'In a land far far away lies the kingdom of Fiore, a small peaceful nation of 17 million and a place filled with magic. Found in every home, bought and sold in every marketplace, for most magic is merely a tool, a mundane part of everyday life. For some, however, magic is an art and they've devoted their lives to its practice, these are the wizards. Banded together into magical guilds they apply their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore, guilds, from which countless legends have been born and guilds that will, no doubt, continue to create legends well into the future...'

The city of Magnolia was basked in a warm orange glow, the sun hung low in the sky as it slowly crawled towards the horizon, casting it's warm orange glow for the final few hours before it would leave the city in darkness. Despite the streets being quite quiet due to the time, Magnolia was filled with excitement. The moment you entered the City you could feel it in the air. After all, this was the last sunset before this year's Harvest Festival, arguably the biggest event of the year for the people of Magnolia.

Inside the Fairy Tail guild was as noisy as usual, but for once the chaos of the guild hall seemed to have purpose. Most of the Guild Members had returned to Magnolia for the Festival and many of them were busy helping prepare for the festivities. Kiara sat down at one of the tables in the guild hall. Her hair was tied back in a ponytail in order to stop it getting in her way while she'd been rushing about and she was wearing quite simple clothes, a pair of blue trousers, black boots, a white T-shirt and a blue jacket. She had just finished her assigned tasks in preparation for tomorrow and wanted to have a quick breather before the guests who'd been invited from other guilds started arriving. Kiara glanced around the guild hall, hoping that maybe one of her team members had also finished their assigned tasks.

Meanwhile, Lilly was struggling to move some crates filled with supplies for the celebrations. The crates weren't super heavy but they were just a bit too heavy for her to be able to easily lift so she'd taken to pushing them along the floor a few inches at a time towards the desired location. Due to the supplies being located in one of the storage rooms away from the main areas of the guild there wasn't really anyone around to help, besides, she was determined to finish the task by herself. She wasn't really all that much help around the guild as she wasn't really capable of properly using magic and so she really wanted to be helpful in some way, even just a small way, and she didn't want to be even more of a nuisance by asking someone for help, besides, almost everyone else was already busy in some way or another anyway.

A nap...nap sounds nice...maybe a nap, then a snooze...Will was snapped from his thoughts and his half sleeping state as he nearly fell off the ladder he was on. He had been assigned to hang some decorations on the guild hall walls, and while that wasn't too hard, it was still time he could have been using to catch up on sleep. One more nail, and everything was set, his job done. Sliding down the ladder, he went about putting it away and stretching out for a moment. As usual, he was in his leather jacket, which covered up a loose fitting white button up shirt. Dark gray pants and brown boots, and his ever present satchel at his side.

Making his way towards the table Kiara had taken a seat at, stopping for a moment to encourage the young member of the guild. "Looking good lily...Just gotta get it done and you're free, right? Then you can take a breather and hang out with your friends..or you know, take a nap. Those are always great. Anyways, I'm going to sit with Kiara, if you finish up you're welcome to join us if you want.". Flashing a smile, he finished his walk to the table and pulled up a seat, comfortably sinking into it. "How're you doing kiara? No big trouble with what you got stuck with I hope?"

He took a look around the guild hall, noticing one of the decorations had begun to fall off the wall, probably a faulty nail. "You think anyone is going to notice...or complain about decorations slipping? Like...on a scale of no one caring, to master knocking me over the head, what do you think that'd fall under?". He looked around again once more, rubbing the back of his head while he thought. "Have you seen melody, or is she still busy?"

Meanwhile, a few roads down, Hayden slumped lazily in a tree above the street. He'd been laying there for some time, throwing the odd snowball at passers by after he finished the job he'd been sent to Magnolia to do. It provided a good vantage point, since those who reacted angrily couldn't see him, even know only his dangling grey leg was visible from behind the bristles of the tree. He had grown weary of throwing snowballs by now, and instead had resorted to his other favourite pastime. As he took swigs from his hip-flask containing a liquid strong enough to make those with a weaker pallet wretch at the mere smell, he took a proper look at the path below him for the first time. Magnolia was ordinarily a busy city, but even so, the people who bustled down the streets today looked particularly mirthful and had a peculiar spring in their step.

"Wonder what's going on" he questioned to himself. Shaking his head, he leaned back in the tree to take another sip, only for the cold metal to meet his lips bone-dry.
"Damn, empty..."
As of right now, he had two options in his mind, to start the trek back home or to stick around and find himself a nice pub or bar to dwell in. The answer, in his tipsy mind, seemed obvious. Hayden dropped down from the tree and again surveyed his surroundings. He had been in Magnolia in the past, but not enough to have his baring. He searched the depths of his mind, trying to remember any such place he'd been before.
It suddenly hit him.
"Oh of course, the Fairy Tail guild hall, they have a bar!" he recalled. The memory of him once going on a job with one of the members of the guild, going back to the guild hall for a drink afterwards as well as making numerous attempts to flirt with the bartender to no avail gave him conflicting ideas on whether he would be welcome and served, but even so, it was his only lead in the quest to get a drink and so off he trudged.

"Maybe they'll know what everyone's so excited about as well."

After a few wrong turns, fifteen minutes later he reached the front door of the guild hall. Hayden felt a homely warmth in his chest, all the Fairy Tail guild members he'd met were always so lively and fun, surprisingly he found himself a little excited to see what was on the other side of the door. Could it be a brawl for him to take part in? A drinking contest maybe? He nonchalantly slapped the door open, strolled in and breathed in the sight. The guild seemingly hadn't been spared from the excitement of the outside as they too were joyously decorating the walls and preparing other unrecognisable festivities, some more successfully than others.

"Hello Fairy Tail, did Christmas come early or something? Why's everyone so excited?" he hollered to nobody in particular, before taking a seat at the bar and ordering a full bottle of whatever was cheapest.

Millicent can be found clearly towards the end of the guild halls bar counter, her towering form propped up on crossed arms against the hard oak with staff leaning idly against the wall. The woman was garbed in head to toe in deep purple with a long mane of hair flowing downwards past the edge of her seat.

An equally large pile of kebab sticks can be found next to her, a full one held between the fingers of one hand, a large mug of golden ale in the other drinking from such heavily before it hands with a thud "Another!" laughing away as she soaks in the atmosphere of the guild hall. Moving her head over she hears the sound of a struggle and wood scraping, given the direction she had a fairly good idea of who it was though. Picking up her staff and walking over, the heavy boot steps shaking the wooden floor slightly before leaning against wood casually "Hey Lilly! You sure you don't want a hand with those?" ducking her head through to the other side to look towards her smaller guildmate, a warm smile across her features as she slowly scans the area. "Was going to give Kiara a hand too after my snack, but you're sounding like your having a bit more trouble"

Kerberosa looks around nervously as her father speaks with the guild master, the girl quiet and mostly concealed under a light blue travelling cloak leaving only the bottom of her face really visible. This was going to be her home while her father was away, though being around so many people...it wasn't right, she wanted to just lock herself away like before, she didn't know how to handle all this. At least the old man her father was speaking to seemed friendly though, but she couldn't tell if it was just an act like she had seen before, never the less with a stamp upon her right hand she was now a member of this guild and her father was waving farewell with promises of her belongings arriving before long.

Wincing slightly the side of the cloak writhed a little before calming, no she wouldnt...just do what you have to, I won't. She shakes her head for a moment as the snow-white locks fall through the hood, the old man had said she would be a mage of the guild?...though that meant using her magic.....this really was a bad idea.

“Don’t you go stealing decorations.”

Akita, whom was sitting at the same table as Kiara, idly drinking her glass of orange juice. She had spent all day guiding the building of the annual “MAGIC BATTLE ARENA” and had been rather tired out by it- mostly because of all the yelling.
She wanted to make sure it was good. She knew that she herself would be hanging out over there quite a bit. Like many of her Dragon-slayer types, she loved a good fight. It was enchanted with magical barriers to keep the magic contained within the arena’s walls, so no harm would come to any spectators or the city proper.

“Everyone puts a lot of time into these decorations, and will be royally pissed if you start moving stuff around! Especially me.” She narrowed her eyes angrily at the thought and raised an eyebrow. “So keep your sticky fingers to yourself, Will. Or you might just find yourself with an angry guild falling on top of you.”

c7214f79f39a11361bd1475ceaf6af54 - small.jpg Melody scurried around the guild hall as fast as her little legs would carry her, attempting to juggle multiple jobs at once. Set up decorations here, direct the others in their tasks there, greet the guests as they arrive, break up any scuffles, make sure nothing gets destroyed, the list went on. It was a good thing she was so full of energy today or she'd be totally tuckered out by now. She was feeling a little winded though...perhaps she ought to stop and rest a moment.
She came to a stop beside one of the larger tables, which just happened to be where two of her teammates, Kiara and Will were sitting. Akita was there too, and as per usual, she looked sour.

"Hello you three," she greeted softly. "How are all of your preparations going? Did you finish already?" She glanced around the hall at all the people still working. There was still so much to be done before tomorrow. She noticed Lilly struggling with a large crate, and was about to go over and assist her when Millicent arrived and beat her to the punch. It was just as well though, Millicent was far stronger than Melody and would likely be of more help.
Just then she heard a voice call out over the clamour of the hall and turned her head to see the guild doors open and a figure striding in. It seemed another guest had arrived. Before she could move to greet them they had already made their way to the bar. At least they didn't need any help finding their way around.
Finally she glanced over at where the master was busy conversing with two other people. After a few moments one turned and left, while the second remained behind. She couldn't see her face under the hood of her cloak, but as she understood it, that was their newest member. Despite the festive atmosphere of the hall, she looked rather sullen for some reason. Perhaps she was just shy? Melody could relate to that. She wondered if she ought to go over and introduce herself, maybe invite her to help with the preparations?

"Th...Thanks, Will..." Lilly called over, between her heavy breathing, in response to Will's encouragement and his invite for her to join both him and Kiara once she was finished. Lilly was wearing a long, loose blue top, black trousers and a pair of black trainers, her currently brown hair had been in a rather neat ponytail a short while ago, but by now most of her hair had loosened itself from the ponytail leaving her hair in a sort of messy ponytail that only really gathered about half of her hair, her pale skin was glistening with a thin layer of sweat as a result of her putting so much effort into the job at hand. Lilly immediately turned her attention back to the crates that she was supposed to be moving, she pushed them with all of her strength and body weight combined. She was so focused on her task, trying to move the crates through sheer willpower as well as her strength, that Millicent's voice surprised her, causing her to yelp and stumble slightly. As much as Lilly really wanted to buckle and accept Millicent's offer of help, she still wanted to feel useful and if she couldn't manage this very simple job by herself then she really was as useless as she felt. "I... I can do it..." Lilly panted insistently. She continued to push the crate with all her might, causing it to move an extra few inches accompanied by the rough scraping sound of the wooden crate moving across the wooden floor.

Kiara followed Will's gaze to look at the precariously hung decorations. "Well... I think that would depend..." She said thoughtfully. "On how badly they slip if they fall off completely and if, when they fall off, they fall onto anyone or not." Kiara turned to face Will again. "So, on your scale, I'd say anywhere between, slight annoyance towards you and Gramps knocking you on the head... you might even get kicked out of the guild if they fall onto Gramps' head," Kiara spoke playfully, she obviously knew that something as small as loose decorations wouldn't be anywhere near enough to get someone kicked out of the guild, but there was no harm in having a little fun at Will's expense from time to time, especially as she spent the majority of her life trying to find him in one of his weird sleeping spots. Kiara was about to tell Will how she hadn't seen Melody when, as if out of nowhere, Melody appeared beside the table. "Speak of the devil." Kiara chirped as Melody greeted them. "Yeah, I just finished a couple of minutes ago," Kiara explained in response to Melody's question. "Will, on the other hand..." Kiara said playfully, sending a glance over towards the decorations that were barely clinging onto the wall of the guild hall. "What about you?" Kiara asked, returning her attention to Melody. "You still seem quite busy, do you need a hand with anything?"

Makarov approached Kerberosa. "There's no need to be frightened," Makarov said to the girl, his voice very gentle. "We may be quite full on but I'm sure you'll get used to it here in no time." He explained Cheerfully. "Welcome to the family.

Millicent just watches the girl shaking her head a bit, reaching over with her staff and bonking her on the head a little as a purple spark goes off "Look if they're too heavy your not going to be able to enjoy the festival if you hurt yourself right?, Were a guild for a reason, so how about i help out with half instead and you can take the rest?.... Besides your going to damage the floor if you just drag them" as the soft impact on her head goes off the small girl can feel her body expand slowly until it comes up to something just a bit below Millicents height "But there....now you should have an easier time" putting their staff behind them as they move over to shrink several of the boxes so she can carry half of the grates in one arm. Giving a glance to Lilly afterwards "Be quick though, only but a smidge into that so not got long until it wears off right?" patting the girl's shoulder with another smile as she goes to the door "But yeah, also going to need your help to tell me where this goes right?"

Kerberosa jumps at the sound of the voice turning quickly as there a short amount of writing can Be heard beneath the cloak, some large bulky object shifts before slowly turning towards the tiny old man and nodding slowly. Looking across the room a little more and all the decorations and people in a high mood before speaking in little more than a soft whisper "Ano, Its....everyone is...happy and...." looking away "Id just....get in the way or upset them, this really......I really don't know how to handle all this and...." she winces once more as the voices come across her mind once more, trying to push them down to the depths.

"Why....does this place.....even won't someone like me.....I know its likely a favour for my father but,....i don't want to be a burden here" not to mention how they would react, the stares and whispers of there own, those laughs....they were likely just laughing at her anyway, then the whispers and rumours would spread....and it would be just like back home.

"I know... but-" Lilly was going to try and make some excuse as to why she needed to do it unaided that was a little less pathetic than 'I just don't want to be useless any more' but she was cut off as Millicent softly boinked her on the head with her staff. "Hey..." Lilly said softly, rubbing her head with her hand, it hadn't hurt or anything, that was just Lilly's automatic response to what had happened. She started to feel weird and the floor seemed to be getting further away from her. She looked up at Millicent again although she didn't have to look up as much as she usually would have. Lilly looked down at her body as she pieced together what had happened. "Woah!" She exclaimed. Lilly was so used to being smaller than pretty much everyone else in the guild, except maybe Master Makarov, so being taller than the vast majority of the guild was somewhat of a strange experience for her. Lilly focused her attention back towards Millicent as "Th... Thanks, Millie." Lilly said coyly. In reality, she was very grateful for the help. "Oh, they need to go beside the stage..." Lilly explained as Millicent asked where the crates were supposed to go. Lilly attempted to lift the crate she'd been struggling to shove across the floor a few moments ago and to her surprise, she could lift it with relative ease. Lilly practically skipped with the crate over to the stage, enjoying the strength and height while it lasted.

Makarov looked up at Kerberosa, realising that she didn't appear to be finding any comfort from his words. "I understand how you feel, different from everyone else, maybe you even feel as if you're a burden to those around you because of who you are? But, within these four walls, you won't be shunned just because of who you are or how you look. Everyone here is different, in a way that's what makes us all the same." As Makarov finished speaking, he noticed Hayden approaching. "Hayden, it's been a while. Here for the festivities?" He inquired.

"Best not to argue and just get on with it right? Besides your going to figure out your magic eventually anyway" Ruffling the girl's hair before walking along with her side casually along to the stage putting the items down before they return to their normal size. Taking a seat atop the items and kicking a leg casually as she watched the girl come over, it was cute overall, watching a new mage taking their first few steps into magic first hand was definitely something to see "But in the end, everyone coming together to put on a show, that's how we do it here...so just ask for a hand in future ok? Not like we're going to let family hurt themselves doing something silly...I mean unless they are going to learn something from it I guess" laughing out to herself as she glances across the room before turning back to the girl "So what are you looking forward to most in the festival?" idly opening the top of one of the boxes to glance inside.

Kerberosa's head remains down for a few moments before it raises slightly, her eye is slightly fearful before looking across the guild hall slowly and landing back to the small man, nodding lightly to his words with her normal hand emerging to hold her other beneath the cloak "Its... I just want people to be happy" there is a flicker of hope however in her eye as she looks on to his face. She had seen smiles before, so many fake ones, but that one didn't seem fake...or was it just because she didn't want it to be?. Her hand is casually moving up and down in thought before turning towards the new arrival with a faint jump.

Looking upwards a little at the new boy "Erm..Im...K...Kerberosa" nodding slightly to each point "I...yes i... I just got..here" looking away again with slight shame "I'm sorry...I mean im....not" her eye moves to Markovs face again before swallowing heavily "I...Suppose...I could...If...its not...If im not....a bother I mean" shift from the stool until shes standing, showing herself a few inches taller than the boy, eye landing on the chain, wrist mark, before looking to the one on her exposed hand and standing in thought for a few moments before it tightens and she slowly nods walking over to him, though before she leaves she turns back to Markov for a moment "S..Thank...you,...I hope....i dont....dissapoint you"

Will gave a small pout like a child. "Cmon akita, I hung the wall decorations up myself. You can search me if you have too, but I hung everything up like I was supposed to. I didn't cut corners, I promise.". At the idea of gramps giving him a stern knock upside the head, he seemed to shiver. Will was durable yea, but something about makarov hitting you seemed to go right through any pain tolerance you had. "I reaaaally don't want to get up and fix it...but the idea of gramps knocking me over the head is motivation enough to fix it..". Looking over at melody, he gave a small smile. "Yes...and no? I mean...it's all hung up. But I guess not well enough...I've still got to fix that one there, y'see?".

Pointing ahead of himself and behind akita, there was a rather beautiful, if a bit large and hefty looking, decoration. "I know Kiara was kidding, but if that fell on gramps head, he'd probably kick me out of the guild for a week at least...so I'll fix that then..". Standing up, he went on over to the decoration after retrieving the ladder to check why it was falling...only to find the nail had come loose. No hammer on hand, he'd left it...somewhere, he was sure. A liiittle magic could be excused here, it would only be a trickle after all, he'd recharge. Coating his thumb in a shiny diamond exterior, he went about shoving the nail firmly into place. While he couldn't done it with his bare thumb, it'd have cut into his skin and probably would've taken a bit more effort he assumed. Better safe than sorry.

Inspecting the decoration, he slowly took a step back after sliding down the ladder, watching it warily. A solid minute passed before he felt comfortable with the knowledge it absolutely, could not, should not fall. Putting away the ladder, the coating disappearing from his thumb after sitting down with Akita and Kiara. "So...how'd the arena building go Akita? We're not going to have one of the barriers fail and cause property damage, right?...Didn't that happen once, and gramps damn near knocked us all upside the head?"

"Yeah... I guess so..." Lilly mumbled. " I just wish it would hurry up already..." Lilly was starting to feel Like she was never going to be a fully fledged wizard, after all, she had lived in a magical guild for almost her entire life and had been training for just as long and she hadn't really grown much at all. She didn't even have that much of an excuse, after all, most of the other members of fairy tail had discovered their magic at a younger age than she was now, and many of them hadn't even had access to the support and resources that Lilly had access to. Lilly sighed as she placed the last of the crates beside the stage with the rest. She started to feel herself returning to her normal size again. "Ok, I will..." Lilly replied to Millicent as she told her that she should ask for help when she needs it in the future. Lilly thought for a moment as Millicent asked her what she was looking forward to most in the festival. "Ummm... Probably the Fantasia Parade!" Lilly said, a glint of excitement forming in her eyes as her mind wandered towards the festival. "You guys always look so cool!" She exclaimed excitedly as she remembered how cool everyone looked during last year's parade. Despite the fact that Lilly was also a member of Fairy Tail, she still looked up to her guildmates, idolising them almost like celebrities even though they're her family. "What are you looking forward to most?" She asked curiously.

Makarov smiled at Kerberosa. "I doubt that you'll ever have to worry about that, my child." With that, he walked away, leaving Hayden and Kerberosa alone together.

"Awww, that's a shame, looks like you're not gonna get kicked out after all." Kiara teased, winking at Will.

Letting out a small puff of smoke, Jax watched as it trailed and evaporated into thin air. He knew he had to quit smoking some time soon but honestly, who the heck cares? He put out the half-used stick of cigarette as he found himself approaching an area with a larger crowd. The cobbled-street that usually looked dirty was rather cleaned up now that there was a reason for it to be so. His eyes wandered around, scanning as he observed children playing just outside of shop lots while adults busied themselves with last minute preparations for the big day tomorrow.

Jax never really admitted it but he took a liking to the Harvest Festival. He enjoyed the bright colours and the joy that many had from just one day of celebration. He enjoyed it more, on the other hand because he usually found himself back in his apartment, lazing around as his guild mates took on the festive mode. This year, however, was different as he was tasked to send payment receipts to Fairy Tail. Apparently a few members of Fairy Tail had gotten too excitedly on their way back from a mission and literally wrecked a wall in Sabertooth's guild. He didn't know the details of it but he sure as hell wondered what in the world was wrong with them.

Finally reaching his destination, he pushed open the wooden doors to be met with the sight of some guild members fighting while for the most part, everyone was interacting in their own groups. He approached a younger girl and an older woman clad in purple that were looking through a crate.

"Greetings, is Master Makarov in? I need deliver something from Sabertooth."

c7214f79f39a11361bd1475ceaf6af54 - small.jpg The voices of her teammates brought her attention back to the table. She followed Kiara and Will's gazes to the precariously hung decoration. It looked alarmingly unstable, she hoped it wouldn't fall and hurt anyone. Before she could express her concern though, Will stood and went to fix it. She watched him, nodding contentedly once the decoration had been stabilized. As he returned to the table, she gave him an appreciative smile.

"Thank you, Will. Now we won't have to worry about anyone getting hurt...by that at least." As soon as she said it, she quickly amended her statement. When it came to Fairy Tail, there was always a chance that someone would get hurt, or something destroyed. They were kind of a rowdy bunch. They meant well though. Remembering Kiara's earlier question, she placed a hand on her chin, thoughtfully. "I don't think so. Let's see...After I finish up here at the guild hall I need to go check in with the team working on the parade floats...then I need to stop over at Magnolia Square and see how much progress the team there has made in setting up the booths...I also wanted to speak with some of the businesses responsible for providing food to make sure there's going to be enough this year. I know last year things got a little out of hand, so I'd like to be more prepared this time...Oh, that reminds me, I still need to go shopping before the end of today too...I was also really hoping to head back to Fairy Hills so I could put the finishing touches on my parade dress..." Now that she actually said it out loud, it was quite a long list. Would she be able to get it all done today? She scratched at her cheek sheepishly. "Ah...m-maybe I could use a little help..."

Will nodded to Kiara, giving a small smile. "Cmon, don't be like that. You'd miss me I'm sure. Besides, without you guys, I'd probably get lost somewhere. Could fall asleep on a log, and it could slip into the river...and I'd wake up in the next town over!". He gave a small laugh at the joke...though for those who knew will, that is entirely something that could happen. Looking over to melody. "Right? Last thing I want to do is sour the mood and hurt someone because of a sloppy job. It's one of my favorite times of the year, it should be that way for everyone else too if I can help it." Hearing her list, he had an internal conflict for a moment. As much as he didn't want too...for a friend, he'd volunteer. "Alright let's think...I can probably go check on the floats if you need a hand with that, or if you give me a list I'll go shop for you? Sounds like you have your hands full, more so than most of us...may as well help you if I can."

Hearing the mention of the parade dress, he got a small 'oh' look on his face, as if he suddenly remembered something...which he had. "I still have to get a few things done on my old outfit...this is one of the only times of the year I'll try to look 'fancy' and 'fantastic'...no point other time, y'know? What are you two going with?". He looked between his team mates for a moment, before casting a glance at the spunky lightning dragon slayer. "Akita, you? Anything in mind?"

“Oh, it’s an arena. Colorful pendants, streamers, a wall. And the barriers should hold up this year, as long as no one pulls off some massive overpowering move that’ll shatter it... and as long as nobody messes with it.”

She muttered into her orange juice, gulping down the last of it before turning to look at the group that had gathered, taking a moment to wave at the newcomers in greeting before turning back to Will, “Me? Are you kidding? I’ve never dressed up for this before... honestly, I can’t say that I even knew we were supposed to do that... were we supposed to dress up this entire time?” She questioned, suddenly surprised that she had managed to miss that memo.

“... I don’t even own a dress.” She mumbled, placing her head in her hands with a sigh.

Crossing her legs as she kicks one slowly from her perch on stage, she scans across the area once more, resting her chin in a hand as they listen closely "It will come when it comes. trying to rush it is just going to cause more issues and stress in the long run" moving an eye back across to them "All magic is different, some come quicker than others, some are easier to understand, or some are just lucky to synch with it more easily....but everything in time" smiling as the girl comes back down to normal size as a memory flashes through her mind "For example when I first started out with my magic....you would be surprised, getting the entire body and the clothes to change size at the same time was an issue that led to some interesting developments" laughing as she things over the damage that caused at times before shaking her head a little more.

Though the question of what part of the festival she enjoyed most was one that was always difficult for her to pin down herself, each had its own appeal but with so many options it was always to pin one down since it tended to change year to year. Pursuing her lips as her mouth starts to move she finally seems to land on one that fits well with a widening grin "Well i think this gear the Miss Fairy Tail Contest, I did get the most interesting outfits on the last mission and seemed a fun time to show it off" laughing to herself as the image of the scene runs through her mind before her eyes lock onto the new arrival and the others working on the decorations. "Shall we go help out the others now? or do you have more to move of your own?..... Oh seems we do have a visitor".

Her attention moves over to Jax with a welcoming smile "Hmm? Well, he's usually over by the bar" casually gesturing with a finger before she moves closer to sit off the side of the stage instead and look down to him and across his person "I am going to guess its a letter? Since I don't see any larger presents for us, let me guess...someone got a bit excited and caused a mess? Or maybe this is some fun joint venture mission?... While I'm hoping for the later, I'm guessing the former" laughing to herself a little more as her staff bobs idly across her lap and leaning down further to him "But regardless.. I don't think we have met before?" reaching down a giant hand to the boy "Millicent Yotun...." awaiting his own introduction

Hayden took another sip of his drink and pushed himself up from the table. He was really feeling his drink now, he had to make a conscious train of thought to speak without slurring his words and to walk straight. Not checking behind him to see if his new acquaintance had followed, he strolled at a leisurely pace over the large table across the hall and quite happily butted himself into whatever they were talking about.
"Howdy folks, mind if I sit? Nah of course ya' don't!" He blurted before sitting on the edge of the able and propping his legs up on a chair. Hayden figured although such an action would be rude in many other guild halls, Fairy Tail were a rowdy enough bunch to not really care. He took yet another swig from his bottle and winced at the man in the leather jacket sitting near him.

"Hey, leather boy?" he inquired, "You seem famil-" but he cut himself short, as the conversation he was overhearing finally registered in his brain.
"Floats? Outfits? Seriously, what's going on? Why is everyone so excited, did I miss a memo?"

The cloaked girl follows shuffling behind the boy, the material moving slightly as she does but positioning herself behind him slightly like a shield, a look of confusion at the entire discussion about dresses and a arena, the entire town had seemed to be getting ready for something but she honestly had no idea exactly what herself. It was more like a party with everything, really she never really was one for party....mainly due to the stares and whispers, but.....

She looks back to the old man again still nervous before back to the group waving slightly with her good hand as she speaks in a quiet whisper "H..Hello...." she really had no idea how to handle this, looking from the group to Hayden himself. Staying standing for now rather than take a seat, instead just standing there timidly.

"Ugh, don't remind me..." Kiara sighed as Will explained how he might end up falling asleep on a log and floating down a river to the next town. "I pretty sure we've already gone through a few scenarios that were just as irritating." Kiara shook the memories of Will's terrible choices of nap locations and turned her attention back towards Melody. "That sounds like quite the list..." She commented. "Whatever you need me to do, I will see it done!" Kiara exclaimed. "Reporting for duty, Ma'am" She chirped, saluting for added effect. Just then two other people seemed to join the group. One of which was obviously drunk and not a member of the guild, yet seemed to be familiar enough with the guild hall, the other was a person who, Kiara couldn't really identify as most of their features were covered by the cloak that they were wearing, all except a few strands of white hair that were poking out from under the cloak's hood. Kiara scanned the drunken man, hoping to find some sort of indication as to who he was. After a short pause, she noticed a tattoo on the man's wrist, no, not just a tattoo, a guild mark. "You're from the Blue Pegasus guild, right?" Kiara asked curiously. She assumed that the man was here in response to the invite that had been sent to the Blue Pegasus guild, inviting them to join in the festivities of the Harvest Festival. "Woah, have we had one too many?" Kiara asked playfully as the man inquired as to what all the excitement was about. Kiara then turned to the other newcomer, "Are you from Blue Pegasus too?" She asked the cloak clad person curiously, still unable to discern anything about them, thanks to their features being almost completely hidden from view either by the cloak or by the fact that they were positioned almost directly behind the drunk.

"Yeah... I guess you're right..." Lilly said as Millicent explained that some people just click with their magic quicker than others. The image of Millicent being unable to properly use her magic was a little hard to her to picture though, in her mind pretty much everyone here had always been amazing, so imagining them struggling with their magic was a strange image to her. As the conversation returned to the Harvest Festival, Lilly's excitement returned again. "Sounds great!" She commented as Millicent shared how much she was looking forward to showing off her new and interesting outfits. "I think that's all the crates," Lilly said triumphantly. "So I'm up for seeing if anyone else needs any help!" Lilly followed Millicent's gaze as she announced that they had a visitor. Upon noticing that the visitor in question was someone who she didn't know, Lilly suddenly averted her gaze to look at the floor nervously and she fell completely silent. Lilly slowly raised her gaze as Millicent spoke, looking up towards her fellow guildmate. She glanced at the stranger nervously, trying to avoid eye contact with him as much as possible.

Walking down the streets of Magnolia, Zarana Lasch-Namiko raised her arms over her head and stretched. The bag over her shoulder was getting heavy as it was filled with everything she deemed important for her new life. Stopping by a small cafe, she quickly bought some tea and set out once more. I wonder if I should ask somebody for directions... I think I'm lost. Maybe I should curl up into a ball and cry for ten hours and then I'll be fine. Looking around quickly, she decided instead to carry on and figure it out herself. I don't need no mans to help me,,,,,,,, I think. PLEasE oh pLeASe let me find the Fairy Tail guild soon,,,, Taking off her bag and sitting against a wall, Zara finished her tea and decided to do some 'people watching' until the lawd above or whatever decided to help her poor soul.

"Well...If the two of you don't mind, then-" She was interrupted by the sudden appearance of two new characters, one of whom seemed to be slightly intoxicated. She blinked and quickly closed her mouth, which still hung open midsentence. After a few seconds, she was able to recognize one of the newcomers as one of the strangers speaking to master Makarov a few minutes ago. The other, she didn't recognize until Kiara pointed out his guild mark. So he was from Blue Pegasus. How odd, weren't Blue Pegasus members usually more refined and well-behaved than this? "We're preparing for Magnolia's annual Harvest Festival," she said in reply to his unanswered question. "Didn't your guild receive the invitation?"
