Realistic or Modern Just a Petty Criminal

'Then tell him to get a respectable job or a trade' she thought to herself. She had her own way of making lots of dough, if anything she needed a PA. "All the info I have on what exactly?" she wasn't quite sure what he wanted to know. "I heard through a recently deceased acquaintance that there was someone who he thought might've been planning to take down Leon's cushy little empire...," she paused for a moment as she rolled herself a doobie and blazed up, "I'm the last member of what use to be the prominent Lamount family, before Leon killed my parents, so obviously when I caught wind of the rumor I spent time tracking down more and more about it. It was all nonsense until I got a name and possible address from my recently deceased. I figured he was just bluffing and just trying to start the rumor to scare Leon or something, but obviously all he did was paint a target on his back," she took another hit, and the tension in her body began to slowly melt away, "I figured there was no harm in following up on what he had told me, since he never said anything specific until I pressed him about, forcefully." she took another long deep hit before throwing it out the window.

"What does this guy even do, that he needs a PA? I have a good gig as is, sharking money from people at the casino, and I have my own..." she stopped blabbing before she gave away all she had. A girl's gotta have some secrets after all.

Alexander had been following Davin out of the car, and he crossed his arms when he saw him take a hold of the girl, but it didn’t look like any sort of fight was breaking out, so no need to intervene, instead he decided to keep a lookout of people who might be trying to do something stupid. He spotted Agnes a small distance away, his gaze meeting hers shortly. Well, at least now she knew what kind of job he had been speaking of earlier. He send her a relaxed smile, but didn’t leave his post for now.

Alexander had only known Davin shortly, but he was actually pretty sure that he would not be the type to hit a girl for a small theft (although who really knew), and it luckily wasn’t the case it seemed. It didn’t take too long before Marissa was even in their car, and somehow Alexander had to marvel over how that had turned out, but lately he had stopped questioning casualties. He blinked and stared at Davin when he announced that the girl was to be his personal assistance now. “Seriously?” he asked, getting back into the car.

Then he returned her gaze in the rearview mirror when she started rolling up a joint. Realization hit him just as Davin said it out loud. It was the girl that had chimed their bell the other day. He turned in his seat to look at her. “Well, my name is Alexander.. have I seen you at a party or something, I thought I recognized some of those tattoos,” he commented casually.

He lifted his hat a bit, and his tone changed a bit. “Your work earlier would have been perfect if I hadn’t been staying on the street outside to haul a cab. I saw you come out as the only person I hadn’t seen in there. That place is kind of a regular of mine and not all that big,” then he waved a hand. “I won’t ask for more back than what you took. You can minus for some weed if you got any.” the corner of his lip lifted a bit.

Mars looked back at Alexander, "It's possible. I'm out and about a lot," she replied. The joint she had hit had helped her relax even though she wasn't quite sure her destination, but at this point there was nothing she could do but ride along. As Alexander explained how he had caught her, she scoffed aloud. "To think I even waited a bit, guess I got a little cocky after todays pulls earlier," she admitted, "Guess next time I'll have to use the backdoor or drop the cash on someone else and take it from them later." she mutters as she thinks about all the other ways she could've gone about it.

Silently she drew open her bag and took out half the amount of weed from the money she took and handed it up to Alexander. "The rest I'll have to get to you later." she wasn't lying that she would, but she was more using that as an excuse for them to keep her alive. Just because she was playing the obedient abductee doesn't necessarily guarantee that they don't have any in mind for her. So far so good though, and she planned to just take things as they came.

Alexander just smiled with a shrug as she told how she should have done it. Alexander had never really been a pick-pocketer, so he wouldn't know, but her ideas made sense at least. Stealing was not his thing, he preferred deals, luckily he had been lucky to get a small job that would pay for his previous two rooms and microwave dinners, so he hadn't needed to steal after he was kicked out from home. He took the weed he had been offered, lifting an eyebrow as he noticed that it clearly didn't suffice to amount of money she had stolen. "I guess, but I need it soon, since I am currently moving and it was kind of all I had at the moment," he admitted.

Then he sat back in his seat properly and looked down at the gun that was still in his lab. He turned it a little in his hands, and leaned back in his seat as they headed back for the apartment.

Grabbing the vodka from the shelf angrily as there was no whiskey left, she payed and left. "I hate this cheap crap..." She mumbled to herself, pushing it into her pocket. Just then her phone began to ring, at that point, she regretted picking it up from her apartment. Flipping it out, 'Henry' popped up on the screen. She rolled her eyes and stuffed it back into her pocket, enjoying the music that it was playing.

Skye always loved music. Before leaving home, she would play the piano every day, and sing sometimes too, when everyone had left for work. She missed that.

A hunched-over figure stalked his way towards the apartment complex. He was breathing heavily, sweat soaking through his hoodie. Despite this, he was freezing. Only Boris Finnegan was scrawny enough to be shivering and sweating at the same time, on a night that wasn't even that cold. It didn't help that he was intoxicated at this very moment. Had it been coke or skag? He didn't remember. He didn't care. All he cared about was the fact that this extraordinary high was what had helped him to spray paint a ten foot mural along the side of a city bus, and that he had just managed to run away from the cop who had tried to rough him up in the dense darkness of some secret-keeping alleyway. How's that for a cliche?

"Cops," Boris scoffed, in between massive heaves of breath, "Fuck-ed-up fascist bu-reau-crat fucks."

Boris clawed at the skin on his forearm. The mural had been a gigantic, melting red clock, with the words "LATE AGAIN" written in jagged red letters around the edges. It was one of his more straight-forward works, inspired by banksy, it's obvious message was: the bus always freaking runs late. It had been a good night.

Now, his plan was to go back to his apartment, eat at least twenty sugar packets, and go bar hopping. Maybe he would meet someone who could hook him up with some more junk to keep him numb. Zombie needed to be fed first, though. That went without saying.

Lee shrugged. She didn't really know how Liam intended to "find out" where they got their information, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to know the answer. "Whatever, I won't tell if you do." Keeping Davin alive, huh? It seemed like a rather okay goal to have. Lee wasn't really the type to take a bullet for anyone, but if there was anyone it might just be Davin...depending on the situation of course. "I'm not much of team player," Lee admitted, "So this is a new experience for me. Though, having rational people is important for any team." She noticed Liam tending to his nose, almost having almost forgotten the earlier incident. I'll hit up the gallery another time, she thought, and when I do...I'll go by myself. Although she could act like nothing had happened, she couldn't help but feel a little bitter toward Liam. It's true she didn't know what went down between him and Davin, and maybe he wasn't at fault, but it was easier to be upset with him than Davin at the moment. Of course, she would probably get over it since she was already on her way to befriending the man, but to be honest she was at a loss for words of any consequence and let the air between them fall awkwardly silent.

Within a few hours, Leon's orders had been followed to the letter. The guys responsible for beating one of his dealers had been found and his offer had been made. It was met with what Leon considered absolute ingratitude, and was repaid in kind. The three punks had been shot, execution-style, and each had been nailed to a telephone pole at ground level.

When the call came, saying that his will had been done, Leon smiled. It would send a message to any other upstarts, the sort that said "Leon Motierre is no the guy you f*** with." Maybe it would restore some of the order among his lower ranks, who were under the impression everything was about to go to s***. But hey, that wasn't his problem. Grunts were easy to come by if you searched the slums for an hour or so. Good thing about gangbangers is any of them will take a job, for a fairly low price. Of course, there were the background checks involved, the period of intense surveillance, and the personal meeting with one of Leon's advisers, but that was the price you paid for loyalty.

Ares soon ate his food and walked out the cafe and started walking down the street. He kept on walking and walking, his hair ruffling in the wind. Where should I go now? he thought. He saw an apartment building ahead of him, so he went to check it out. He opened the door, and started walking up the stairs. He did not know which door to stop at, so he just stopped in front of one, which has been opened who knows when.

He knocked on the door, hoping no one was home. He looked through the peek hole and sat down, waiting for someone to answer. If no one was there, he could go back to doing something on the streets and if there was someone, who was this guy?

Sitting on the bench she had previously slept on, she looked round. "Maybe I could crash here again." She mumbled and took out the vodka. Smiling to herself, she opened it and took a swig.

It was easy to get your hands on gear in the city, but Skye was never interested. It was only now that she wondered if it would do her any good, she knew it would certainly take her mind away from her problems better than cheap vodka and whiskey would. She then remembered her sister, and how disappointed she would be. Then again...she wasn't here.

Ares just left the apartment and started walking down the stairs towards the road. He saw a bus coming by, so he stopped and got on. "Where you wanna go to?" the middle aged bus driver asked. "Um, the park," was the first thing that popped into his mind. He sat down in the back, while these two 7 year old kids stared at him. He sat there, as the bus rocked back and forth, driving.

They stopped at 5 stops before they made it to the park. Ares got of the bus and walked down the grass to find a girl sitting on a bench. "Hello?" he asked.

She almost choked on the vodka when the boy said hello to her. Wiping her mouth, she replied, "Hello.." She stuffed her vodka back in her pocket and swallowed hard.

"So um... Hi. I am Ares," Ares said, his blonde hair waving in the slight breeze. "Do you know what time it is I don't have a watch." He looked at the girl. He hummed at song by Nirvana.

"Skye," She smiled slightly, "And I'm not sure sorry...my phone isn't at the right time. Probably worst person to ask, my sense of time is terrible too." With a chuckle, she pulled the vodka back out and took another graceful swig.

"So..." Liam put the glass down when it lost it's coolness, a bead of water dripped off the tip of his nose. "About Davin...what's he like? To you anyway," he asked, curious despite the anger he was feeling towards the man at the moment.

"You two seemed pretty close," he added thoughtfully. He wasn't jealous, he just needed to know what he was dealing with. Obviously, people could change drastically over the course of a year, and Liam didn't want to get caught singing 'somebody I used to know'.

"Oh," she said. "Interesting. What have you been up to lately? I robbed a doughnut store and ate dessert." He smiled a little. He looked aroundnad ruffled his hair. "I am just a very strange person." The thought of doughnuts raced through his head.

"Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over..." Davin mumbled as he drove. He'd let Marissa and Alex talk it out, pass the joint. Just becase he'd have no problem flipping the script on the girl didn't mean he wanted to.

As they pulled up to.his apartment building, his heart dropped. Will was there....waiting. Were they back together? Did Will hate him after all?

"It's not your fault." He told himself before opening the door. "He left. He left you."

Mhm, dessert, Skye could go with some doughnuts. "Hey, we're all strange, especially in this city. But, nah..not much to be honest..just had lunch.." She smiled and again, took another swig.

Will's head snapped to the sound of the door opening. The second he saw Dav's face, his his hand was up, sending the knife he'd been holding into the wall behind the mans head, close enough to skim his hair. He got up from the chair slowly, taking his time as he walked over and yanked the knife out of the wall. "Sorry," he said coldly, tilting the blade. "Must have slipped," he added.

Ares looked at Skye funny. "Hope you don't run out," he joked. As she took the swig he coughed into his sleeve. He pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket and showed it to Skye. "I had a plan and I was wondering if you could help me with it. See, I want too rob this bank. I need someone else to help to." He looked at Skye with a concerning look.

"Robbing a bank??" Her eyes widened, "Whoa, dude. I can't help with that... I'm just the pretty distracting face.." She shook her head.

"Listen," he said, "You distract the teller while I steal the money. Pretend to be stupid and not know how to get money out of your account." He explained it to her and he really just stood there like a fool til Skye replied.

Alexander glanced over at Davin while he spoke, but he was not sure if he was suppose to answer to his mumbles. Instead he just smiled a little to himself, and took the joint, he felt much more relieved after that. He went out of the car when Davin pulled up by the apartment and followed him inside of there the complex. The man was still mumbling, but he spoke to him anyway. "Thanks for helping me out," he said.

When he opened the door he noticed Lee and… someone he didn't know too. But he wasn't really surprised, Alexander was a newbie in this crew after all. But he took a step back when the knife came at him. He tightened the hand around the gun that Davin had still not reclaimed from him.
