"I've got some form of countermeasure to this." Neo pulled out small devices that look like they'd fit in a person's ear, however there are only eight of them. "Each group will have one person with this in their ear. It'll allow at least communication between some of the groups. Mine's already inside my body so that's why there's only eight." Neo had thought they might need to do this when he volunteered. So he'd put down his other experiments to whip up these devices. "They're not perfect and electricity will short them out, so Droll, you won't be able to use it." He gave the rotom a serious look.

"Ill take one of the ear pieces and I will also travel with whichever group needs me. I think it would be wise to mix up or elements and fighting styles to have a well rounded variety. That way we can be prepared for most situations that may happen during our little expedition." The blaziken glares at the literal hothead of a female blaziken that attacked her comrade outright. She had no right nor reason to do so and seeing it happen was getting his own blood boiling, like it had when the blaziken declared she would defeat every single one of them. Something Crimson would very much like to see her try.

"No gears, no tesla coils, no probing. I've been working on this technology alone for a little over a month now. It may not be perfect, but it's close enough." Neo felt insulted that a former steel kingdom member, could question its development. "Of course a lot of this wouldn't be possible without the fairy, dark, and on occasion electric kingdom's contributions. Thankfully I made them 75% stable before this journey began. As for you" Neo turned to Crimson "I said I already looked into which pairs, it would be. Some will have mixed types, some will not. It's just how it goes."

Xerses just stood by Caligo as he watched the rest of the group collect, bicker and plan their next move, he knew that he'd be a bad option for wearer of the communication device since he wasn't even able to perform normal speech. He sat down on the ground and opened his gem bag, pulled out an amethyst and chewed down on it. The Blaziken woman certainly seemed to have some issues against the rest of the group, which had led to the group aquiring some issues towards her as well, he wouldn't be surprised if she'd either kill, or be killed by, her pair member, all he knew was that there was a few gijinkas that he'd like to be paired with, and she was not one of them.

Droll said, "Alright." to Neo's statement. He didn't want to be the cause of any problems and this was just asking for trouble. Droll just stood there, waiting for further orders from Neo. He was a bit surprised that Neo, the steel rep, was taking up the task of leadership. Then again, it wasn't like anyone was going to challenge the attorney of a boy and his giant mechanized golem. As he thought about that, he came up with the inquiry 'Does he dream of electric sheep?' He wasn't sure why he was thinking about that.

Désirée watched everyone quarrel, not necessarily having any ideas really to give to any of the representatives that had already been said. So she merely just stood where she was, looking around at the forest around her, observing her surroundings. As the idea of forming pairs was mentioned, Désirée had her doubts on the issue. As they were going into some unknown area with what it entails also being highly unknown, she believed that they should break into a number that was more than pairs. "Umm..?" She mumbled, speaking up a little too the group, trying to attract their attention. The dark-skinned woman honestly had not talked at all to anyone else—excluding to the little Sableye who had deftly been able to manage her black mane—so this was a little difficult. "I think that we should form groups of more than two people." She spoke up awkwardly. It would be a miracle if anyone would hear her with all the rest of the group's bickering.

Jagger the Noivern rolled his shoulders back, his wings following suit as they folded downwards beside him, his tail curling to the side. He walked up to the group whilst they quarreled, standing there and looking pretty, for the most part. He looked over at a short dark-skinned girl as she tried to speak up, before looking back over to the group. Jagger ran a couple fingers through his thick hair as he looked up at the trees. There was not much for him to say here, so he did not.

Xerses long ears twitched, he heard a voice, different from the others, he'd heard it before, however it was getting drowned by the rest of the voices, as he sat up and looked around so did he see the Trevenant girl, she seemed to be trying to speak to the rest of the people, however of course so did hear her. Xerses wanted the rest to notice her, since he wanted to hear what she had to say, however he knew that even if he'd go over to listen to her so wouldn't he be able to help her with the rest. He decided to be a bit more dramatic, he stood up and made a small Shadow Ball in his hand, he then crushed it, making it explode within his fist, the explosion was captured, however it hurt like hell and when he opened his hand again so did he see that his entire palm was scorched, however it managed to get most, if not all, of the gijinkas attention, he then pointed towards the Trevenant to show that she was the one they should focus on.

Fair enough. If think that is the wisest de-" Crimson what cut off mid sentence when one of the fellow quest members here caused a rather loud explosion by crushing a shadow ball. The sound mad Crimson cut off mid sentence and spin around towards with his hands up, ready to fight. However , he noticed he just wanted people to pay attention to the person who had spoken about being more than two at a time. "Well, its not like I didn't hear you. If my earlier statement didn't suffice I'll tell you explicitly then. I think we should go in mixed groups to have us better prepared for a wider variety of situations. So I'm in agreement.

Pushing himself up into a sitting position The Oracle hung his head discreetly, stung by what the Marowak's statement said about how he compared physically to her. "Mind over matter anyway." He grumbled at her out of the corner of his mouth, lifting his head to watch the others. The other gijinka seemed to have an aggravating affinity for treating him like a sack of potatoes and seemed an inch away from beating on him like one.

"Thanks for saving me."

Flicking an ear towards the sound, almost unsure he'd heard it for a moment the Espeon decided it wasn't imagined and re-evaluated his companion. Probably having a bad day, just like everyone else here when you get down to it. He considered a teasing "now, was that so hard?" but he decided that at best she was at most six inches away from beating him within an inch of his life.

Remaining passive throughout the initial part of the discussion until the subject of splitting into pairs came up he looked at the Marowak imploringly, hoping to stick close to her.
Can't be worse than being stuck with the mad Blaziken. When the silent ghost crushed his own shadow ball The Oracle shot to his feet, launching his own shadow ball towards the noise on instinct while desperately shifting his aim as he recognised the target, the livid orb of energy instead shot to the right of the ghost rep and struck the massive Aggron gijinka in the chest.

"Oh son of a-."

Claudia was one of ghe last to speak. She knew how the votes went most wanted to split up. "My vote, though it doesnt really matter, is to stay grouped. However you probably know there are 10 votes to split up. So ill just suck it up. Split us up Steel rep." She put pn a brave fave as she worried about how everyone would fare on their own.

Neo nodded. "As she said the majority is for splitting up. Currently the pairs i see best are the normal and dragon kingdoms. Claudia will be nice enough to help out our late arrival. Ground will go with psychic." Neo turned to Talia. "He can cover you better than most of us will. Youre purely a physical fighter. Next electric and darkness. You both seem like the kind thatll keep your enemies at a distance and will compliment each other well. Bug and water. Just keep an eye on each other. Both of you can be problems. Flying and poison. You two have a good calm sense about you. Itll be nice having a collected individual to keep in touch with. Ice and rock. You two seemed to hit it off at the little party. Ghost and grass. Youre both quiet and should be able to collect intel quickly. As we're the only ones extremely comfortable around our golems Caligo and I will be in a pair. And that leaves fire and fighting. You seem to be the only one thatd be able to handle her if she goes berserk. Good luck. We meet up at that hill the bug rep pointed out in foir days. That gives plenty of time to look for the missing gijinka. Keep in contact as best you can. Thats all." Neo clapped and hoped that the others would listen.

Kuro had remained quiet throughout the exchange, deciding against placing a vote. He was afraid he would have one of his fits if he even so much as opened his mouth. He didn't want the others to see that. It wasn't because of pride, but the fact that he feared being pitied. If the others pitied him or felt they needed to protect him, his newly gained freedom would disappear. Kuro looked at the electric representative when he was told that they would be pairing up. He hadn't spoken or interacted with anyone except the sableye, so he had no qualms with the rontom. It just meant that Kuro would have to wear the communication device, forcing him to speak to people. "Sounds reasonable." His breathing had evened out enough to talk.

Caligo was glad that Neo had placed them together. She had been worried that she had upset him earlier, but that didn't seem to be the case - much to her glee. She was also fascinated by the boy and his golem. Being paired would allow her to learn more about them. She was also curious as to what Neo had meant by the communication device being inside his body. Was he hollow like Nox? Many similar questions buzzed around in Caligo's head. She gave Neo a large smile to show she approved of his choice.

"Hm, Don't worry. Ill keep that hot headed vixen in line." Crimson takes a long glare at the female blaziken and turns away from her, sending the mesage that he can and will take her down if he had too. In his mind he will not lose to her. Not to mention Crimson felt like she needed somebody to teach her some damn respect. Whether she liked it or not they were a team and she didnt have to like any of them. But she had better respect them.

Droll noticed that Neo seem to have thought out the pairing very thoroughly. "Okay." he said, casually, not really bothered by Neo's choice. Droll was pretty okay with the pairing, he had nothing really to worry about. He had no problems or squabbles being paired with the dark kingdom rep, even though he new one dark-type move could probably kick his ass. He just hoped that he wouldn't get on the dark rep's bad side through this team-up.

Xerses wasn't dissapointed with his assigned partner, the Trevenant girl was one of the few he found would be easiest to cooperate with, however before they left he wanted to fix his singed hand, he walked over to the Audino girl who'd healed his leg earlier and held out his scorched palm towards her. Once his hand was healed he walked to his partner and looked at the girl, hoping that he hadn't scared her with his dramatic action, he didn't intend for anyone to get scared, he just couldn't figure out any other way to get the others attention.

Sirris fumed as the Milotic gijinka admonished him, like some child. He wasn't trying to damn well get away with anything. He'd just be best alone, as not one of those he had seen could likely match his speed when he'd be searching. Idiot woman, he thought, she hadn't even thought about what he was when she tried to be all holier-than-thou on him. With the way she dressed, he doubted that she truly was, very much.

Now Neo was deciding their pairings. He decided to give in, it wasn't worth bothering to explain to these dimwits. He was going to, at least... until he was paired with that Milotic slut. God damnit.

His mind thought through it all, evaluating it: was it more worth running off, arguing, or telling her to go get fucked, or just let it happen? Ugh, I'm going to have to deal with these twats for the whole damn expedition. I'm not making any bridges that I don't need... but even this bitch would probably pay to be on the good side of.

Walking up to her, he said, "Let's get going then. No use waiting around."

Starting off at a brisk pace, he didn't bother checking to see if she was behind him. She could follow however she liked, it didn't bother him.

Sonya grabbed the earpiece from Neo as she chased after the rogue male. She was NOT happy about having to travel with this guy, but she could figure that the steel rep had a plan. She sighed as she put the device in her ear and could hear what was going on back at the camp despite the fact that they'd already gotten out of earshot of normal hearing. "The steel kingdom's technology is impressive to say the least." She smiled as she began to walk and just enjoy the scenery. She no longer cared about the man walking in front of her. She let her hair down, and it naturally just seemed to fit that elegance that she carried herself with. She ended up walking past the accelgor and then began to drift around trees as she hummed a melody Lady Mayuki had taught her.

"If i go beserk?!..." The Female Blaziken simply huffed and began to walk off, fists squeaking with pressure as she punched a tree, cracking it as she walks off, the feeling of the other Blaziken, and that damn Espeon, taking charge like that, if only she'd been mentored by the Ghost Faction... "Listen up, if you're going to be my partner, you need to stay out of my damn way..." She huffed.

"Oh son of a-."
The Aggron barely had time to look before the shadow ball rocketed into his chest and sent him tumbling down as he grunted, the large gijinka winced before sitting up, armour cracked as he glared at the psychic. "Please. Do not do that again." He said solemnly before getting with up a heaving down, face flustered with the pain of the strike.

"Hmph. The only thing that's in your way is your damn attitude. Let's just get this over with damn brute." The male blaziken keeps pace with the angered female blaziken with relative ease after grabbing the earpiece from Neo. When she strikes a passing tree and cracks it by letting loose a punch, Crimson only shakes his head with a sigh. This wasn't going to end very well but then again who else could handle her personality except another fiery blaziken. He rolled his eyes at the idea but couldn't help a smile upon his lips at the thought of engaging in combat with this brutish woman.

Walking as she felt herself slowly relax, she looked over her shoulder at the other Blaziken, while he was cocky, he didn't even know about her hidden power. "So why the hell did you follow me weakling?" Ashe grunted at Crimson, wanting to find someone to strike down.

"Because, unfortunately I'm stuck with you. They also seem to think I'm the only one that can deal with you. They aren't wrong. Because it seems like all you want to do is pick a fight. If a fight is what you want then believe me a damn fight is what I'll give you. Otherwise, let's get this done. Sooner we are done with this scouting mission the better."

"I'm sooorrryyyy!!" The Oracle sprinted over to the Aggron while he was sitting up, babbling frantically. "I wasn't aiming at you I was trying not to hit the guy that made that noise because it freaked me out and I didn't want to hit him and I said that already!" Pausing to breathe he tried to help pull the larger gijinka to his feet growing even more stressed at his obviously pained expression. "Oh Gods does it hurt? I mean does it hurt badly?" Stepping back the Espeon mentally debated running into the unknown lands, running home or staying and probably getting knocked out, he hoped his partner might just decide to drag him off again and save him the trouble of choosing.

Talia shook her head. "Stupid, you already apologized, it's more than I'd do. If he didn't already have one foot in the grave he could've avoided it!." Talia was really annoyed that her partner was a babbling idiot that REALLY had no idea how to deal with people. She took the earpiece from Neo, grabbed Oracle once again and started walking off into unkown lands. "You are the BIGGEST PIECE OF DEAD WEIGHT EVER!!!" Talia grumbled as she put the earpiece in oracle's ear. "You listen I don't do the whole teamwork thing." Talia really wished she could've gone off with the bug rep. He would've been a better choice based off of personality. "What's your name?" Talia realized she hadn't introduced herself nor had her "partner".

"Stupid, you already apologized, it's more than I'd do. If he didn't already have one foot in the grave he could've avoided it!."

Covering a sigh of relief as his partner grabbed him again the Espeon glanced over at the gijinka he'd shot and called out. "Have to go now, hope you feel better soon."

"You are the BIGGEST PIECE OF DEAD WEIGHT EVER!!!" Well you do treat me like one, I mean I took advantage-. "Hey watch it!" He yelped as she stuffed the earpiece in his ear, he quickly reached up to adjust it so that it sat in his cat-like ear properly. "I hope this thing works ok in there, is it on? How do you work this thing?"

"You listen I don't do the whole teamwork thing." Oh really? I might never have guessed. "What's your name?" "Hmm?" The normally simple question made him stop fiddling with the gadget and focus on his partner. "Name? I'm...actually not sure, I haven't used it since.." Trailing off he looked confused and a little distressed. "Anyway I've always been called by my title 'Oracle' nothing else, unless you have something better in mind that'll do. I guess, I don't fit the position anymore but it's not like I have anything else." He fell silent and stared up at the sky trying to rein in his depression. "Sorry you probably expected a shorter answer to that. How about you show me how to do it without telling a sad story?"

Apex gave a short wave of reassurance as he looked to the Espeon before turning to his Ice partner, the Dewgong girl as he pulled out jagged pieces of Steel as his Armour reconstructed slowly. "I apoligize about that, i should have kept my eyes open. Furthermore, i also apologize if you didn't want to become my partner, hopefully we can get along." He bowed before grunting in pain and kneeling on one knee. "Oof... Sorry Miss Dewgong, It's been a while since i felt a special attack that strong..." He uttered, smirking a little before attempting to stand back up.
