Realistic or Modern Just a Petty Criminal

"Where did she go?" he asked, striding back to his car. He got in and slammed the door loudly. His eyes had gone red from the lack of poison in his system, driving his blood to boil. "Get in." He said grimly, pulling his gun from the back of his pants.

She gulped down her now luke warm coffee and smiled at Agnes, "If I had my number I'd give it to you, but my phones in my apartment." She felt guilty, but soon realised that Agnes probably didn't want some strange girl who was sleeping on a park benches number. "I'm sure I'll see you around though." Smiling as she stood, she nodded and left quickly.

Her temperature went up rapidly, and she zipped down her jacket slightly. She needed her flask and she needed it now. Skye was obviously oblivious to the fact she had a problem, but anyone who took a second glance at her could tell she looked like she needed something and she needed it soon.

Alexander pointed with his thumb over his shoulder. “Um… that way, there’s a skate board park, but I can’t be sure that…she..” he trailed off as he noticed the gun that he pulled out. He looked up at Davin questioningly, and walked with him back to the car. “Are we really going after this girl?” he asked him, but still went into the car and closed the door, the dark edge in Davin’s voice making him move.

Agnes finished off her coffee and pocketed the number. She'd wanted to ask him if there was anywhere she could crash, but he'd left before she could. She'd ask Skye, but it seemed as though her mind was elsewhere. "It's fine; I don't have a phone anyway," she told her right before she left. Agnes sighed and left the cafe, her hands in the pockets of her jeans. At this point, the park bench that Skye had slept on wasn't sounding too bad, but maybe that was the exhaustion talking. Agnes decided to head to the park next; it was a nice day out and there were sure to be plenty of people around. Maybe she could find a golden opportunity. Or some money. Agnes headed over to the park where she'd met Skye and Alexander earlier. Nearby, she saw a skate park with plenty of guys around and a girl walking on her own that looked vaguely familiar. It occurred to Agnes that she'd seen her in the café; she came in just as Alexander left. Agnes took a seat on a bench and thought about what to do next. She could try asking the girl if she had any advice, or some of the guys who were busy skating.

Picking up what little money she had from her apartment and her phone, she rushed out. Relief filled her, but not fully. Keeping her head down, she made her way to her local shop. The walk of shame, as she liked to call it.

Davin pushed the pedal practically through the floor as he drove in the direction pointed out by Alex. "Tell me when you see her!" He growled loudly.

Lee waited as the dial tone continued. "Well...she's not picking up," she muttered to herself. Lee shrugged and waited some more. She started planning what to say if it went to voicemail. Obviously, she wouldn't tell Marissa to call the number back. But she could tell her to meet at Davin's- since she already knew where that was. Lee glanced over at Liam sitting in the chair and raised her eyebrows. What the hell? One minute the guy's looking at paintings. The next, he's all squirmy about his ex. And now, he's fondling a knife. It looked pretty wicked, though... she couldn't deny that. "Well I appreciate you letting me live thus far," Lee said sarcastically. "I'd hate to get in the way of your artistic talent or become an artifact myself."

Alexander looked over at Davin with a bit of disbelief, and grabbed onto the seat. “Erm… yeah..” he said, not sure if he was writing this girl a dead-sentence though. Although there was a small part of him that truly wanted those money back. It had been quite a bit of cash she had run away with, and he might not be the worst convict in the jail cell, but he was certainly not fond of letting a thief run off with the little money he owned. “Maybe I should hold the gun though, huh?” he offered, reaching his hand out.

Liam shrugged, looking up at her and stabbing the knife into the wooden table in front of him before crossing his arms. "I only kill people I really, really, dislike," he said, cracking his neck as he did so. It went without saying that he hadn't decided if Davin was on that list yet.

"So what exactly is going on here?" He asked, kicking his feet up and leaning back.

"Here." Davin quipped, tossing the gun at Alex. "Now point that bitch out. I hate people who have no class in their crime." He muttered.

He had to admit, the girl almost made a clean exit...but if she was smooth, she wouldn't have let her target see her a second time. If she didn't agree to what Davin had to say, he'd pay her "kindness" back by leaving her on the highway--stark naked.

Alex caught the gun, and looked at it, before setting it down on his lab. Hopefully they wouldn’t be needing that. Then he looked back over at Davin, huffing out a breath. “Let’s not bash her skull in before we have talked to her, this place is pretty public,” he reasoned. Then he looked out over the park. “Ah… stop stop..” he said waving a hand for him to slow down the car when he caught sight of the girl that he had seen exit the shop.

He looked for a moment longer, waiting for her to turn her face a bit, but then was able to confirm it. “I think that’s the girl..” he said with a nod. “Yeah… that’s the girl.”

Davin screeched to a stop, in the middle of the road. He walked over to the girl, admiring her tattoos before grabbing her arm and pulling toward the car. "Who are you and where is his wallet?" He asked, his voice ragged and gruff. "And don't tell me you didn't do it. You have sneaky written all over you."

Mars was caught off guard as she was suddenly snatched up and being hauled off. "Hey, what the fuck!" she was off balance and didn't have the strength to pull away from the guy. As she was being pulled toward the car, she could see the guy that she had in fact robbed in it, and her heart skipped a beat for a second. "Shit! how the hell did he know it was me, I know I got him perfectly and even waited a bit before I left" she was genuinely stunned at how she had gotten found out, but then again this man holding her arm was assuming it was her. "Who in this city doesn't have sneaky written all over them," she looked at the guy's face and could see that he didn't seem to be in the playing around move, but then again there wasn't any proof, "Who are you? snatching girl's up at random!" she snapped back as she gathered herself and unsuccessfully tried to jerk herself free.

"I'm Davin Blumen, and you have caught me at the wrong time of any day. Either you can get in the car or be under it. Both options are fine by me." he growled, unwilling to amuse any other questions.

"And you are? I need a name for my colleauge's new personal assistant/bitch."

For a moment she considered using the knife in her back pocket, but after hearing the name she figured that wouldn't go over so well. "In will be fine..," the fight in her leaving, "The name's Marissa, Marissa Lamount." This was not at all the first meeting she had in mind, and she almost scoffed at the idea of being someone's assistant/bitch...but clearly not the best time or place or person for that argument at this time.

"Well I'm keep that in mind, Liam...can I still call you that?" Lee shrugged. "Well I'm going to anyways." She clicked the exit button on the call screen. Marissa wasn't answering her phone, and Lee just wasn't in the mood to leave a message. She messed with the computer for a few more seconds to make sure everything was set up like Davin had instructed before turning to the other man. "It's called storming the castle," she told him. "All out war- us against current crime lord, Leon." Lee reclined with a gleeful grin. She shook her head. "To tell you the truth, I think Dav's been a little bored. So he's been gathering an army, and he devised this grand scheme to take the city and destroy Leon's regime, brick by brick. It's quite thrilling, don't you think?" she chuckled.

Agnes watched as a man, who seemed rather angry, confronted the girl she'd been idly watching. Instantly, Agnes felt as though she should do something - interrupt, do something on her behalf. It's what she would've wanted done for herself. So far, though, Agnes wasn't sure she should intervene. This didn't look like domestic violence - this looked like something a little beyond her. While Agnes wasn't about to stand around and let some girl get beaten around, she also knew danger when she saw it, despite her exhaustion. Still... Agnes wasn't quite comfortable with this. She decided to monitor the situation and see if it went any further than whatever words they were exchanging. If it did, then maybe Agnes would say something... or do something. She always kept a small gun and a knife on her person, after all. And she didn't tolerate flat out bullying... if that's what it was.

He raised an eyebrow. Apparently, Liam's habits had rubbed off on Dav after all...the German usually wasn't the one between the two of them to come up with elaborate plans thought out in excruciating detail. Though he wasn't entirely pleased his ex had chosen to take down Leon's entire operation by creating an empire of his own...it wasn't his problem, since Davin obviously knew what he was doing. Apparently Liam was just there to kill people.

He yawned, picking the knife back up and studying it. "Interesting," he mused. "Though I hope he realizes that his recruiting methods are rather reckless."

He couldn't help himself from poking holes in the plan, though he felt Davin didn't deserve his insight at all. Lee however, might be able to get through to him and his thick skull. "At this rate, Leon will know who he is in a couple of days, not to mention where he is."

Davin let go of the girl, then walked with her to the car and even opened the door for her. "So you're the one who leaves knives in my wall?" he asked, taking a breath to calm down. He still felt angry...at Will and Marissa. And even Lee, for knowing Will was here--without knowing. "I need a fix." he grumbled, waving toward the door, like tge gentleman he was underneath all his awakened anger.

Lee shrugged. "Well, forgive me for not stepping in front of the man when he's holding a gun." She sighed and rolled her eyes a bit. She often thought similar things to what Liam said. Davin could be incredibly reckless and impulsive, but she was not going to stop him...she was never a very confrontational person, especially when she knew she had no chance. "I've been trying to keep us under the radar," she explained. "It concerns me that people like Alex and Marissa just showed up on his doorstep, but I have no idea where they're getting their intel from or who their sources are." Lee frowned and got up from her seat, walking to the freezer. She made herself a glass of water and set one in front of Liam, not bothering to ask if he was thirsty.

"Thank you," he said automatically when the glass was set in front if him. He took a long drink, and rather than putting the glass down, he held it against the bridge of his nose, letting it numb the ache.

"Bet I could find out where they got it from..." Liam muttered pointedly. "Not that Dav would let me." He looked up at Lee, cocking his head thoughtfully before the corner of his mouth twitched in the beginnings of a smile. "Glad I'm not he only rational player on the game board," he commented. "Hopefully we can keep him from getting himself killed."

Marissa walked past Davin and sat in the car, "What's your poison? Maybe I got something for ya," she didn't want to agitate this man. She could see that he was slightly on edge and she hoped that whatever it was that he was on that she had some on her. In her backpack she carried small samples of everything just in case she could get a new customer. It paid to be prepared. "Thanks." she said as she sat down in the car, still wondering if this good guy act was going to hold for long. Once in the car she was silent as she stared through the rearview mirror at the guy she had stolen from.

"A little coke, some glass, and roll a doobie up--to take the edge off." Davin laughed. He was used to snirting lines while driving. "And neither of you are to tell my boyfriend." He snapped playfully. "I really get edgy without my speed..." he trailed off while driving the car back to their place.

She quickly rolled up a doobie, lit it, puffed it, and passed it up to Davin. "Good thing a girl is always prepared for any situation." She pulled out a small baggie of coke and handed up her small pocket mirror along with it. Perhaps this first meeting wouldn't go as bad as it had started, granted the conversation about the stolen cash hadn't come back up yet. She assumed that it would come up sooner or later and she hadn't yet decided how she would handle it. She was now in the car with them, going to somewhere, and outnumbered, perhaps lying wasn't in her best interest...especially since she wanted in on taking Leon's life. She knew she wouldn't be making it to work on time and perhaps not at all, but she knew that she could explain it away. First time offense, so she wouldn't be in too much trouble.

Davin poured out a neat line out of practice. He bent over and inhaled the sweet dust at the wheel, something he felt bad about doing.

As he came back up, the rush of the drug his his head and he grinned, his breathing and driving slowing down considerably. He waved at a pair of cops, who seemed to be more concerned with a prostitute walking toward their car.

"So, Marissa...I want all the info you have. And I swear, being this kid's PA won't be so bad. But, you owe him...he was doing bad enough." He turned to her and wiped the traces off his nostrils. "Why were you at my door yesterday?" he asked pleasantly.
