Realistic or Modern Just a Petty Criminal

He'd better stay away from Davin, Liam thought, glaring before looking up at the said man again. His begging had intrigued him. Besides, he was probably going to have to clean up the bloody floor I he slit the mans throat. "What do you think Dav? I could use a pet..."

Liam looked back at the guy on the floor, and cocked his head as he contemplated it. "As long as you don't mind being chained up that is. But then, you don't really have a say in the matter," he added. They might be able to predict Leon's moves better with a captive informant they could use as needed.

"You're gonna keep him?! Babe, that's pretty sick." Davin walked over to the pair and frowned.

"You can't predict his every move. And you certianly can't trust any crap that comes out of this guys mouth." Davin tapped his foot imaptiently, the smack of the sneaker to the hardwood echoing throughout the apartment building.

"He hasn't given me anything but a compliment. I say, kill him." Davin turned and walked away coldly.

The man thrashed in his bonds even harder. "Alright, alright. I know he stays on the penthouse floor of Vespon Tower!" He screamed, begging for his life.

Davin smiled, glad his methods worked against the second in command.

Mars had parked her bike about 2 blocks away from the scene of devastation that was not only the first floor of the building but also out in the street in front of the place. A recently smoldering heap, that she identified as the remains of a vehicle, was being lifted onto a tow truck and there were still an ambulance and firetruck parked outside, obviously the police had also arrived and were trying to clear the scene. Mars waited for a break in their ranks and slipped through them and hastily made her way inside and quickly hustled to the elevator, hitting the button on the inside and heading back up to Davin's. In the elevator she had pulled a beer from her bag and began to chug it, keeping her buzz and high in check, she wasn't sure what she was gonna come back to, but this would ensure that she wasn't too taken aback by whatever was going on in there. Emotionally numb as she stepped off the elevator, she made her way to his door, and leaning against the wall next to the side of it, she knocked 4 hard times, deleting her conversation with Marcus as she waited.

"See? Now we're getting somewhere," Liam said happily, grinning at Davin in thanks before returning his attention to the guy on the floor.

"What's he planning, maggot? Why'd he send you to shoot up the building, why not just send someone to kill us all quietly?" He demanded, grabbing the nam by the front of his shirt and slamming his head into the floor for emphasis. "And I'm not gonna ask again - who the hell are you to Leon?"

Dav watched William continue to torture hus captive when as he heard a knock on the door. He stood up and answered to a glassy eyed Marissa.

"Well, I see I'm not the only high person in the room. Welcome Mars....you don't mind if I call you that do you? I want you to meet the guy who was shooting at my place," he said, waving his hand at the bound man on the ground, "And....um....what's your name?" He asked the quiet blond girl in the room.

"Quinn Davis." She replied with a self aware snarkiness. "I'm the new getaway driver."

"Ah, yes. Well, that's what's new around here. Your boss is out doing god knows what when he should be in my apartment. Feel free to chat around until he gets back so.I can.smack him." Dav plopped himself down on the couch and started the blu-Ray on his 52" --they'd watch season 2 of Game of Thrones.

Quinn snorted, then hopped over the couch as if she was always a part of the crew. Davin noted that he would really like this girl.

Mars eyed the man who was bound, it was Daniel, but she cracked a smile as she noticed what had become of him. Once thought of as the top Enforcer and now reduced to this, she shut the door behind her as she nodded her greeting at Quinn.

"Anyone care for a beer," she walked around the couch, sat on the arm rest and placed a few beers on the living room table, "Or if you want something else, let me know." she pulled her joint from the bag and placed it behind her ear. She wasn't sure what exactly was going to happen next for them, but she figured there was no point in worrying, and now that season 2 of Game of Thrones was on...who really cared.

Lee was honestly quite oblivious to what was going on around her. She heard something about a new getaway driver and glanced at Quinn before looking back at her computer screen. Lee searched the Web for someplace to stay- someplace large enough to house a bunch of people but out of the way where no one would come knocking. An abandoned warehouse would be too cliche, too obvious, in her opinion. Maybe just an average-looking house would do. Lee checked the bank account and was glad to see that they were doing fine on funds. They couldn't afford anything crazy, but if they were smart, they could possibly get a cheap place without having to pay installments for the home. Lee could hear television and also Daniel's protests from where Davin and Liam were dealing with the guy, but she tried her best to tune everything out and just focus. It wasn't too difficult; once Lee was consumed in her work, it was hard to shake her from it.

((Is this dead? Ornah...cause it was pretty good...))

Liam came around the corner and headed for Lee, wiping his hands on his jeans. He'd dragged Daniel into a closet after knocking him out again, and scoffed as he passed the couch, twitching in irritation as the Quinn girl sat next to Davin.

Nevertheless, he reached his friend, tapping her on the shoulder to get her attention away from the computer.

"I can help with this," he stated, leaning against the wall beside her and gesturing to the screen. "I may not be a crime lord or a pusher, but I've got more money than both of them times ten," he added, smiling at her. "I've already got security covered, I just need a location."

Lee flinched automatically at the shoulder tap, breaking her focus for a moment. She turned her head to look at Liam. Her expression was wary and uncertain of the man- she hadn't known how she should feel toward him since they had left that art gallery. And now that all of this was happening, and seeing the blood that stained his being...yet he still smiled at her. Lee's mouth twisted into a sort of confused frown. I won't care how much money you have if you get blood on my keyboard, you little- "Fine." Lee shrugged off the uncertainty, at least for the time being. There were more important things than her feelings. There were always more important things, and she was content to keep it that way. "So what do you want me to look for, exactly?"

Liam noticed the slight falter in her compliance, probably due to the fact that he just openly admitted he was a phychopath, tortued a man until he cried, and nearly killed their leader. There was bound to be wariness between them...

"I actually already had a place in mind. Leon obviously will expect us to choose an isolated and possibly heavily guarded area. After all, we're not as feared or as well known as he is, and we can't afford to be too obvious," he explained, whipping out his phone. "I had some of my...ah...contacts research for me, and I believe I've found a place that could effectively allow us to hide in plain sight," he finished, pulling up said property and holding out the device to Lee. The two story place was owned by one of his operative's employers, and the man was either a fugitive, extremely paranoid, or both. Everything was bulletproof, soundproof, and already came with several deadly contraptions to keep intruders out. "I wouldn't ask around about the owner however, his name's sort of a taboo."
