Fantasy Lifeweb Academy: School For The Magical

Mitchs98

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
Day 1 8 AM

Another year passed, and another year starts. With the passing year more rumors started up about the dissapearances that occur at Lifeweb Academy. Of course all of them are swept under the rug as mere rumors, no one would exactly believe them anyway. In reality however, as usual, around a 1/4th of the students had dissapeared with absolutely no trace. Though, of course, Headmaster Grey simply explained to the rest that they left on their own accord followed by some other bullshit excuse.

Today would be the first day of the new school year, all of the new students would be arriving shortly for orientation. The old students would of course also be there to familiarize themselves with their new classmates and potential room mates. Classes for the day have been cancelled as a means for the students to get to know the layout of the school fully. Directly after orientation lunch would be held early.

A podium and a small stage wherein Headmaster Grey and the professors sat was placed in front of dozens of rows of chairs meant for the students. Standing in the middle was Grey with his everpresent smile on his face, scanning the crowd for the years first test subject as the students arrived.

Blake - seating area

Blake was actually excited for today. All new people to meet, no classes! Ugh, it was the best! Fixing up his clothes for a nice casual look, he deemed he should go for a regular human identity.

Making his way to the seating, he took the form of the headmaster himself. Why not? It might get a good chuckle out of some people. He took a seat near the middle. It would be right where almost anyone could see him.

Oh buddy. I can't wait for lunch. Gotta get me the headmaster special!

@anyone cus why not?

Cyrus looked around as he made his way through the crowd to grab a seat. People were glaring at him as if to ask what he was doing here.

"Great," he muttered to himself. "You forgot the number rule of blending in. Having the same clothes. Can't believe I forgot to steal nice clothes for this damn school."

Despite his lack of camouflage, he decided to do what he did best to get rid of his anxiety. Steal. Looking at the seats he saw the headmaster sitting near the middle. Perfect. Stealing from the top boss on day one. Good way to start off the year.

He walked right behind him and with swift hands got a...slingshot? The absurdity of the item made Cyrus stop in his tracks, directly left of the headmaster.

Solbi unwillingly made her way into the room, hovering just above the ground as her race did. She scanned the room, not particularly impressed with anyone there. She took a random seat simply because she had to. Otherwise, she wouldn't even be here. It wasn't like she needed to be told where she was or what they did here, after all. So the entire orientation seemed like it would be superfluous, to say the least. Arms casually crossed, she slouched in her chair just enough to be comfortable. She swung her legs up and put her feet on the chair in front of her to put herself in a relaxing position. She didn't necessarily care what others thought of her anyway. Out of seemingly nowhere, she grabbed a book and began to read it from where she left off, resting it on her bent legs. At least she could temporarily escape the drab that was the orientation.

Varien Weiss

Varien sighed, becoming uncomfortable in the warm enviorment of the seating area. Patiently, the man waited for the headmaster to begin his speach. To pass the time, Varien fiddled with his magic, freezing his hand solid before letting the ice fade away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Skye
The air was nice this time of year, so why wasn't Skye flying high up, enjoying it? Well, he was stuck in this stuffy auditorium, waiting for some old man to begin his speach. However, this wasn't just any old man. He was the headmaster of Lifeweb Academy, a school that he will be attending from now on to improve his skill in the art of magic. With a groan, he leaned back in his seat, bringing one leg up to rest on the other as he waited, growing more and more agitated by the minute.
Blake - seating
Blake turned to see someone just standing up in the middle of the seats. He looked confused and Blake just loved to mess with people. In his mimicked voice for the HeadMaster he spoke out the him. Gregory! Sit down child or will I have to give you detention before class even starts? He made it way over dramatic while talking. His blank eyes prevalent since he couldn't change eyes yet. No, I want you to give me 5. He stuck out his hand waiting for the guy to high five.
Gregory?
Cyrus looked at the headmaster's hand. A 5? Obviously this isn't the headmaster of the most prestigious magic school if he's asking for a high five. So why does he look like the headmaster? Magic. Obviously. Come on Cyrus. Should I give him his slingshot back? No. He didn't notice yet. Perhaps I should toy with him too. No. That's stupid. What can you do? Be honest.
"Good try. Maybe you should wait until I give you a reaction before you step out of character," he said smiling coldly. "Also, shouldn't the headmaster of this magic school maybe know who his students are? Keep track of who everyone is and what powers and stuff they have? I'm not Gregory." He smiled again, keeping the slingshot behind his back.
Zelika
A three dimensional shadow of a girl walked through the seats, passing almost completely unnoticed. Then, in the blink of an eye, stood a white haired girl dressed in a black tee-shirt and a black sweat pants, with a large, blood red scarf covering most of the lower half of her face. She was also wearing a compact, red backpack with her gauntlets strapped on either side of it. She sat down on the third row from the podium and leaned back on the chair, closing her eyes and preparing to have a nap.
Blake - seating area
Ahh dude, come on. lighten up.
He said with a wide grin. His body changed into Cyrus' now but still held a grin. I don't care about all that. I was just looking for one of those freak out moments. Obviously someone isn't as caught off guard as a lot are. Still! High five for a good game? Still holding out his hand in a high five manner. Even if the guy was a party pooper, Blake didn't really care. The guy seemed alright as is. Still, he was anticipating food since he had gotten up a little earlier than normal. A whole day to pretty much do what ever you want? That's all he really wanted.
Solbi was rather annoyed that people near her were already being obnoxious. This was going to be the longest meeting she had ever attended. So, she threw a book at the most obnoxious one (Blake). As soon as it hit (assuming it hits), it was back in her possession, and she was reading it like nothing had ever even happened. She was at a good part in the plot, and she wasn't about to let her projectile go to waste. All she could hope for was that they took the hint and shut up so she could continue reading in this drab of an auditorium.
Alicia Red
Alicia couldn't believe she actually decided to go through with joining the academy. Large crowds made her nervous, especially large crowds of things that weren't fairy, so she wasn't sure how she'd be able to live here for the next few years at all. Currently the only thing allowing her to do so was her excitement overrulling her fear. She was currently in her fairy form to hopefully be inconspicious to the crowd, at least for now. She'd have to face them eventually..but still.
She'd flown the entire way here so she was extremely tired. She needed to land soon but the question was where? They'd trample her if she landed on the ground, or sit on her if she landed on a chair. Next best thing was landing on someone, she guessed. She looked around for someone that didn't really seem to be paying attention, quickly finding someone that was reading a book. Why not them?
Flying over she gently landed on their shoulder, hoping she didn't notice, before lighting sighing and sitting down with her legs crossed.
S.034 was bored, sitting with everyone else in the large room with a podium did not sit well with her, and she much rather go back to her dorm room and sit there for the rest of the day, drawing and what not. Her face was rather void, her eyes a bit narrowed and her mouth hanging in a lopsided frown.
She looked around the large space and sighed.
'How did the last Alena enjoy this I have no idea.' She thought puffing a lock of hair out of her face. She seemed very annoyed, and she was.
Now, looking at a mirror of himself holding his hand out for a high five, Cyrus got a little more agitated. I don't want attention on myself. Bad enough my clothes are rough looking. No need for a second me.
He decided to give his mirror the high five. "There, now stop looking like me," he said, noticing a book hit the person in front of him and noticing that book disappear by to the owner's hand. He was momentarily surprised, but even more so when he saw a fairy land on the girl's shoulder. Holy...that's a fairy. Never seen one before.
Refocusing on the person in front of him, before waiting for an answer, Cyrus handed the slingshot to the person in front of him. "Here's your slingshot. You should probably notice when someone's taken it from you. I'm going to sit down, people are bothered by me still standing," he said, walking away and sitting down a little farther away before his clone could react.
He heard a puff next to him, and looked to see a very annoyed looking girl. Great.
Zelika
Zelika stood back up. She walked around a bit, getting quite a bit bored with all this waiting. She noticed a strange looking girl sitting a couple of rows away from her, a girl with red pupils and black scleroses. She slipped past the chairs and seats all ninja style, and was sitting next to the girl in seconds. A reddish-brown haired guy standing next to them. "Hello," Zelika said to both of them at the same time. "So, what brings you to this school?" She grabbed one of her small, non-lethal shurikens and started to play with it with one of her hands, not looking at the two people she was adressing.
Blake
He was happy to get the high five but was then caught off guard by the book hitting him. He rubbed the back of he head while looking to who hit him. Well that was rude. Turning back the Cyrus, he was instantly given his slingshot and then requested to not look like him. Before Blake could speak, the guy had already left. Yeesh, people need to learn how to take a joke. He looked around and saw the person who hit him with a book. On the shoulder was a fairy.
Taking the form of a bigger version of the fairy, he walked up to both of them. He didn't have a voice to the form so he simply waved.
Alicia Red
No more than a minute or two at most after she'd landed on the girls' shoulder did she see the weirdest thing, a bigger sized version of herself with weird creepy eyes. Really that was the only thing that seperate the two other than size. Nonetheless she was creeped out yet curious at the same time, though she also wondered if it was some kind of trap to eat her or something. It'd happened before, plus she wasn't entirely to sure on humans or otherwise humanoid creatures dietary needs. For all she knew fairies could be some kind of delicay. In the end she stood up and cautiously moved back to stand beside Solbi's face. "
U-Um...Hi." She told her clone, followed by a small wave. "What are you?" She asked.
Surprisingly when he first walked in the auditorium he saw someone throwing a book across the room. He chuckles at the fact. He wasn't expecting this upon his arrival. He looked around the room spotting two headmasters. One on the stage and the other in the middle set of seats. Hmm, obviously that's a shifter. I don't think he'll get many people work that joke. He continued looking around and he spots a fairy resting on a girl's shoulders. Surprisingly it was the girl who threw the book. He walks over towards the girls and takes a seat next to them. He looks towards the girl who threw the book. You know what you did a couple of seconds ago wasn't very nice. He pauses, then smiles. It was funny though. He said with a chuckle. @Mitchs98 @Kazehana
Solbi hardly noticed the fairy since she was trying to focus on her book. But eventually, it made a noise, alerting her to its existence. She looked up, seeing some other fairy as well. "Prithee, what dost thou want? Canst thou seest I am busy?" she demanded, slightly agitated that she was unable to continue with her book for the time being. Upon apparently yet another arrival, she almost gave up on ever being able to read. "What dost thou wanst? Doth no one understand that I am trying to read?" she groaned in frustration. She just wanted to at least finish her chapter! How rude were these people?
@like everyone omg
Skye
"Chill it out princess." Said Skye, his foot tapping at an increased speed. "We're in a crowded space, people are bound to be noisy." He said as he reached back and scratched one of his black wings impatiently.
@Kazehana
With glee, he spoke in the fairies voice. I'm you from the future! I came back in time because some bad stuff is gonna happen. He said with a small chuckle. He could be in character but that's not very fun. We grow up to be so big. Crazy right? He caught wind of another face making his way over to the fairy and book thrower. Blake would get to them in due time.
~Lawrence and Respen~
"Wake up, sleepyhead!"
The elf lightly hit the fairy across the head with a pillow. The fairy moaned and turned away from him. The elf didn't give up. "It's......time......for....school!" He pounced on him.
"Gah!" Lawrence let out an alarmed shout. "Respen!"
Respen didn't respond; he grabbed Lawrence by the foot and dragged him out. "Come on, little brother, time won't stop for you!"
"Get off......get oooooooooff." Lawrence shoved Respen away. "'M awake, 'm awake."
"Brilliant!" Respen grabbed Lawrence's hand and practically leapt out of the room, running as fast as he could to the assembly. "I sense a faint feeling of irritation from you, brother. Do you not want to go to school?"
"Not in my pajamas!"
"What are you talking about? You slept in your clothes last night."
The two of them skidded to a stop. The whole place was crowded, of course. Respen let go of Lawrence, who floated as far as he could away from him.
"Never....." He gasped, laying backwards in his pillow. ".......do that.....again......"
Caine and Arisu Seriya
The two had been loitering around in the seating area around a crowd of rather noisy people, though they didn't seem to mind. They were standing beside one another, since sitting was a bit uncomfortable for Arisu with her large wings. Caine could see that his sister was being examined by others, most likely because of her wings that were slowly becoming tainted from his constant presence. The opposite was happening to Caine as well, the one streak of white hair clearly visible. He laid a hand on his sisters head, petting her head as he always did. It made her feel safe and calm.
@Whoever wants to interact because these two are otherwise going to be forever alone
Solbi's irritation grew as someone was mocking him. "What sayest thou? Thou.. thou detestable knave! I don't have to put up with thee. Leavest wi' thy wretched visage!" she spat, turning attention back to the 'large fairy'. "Goest thou hence!" she demanded, not in the mood for any of this. All she wanted to do was read, not have to deal with these weird creatures. She left the other two alone mainly because they weren't necessarily bothering her, but she wouldn't hesitate to do so should the need arise.
"Oh, look, Lawrence," Respen said cheerily, practically dragging Lawrence to two empty seats next to a brother and sister. "Isn't that fascinating? A demon and an angel as siblings! Greetings, I am Respen Arcturus Blackwood," he greeted the siblings. "The quiet one over here is my brother, Lawrence. He's a little shy, this is his first time being around so many people—" Lawrence let out an audible squeak. "Isn't he lovely? He doesn't wish to be here, most likely because I rudely woke him up, especially since he prefers staying asleep because he has confidence issues and—MMPH!" At that point, Lawrence covered Respen's mouth.
"Please shut up," he muttered, gritting his teeth and turning away from his brother.
