Veteran Lurker
Zatanna began to listen to Superman's announcement as Impulse once again darted in front of her, thanking her for casting the spell. She gave him a friendly smile, but before she knew it he was gone again, just as expected.
So it seemed like they were getting a tour, which Zatanna remembered her father mention earlier. Seemed alright with her, especially considering there would be a party afterward. So she followed Superman and the rest of her new teachers up a flight of stairs and onto the surface of the island.
She felt a tinge of disappointment as Nightwing seemed to start to walk away pretty quickly. Oh well, they'd only been there for under an hour and she could probably have plenty of time to see him pretty soon. The place seemed alright, though. Of all the places for her school to be, it could get a lot worse than a warm sunny island with pretty much everything a teenage superhero would want on an island this size. She took more than a glance at Wally, but decided not to talk to him yet.
Zatanna made her way to her room, which happened to be the first room on the first floor. Next to the door was a sign displaying her name along with one other: "Koriand'r." The name didn't ring any bells, and it sounded foreign; so foreign that Zatanna had no idea where she could be from. She knocked on the door but to no response, so she assumed that her roommate was probably late and opened the door to her room. Sure, it wasn't Shadowcrest, but she'd make it work for now. At some point she would probably be able to make a portal anyway. She sat down on her bed, took off her hat and placed it upside down, and sighed, "Kcapnu," causing her belongings to levitate out of the extradimensional space inside her hat and find a space in her wardrobe, drawers and shelves. She stared out the window into the open sea, waiting to her roommate and trying to get used to her new home. So far, it seemed like she could get used to it.
