Fantasy Magic ☆ is Dead

Just out of curiosity, are there any particular events that might be occurring at the moment in the IC? Or are our characters simply doing whatever they want to do until an event pops up?
Hmm, how about a public execution? Mage characters can try to interfere, and the Peaceguard can interfere with the interference.

I'm so morbid...

Did someone say execution? :D

[QUOTE="One Mean Ghost]And my wall of text is up xD
I hope I did a good enough job for the first post *crosses fingers* ><;;

Not wanting to be that guy but uh... I feel like the Lady's Club is a bit... out of place. Dx

We're... kinda in the era of taverns... and stuff like that. oAe;;

[QUOTE="Saccharine Cyanide]I'm not sure coating armor in the drug would be effective. It would have to have contact with the bloodstream in order to work. Unless maybe the armor is covered in spikes or something?

Well, I figured someone's bare skin touching the armor would cause the drug to dissolve through their skin (via pores, etc.) He wouldn't do this all the time though, just when he's made contact with a mage is when he will activate the packets (they'll dry eventually, but for short term battles, they'll stay wet). But if that isn't the case, no problem, spikes would be cool. ^-^

b...but I worked so damn hard on that... And with the technology and stuff, it almost feels like Lady's clubs would fit in just fine for the capitol...

And why the hell didn't you say anything when it was brought up a long time ago?!

This particular drug can't be absorbed through the skin. It'd be too much of a disadvantage for mages. For simplicity's sake he could rub it on his armor rather than using packets. It'll stay active until it evaporates.

Also just the mental image of him menacingly rubbing the stuff into his armor

Makes sense to me. :)

Removed the other armor modification idea. Now, along with his scythe, he has a bit of a 'brass knuckles' themed modification to his gloves. When he encounters a mage, he coats the spikes in the drug, making for a dangerous punch. (Simple and not too OP :3)

@Saccharine Cyanide

*A*

Is that Heiwajima Shizuo I see in that gif? My life is complete; Durarara is beautiful indeed :')

Anyhow, I shall get my post up within the hour~

@Saccharine Cyanide
Ok, that works. Much more balanced.

He's accepted.

@Arvis90

Question, is he wearing gloves or no?

Dante's ability automatically absorbs energy on skin to skin contact(he can't turn that off), so I really need to know to decide Dante's reaction xD

He can also absorb energy through clothing(not armor though), but that requires him to do it intentionally, which puts off noticeable magic. The skin to skin absorption puts off so little magic it's nearly impossible to detect, much less trace.

He is not wearing gloves or hand protection of any sort. So don't touch me!! xD

And yeah I figured, though because Dante is in such close proximity to Shayne, I put in he sensed a minute flux of magic, but couldn't pin down who used it or where :D

Second question, I should have asked before, how long are his sleeves, if any? If they go down to his wrist he can do the medieval handshake where you grab the forearm instead of the hand (I believe the reason was to check for concealed daggers or something)
