steps again... and again... and again. fifteen times. enough to slow him down to give Shina and steelheart a head start.

"Now for those nasty wolves." Ponies were one thing... non-animal beings were another. playing with time on a timberwolf would be not problem since it had no real heart beat or blood. He lowere his horn, crimson glistened around him as the wolf seemed to slow, the wood cracking as he did. He sped up the wolve's muscle movements, but slowed the movement of his limbs... meaning he was straining from within and building pressure. a clock face appeared between the two of them. "Now then... lets fix you back to a harmless sapling." Living things took a lot of energy to reverse time on. He began to turn back the hands of the clock and the wolf got smaller and smaller, so much so it was a simple sapling... for now. that only would last for about an hour.

"Thank you." Indicus said to Thunder after being helped out of a tight spot. Indicus then went on the offensive and ran towards it before tackling the beast. With the timber wolf held down he punched it's rib cage till it snapped then with a punch shattered the timber wolfs core. With the timber wolf dead and adrenaline fading he felt pain come full force on him. Indicus felt the burning of the cuts caused by the timber wolfs claw as well as pain in his ribs, and head and even the hoof used to destroy the rib cage and kill it hurt

The nimble flier was able to dodge the uprooted tree, only a few branches scratching and clawing at her scarred hide. "No, I can't say I've ever felt pain like that . . . " Even with being attacked, her eyes were still soft. They gave off the faintest glow in the dark storm. If there was any chance of helping the spirit to be at peace again, then that would be her main objective. A more forceful sealing was an absolute last resort that always did more harm than good for all involved.

"That said, I do know what it feels like to be betrayed. To be lied to, used, and tossed aside like you were nothing. And . . . " her gaze shifted down ever so slightly. "I know the pain of losing somepony precious to you." Fang's gaze met Anda's once more. "I know it's nothing compared to what's happened to you, what you've seen done to something you love..."

"You rest. I'm going to go find Kadje. did she say she was upset that we built on the land?" Thunder asked. letting Indicus lean on his shoulder to rest."I have an idea!"

Indicus shook his head "No can't, I have to protect Steelheart, I made a blood promise, something I do not take lightly." Indicus then entered the town hall and searched for Steelheart ignoring the timed looped mayor and crushing the sapling under his hooves without noticing. each step hurt and his body protested but he intended to make sure Steelheart was safe.

Once outside Shina gave a shake of her head at all the chaos going on around her. Realizing just how irritated she was growing she glanced back at Steelheart. "I'm going to make a ring of fire around you, to protect you while I fight. Don't move from this spot." She instructed before stepping away from the flutterpony. As she did her antler like horn glowed as a ring of fire suddenly shot up around Steelheart. It was likely the flutterpony would feel the heat of the flames, though they were not close enough to harm her. Shina simply stepped right through the fire as if it were not there at all. When she emerged on the other side however, she'd changed drastically, and not just in demeanor. The red fur of her mane and tail now looked to be made of fire, and her once fuchsia eyes now looked to be balls of fire flickering with in the sockets of her skull. Giving an angry snort smoke left her nostrils as those deadly eyes turn their gaze on a near by timber wolf.

Her horn still glowing the closest wolf to her suddenly caught fire, it's wooden body easily burning in what would likely be a gruesome death if someone didn't put the poor beast out. Her gaze then turned to the sky overhead, searching for who or what was causing this storm, ready to burn who or whatever was causing this mess.

by now the time loop spell on penny catch had probably worn off... Kadje was running out of steam. he was weasing in pain. Thunder had followed Inicus in and found Kadje bruised and beaten badly... with a fumbling sapling timber wolf. "Kadje. Are you alright." Yeah... I'm fine. I-I just C-" With that he felt over. his lungs weren't working the way they should. the impact had broken his ribs and his lungs couldn't function like usual. as he collapsed the Timber wolf came back to normal. still burning for Shina's spell and Penny catch was indefinatly free from Kadje's spell. Thunder stood protectively over his fallen prince. rearing and slamming hooves into the monsters face before whirling around and delivering two hard kicks with both hooves to the creatures wooden skull, cracking and splintering the wood.

Indicus ran over to Kadje and once more prepared a healing spell this time with his dwindling non-regenerating reserves. Knowing it was a collapsed lung Indicus first set and mended the ribs to their correct place then went onto repairing the damage to the lung. Moments later he ended up being successful but his hunger intensified. With Kadje once more able to breath he left in search of Steelheart once again.

-Back down the road in the streets-

As the others had long left, Firecracker struggled to stand.

His ears still rang from the loud shot he fired to slow down the lightning.

His eyes struggled to focus from all the blur and spotting.

Regretting his rush job he joked " worst.. Shot.. ever." as he trudged down the road.

In the distance, he could see what looked like a pony on fire.

Trying to rush over, he collapsed under the wait of his cannon and his poor equal-Librium.

-In the skies overhead-

Anda looked at the bat pony with a deep focus.

The otherworldly glow from her amber eyes fading back to a more normal state.

As she seemed to calm down a little, so to did the storm.

While thunder still roared overhead, at least it was no longer a hailing bolts of death.

When she finally spoke, a strange echo encircled Shadow Fang. " Empathy.. "

Looking over shadow fang, she saw the scars of the past, both physical and emotional.

Lowering her head, perhaps showing another twinge of mercy she spoke again.

" Perhaps..you do have some idea of my pain..Sweet Filly.. yours to is a pain that should never have been."

the glow returning to her as anger again curled at her lips.

Her voice no longer echoing, it boomed from her moth as she shouted "But even if you knew everything, how could it ever be set right? I will level this abomination and all the sinful creatures within it!"

With the last word being punctuated with a fierce gust of wind That pushed Shadow Fang meters back.

-Within the town hall-

Mayor Catchpenny shook his head in confusion.

He couldn't quite figure out what had happened but he knew somehow some time had passed.

It was the only way to explain his precious pet being destroyed and all the new pony suddenly being right in front of him.

Looking around, he sneered at both the mess and disruption of his plans.

Trying to run, he raged-" No no no! "

Bumping into the giant thunder he went on "This isn't right! this isn't fair!"

It was clear he was so deluded that he cared more about his twisted plan then the safety of the town.

For the time being Shina simply stood watch, ensure no one she didn't trust came anywhere near Steelheart, the mayor especially. As she did her fiery gaze saw a familiar figure approaching in the distance. Seeing Firecracker collapse the fire on her mane and tail suddenly flickered out back in to that red and orange fur the fire in her eyes disappearing with a single blink. She gave one quick glance back at Steelheart, seeming to decide she'd be ok if she stepped away for just a few seconds.

Rushing over to Firecracker Shina glanced him over for a moment, noticing the heavy cannon on his back. Her gold horn glowed for just a second, a very fine and precise line on the strap that held it on burnt away to cause the strap to snap apart. She was careful to contain the burn to just the strap so that Firecracker would feel little more then a mild heat where it was against his body. Unstrapped she reared up on to her back legs using her front hooves to shove it off of him. "Firecracker?" She spoke softly as she returned to all four hooves. Leaning her head down she nudged the side to encourage him to stand. "Are you alright?"

Indicus started going through the manor halls looking for Steelheart if a door was not unlocked he simply broke the lock and entered anyway never having noticed that she was outside.

As the cannon fell off his back, Firecracker coughed and sputtered.

At first he gave no response, but after being nudged by Shina his eyes began to flutter open.

His pupils finally began to focus, and his hearing had partly returned.

Finally able to hear something over his ears ringing he heard her ask " Are you alright?"

Slowly and shakily he stood saying " Shina.. Sorry i'm late. "

coughing up smoke and a small amount of blood he added " But I think.. I think I'm on to something."

He motioned his head over to a shell that was tied to the end of the cannon.

It had small bits of paper on tied to it with carefully braided rope.

Each slip of paper seemed to contain passages from old unicorn poetry and prayers.

And the largest piece had the same crude drawing of the phoenix from above his door.

Reaching out a hoof he pleaded- "But first we have to get you somewhere safe. Things have gone crazy."

-In the manor-

As Indicus stormed the building, Mayor Catchpenny could only desperately shout from the main hall- "This is privet property! you can't do that! your fired!"

But it was when he smashed open a door with an excessive number of locks that he noticed a stare case leading down into darkness.

Her job's forced her to fly through some of the worst storms the world had to offer, but even they didn't compare to the power of an enraged spirit. Fang tried to regain control in the harsh wind, but there was nothing she could do before she was sent crashing through the thin wall of a building under construction. Even with armor the bat pony felt one of her wings crumple on impact. The jagged bones tearing through the thin membrane as she rolled across the rough floor.

Everything hurt and her vision blurred as she tried to push herself back up. Her legs gave out from beneath her and everything went dark.
