will everyone be put into one big group or like sectioned off (depending on how many we get) because roleplaying in an (IC) area with 7 people and possibly expected to answer and acknowledge all of them sounds terrifying.

and anotha: a newb question, not about the roleplay, but how do u tag people? I've seen some of you do it a couple times here but

hey, i’m finally home and able to answer a few questions:

this won’t be based around any dnd campaigns. it isn’t really like dnd at all and dice are used just to make major decisions within the rp like: whether or not the chars die all together, minor injuries, or no injuries — as well as a possible individual character death.

depending on how many people are in, we will divide the missions into two groups: each group will have their own task, then yes throughout plot progression posts, they will then be able to all reconvene and fight, etc. the groups will be decided by us or even just by generator.

there will also be a mission sign up since i know that not everyone will be able to join every mission. if you have any more questions just let me know.

edit: regarding character deaths; again, it won’t be permanent, however with every time they do come back to life there will be consequence.

secondary edit: this will mostly be play by post, but in the disc you can ask away in regards to missions/what to do/etc.

and i love imagining what chaos could come from a generated party... terrifying, and yet... in love.

i was thinking of using reacts as a way for sign up so it’s less cluttered and the missions channel won’t get flooded. we might also determine another way that would be easier, but as of now, this seems like the best system.

and i've had some roleplays use the reaction system for missions too! it works extremely well! it definitely helps with coordination rather than just saying offhand that you want to join in and it getting misplaced.
