(Sorry! Was gone for most of the day watching Warcraft)
"Fire? Well, that's quite a talent!" Samuel exclaimed in a jovial tone.

Samuel was not fond of Gautama's illusions, but could tolerate it. Samuel sat down on what seemed to be a rock, and examined the others closely.

Samuel notes the crowd that has gathered, all a bit off. A teen wearing a strange dress, a shy girl in a hoodie, and a man wearing some very "gentlemanly" clothing.

Sam, in response to this observation, looked around to see if anyone was staring, but decided that making such judgement in this illusion would be a waste of time.

(cry, apparently a woman wearing some peculiar clothes wasn't enough to make it on the list ;- ;)

Aside from telling Autar how much she enjoyed his show, Colette opted to stay quiet most of the time. She was nursing her drink and some water, watching the events before her unfold. They were amusing and quite interesting, and much different than how she would normally spent her nights. She was tempted to jump in a few times, but it seemed like everyone was able to handle things on their own. And she had done a lot of talking today; she wanted to relax a bit and enjoy her third drink. The last one, she promised herself.

When Gautama released his magic she smiled and giggled; it really was beautiful, and powerful. She wondered if he would get annoyed with her if she asked him to do this for her sometime in the future. That's assuming he'd be alright with seeing her in the future. She decided to ask him.

"So, Gautama. Would it be alright if I dropped by the temple sometimes after work to say hi? I could always show you around the city a little!" Colette grinned, her face slightly flushed from the alcohol.

@ erryone, because there are a ton of us here right now and I don't feel like listing them all. xD

The illusion didn't make the magician feel clam. I mean it was trying, please its heart, but the magician resisted it. Maybe out of his nature. He never did relax around people. "Hmm interesting" Autar said in a monotone voice. He knocked back another drink. "Well I must confess you are very smart, I'm mean you I've never had someone play with my pride before" He said to Lucy, a sinister and sarcastic tone to his voice. "I don't think I could join you group, after all I don't think I'd be very good at imposing my will on people" He said with a smile.

Gautama brought his hands together and released the others from his Nirvana spell before he answered anyone. Looking to Colette first he said with his usual smile, " Of course the temple will always be open to you. Feel free to come by anytime, and I extend that invitation to all of you. Should you need a safe haven my temple doors are open. I would enjoy seeing the city with you thank you Colette." Gautama said before looking to Auter, " I am glad you found the experience interesting. My magic seems to be a much more powerful illusion based magic that can take over and change all 5 senses to change how a person perceives reality." Gautama said to everyone as he didn't want to hide anything.

"Whatever, you stick to confusing people who don't know better magician and I'll stick to making the world a better place" she growled at him, feeling quite tired from even speaking to the man. "You can be a right pain in the ass when you want to be..." She muttered under her breath, hiding it underneath a yawn. She stood up, finished her glass of water, said "I need some fresh air" and walked out, sitting on the step leading into the small building

Wynter remained additionally quiet when a girl named Raven introduced herself. After giving a smile of thanks for the offer of water from Lucy, she sat beside her while observing the girl as the group continued on the conversation within the illusion that Gautama had brought up with his magic. Personally, she preferred to not mention anything about her magic, not when they were no in the building for the magic council. She wasn't sure whether the girl was an enemy or not. At the very least, the girl wasn't completely oblivious to magic, since Raven admitted herself able to use fire. An unknown stranger, who had the power that Wynter would be vulnerable against, anyone would be a fool to mention about her magic there.

There was no point in pretending that she could just be a normal human, Wynter turned to Lucy. "And what would make the world a better place?" she asked.

(I'm kinda outside)

Wynter said nothing while the group conversed and introduced themselves to the girl named Raven. She merely slunked closer towards the shadows in the club with the water she had. Not knowing whether Raven was a magic council member, she was about to just lie about herself being a normal human, until the girl mentioned she was able to use fire magic. Her very weakness. She made a mental note of the girl just as she exited following Lucy out of the Oyster club after giving a polite nod to the others.

Lucy seemed rather irritated enough from her conversation with Autar earlier. "Lucy, I have a question." she asked as she walked half a step behind her in the street. "What would make the world a better place?" she tilted her head.

"No more fighting, no world hunger, lovely lives for everyone. You know, all that impossible stuff people expect magic to fix" she sighed. "You trust me, right..? Cause if you do, i have a little something to show that very few people have seen" she continued, patting her softly on the back. "You remind me of a little sister i never had, silent but not shy, follows me around and asks questions, people like you are the people i want to keep safe" she smiled

The magician finished yet another drink. As he did so one of the staff members whispered something to him. Whatever the staff member had said, it had brought a smile to Autar. "If you will excuse me, actually don't you have something to talk to us about" He asked Samuel. "I mean you did make that signal, oh but as I said I have business to attended so perhaps you can fill me in when I get back" Autar said before walking. Meeting with the manger he received his rather large paycheck as well as an rather nice broach. The manager said it brought good luck. "I doubt I'll need it but thank you anyway".

(dang it, why didn't my response send... T_T)

Wynter nodded, though within her she questioned how feasible it was. She was additionally quiet and attentive when she heard the seriousness in Lucy's voice. She reminded her of a little sister? Wynter suddenly found great interest in her shoes, as her cheeks went pink. Not from being shy, but more of happy that it seemed that someone cared about her just like family. "I... I would be more than happy to have someone like you as my sister." she said as she edged a little closer towards Lucy. "I... do trust you, because you won't use magic in the wrong way." At the talk of using magic, her eyes flicked towards around them. Hopefully nobody heard that. It was rare for her to be talking with another magic user. "Speaking of that... what did you think of Raven?"

Gautama sat and listened to the others for abit until he realized the time and quickly got up, " Please excuse my abrupt absence but I have duties I must perform at the temple. Buddha smile upon you all." Gautama said bowing to everyone before quickly leaving the bar and allowing himself to perceive reality normally again.

Gautama had spent too much time away from the temple and missed afternoon meditation. He would have to make up for that by meditating well into the next morning then continuing his normal duties.

Raven herself had disappeared amongst the talking, slipping away to look closer at a poster for the magic show. So that one was the magician... The dark haired girl turned away, pulling her hood further over her face and retreating. She had always wanted to meet others, people like her, but they werent. They used magic, but their magic was beautiful and created new things. Hers only destroyed.

Raven went outside, sitting down on the curb and lighting a cigarette. She liked them, the breathing they made her do calmed her down. Her eyes raised up to the sky as she let out a puff of smoke.

Samuel was about to yell something at Autar, but by the time he found the words he wanted, Autar was already gone.

It seemed everyone was getting ready to leave, though, so Samuel left the bar to head home for the night.

He saw Raven sitting on the curb, smoking.

Samuel noticed something about Raven. She didn't have the pride about her that the others had. She seemed distant.

Samuel sat down on the curb with Raven, sitting a couple of feet away.

"So, you use fire?" Samuel said in a tone more quiet than usual. "Fire's always interested me."

"It is one of mankind's greatest tools. It keeps us warm. It cooks meals. It purifies water. It scares away predators. Even today, we still use fire "

Samuel shapes the energy around him to make a tiny ember in his fingertips, barely visible.

"Fire and people are very alike. They are destructive, and cause great harm. However, with guidance, both can achieve great things."

The girl jolted slightly, looking down at the burning end of her cigarette. "Yes... We use fire to destroy and kill. That's all it's good for. Fire burns, there's nothing kind about it. No matter how you look at it, fire is nothing but evil... Guess it goes well with humanity, huh?" Raven took another long drag to calm herself. "Sorry... I'm ranting... I don't talk to people much..." She twisted the cigarette around between her index and middle finger, brown eyes not moving to look up at the other person.

Follow me, i have something to show you that must be kept secret" she gently took her hand and led her a short distance away, out of sight from the streets. "I'm just a little embarrassed about this so don't judge if you wouldn't mind" she mumbled before shifting into an small cat, given it was small, made sense that you would find one in an alley, and easy to shift into. She changed back again after a few moments and pulled her clothes on again, her face also a bright pink. "I.. Uh... Sorry about that, I keep forgetting about the whole clothes thing..." She muttered and awaited her response

"No problem. It's nice to talk, though, isn't it?"

Samuel pauses for a moment, playing with the ember.

"Raven, nothing is destroyed, nothing is created, things just change. Maybe for the worse, maybe for the better, but change is inevitable, you cannot deny it. The question is, do you accept the change? Do you accept all the changes in your life?"

The ember Samuel played with turned into dust, blowing away in the wind.

"We should talk more, in the future. You seem to reject your ability, your power. It will be good for the both of us. If you truly see yourself as doing only wrong, this could be an opportunity to do right."

Raven tensed at the mention of her power, quietly taking snubbing out the cigarette. It had burned out a while ago, but she couldn't put it down until now. "... No. Things do change, but some things only change for the worse. I don't mean to be rude, but you don't know me. You have no clue about... What I did..." She took a shuddering breath at the memory, holding herself tight as if the thought had sent shivers through her. "If you did, you would know why I reject this power... Myself... Because all I cause is despair wherever I go. And I always will. That, will never change."

The dark haired woman stood, pulling her hood back up over her face. "Nothing right can come from this power, this... Curse. Nothing you say will make me think differently, but I compliment your effort." Raven started to walk away, stains of tears rolling down her pale cheeks.

"Maybe I can't convince you that this is a gift," Sam stated, walking towards Raven, "but I can still help you in some regards."

Samuel looked around a bit, then, a bit shyly, asked,

"Do you happen to have any small articles of clothing, like a wristband, or a sock? You see, I can imbue it with some energy, and it will mask your powers, although by a very small amount. Perhaps enough to prevent outbursts."

Samuel then handed Raven a sheet of paper before she could answer.

"This is my number. Call me anytime you need help. Please, keep this. If not for yourself, then for me. We can learn much from each other, and maybe eat some pizzas and have a nice chat."

Raven turned back, quickly wiping her tears before he could see them with the back of her hand. "What..." She looked down at the paper, hesitantly taking it. "Tch... Pizza and talking? What, do I look like a little teenager...?" But, she smiled. After years of sadness and being alone, Raven managed a real, honest smile. "...thank you..." The girl looked up at him, her eyes flashing red before returning to the color she forced them to be. "I don't know what you want to learn from me... But, if you really think I'm worth something, anything besides destruction, than I can only trust you until I prove you wrong, can't i?"

Captive animal. She wondered what Lucy had meant by that. That she was bottling up dangerous feelings and might lash out? Or that she was currently very constrained in her abilities? Wynter didn't have the chance to ask as the other girl pulled her by the hand. Her fingers curled around the elder girl's hand as well so that the hold wouldn't loosen. She was completely unaware of what she was going to show her. "Oh..." was all she replied for a while, blinking at the cat before she turned back to a human. "That's alright..." she murmured as she looked down, not wanting to be invading one's privacy while they put on clothes. "Does it get very troublesome?"

"The nakedness..? I try not to use my ability except for emergencies so... yeah, you are now among the few people that no about my magic, keep it a secret will you?" she smiled, happy that she could talk to someone without having the secret of that forbidden ability weighing her down. she walked over to her and patted her on the shoulder as a friendly gesture. "I can pull strings in high places so if you need help, just ask!" she grinned

Wynter nodded."Ok, I won't tell others about it." She said simply while they left the alley. "Pull strings from the magic council? " She pondered for a moment. Perhaps it might be worth asking about lifting the restrictions on her magic seals, but that might wait a bit later. Perhaps when she feels she's achieved more. After all, winning in a battle didn't depend on raw magic power either. "Ok, I will. By the way, have the higher ups given us any new orders?" she asked, checking her phone again. With the confusion that the Urban Warlock's leader had spread, the council would definitely act sooner than later. At least that was her impression since she had joined.
