Within the school walls, A young Native girl sat alone next to a set of lockers, writing in a leather-bound journal. She had been skipping class yet again so she wouldn't start up any trouble. Her mind was elsewhere and not even focused on the days studies. She was too focused on finding every last detail about her friend's murder. With a frustrated growl she shoved the notebook into her leather-made shoulder bag. "One of these days... I swear I'll avenge you.... Just you wait my dear..."

From down the hall, a young Freshman girl dressed preppy and cleanly made her way to her locker. She had a sort of sour look fixed on her face as she looked at her schedule, which rested on top of a stack of school supplies she carried in her arms.
I can't believe the Academy won't let me in until I've finished high school... I am a skilled witch, and they know it! So why send me to this dumb human school? she thought bitterly to herself as she huffed and turned to face her locker, just a few up from where the Native girl sat. Madeline didn't seem to notice her, too busy lost in her own thoughts as she absentmindedly scrolled in the code to unlock her locker, which was typed up at the top right of her schedule. She had lunch next, so she wasn't in too much of a hurry to put her things away.

The native girl soon stood, she knew being around what seemed was one of the higher clique members, staying around any longer would definetly break out into a fight. Keeping her eyes focused on her feet, she made her way in Madeline's direction before she accidentally bumped into her. Widening her eyes, she reached for her leatherbound notebook in which had fallen at Madeline's feet. She didn't dare apologise due to the fact if she did, it would inevitably end up in a few new scars or bruises. The last thing she needed was getting in trouble again.

Lol The only students I have left open are my meaner students xD I'll drop a few replies for various characters, and you can reply to whichever character you wish to interact with DD))

Vivian Grace turned down the same hall that Madeline and Alice were now in, accompanied by her goth friend, Mavis Prior. The two giggled.
"Oh, and Lucy's hair looked totally sprayed. Did you see how thick her makeup was? It was like she applied it with crayons," Vivian spat, invoking a cackle from Mavis at her snide remark towards a girl named Lucy.
"She's a total try-hard, a real tramp, if you ask me. She' no doubt trying to woo Leo, like all the girls in this school. Sure, the guy's hot, but if you ask me... He's kinda weird for my taste. I've had him in a lot of my classes since he takes all the top classes. He's actually a real nerd," she whispered to Vivian, causing the popular girl to scoff.
"Hey, lay off of Leo! If you actually hung out with him, you would know he's actually pretty cool. So what if he's a nerd and a little weird, aren't we all?" she replied back a bit defensively. It was clear she had a huge crush on the most popular guy in school.
Mavis made a face at Vivian, stopping in her tracks. "Really? You don't think they guy's even a little strange?" But deep down, Mavis knew why Leo was strange, and it stirred an intense sort of attraction to him within her. She could smell his blood all the way from across the school and know who he was. But of course, she kept that quiet.
Vivian sighed and rolled her eyes. "Okay, fine. He's a little weird. But all that matters is how hot he is, I mean, just LOOK AT HIM the next time you see him. It's no wonder all the girls practically kiss his ass," she giggled out again, and Mavis cackled once more. The two girls had requested their lockers to be side-by-side, grouped with Jonas's group's lockers. They unlocked the doors.
"Why are we even using these?" Mavis asked with disgust as she fiddled with the lock on hers, which was clearly worn. After practically yanking the door off of its hinges, she finally scoffed and punched it. "The damn thing won't even open! Dumb-ass school... They can't even replace the shitty equipment. Hey, how about we skip class and find out where exactly Leo is? First days are blow-offs, anyway." Se gave a devious grin.
Vivian laughed and closed her locker door right after having opened it, meeting her friend's eyes wryly. "I thought you just said he was weird?" she cooed playfully.
Mavis rolled her eyes. "Yeah, he's weird, but he's still eye-candy as fuck. Come on, I know you can't resist the chance to skip out on these dumbass classes..." She cocked an eyebrow slyly and grinned wryly.

Shortly after the bell had rang, Coach Haemon Fractis left the gym to make a quick trip to the bathroom. He whistled to himself as he strode down the hall, attempting to fix the watch around his wrist, which had stopped working during first period. He scoffed and groaned. "Damn thing... I told Daemon the watch was too cheap. He's such a damn penny-pincher..." he muttered under his breath and a couple of giggling girls passed by him and waved.
"Hiii~, Coach Fractis," one of them purred.
Haemon gave them a bright grin and waved back, causing the girls to flush and screech under their breaths excitedly. "He's so hot!" one of them cried, then they both turned to look at his muscular backside and bit their bottom lips. Haemon heard them and rolled his eyes.
"Crazy teenaged girls... All raging hormones and gossip-lovers," he muttered under his breath with a slight smile. "Ah well. Let them rage," he sighed, then slipped into the men's restroom. After all, he was only 20 years old, and had just come out of being a teenager himself.

Rosalie was sitting at the receptionist desk inside the office now that classes had begun already. She swapped between the office secretary and front secretary positions, since the school had yet to find a front secretary. She was typing up an email to Krioff, Ariao's uncle. After the report on the poor girl's father having been imprisoned, she was quick to email him about her living situation and how she was holding up. She was also the school's counselor, and considered emailing parents and guardians an important part of her job. Her email to him read:
Good morning, Krioff Gavin. This is Rosalie Willow, the secretary and counselor of Cywood City High School. I was contacting you in regards to your niece, Ariao Gavin. As the counselor of this wonderful school, I feel responsible for keeping in touch with students of interest and their guardians. I heard about your brother's arrest on the news, and I apologize if mentioning it offends you in any way, but it is because of that particular event that I have taken it upon myself to contact you. I am genuinely concerned about your niece, and want to know if there is anything I can do for her to help her during this hardship. Please, let me know how I can be of service to her. Thank you, sincerely, R.W.
Once she sent the message, Rosalie gave a quiet sigh and leaned back in her chair, reading it over to herself. Indeed, she truly was concerned about Ariao Gavin. She debated calling Ariao into the office to speak with her, but couldn't act on that thought before Spencer suddenly came in. He saw him wave, eyes lighting up. Oh, good, finally! A student who seeks my guidance, she thought to herself, quickly standing and hurrying to her office to tend to him.

Madeline gasped and nearly dropped her supplies when Alice ran into her. She turned quickly to face her, feeling an ounce of anxiety inch into her chest at having to interact with any other person - especially after having overheard the incredibly loud gossiping of Mavis and Vivian at the end of the hall. Her gaze dropped down to the book that had fallen from Alice's grasp and distracted her for a moment. She glanced up at Alice hesitantly before she slowly bent down to grab the book. Once it was in her hands, she shyly offered it back to her, face twisting with a bit of panic. She knew humans to be terrible people, but strangely enough, this girl seemed to be one of her kind. She could feel the red energy radiating off of her.

(Yeah, I've kinda been getting that feeling too, Wolf. They seem like they mesh well together. :) )

Ariao tensed a bit at his offer to get to know her better. Was that a chance she really wanted to take right now, especially with Mr. Popular here? She looked up into his eyes, her gaze searching for something, though of what, she wasn't sure. She had just reached into her pocket when she froze, a flicker of Arianna coming to the front of her mind. It was a popular rumor around school that the two of them were together, and Arianna was also a big follower of Jonas. "You sure your girlfriend wouldn't mind?" she asked coldly, feeling a slight mix of hurt and jealousy wash over her. For the love of...Why does that thought hurt so much? What about Spencer? What happened to that? But she knew the answer to that. Ever since the trial, she couldn't help but compare some of the similarities between how her friend acted...and how her father would flatter and soothe her after....Whatever that little static spark had been went straight to my head, apparently. "Because if you missed the little show back there, Jonas and I don't get along and Arianna is part of that little following." She took a small step back and crossed her arms over her chest.

Travis gave a smirk when she reached out her hand to him. The second they made contact skin-to-skin, red sparks crackled on his arm, sending a shiver down his spine as a soft red glow folded over them. So it is true. You are my Soulmate.... He thought, a soft hum filling the space between them as the link formed and the visions of their future together shot through his head.

Jonas narrowed his eyes when Rana asked for his name. "Jonas Angelo." He huffed, glaring at Brandy since he partially blamed her for them being here. He had seen how she was all buddy-buddy with one of that Gavin girl's guard dogs and it sickened him.
(Just to clarify: no, Jonas doesn't know about the Mythical at this point. Avery, Penelope, and Spencer have protecting her for so long now that he's taken to calling them her guard dogs.)

Krioff stretched his arms in the air as he descended the steps to the courthouse. They had finally finished up another trial, slowly working on taking out the connections they got from his brother's so-called business. But as he was quickly finding out, the Shadow Wolves Organization was a tough nut to crack, since all they had to go off of were the letters that Ariao had found in that secret room. Just as he reached his motorcycle, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. If it's another lead, Alexander, you couldn't have timed that better if you tried. He thought, pulling out his phone. With a frown, he saw it was an e-mail from someone named Rosalie Willow. Wondering if they had sent the message to the wrong person, he opened it up to see what the content was, though it wasn't long before his eyes closed and he let out a heavy sigh. Of course it's about that, he thought, I should have kept her, really made sure she was alright before going through this. Though he knew he had to reply, he hesitated. After what felt like a lifetime, he finally typed out a quick response.
I don't honestly know if talking to anyone is something she'd do. She hints at things, but asking for details is hard concerning her relationship with her father. Even I don't know all the details. The closest I've come is that there was some type of abuse, but after that, she clams up. I know this might seem like a tall order, but if nothing else, I'd like to ask that you allow one of her three friends to be in all her classes. Avery Long, Penelope Harris, and Spencer Mercer have been with her through it and seem to be the ones she talks to the most, the ones that actually stuck with her.
Pressing send, he lifted a hand and rubbed at his eyes. This was going to be a long day, knowing he had yet another lure to follow after this latest trial. "Jobs involving the courts are never easy." He smirked as he pocketed his phone and put on his helmet.

(hey guys! I've got a doctor's appointment and today's my last day before flying out to college so I'll do my best to respond when I can)

Not too far from Mavis and Vivian, Asuto could be seen sorting things into his locker. This was really his first and quite possibly his only year in a public school considering his history with being homeschooled due to his father's choice in keeping him from going to public schools. Hearing the gossip between the two girls made him sick, but what other pass time did they have other than gossiping? With a loud sigh, he slammed his locker shut after putting everything back. He knew he was late for class, but what did that matter if he couldn't pass through the hall without bumping into them?

The Native narrowed her eyes for a moment before taking the leather bound notebook back from Madeline, turning her head away from making contact with her she almost growled for a moment but it was too brief to notice, "Thanks." She managed to get out though it was harsh. She knew if she was anywhere near anyone another fight would break out, she also needed some excuse to get out of this god forsaken school, it was really suffocating her mind.

A few feet from Asuto's locker, Cynthia scoffed, hearing the gossip as well. Though she had to admit that she thought Leo was good looking herself, she just considered herself a passive fan of his, especially since she was a year younger, rather than the rabid schoolgirls walking behind her. Slamming her locker harder than she intended to, she closed her eyes and let out a sigh before turning towards her next class, Math.

Asuto almost jumped at how Cynthia had slammed her locker, he glanced over at her. Was she having a bad day or something? School really is a scary place if every little noise would startle him. Considering how he dressed, he wouldn't fare well with many of the students here for long. He hoped that maybe he would find a few nicer students to form connections with. Cynthia also intrigued him for a moment as he watched her. Taking a small glance at his schedule he checked for his next class. The numbering of the rooms were confusing him. With another loud sigh he decided to follow after Cynthia, "Er.... Excuse me..." He spoke rather quietly but loud enough that he had hopes that she heard him.

Cynthia didn't seem to hear Asuto, unaware that the boy was following her as she tried to make her way to class. "141...141..." she mumbled, her eyes scanning the door numbers as she passed.

Frowning at that, Asuto then narrowed his eyes. "Excuse me." He said two octaves louder hoping this time she would hear him. Watching her with intrigue, would she notice this time?

"140..." Cynthia jumped slightly and whirled around in surprise. "1....Can I help you?" She asked, blinking. How long had this guy been following her?

"Er.... Could you help me find my next class?" Asuto looked slightly hopeful that she would help. He didnt want to interact with many people just yet so he added, "If you don't thats fine... I can ask someone else."

"If nothing else, I can point you in the direction you need. What class is it?" Cynthia asked with a shrug. She still had a little time before class started, but it was starting to be cut close.
