Superman shifted on his feet as he saw the next arrival - Supergirl. He didn't know why he was so nervous around her...it was almost as if she wasn't quite real to him. He still couldn't believe they had found each other. But they had, and he didn't know how to handle it. Thankfully for him, there was a lot going on, and he didn't have to address her right now.

Bart stopped struggling and Barry set him down, and he zoomed off towards Zatanna. "Oh yeah, that was fun!" he agreed. "We should totally do it again sometime!" He watched her trick, wide-eyes, watching the doves fly away. "Cool trick!!"

Barry rolled his eyes at his nephew's implications, seeing where he had been looking, and watched as he went to introduce himself. He raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms but said nothing...fastest man alive, huh? He watched carefully as a fight seemed to be breaking out between the kids, and was prepared to jump in, but before anything could get serious Ambush Bug disappeared. He looked over to the other faculty members, wondering if they should go find him. "I'll take care of him. I'm sure Arkham will have an open cell," spoke up the Martian Manhunter, who promptly disappeared.

Bart had no idea what was happening but all these people were so cool! And everyone seemed to be introducing themselves - Nightwing and Supergirl were the new ones he'd have to remember. Although Supergirl was pretty obvious given the outfit. "Hey guys I'm Impulse!! Not sure why they call me that. My real name is Bart Allen and the Flash is my grandpa and Kid Flash is my cousin! I'm from the future!!" he explained excitedly, pointing to his respective family members as he mentioned them. He was thrilled that he could share his secret identity with these people (he could right?). He was so tired of having to hide everything all the time.

Had she made the right decision? Is it the best option to contact the league and attend school like some sort of ordinary earthlings? But in the end, it's not like anybody would help her with her..father issues anyways. She let out a small sigh and gripped the sides of her dark blue robes, finding comforts in the darkness and concealing protection it provides. Is it really wise to meet out in a park? The way kids squealed and stare at her screams no. A big no.

Not long she saw the unfamiliar back of Wonder Woman, suddenly the awkward tension she felt being around with kids her age and younger were replaced by peaceful ones. She's pretty sure it was because of her empathy, the woman must be feeling peaceful around the area. "I'm sorry for being late." she looked at Wonder Woman's black locks hoping that she wasn't too dazed staring at the people in the park and didn't notice the young empath. She saw people started staring at them, either they figured out that the famous Wonder Woman was right in front of them or they were just admiring Raven's fashion sense which consists of a dark hooded robe and a pair of white gloves.

"Umm, should we be going now?" her face and voice remained calm as she questioned Wonder Woman.

Damian Wayne

Damian had been a wreck all day. Wandering the house, expression thunderous. Even his 'siblings', who were usually pestering him endlessly, had been avoiding. Either that or they weren't even at the manor. Despite his love of knowing what's happening (an issue of control, he had been told. By whom was not important. They were no longer in a fit state to speak), he honestly had no idea.

See, most kids start attending school at age 5, or thereabouts. When he was 5, he was ripping hearts out of grown men's bodies. Even in the two years he had spent with the bats, he had yet to attend a school. And so, this was an insult to his intelligence. And also a big day for him. He was, though he would never admit it even to himself, scared. Terrified even. His view of schools came purely from media.

It didn't look nice. And he knew he wasn't good at making friends. He was much better at making enemies. He could count his friends on one hand! And most of them were animals. And what if it was like the training he had received with the League of Assasons. God, he was weak and pathetic but he did not want to do that again.

Damian stopped. He took a breath. He meditated. He calmed down.

The door bell rang.

Damian walked down the stairs from his room slowly. He had already bid farewell to his friends, down in the batcave. His bags were at the door. He was ready.

~~~
They traveled in terse silence. Damian was fuming. Aquaman was apologetic, sympathetic, and scared for his life. The young boy was a time bomb, he felt. About to explode. And explode he did.
"I can't believe this! Where the hell is Batman!" He broke, voice not quite but near yelling. In the small car the two were traveling in, it sounded a lot louder then it was.
"I'm sorry, Robin." The older man replied.
Robin pouted. Aquaman inwardly squealed, but kept his mouth shut.
"It's not fair."
"He had other matters to attend to. He apologized." He didn't, but the king of Atlantis was not admitting it.
The silence continued for a minute.
"He's the worst father dad ever! I hate him!" The boy sounded uncharacteristically childish.
Aquaman stayed silent. He knew not to push his luck with the small assasin. The had the feeling that is it weren't for the butler being there when he had arrived at the door, he would likely be either dead or in extreme pain at that moment.
The car pulled up outside a phone booth. Damian slid out of the car, craning to reach the ground before giving up and dropping. He slammed the door behind him, and was gone through the tube by the time Aquaman left the car himself.
The man sighed. He was regretting his decision to teach at the academy. Children. Dear god, Garth was hard enough, he couldn't deal with a school full of the things.
~~~
Damian arrived just in time for an energetic introduction from Impulse. Allen Jr. Damian had heard of him, though he had never been on a mission before. Likely Father thought he would murder the kid. Father was right. He was already feeling the urge. It wasn't the boy's speed, Grayson's friendship with West ((ooc sorry guys, i'm just assuming that's a thing in this universe. If it's not I'll change it BallisticBlue BallisticBlue DankWaffles DankWaffles )) , it was his introduction of not only himself but the rest of his family. To Damian's ridiculously paranoid mind, that seemed like plain stupidity. And he was not one to let such things slide.

"Tt," he tutted, his vocal twitch coming through, "and here we have an absolute genius. You just gave a complete list of possible targets to anyone who wanted to get to you."

He had to admit though, the whole future thing was pretty 'cool'. He would have to quiz Allen on that later.

Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman turned, concealing her slight surprise. It wasn't often someone managed to sneak up on her. Perhaps it was the entertainment, she had been enraptured with the pure bliss of the children. But...still. This was certainly an exceptional young woman.

She smiled gently. Raven seemed calm, emotionless even, but even so Wonder Woman would do her best to put her at ease. You never could tell what was going on under the surface, a fact she knew from years of knowing Bruce.

"Of course. I suppose you don't want to sit down first? Perhaps get an ice cream. It's a lovely day."

((It's absolutely no problem. I've been swamped with school the past few days, so it was a welcome break . D O V E . D O V E ))

Red Tornado
That had been unexpected. The Ambush Bug was there, and then it was gone. That was...how would a human put it? Strange? Wacky? Totally bogus? It was of no matter, Red Tornado had failed in his mission. Oh dear. That did not bode well.

Wait, was that an emotion? It was! Red Tornado was feeling an emotion! What a day! It was...it...was... self loathing? Oh.

Red Tornado turned back to the boom tube and entered. He would have to inform the league.

Everything escalated beyond Kara's comprehension at a quicker pace than she'd even realized, a mysterious bug-like figure had caused turmoil within the ranks at his treatment of the magic Lady, Zatanna, and earned the ire of one of the Flash family, Wally. Fortunately, The Bug was gone as soon as he came, the whole ordeal still left Kara in stuttered confusion--especially given his approach of her. Blinking momentarily, Kara chewed her lip in confusion. I don't know him, right?
Shaking her head lightly, Supergir's attention was revived by the newest entry to the super-union, who'd admirably tried to be the peacemaker of the earlier incident. Given how Wally and Zatanna seemed to be enraptured by each other momentarily, and how Kara was terrified Impulse would continue to bounce off the walls at literal super-speed, Kara decided to acquaint herself with the one who introduced himself as 'Nightwing' "That was cool what you tried to do back there." Kara complimented with a friendly smile, referencing his attempt to diffuse the situation, as opposed to the violence Zatanna and Wally settled on (although she could hardly blame them, Zatanna especially).

Walking forward with one arm outstretched , Kara stopped just short of Nightwing, offering the hero a respectful handshake. "I'm..." Kara halted, glancing once at Kal's symbolic Man of Steel outfit, then back at the costume that hugged her own body. It dawned on her just how pointless introducing herself was. "I'm Kara, 'Woman of Steel', I guess." She finished with a light shrug, looking around the room at the other students so her introduction was not limited to Nightwing, but everyone. Kara's lips quirked into an amused grin. Woman of Steel, really Kara? It didn't sound nearly as impressive as Man of Steel. Maybe introducing herself as Supergirl from now on--no matter how obvious--would be the safer option.

Whatever doubt her introduction incited in Supergirl's mind was quickly dispelled at yet another rude arrival. She didn't fight to avoid rolling her eyes with a dramatic sigh. For a bunch of superheroes this wasn't quite as cheery as she'd imagined--she was, of course--referencing the younger looking arrival who's sarcasm-dripped insult was pointedly aimed at the innocent ball of unbound energy that was Impulse. Much like the Bug incident, she planned to avoid these verbal confrontations, Kara wasn't here to make enemies, she was here to learn, and, if possible, make friends--maybe even allies.

If Raven isn't Raven then she'd have a puzzled look by now. Why would this woman of wonder right in front of her offer her to grab some ice cream. She thought that she should be busy with the school or atleast required at the other side of the planet to save some children.

The young lass was sharp though, it wasn't long before she knew that the older woman wanted the young half-demon to warm up to her by treating her like a normal teenager. She could never be one but it won't cost her anything if she allowed Wonder Woman's kind offer.

Her face remained neutral but she let out a small nod. "Of course. It seems like earthlings are very fond of it." she sat down like she was instructed (it was more of a suggestion though) to do so and stared at the ice cream cart a few steps from them.

Ambush Bug's antennae start glowing and ringing. "Whoops, gotta go. Somebody just restarted continuity. Darnit, high school life sounded like fun."

Ambush Bug disappeared, never to be seen again.

((All of your reactions to Impulse give me life omg))

Bart turned to look at the short black haired kid, a confused look on his face. "No...that's not a complete list. There's also my mom, Meloni Thawne, my dad Don Allen, my aunt Dawn Allen, my cousin Jenni the Legionnaire, and then I guess Max Mercury and my great au-hey wait, who are you supposed to be anyway?" Was this kid just trying to confuse him? Who was he anyway?

The speedster appeared next to Damian, inspecting his costume. "Oh, you're Robin, right?! The traffic light wonder?" he exclaimed, proud of himself. "I thought Robin was older..." He didn't really know much about Robin, but this guy looked pretty young...although that thought was rich, coming from Bart, who was technically only about 3 years old.

Oh my god this guy was an idiot.

That was, as utterly cliche as it is, the only though that managed to make it to Damian's mind as Allen Jr let out, this time, a literal list of targets.

Either an idiot, or insane.

Damian stared at him blankly as he talked. Didn't he know that anyone here could be a traitor? That they could, one day, turn into a traitor? That they could be under a traitor's control?

He had no time to point this out though, as suddenly the boy was next to him and studying him intently. It was only Damian's advanced training in controlling himself that stopped him from jumped. Allen Jr was fast, probably as fast as his grandfather. Interesting.

"Oh, you're Robin right?! The traffic light wonder? I thought Robin was older..."

All thoughts of his speed were gone as Damian spluttered at the boy's insolence. He had to defend himself from this attack, yet didn't know where to start!? It had been a long time since he was last left speechless, he would give the Allen Jr that. His silence, luckily, didn't last long.

"I am twelve years old! Practically an adult! What are you, nine?" He hissed, hands curled into fists and face raised to meet Allen Jr's. On a side note, he found, to his delight, the older boy was only slightly taller than him.

Of course, the boy was older. It was unlikely he was actually nine, though he certainly acted like it. Exaggeration, he had found, could be useful when insulting.

Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman stood and covered the mere step to the Ice-Cream truck. She glanced at her watch subtly. They were running behind, no doubt things were happening at the Academy already. But she would not rush her temporary charge.

She ordered a vanilla cone and glanced back at Raven, realizing she had no idea what the younger wanted.

"Any particular flavour preference?"

((Thank you! Do you want to spend some time outside the academy or to get there asap? Because I don't want to hold you back if you want to get to the action))

((Aww thanks haha!! That means a lot, especially since I haven't RP'ed him much. Your Damian is fantasic as well omg))

Bart blinked at Robin, and tipped his head slightly, taking a step back as the slightly shorter boy (to Bart's pleasure) got up in his face. "Not yet...technically," he answered bluntly. "I'm 14, I guess. And 12 isn't practically an adult...don't you gotta be 18 to be an adult? That's uhh..." He quickly counted on his fingers. "Six years away. You've still got a ways to go."

Bart looked down at Robin's fists, clenched tightly against his side. "Why're you so mad? Are your muscles just tight?" The speedster looked back to the Boy Wonder's face, all scrunched up. He did look like he needed to relax. "Here. This'll help." He moved behind Robin and started to massage his shoulders. "Man, you are REALLY tight!"

Dick looked over as he heard a voice speak to him, seeing Supergirl walking up to him. He gave her a smile.
"Its no big deal really, its just not right to treat people that way." He replied. He'd had more than his fair share of thugs ogling at his behind in his Nightwing costume, so he kind of got the idea of the feeling. He was free to deal with those situations however he chose though, and they definitely didn't end with a nice chat.
"I've had to defuse worse at the Batcave. Trust me." A raging Batman? Yeah, that was hard to calm down.
He shook her hand as it was offered, a firm and friendly shake. He hoped to make friends with everyone here, and trust them.
He was pulled from the conversation though, hearing a familiar, sharp voice speaking with Impulse. His smile grew, and he looked over to confirm who he thought it was. Not like he could mistake that voice for anyone else.
"Robin!" He called, and he gave another smile to Supergirl before walking over to the younger bat. He hadn't expected to see Damian here, and he knew this wasn't his idea most likely. Maybe Bruce.
"Warning Impulse, this one bites." He teased.

Was Bart unaware of what he was doing? Even if he did, Wally had to step in to stop it. Quickly speeding over to him, Wally picked him up and swung him around, away from the little man who donned the Robin suit. What Bart was doing was just...not right, to say the least. "Hey, Bart, let's not say, nor DO, that again. Alright?", Wally exclaimed. Deep down, Wally was hoping that Bart was unaware of what he was doing, it would make the situation a little funnier. But who knows what's in the mind of Bart Allen.

"He bites?" Impulse repeated, his hands freezing and slowly drawing away. "Uhh...shouldn't you have trained him out of that by now? He's 12," he said, unsure of the exact use of Nightwing's words. Maybe there was something wrong with Robin? He shouldn't be going around biting people.

He was suddenly spun around by none other than his dear cousin Wally. What was he talking about? "Uhh...huh? Do what? Say what? What am I not supposed to do?" Bart blinked up innocently at Kid Flash. "Give people free massages? Tell people they're not adults yet? Uhhh..." The most hyperactive kid alive was drawing a blank on what else he had done in the past five minutes of being here. "Give...people...hugs?"

So close. He had been so close to whipping out a sword and decapitating the speedster. So close to completely ruining his chance with father.

It would have been worth it, he thought. He didn't like people touching him, and Allen Jr had just defiled his entire back. Damian stopped himself from shifting uncomfortably. Yes, it would have been worth it.

If it hadn't been for Grayson.

"Nightwing." Damian greeted with a nod and an outstretched hand, ignoring Allen Jr and his smart remarks completely as West whisked him away, no doubt to scold him for his actions. Although, knowing West, he could just as well be congratulating him.

What did Grayson see in him?

No matter. He shook himself out of his thoughts and continued in his greeting.

"I am surprised to see you here. I assumed you would be above such things...did Father force you as well?"

That would be just like Father, trying to stay in control even after someone had become strong and powerful and even Batman for a short amount of time.

Raven ordered the same flavor as the older woman and the man gave it to her happily. It was pretty weird though, a girl covered in dark robes holding a vanilla-flavored ice cream looked odd.

"Can we go now?" she looked at the Wonder Woman, she was probably busy or something. "I can teleport the both of us there." she suggested. It'd be a whole lot faster than flying to the school.

Wonder Woman hid a sigh and smiled, yet again. This was becoming a pattern.

"Of course. Let us see what mess the boys have made. Will you do the honors?"

Raven nodded once more before she stretched her arms outwards and her soul-self enveloped her gloved hands. Her eyes glowed white, "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!" the lass chanted before the two females were quickly swallowed by a dark bubble. Their surroundings turned black before it slowly reverted back to normal but instead of the park, they were somewhere at the school. She turned around and saw some boys with a girl.

The young empath adjusted her hood and faced Wonder Woman who was right beside her, "Is this the right....spot?" she asked with the same neutral voice and expression. She once again looked at the people around them, her violet orbs analyzing each and everyone of them.

Dick raised an eyebrow teasingly at how formal Damian was being, but he wasn't surprised. It was Damian, how he was. Though he was sure the boy also wanted to keep appearances, since there were so many new people around. That's why Dick figured that Damian wouldn't appreciate him pulling him into a hug either. As much as he wanted to, he wasn't going to make him uncomfortable.
So he took Damian's hand, giving it a good squeeze.
"So that's why you're here huh. I figured, school isn't your thing." Dick sighed. He could see why Bruce would want to send him here, but Bruce also didn't see all of the good in Damian that Dick has. He was sure this was just going to strain the relationship between the two further, with Bruce not bothering to see the situation as a whole. That was never his strong suit.
"But no, I came here willingly. Nothing wrong with a little more practice and training yeah?"
He glanced around, then looked back at Damian a bit more serious.
"Did... Batman not bring you here?" He questioned.

Damian allowed a very slight upward tilt of the lips when Grayson shook his outstretched hand. He was thankful. It was not the time bore the place for the older boy's lack of emotional restraint. It was good of him to keep a hold of himself. The fondness didn't even fade when Grayson, embarrassingly, announced his weakness and willing involvement.

It disappeared, however, as he found himself bristling slightly at the unfortunate question.

"No," he replied in a voice that was supposed to be neutral but came out testy, "though until Aquaman turned up on my doorstep I was under the impression that he was. I assume he did not act as your escort either."

That was surprising. When Damian had realised Grayson was here he had subconsciously assumed that Father had been too busy with him for his biological son. It seemed he was mistaken.

But if that were so, it raised the question: where was Batman?

Kara spared a professional smile to the departing Nightwing. For an introductory greeting, she thought it went quite well. Kryptonians and humans weren't completely alien to one another, but she had reservations over how impressionable she really was, Kal was practically raised as a human, she had no such luxury. With hands lightly placed upon her hips, Kara-- left surrounded by mysterious faces in anxious suspense-- let her eyes glaze over to an imposing Kal momentarily, snapping her gaze away she frowned at her oen inaction. As much as she wanted too, she didn't have the bravery to approach him--to confront him--so instead, she decided to stay on course; more mingling!

Wally's emergency departure to save the younger speedster from a particularly volatile Damian, left Zatanna free for approach. Not that Wally was approaching her, but Kara was sure he would have given a few more moments. Besides, the bug-squashing spellslinger seemed friendly enough.

Approaching the magician, Kara folded her arms into a semi-impressed stance, a smirk tugging at her lips."Nice party trick." She noted enthusiastically, "Care to teach me?" Of course, Supergirl was well aware there was no way Zatanna could teach her magic. But it never hurt to be friendly, although... if the magician didn't recognize the joke, it'd leave Kara in a patch of awkwardness, she was really overthinking this whole 'be sociable' thing. Rules of approach were different on Argon.

Whilst her thoughts dwelt on the potential social catastrophe's Kara's mouth could commit, another pair magically materialized within the room. Though rather than arriving in a bright flash, it was a dark one. Different entrance... or... tube? One girl looked relatively gothic, coated in black and wrapped in a mysterious cloaked, hiding her greyish skin. the other woman... An excited fluster suddenly warped across Kara's face, eyes wide in apprehension. Wonder Woman's teaching here?! Awesome! Kara thought she'd be busy teaching on her own planet, whatever that was called again... Wait, was it a planet or a dimension? She really should have read those bios Kal gave her a while back.

The kids were...getting along fairly well so far. No one had been injured yet, at least, to the delight of the staff. "Well, if you're all set here for now, I'll be right back, there's one more student I've got to pick up," Barry spoke up, leaning towards Superman, who nodded, knowing who he was speaking about. "Make good choices, kids. Bart," he added the emphasis, looking towards the boy. "I'll be back in a flash!" The speedster shot off into a boom tube, the one leading towards Metropolis, just as Raven and Wonder Woman were appearing. He headed off towards the street where he had planned to meet up with Booster Gold.

Zatanna laughed at Supergirl's question, convinced that she probably wasn't taking it very seriously. "Well, you could try to learn it, but you might not make it out alive," she replied with lighthearted mystique. "Some pretty horrible things have happened to normal humans that try to use magic. And Kryptonians. And even us, for that matter, if we're careless about it."

She took another look around, laughing again at the exchange between the way overexcited Impulse and the super salty Robin. It was an interesting crowd to say the least, and most of them seemed nice. And it was pretty amazing to see some of the biggest superheroes she thought she'd never meet all in one place. "
This place doesn't seem so bad," she said to Supergirl again. "So you're, like Superman, aren't you? You related to him or something? Where did you come from?" Aether1 Aether1

In Wally's mind, he was excited to be attending this school, which was a drastic change from his previous position about attending. And now that he was comfortable enough, Wally decided to 'take off' his suit. With a the thought of it circulating around in his head, Wally's armor began to disassemble. An electric bolt jumped around his body, biting away at his suit. Eventually, his suit had fully disappeared, and his clothes that he wore when travelling to the boom tube had returned. Despite the awesome look of his suit, Wally actually felt more comfortable in 'normal' clothing. Without even looking, Wally snagged his duffel bag and his backpack from the ground. "So, uh, are we getting a tour of this place?", he asked, grinning.
