Dice Kazragun - OOC

Just so it is known, I am keeping a file with things I feel would be part of Veskassdak's language and customs. This way I can be consistent with his interactions. Also, as I make up new stuff, I'll add that to the file also. This is why I like playing a non-standard race or culture!

Reminds me a bit of a Drow I once played - leaves a lot of space to add in things of your imagination, really. Even though the campain died out rather quickly, I still managed to fill quite a few pages with small things like these.

Had to edit my last post. Forgot to add Veskassdak's unique way of speaking.

Any more contributions, or shall I move us further along the path? Regardless of which path you choose: Who leads the party, and who goes second? Until this point, I imagined Vess and Bairn being in front, but our cleric seemed quite eager to step up.

I'm sadly still tied up with midterms and errands.

I'm sorry for the silence.

Veskassdak will lead the way into the swamp. That way he can react faster and point out any hazards the rest of the group can avoid. Plus he has the most hit points.

Aeon's sticking close to Wren. Seeing the noble playing soilder and ending up in a field hospital will make him worry for her, so...right in front of her?

Honestly he has a bit of a low opinion of nobles and while he respects her for wanting to help, he's yet to see her in combat.

Indeed. Nobles who will put themselves on the line to fight are very few and far between in the pathfinder universe. Although nobody apart from Aeon knows that she is one. That is why Baird is so interested in why Wren and Aeon are chatting off in their own group so much.

@Kiroshiven: Haven't heard anything for a while - how are things looking right now? Hope you're feeling better! If you're in the mood to post, feel free to post a pre-initiative action as well. If not, no worries - just let me know and I'll leave Fi out of the action until things look brighter.

Thanks. I'm sorry that I'm I've been out of commission lately.

We all understand that Real Life comes first.  We'll be here once you are back on the 'net.

@SherwoodShouldn't the bonus be +5? +4 due to Dex since you have weapon finesse, +2 for flanking, +1 for mastercraft, but -2 for dual wielding due to the other feat. Or am I missing something there? Not that it matters this time - the second roll was just too bad to hit anything - just double-checking for the future.

I believe you are correct. I must have miscalculated.

No problem - just wanted to make sure I didn't overlook anything. Thanks for including the exact rolls, though :)

I've adjusted/updated my character sheet to include the modifiers for melee combating while raging. The rage modifiers are in the brackets. The only things I didn't modify were Veskassdak's hit points, which goes up to 17, and his armor class, which goes down to 14.  If we weren't in difficult terrain, I would've added the modifiers for charging. Can't charge in difficult terrain.  Just to be clear, Veskassdak either fights with his club and his bite secondary attack or his bite and 2 claws, both use the primary attack modifiers.

Just as a quick note, Wren will always try to maneuver to maintain a flanking position on an enemy with another player, to be able to effectively use my Sneak Attack.

I'm hoping Fin manages to kill Alli 1, that way Aeon can Bless Wren and hopefully help kill the other gator. I'm mapping out a plan as we go. These things must be fluid.

Im being the buffer atm as I don't want to spend a turn reloading a crossbow nor can I actually do any combat spells yet.

I'll usually assume that you'll try to get the bonus. Same for other boni - although most of them will likely be obvious from your descriptions.

Pretty much worked out - I took the alligator from the list as it poses no threat anymore, but you may still spend your action to kill it off.

precise shot, if your gona be majorly ranged it's a definite choice.

a -4 is crippling, espeacially at lower levels.

I'm a tad busy. Bless gives one to attack and damage right? If so hell do that if not magic weapon on one of Wren's swords

Bless: +1 on attack rolls and saves vs fear. Is that convenient, or do you want to go for the weapon? No need to hurry btw, you can just get a post up when you got time - I'll vanish for hopefully eight hours of sleep anyway in a few moments.

Certainly counted the precise shot in - just a damn useful one, makes you avoid a ton of missed shots.

bless is nicer since it's a burst as opposed to a single target(or am i confusing it with the 5th ed version?)

Bless is a 1min- team-buff at the moment (all allies in 50ft radius). No idea what it does in 5ed, only played a few sessions on that.
