Futuristic Midnight Blue

Deluros eyes snapped open. An unfamiliar voice filled his ears. Yelling for Captain Lots it seemed. But didn't Leo have him taken care of? Well that could mean.. an intruder had boarded the ship. Maybe the Slave Masters have sent someone for Leo! I didn't expect them to be so fast.. Let's just hope I'm wrong. Deluros open the door and ran towards where he heard the shout.

He hid behind a corner and picked his head out. He was right, it was an intruder. Should I inform Annabelle? No.. it might be too late. Killing him right now would be smart. Agh! I'll just wait it out.

"I did say that during my rant, however I think I'm not ready for this sort of thing yet." Leo replied as he looks the other way. "I don't know what it's like to lose your family members like that, but I hope they rest in-" Someone suddenly knocks on the door asking for Captain Lots. The voice wasn't from the three other passengers onboard the ship, which worried Leo to a great extent. He grabs the pistol he left on the desk earlier before pointing it at the door. Maybe this time he'll be able to shoot straight at whoever came bursting through that door. "I think you're on the wrong ship, sir!" He announced to the unknown passenger. "This ship belongs to Anna- I mean Captain Vakarine, the most notorious pirate captain in the universe! Now state your business or else I'm going to shoot you in the face! Umm... sir!"

The falia's head twitched a little as he heard someone's footsteps approaching rapidly, but paid no further attention once he received a reply. "I believe you are mistakes. This is the Five Eight Afrasee. I talked with the engineer earlier." Draven said calmly. "I just want to talk with the captain. The REAL CAPTAIN." The Falia put extra emphasis on the last two words to let whoever was in there know his intentions. As a precaution for pirates he drew one of his custom/modified colt revolvers and locked back the hammer.

Delores frowned and whipped out his sword and moved towards the man in one swift motion. When he stopped, the sword was at the man's neck. He seemed to be a Falia of some sort.

"Who are you, and why are you invading Captain Vakraine's ship?

"Captain Lot...." Annabelle echoed like she was in deep thought "I can't say that I've ever heard of him." She finally said with a shrug as she started to tie the bandaging around her eyes again "it could be possible that you have the wrong ship. This one is the same model as the ship you speak of, but I'm pretty sure its called the Evening Star." She said with a definite not "yeah. Definitely called the Evening Star." She was oblivious to the violence about to occure, but even if she wasn't she still wouldn't do anything about it.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying here with someone I know." Lots said as he sat down afraid of the pirates up above. He gazed at her. At her hands, her legs, her arms. She glanced towards him and then felt a chill go down her spine.

"And what pray tell are ye lookin' at?" Solace felt uncomfortable. "Arr, forget ye. I'm headed to da kitchen." Solace said, as she stood Lots grabbed her leg causing her to fall. "What da devil! Ye be breaking da code of conduct! Ye fool!" Solace shouted using his weight against him. "Get off!" Lots quickly grabbed hold of one of her guns. She softly smirked. "Heh, go ahead Lots, tickle me pink why don't ya." She realized he had grabbed her decorating gun. His hands were still cuffed. He heard a cocking of some sort and then he looked up to that her gloves had a gun assembled to them. "What in the? What kind of contraption is that?"

Solace smiled deviously, "They're black hole gun gloves. With just the flexing of my hand they'll fire bullets. They don't shoot regular bullets. Once one of these bullets hits ye, ye die a nice death inside yer own black hole. Want a taste, Captain? They're my own invention."

"No, no lassie. That's quite alright. I yield." He pleaded tossing her decorating gun back at her. She deactivated her gloves and caught the gun, placing it back into it's location. "Come on now. To the kitchen we go, ye cannot be trusted." They made their way to the kitchen when Lots then forced himself on top of Solace. "NO!" She let out a scream.

"Can't use your fancy black hole gun if your hands are underneath you. Hah!"

As soon as the blade pressed against his throat, Draven's Falia instincts began to kick in. "Funny, I was going to ask you the same question." He said as he elbowed his unknown assailant right below the ribcage. He then proceeded to claw at his stomach after knocking the sword away from his throat while turning and aiming his pistol at his assailants head. "Now who are you?"

Deluros wasn't scared. He could tell by the way the man acted he was a hunter of some sort.

"I am the world's best swordsman, why?" Deluros raised his sword again and crossed it against his chest. He'd have to get the timing perfect if he wanted to win this encounter.

Clawed?]

"Why bring a knife to a gun fight? Even if it's a big one. Now about this title, is that self proclaimed or earned? And what world?" Draven teased, hoping to flare his opponents temper. The hammer of the revolver was still locked back and the special ammunition he loaded was asking to be fired. "Maybe we should even the playing field a little bit." The Falia suggested confidently as he released the hammer and bolstering his weapon. "Would you prefer a proper duel? I sadly do not carry a suitable weapon for such occasions."

"Your sarcasm suits you. About the weapons.. Kaku, white sword!" For a minutes, nothing was heard. Then Kaku came with a large sack and dropped it on the ground before flying away.

"Sword should meet the requirements. Its a standard rapier, with a white tinted blade. Good luck, because you will need it." Deluros carefully took four steps back.

"Thanks, but I don't rely on Fortuna." Draven said as he took up a proper position. Fencing was not one of his stronger areas, but all he had to do was parry and talk. His opponent could prove to be useful without letting him on to anything. "Now let's make a little wager shall we? I win, I am allowed to see Captain lots. You win, I shall be dropped off at the next port. Do we have a deal?"

Deluros wanted to laugh. This guy clearly didn't know of Lot's situation and who had control over the ship. He managed to keep a straight face though.

"You can start if you'd like." Deluros nearly held his blade, leaving all his vital organs exposed. He would wait for his ears to tell him when he lifts the blade.

"Alright. I'll take that as we have a deal." The Falia stated as he rose his blade to perpendicular to the ground. Draven knew he was most likely out classed in dueling, but he gave a weak feint to his opponents left shoulder to start the duel.

Without moving, Deluros quickly lifted his blade up to block it. It was like he knew the blade's movement before it actually moved. Deluros grinned wickedly.

"My turn." He swiftly moved his position to his oppenent's side and used the edge [non sharp part] of the blade to hit him with incredible strength.

Tell me if I start Powerplaying]

Draven recovered quickly, as his opponent knocked away a fake, allowing him to partially parry the blow, slightly reducing the amount of force Draven was hit with. "Nice trick." The Falia stated as he thrust towards his opponents right breast.

(Nope. Do you know the terms though: parry, feint, thrust, edge, flat, hilt, etc...)

Deluros quickly shifted his feet position and was able to block it in time. He quickly did a quick, powerful parry, not wanting to give him time to regain his balance from the block.

Kaku happily watched from atop a wooden box while eating garlic bread crumbs.

Draven was impressed with his opponents skill, recoiling as quickly as possible and pointing the rappers top towards the stars. "I'm impressed... Slightly." The Falia said with a confident smirk and prepared to block.

Deluros heard the whiz of the blade and quickly changed in mid-attack to an advanced lunge towards the left side of his chest.

Leo lowers his gun when he heard the faint sound of blades clashing against each other in combat outside the door. He thought about opening the door to see the combatants' identities, but decides it'll be safer if it remained shut. No need to invite danger to a safe haven. "So," He said to break the silence between them, if there was any. "...what should I call you from now on? Annabelle or Captain Vakarine?"

"Well normally I would say Annabelle sense you're not a member of this crew, but sense those on board need to get in habit of calling me Captain Vakarine, the later will suffice." She said with a nod while staring in the direction of the door. She tightened the knot on the bandaging and looked towards Leo "All the scars are covered, right?" she asked before standing up. The question was rather pointless given that she'd had so much practice doing it she already knew the answer. "I'm going to go find some food, I'm starving." she said as she walked to the door and it slid open. "Excuse me~" she cooed as she shuffled past the little scuffle, Malice close behind her. Once out of their way she walked down to the deck and looked around "Okay Malice...follow the scent of food I guess."

Draven rolled right and saw a woman walk out of the Captain's Quarters, leaving the door open. "I believe this is where I'll take my leave." The Falia said as he threw the rapier to his opponent. "Maybe we shall finish once my business here is done." With that Draven ran into the room to talk with the captain, immediately surprised with what he saw.

Somehow, Solace was able to over power the heavy Lots and dragged him to his kitchen. She fired up all the stoves and began chopping onions, peeling potatoes, dicing parsley, and stuffing a chicken then cutting it up and placed into a nice big pot. On the side she made some meat pies and placed them in the ship's oven and the smell was mouth watering. She cut up some lettuce and tomatoes, and found an avocado and created a beautiful salad. She had been anything and everything when she had a crew of her own. She loved to learn multiple trades and she adored trying things out. She set things to a simmer and took out the meat pies and served herself some chicken soup. "Mmmm, dis be delightful and it warms ye bones!" She smiled. Looking over at Lots she tortured him with hunger.

Leo was shocked when Annabelle left the captain's quarters. He could follow her and get sliced in half by the pirates outside, but staying in the room sounds like a better idea. Looking for anything interesting on the shelves, he picks up a small case with strange engravings imprinted on it. "I wonder what's in here?" He ponders on whether he should open it or not. Maybe it could be a relic worth millions to the right buyer, or a miniature black hole waiting to suck him into it. Curiosity got the better of him and he opens it to reveal a golden key. It's shaped like a antique key, but it's bow curved inward toward the shaft. For some strange reason, Leo takes the key out before dropping the case. He pulls out the orb and staring at both relics for a mere second, instinctively inserts the key into the orb. Then... nothing happens. "That was disappointing." He said right before the orb emits a bright light that blinds Leo. When he regained his sight, he saw the orb floating above the desk and projecting a 360° holographic map of the entire universe. There were bright specks floating all around the room, each one a planet or galaxy that is known and unknown. "...I think I hit the jackpot."

"I'm starving..." Mus said with a yawn as he walks around the ship. The boy just woke up after sleeping in the vents of the ship for most of the day. He preferred sleeping in small spaces where no one could reach him. That way, they couldn't suprise him without alerting him of their presence first. "Now was the kitchen in here?" He was about to open a random door when he heard noises from the other side. Not wanting to get seen, he leaves and later finds the kitchen. He eats the bread that was left on a counter and sits down on the floor. This was his daily routine after the ship left Earth a week ago. Wake up, eat, crawl, hide, prank, eat again, and sleep. None of the crew or their passengers ever saw him yet. But in return, he couldn't find his friend during the entire trip. "I wonder where he is?" He mumbled after wiping the crumbs off his face. When he heard a huge crash and some yelling outside the kitchen door, he hides in one of the cabinets to avoid detection. Minutes later, he smells something delicious through the cabinet doors. Mus' stomach grumbled for food, which he agrees with by crawling out of the cabinet and looks over the kitchen counter to see a older girl having chicken soup. He licks his lip as he reaches for a meat pie on the counter in front of him.

"What the hell?! A map?! Like that?!" Draven exclaimed, revealing himself. He had heard of a map like the one before him many times before. But it was all of legend. Some men on the docks would even sold replicas as gimmicks. The maps that were designed in a similar manner were non existent. "One of a kind map there. Who are you?" Draven asked as he stood up and stared down Leo.

"That depends." Leo replied as he straightens his back to look more intimidating. "Who are you?" Probably the worst comeback ever, but the stranger staring at him reminded him of the sword-wielding pirate. All bark and all bite, if that makes any sense at all.
