Dice Kazragun - OOC

I feel like my character is merely there as a support. Her lacking strength harms her ability to trip or disarm using her whip and ultimately she's just a pretty face that lies like a rug.

Still a whip at the right moment can distract an opponent and allow a scary lizard to take a bite out of it.

Dare I say Detective Lizard will take a bite out of crime? Or is that joke too old for the assembled crowd?

Yeah, I'll take that and lose 1 Ac. It's better than having to take a hit for the point of using a masterwork whip.

just remember to stay behind a wall or two of meat and you'll be fine, whips have reach anyways.

if you want, i can recromend you the trait acestral weapon, if allows you to get proficeny with one weapon and the weapon itself, you can get it masterwork but not if the total price goes over 350 gold.

the scorpion whip,

scroll down to exotic light weapons, it should be the last one on the respective lsit, it's like your whip but does lethal damage, along with the fact it can do damage through armor and natural armor.

with it being only 5 gold, you can easily get a masterwork one, plus if you have weapon finesse you can use it with your dex bonus to attack, think of it kind of like a sword whip, doesn't do much damage but trip and reach is a deadly combo.

thank you. I was looking for a whip that did lethal damage but was having issues. Having it masterwork balances out my ability to at least land an attack with it until I can get that feat second. :)  I wanted her to be this cocky whip using woman so you've made my night.

Aight so as of right now we've got everyone save for the eventual wizard, although I'm not sure if he's interested or not as he hasn't made a character quickly.

I also just did some reading online because you pointed it out. So, I apparently don't even need the ancestral weapon as being proficient with the Whip makes you proficient with the scorpion whip. At least that's the ruling I've seen, I leave it ultimately up to @Silanon to decide. It also apparently has a longer range than the regular whip and thus, I'm pumped.

Also a scary thought came over me when I was looking at the sheets one more time, Baird is the most charismatic and intelligent. I was not envisioning him as the party face though.

@Kiroshiven @Dicer @Ritzy @Sherwood @Silanon @Orikanyo

I just wasn't willing to sacrifice enough to give Fi an 18 for Charisma as I wanted her to survive more. However, she's a better liar than Baird will ever be and I can always rearrange a skill so that she can be the face. I mean, I bet she looks better than our sorcerer. Just sayin.

Well would you prefer a scary lizard with a reptilian outlook to be the group face? Gotta admit that thought gave me shivers.

True that, Baird's more geared towards diplomacy and avoiding fights. he doesn't usually like lying.

Fi had rich parents. So 305 gold was nothing. She just starts with 233 gold instead of 237. Yay for the con artist parents.

true true, glad I can help.

I've pretty much searched every single corner of that site I sent yea to, done so many builds of character I'll never be able to use....

had we not needed a ranegd character I'd probably stuck with a cavalier type, tend to float that direction more often then not.

If you want I can still rework Fi into a gunslinger. A gunslinger kitsune would be pretty cool.

All these fancified folk. Some of us had to work for a living. You know how hard Cleric School is? One wrong word in Summon Monster and BAM! Devil. Do you know how much devil blood stains? Some of us had to do the wash afterwards.

To Aeon, everyone not born a slave is richer than he ever was. Better to beg for charity than face daily beatings because you were a moment too late with the Master's wine.

Oh not a bard, the actual cavalier class.

Go right ahead with your bard.

I knew what you meant. I was saying I could go ranged if you wanted to go for the cavalier. I also thought about making a hobgoblin Samurai. "Face me mortal for my Lord has ordered your death!" Would be an awesome thing to say when he challenged a lich or something. Lol.

I'm banned from making Clerics. The last one I had became possessed by Urgathoa and broke the game. Literally destroyed all of the player characters and the town they were in. She even survived Urgo leaving her body. That was one tough Gnome. She later on was used as a villain by our DM in another campaign. She was deemed "The Voice of Death" by the villagers. I was never more proud of a character as to when my party all barely survived the fight with her and she merely laughed before dying.

Ah, sorry.

I've already made the character, can't rightly change if were gona be starting anytime soon.

In 3.5 I was a healing maniac. Cleric of Pelor all the way. Radiant Servant of Pelor almost every time. Until we got a new guy and we foisted healing duties onto him. He was a fairly good cleric, but didn't know how to use them like I did. Many times he said. "But I didn't prepare any healing spells!" and my friends would look at me with pleading eyes and I would say "Nope. Screw you guys, that's what you get for making me play the damned cleric for a year and a half." He was also our medic for d20 modern. He bashed in the skull of someone important. Then he rolled a nat 1 on his heal check. "Blood go back in!" is still a chant they said before a healing roll.
