[Deadly Darkness]

Lila had absolutely forgotten about class. She was simply walking around to move her tail, but then she got sidetracked. She had never really ditched a class before. She swore at herself, but looked back at the two; there was nothing she could do about it now. She laughed softly at his motivational speaker remark. "I suppose it was a bit dorky." She looked to Alex in surprise. She didn't really consider him someone whose anger could cause that much damage. She had never seen him before, let alone mad.

Sorren subconsciously contorted his face a bit in disbelief, Alex was known as almost an obnoxiously happy person so the news of him destroying something so violently was unexpected. "Well at least it was the punching bag and not the person whom you tore apart", he joked. Sorren then looked at Lila with the same look of disbelief, "Just a bit dorky, come on...", the hybrid smiled.


Sorren looked around again, just standing in front of the school was getting a bit boring, he wondered what Alex and Lila did for fun. As he thought about that, his thinking was disturbed by the sound of the bell going off, signalling the end of the latest period. "So what do you guys do for fun?", he questioned with a mischievous smirk on his face.

He smiles at the mention of what he did for fun and he chuckled "Well I do know of this special place, where we can swim, and chill out in the sun. If you guys want? I was planning on having it be a little celebration after tongiths game but I can let you two in on it." He said with a smirk "It will be fun."

She laughed once again at Sorren's comment. He was quite eloquent. Obviously he had more interaction and social skills than Lila, and possibly Alex as well. She always wished she could be as good as they were with words; to weave them into intricate webs that caught the attention of people nearby. She shrugged at his question regarding fun, but Alex's idea sounded enjoyable. "Well, it'll depend on the temperature of the water, but it sounds fun. I haven't been swimming in awhile." She figured the question of the temperature might be the make or break of that idea.

Sorren's grin widened, anything but going back into school sounded great to him and he was glad that Alex and Lila didn't mind skipping class as well. "Now that is what I'm talking about, I'm in. I could do with chilling out and I haven't been swimming in forever". Sorren rubbed his hands together in anticipation, Sociology wasn't his favourite subject anyway so he didn't mind the slightest missing it; plus a certain someone he would rather avoid is usually in that class. When Lila mentioned the temperature Sorren contemplated that Alex's special place could have water that was either freezing cold or like a hot spring. The hybrid would much prefer the latter.

"Well, there is a special area over there, behind the waterfall, the waters as warm as can be." He smiled to her and held out his hand for her to take "Senorita, if you would come with me." he said with his Hispanic accent and a playful wink 


He then looked to Sorren and chuckled "Glad I can be of assistance to you."

She let out a soft laugh and took his hand. Her skin was much cooler than his, and she enjoyed whatever warmth she could absorb from him. This would be fun. She had done anything with a group of people in quite sometime. "Let's get going then." She tried her best to contain her excitement as they began into the wooded area. The temperature was much cooler under the shade of the trees, but she let her excitement and the thought of the heated water keep her slithering through the dirt.

Sorren internally cringed at Alex's remark, he still had to get used to how friendly he was. Externally though, Sorren smiled and half-nodded at Alex, "I would race you there but unfortunately I don't know where it is...And I wouldn't want to upset you even more by winning", he jested as he got ready to follow Alex to where his special place was. Just chilling sounded like heaven to him so he was happy he wandered up to the pair.

He smirked as he lead the two of them to the waterfall area from earlier. It was nice and beautiful, open, rocks to jump off of, a massive pool of water leading into a river.


He smiled as he lead the two of them to the waterfall and behind it, through a small gap between the water and a open area, then a little into a cave where a blue light eminated, there was a small pool of water, about 10 feet wide and 20 feet long, the water had steam coming from it and he took his shirt and shorts off and hopped in with only his bathing suit,his scars exposed once again, his muscular body shining in the water even though it only went up to about his waist and he held his hand out to Lilia "My lady." He said playfully waiting to help her into the water

As they reached Alex's special area Sorren was a bit taken aback by the beauty of it, he had no idea that somewhere so magnificent and tranquil had been hiding not too far from the school. Sorren suddenly came to the realisation that he had no swimming trunks as he saw Alex get into the water in his, "Who carries around swimming trunks?", he questioned to himself with a confused look - Sorren assumed Alex must come here pretty often.


Sorren thought about just stripping into his boxers and going into the water but then he came to the conclusion that he wouldn't have anything dry to wear afterwards. Sorren sped off without saying anything, he ran into the town and found the nearest clothing store and brought a pair of simple black swimming trunks. The whole trip took him about five minutes, including the time that he got changed in the changing rooms of the store and placed his other clothes in his bag. Sorren had a nice body even if he said so himself, his muscles were toned and defined from going to track and working out. He prided himself on his appearance so not only were his clothes stylish but his body was well cared for.


When he returned, the hybrid instantly got into the warm water of the small pool that was illuminated by a dazzling blue light. He slowly submerged his body into the water and exhaled, the heat of the water felt great and was beyond relaxing. He felt like some of his stress had been lifted away along with the steam that emanated from the water. "This is great..." he uttered calmly as his muscles seemed to loosen. Sorren looked between the two and then splashed them both slightly, "Oh sorry, I thought you had something on your faces", he jested with a smirk of mischief.

 Azalea distantly heard the bell ring, and she knew 5th period had started. Despite skipping it, Azalea couldn't help but feel disappointed. She liked Sociology, but she felt too overwhelmed to attend class. Azalea felt serenity in the wood, and her temper calmed. 


The peacfulness of the woods and the wildlife noises allowed her to think clearly. She needed to deal with Sorren. The thought of being pinned against the wall or having her life force drained weren't pleasant thoughts, and he came dangerously close to discovering Keeper and her family's fate. 


Azalea pulled out her phone and called up Cat, not saying anything else then it was urgent and they needed to meet in the woods. Azalea searched for their hideout until she found the rather barren area, walking over  to where a hill became steep and where Cat impatiently waited, leaning against the  large rock formation, the sound of rushing water sounded distant, a waterfall perhaps. 

 Of all the people, Azalea trusted Cat the most. Maybe even enough to call Cat a friend, her only friend. Cat's ticked expression dropped at the sight of Azalea's large bandage over her neck. 


"My god, Az what happened?" Cat exclaimed loudly, running over to Azalea and trying to lift up the bandage to see what was under it. 


"Nothing. I'm fine." Azalea responded coolly, flinching and stepping away from Cat so she'd stop touching her neck. Cat folded her arms, looking annoyed and angry. 


"It was Sorren wasn't it? You're playing games again, aren't you?" 


Azalea grinned a wry grin at Cat, walking down the hill so they were more hidden. "Of course. He's dangerous, threatening. I like him." Azalea teased, feeling like her old self when around Cat. Both girls chuckled.


Cat straightened out, looking at Azalea pace back and forth with raised eyebrows. "You called, I came. Watcha need?" 


Azalea spoke as she paced, her hands clasped together in front of her and she glanced at her scarred wrists, old scars aligning in a ring around her wrist. "Alas, Sorren got too close today, he's physically strong, is able to break off my tethers, and has impossibly heightened senses." Azalea said grimly. Few could break off her tethers but he could. She stopped pacing and turned to Cat. 


"I need a spell that'll put him in a deep sleep, long enough for me to know all there is to know about Sorren." Azalea said with a straight face, however Cat was no longer listening, her eyes transfixed on Azalea's wrists. 


"What happened to you're wrists?" She asked curiously, and harmlessly. 


"Nothing. Just got tangled up in some rope a while ago." Azalea snarled, suddenly angry again and Cat backed off, looking at her with raised eyebrows. Azalea felt a boiling sensation run through her, and she began to pace again. Agitated. The two girls began to discuss the spell and how to make use of it.

Hasan was struck by the kiss and felt like his whole life paused for just that moment. He could feel something coming from her lips...something magical but he couldn't quite put a finger on it so he just shook his head after the kiss and cocked his head to the side like a confused puppy. "Is that all you wanted Rhea...if so now where shall we go?" He questioned folding his hands behind his back gazing down at her. His eyes ran up and down her body examining everything about her physical form.

Lila's eyes widened in awe at the beauty. "It's breathtaking." she managed with a smile. They were then led into the back cave where the water shined a luminescent blue. She looked between the two boys with a blush. What was she supposed to do? She had nothing else to wear, but she had been looking so forward to swimming. Anxiously she grabbed the hem of her shirt and pulled it up over head. goose bumps formed on the now exposed skin as she tightened the straps on her black bra. There was no way she would be taking off her skirt so she left it on as she slithered carefully into the water. She held Alex's hand tightly, considering she had no feet there was no kind of traction she could get so she quickly slipped in. She grabbed a hold of Alex trying to keep herself up. She let out a nervous laugh before releasing him and sinking back into the water. The now heavy denim fabric of her skirt clung to her scaly body. She giggled at Sorren's splashing, returning a small splash.

Alex chuckled as the two splashed and he turned and splashed Sorren back and he smiled as he sat down in the water, leaning back as he sighedin releif "This feels good on my muscles....they are so sore...." He said in bliss, he was closer to Lila than anyone, although he didn't notice it his hand was close to her tail as he shut his eyes "I could sleep like this."

Andromeda jumped, turning and smiling at the stranger. "Sorry, what class?" She asked, then mentally facepalmed as she looked at the schedule. "Oh yeah, room 20-something, all of the 20-somethings are on the second floor."

Rhea chuckled, smirking as if she'd been successful in her spell-binding kiss. She looked around the room, crossing her arms in front of her and tapping her chin lightly. "I would like to be in my dorm, I think I need to touch up my makeup. You're welcome to come with, but don't feel forced to do so."

Luna woke up an hour later and crawled out of bed to get ready to go back outside. She put on her hunter-green blouse and black skirt, teasing her blue locks to make them appear fuller. Luna then left her dorm and walked outside to catch some fresh air, noticing that it was past her lunchtime.

Sorren let out a short laugh after the pair splashed him back, lighthearted fun was something he was okay with, he was constantly on guard so it was a nice feeling to be able to let go of himself a bit. He leaned back and folded his arms behind his head as he relaxed, Sorren sat with his eyes closed like this for a while just enjoying himself and wondering around his mind palace.


After some time had passed Sorren leant forward and took a deep breath in and exhaled calmly, savouring the peaceful atmosphere. He stretched his arms and cracked his neck before yawning, "You're right, I could sleep like this...", Sorren ran a hand through his wet hair as he looked towards Alex. "How did you find this place anyway?", he asked with a tired smile.

The warmth was energizing, but tiring at the same time. She sank lower into the water before letting herself slip under for a brief moment. Being underwater was always a pleasant experience: all sound was canceled and replaced with a full silence. It was strange; it wasn't like a hollow silence, but rather like pillows over your ears. She came back up and laid back against the rocks, cuddling close to their heated surface. She watched the two talk with a content smile.

Alex looked to Sorren after he asked the question "When I'm upset I like to go for runs, I was out for a run and I happened to find this place." He said truthfully and then added "I was exploring the waterfall when i slipped and fell into here, I continued to follow the path until i cam to this neat area." He said in a relaxed tone "Only two other people know of this place...."
