(AW lmfao! So where should I start? There's not that many people here as I can see)
(Maybe just be lying on the shore and wake up mysteriously, not sure quite what happened but that all you remember is falling off the stolen boat or something. Idk lol)

Hunter groans, knocked out on the shore. The water splashed against her face - slowly waking her up and she sat up, coughing once the water invaded its way into her mouth. "Disgusting." She muttered before looking around. "What the...."

[ Sorry for the late start, but I will be stepping into the role play. She was trying to help save the boat but jumped off just before is was submerged and swam to shore. ]

Her breaths were staggered, vision blurred, her muscles were running out of oxygen and she collapsed in the shallow water. The sand felt nice, but she was still coughing up salty sea. She let the waves push her toward shore and lay there, head sticking to the cool sand. The sun down, and the sky was dark, twinkling stars shined in the sky. At least she didn't drown, that was for sure.

Rosalie was excited for this trip, she was. But her one true nightmare had come true, and she was horrified.
Make the best of it while you can... She told herself. Rose gradually stood up and looked up, a wall of rock stood in her way, she had lost where her friends had taken off, and chose a different direction to swim. She needed to climb over these and get back to them and see who needed help.

Rose was learning to become a paramedic. She knows CPR and First Aid. She went to nursing school and a survival training camp. She was practicing for this stuff.

She climbed the rock, lungs burning and muscles ached from the long swim itself, now it had to hold 135 pounds while climbing a steep twenty foot wall of rock. Not a crazy height but she was exhausted.
Please just get to them soon... She walked around the shore, knowing they wouldn't go as far as the shallow tree bed she would walk in the sand until she spotted them, or she was spotted by them.

She heard voices and smiled, heading into the slight brush. She ran, hopping over logs, "ROYAL! HUNTER! HEY!" she yelled everyone's names before slamming into someone. Oakley. She looked up and grinned, "Oh my god." she wasn't one to hug but it was the greatest feeling to see her friend, she squeezed his torso firmly and pulled away, "Is everyone ok?" she asked. The blonde wore a white shirt that tied into a knot at her waist with a black bikini with white polka-dots and small ripped shorts and bare feet. Sandals not making the sad trip. Her hair was wet and it clung to her face along his her damp clothes. She ran a hand through her hair, detaching it from her skin.

Hunter, hearing her name called, looked around. She puffed her salty hair out of her face and got up. "Rose?" She staggered a bit and stumbled over to a couple of rocks by the shore to sit on until her legs didn't feel like jelly anymore.

Royal glanced to the source of the sound of someone saying his name. He was surprised to see Rose. "I knew we were missing some people... Hiya Rose. You okay?" He asked, glancing over at Gospel before giving a light hearted smile. It seemed that everyone was at least alive. Shaken, but alive.

" Shouldn't we be making a fire or something?" Emily asked, she was trembling from how cold she felt and the wind had picked up since they arrived on this hell on earth. She rubbed her hands together closed her eyes and thought about sitting in front of a fireplace feeling the warmth on her skin, she blinked hard hoping that her present situation was all a dream.

"What are we going to do guys? How are we going to make a night out here with no WiFi?" Emily thought she was losing her mind, with each minute that passed more and more worse things were presenting itself.

Hunter looked over at Emily and chuckled. "We're going to wait this out and hope for someone to come get us. We dont need wifi." She slid off the rocks and walked over to the group. "Can't be long until someone comes."

Royal gave a slightly awkward grin. "Besides, we don't need any real technology to survive out here... People have survived for long amounts of time alone on islands so I think we can do it with a huge group. In fact, I think we should pick pairs to survive in so each pair only has to worry about themselves instead of everyone else. That and we come make fun out if this situation to keep our sanity." Royal had always loved the idea of survival. He'd read countless books on it and watched plenty of shows on it, but funny thing was he couldn't really remember much of what he learned from either. He did know that huge groups could potentially be as much a disaster as being alone and that keeping your sanity plays an important role in survival.

(this is long to make up for my lateness!)

For the hundredth time that night, Victoria regretted boarding the stolen boat. One, it was illegal, two, she didn't trust the skills of the "Navy Cadet" whom the others had voted to be their captain, and three, the small boat barely looked like it was up to safety regulations.

Why, you may ask, was she on this boat? Now, that was a question she was still struggling to answer.

Despite her attempts to persuade them, the others deemed the joy-ride as only a bit of fun. Flustered by the stupidity of it all, Vicky declared that she would not be joining the others on the boat and was met with little resistance. It was only then that she realized that she was the only one staying on shore... not even Beth. Now that was another problem. Years of watching the News gave her a feeling that a lone woman standing in the middle of the docks at night in some third-world island wasn't the greatest option. So reluctantly she decided it would be better to stay with the group.

She thought of this as she sprinted through the knee deep waters. It almost made her laugh with insanity at the tragic irony of it all. Of course she had seen this coming, the boat was in horrid condition and the boat's directional machinery was probably off. That is why she was sprinting away from where her friends were preparing the raft and towards the cabin of the sinking ship. Victoria guessed that their captain had most likely lost his way completely and was too proud to admit it to his friends.

"Come on, there has to be a map around here." she thought frantically as her hands searched through the papers crowding the metallic shelf. It dawned on her that this was stupid, but they would need an idea where they were. Her hand found a folded piece of parchment with lines etched on its surface, but she didn't have any time to look at it before it was shoved into her satchel along with the other papers that had clung wetly to it.

She was about to rush through the door when she spotted a first aid kit attached to the wall. Her hand had just closed around the cloth case when a large wave crashed into the ship.

The dark sky flashed below her and the rose up suddenly to meet her, filling her nose and mouth with water. When her head rose above the water, coughing up the wretched water, all she could see was waves and rocks. After a couple moments she realized that the raft was retreating away from her. She didn't even have the first aid kit any more and the map would be soaked along with everything else in her bag.

"Hey! Help!" she yelled out to them before she lost sight of the raft behind another wave. "Beth! Anybody!... please don't leave me..." her shouts eventually faded into a whimper when she realized that they couldn't hear her.

Then the first aid kit floated by.

Desperately she swam after it, trying to put some purpose behind her idiotic attempt in retrieving a map. How could she be so stupid? Though when she caught onto the red and white kit she was caught with yet another problem; she was beside a sinking ship, which might drag her down with it, and she didn't even have a PFD on.

"Pull it together Victoria, you've got this. You're okay, you're okay..." she murmured to herself while she swam a couple of meters over to a jagged rock for a rest. Salt water sprayed into her eyes as she clung onto the miserable rock, planning her next course of action.

I found out two things today, Apparently my body did not get the memo that the boat was sinking so it did not bother to wake me up, and also my friends suck at counting and forgot about me so they did not wake me up.and when I finally did wake up it was to salty water in my mouth, let me tell you not pleasant.Beth's eyes shot open when she felt cold salty water in her mouth.she sat up and spit it out.she looked around the dark cabin and saw that it was almost filled with water.good thinking taking a nap on the top bunk Elizabeth!I have to get out now!Adrenalin started pumping in her body, she jumped off the bed into 8'5 feet deep freezing water.she swam out of the cabin and up the stairs that were barely visible in the night.she made it to the top deck to find waist deep water. Running to the end of the boat felt like a life time in water.once she reached it she looked over the side to see the life boat her friends must have toke.she looked at the distance between them and swore.they're to far away to reach i'll just get too tired before I reach them and they are moving too so.....dang.the only choice she had was to try to swim to the faint outskirts of island that was barely visible in the moon light that her friends were moving towards.so she decided that there could be a very small chance that she would make it to there and that small chance was beater then none.so she jumped into the water that in the hot mornings looked so blue but now looked like a black abyss.as she swam all of a sudden she was swept under and taken by the current.she decided that the current was too strong to fight so she just focused on keeping her head under water.she managed this for about 30 minuets before the current grew fierce and pulled her under deep.her being a swimmer was able too hold her breath a little longer but not enough to free herself.she did not scream she did not even struggle as she hit the hard rock and sand she just stared up at the sky as she thought might be her last.the current still tugged her across the hard ground making scrapes upon her back but none of this registered in her mind. her body was numb and the edges of her vision blurry as she was tugged farther and farther in the direction unknown to her she just stared at the moon that felt 1000 times brighter now, in till she closed her eyes and accepted any fate that was to come of her.

Beth coughed up what felt like a ocean before she was able to see where she was.she could only see that she was on a sandy beach near a pitch black forest.she rubbed her eyes that burred like a gasoline fire.her thought felt like sandpaper and her back felt like it was on fire.she looked around and then the throught popped into her head: this could be the island that my friends are on!she scrambled up and regretted it instantly.she felt like a truck had run over her head and a huge wave of nausea passed over her making her gag.her head pounded with a huge migraine and her body felt so tired like she had stayed up for 5 days straight. taking a huge gulp of air that sent flashes of pain through her throat and she yelled with a horse voice.

"hello is anyone here! Guys! ANYONE?!" she yelled this as she walked along the edge of the forest.

Royal heard another of his friends' voices, it was Beth! His eyes darted around his surroundings until they caught a glimpse of Beth not far down the treeline. He waved his arms in the air dramatically like a majestic seagull flapping his wings. "BETH!!! OVER HERE!!" Royal stood up but just as quickly as he did so he fell flat on his ass out of his pure clumsiness.

Beth let out a cough sort of laugh when she saw Royal fall on his butt. She then pulled out the last bit of strength she had and jogged towards him.

"what is going on Royal?!? why was the boat sinking???" she said but by the last part her voice almost went away.she cleared her throat as she helped Royal of the ground.

"by the way smooth buddy. smooth." she said but her voice was just barely over a wispier and she laughed at him jokingly and then cleared her throat again and hugged her freezing wet chest.

Royal gave a nervous and awkward laugh since he didn't like blaming others, especially not his all time crush. "Uhh.. Well.... Gospel kinda made a few small mistakes and umm... Well, now we're here. But are you okay? You look like you got hit by a truck." He knew she was freezing cold but giving her his semi soaked sweater, leaving him shirtless, wouldn't help that much. Still, he took it off and spent a few minutes wringing it out and then handing it to Beth. "I know it's not much, but I hope it helps. And don't worry about me... I can handle the cold pretty alright." He gave a little smile before cracking his knuckles and his neck, a common habit of his when he simply didn't know what to do next. That and it made him feel stronger and more durable than he actually was.

Beth gladly took the shirt and pulled as much of it as she could around her body.

"so let me get this straight we broke into the harbor when it was closed, then we stole a boat and now we are stuck on an island...nice.Well you know what they say it is better to be carried by 12 then 6?" she said with a smile.(it's better to be carried by 12 then 6 means it is better to be carried by 12 into court then carried by 6 into your funeral.)

@burninglog

Royal gave half a laugh before turning his face into something morbid before half joking. "Six can't carry what they can't find." Then he laughed again. He knew full well that jokes were meant for times of despair, so while anyone else might've thought it to be a dick move to joke about dying, Royal only thought that by staying light hearted and joking around he would help his friends stay positive as well.

"ya....haha..." she gave a little laugh but still did not really mean it that joke sort of scared her.

"well anyway were is the rest of the bunch and........*gasp* were's Vicky?!??!?!" she said and at the last part her voice cracked when she said it.she knew that he would think that it was just her throat but it would have cracked even if her throat was fine.the worst came into thought as she waited for him to answer she just wished over all that she had not left her back on the boat and Vicky was still looking for her.please be here please.

@burninglog

Royal scratched the back of his head and shut his eyes to avoid the question. "I... don't know...?... I kinda passed out or something pretty early on so I'm kinda lost a bit myself on who made it and who didn't..." His voice had heightened as he spoke, internally scared shitless and panicking whilst outwardly he simply looked like an awkward kid who couldn't give half a shit what was going on around him.

Victoria had read a few novels about people surviving from plane crashes or sinking boats, but there was always some convenient object that the main character had used as a flotation device. Unfortunately she didn't have the same luxury.

"Think, Victoria, think!" she muttered angrily to herself, trying to think clearly while at the same time resisting the pull of the waves.

One crashed into her rock just moments before, nearly sweeping her back into the endless blue. It took everything she had to keep her grip on the jagged surface of the rock when she could barely feel her numbing extremities.

A loud bubbling sound followed by a sudden current heralded the ship's decent down to the bottom of the surging black waters. She had enough time to look over her shoulder and watch helplessly as the bow was swallowed up by the waves.

"I need to get away before I join it..." she thought when the bubbling died down. "Okay, stay calm... fear ruins logic."

She took a deep breath and looked around her. Behind her was the bubbling area in which the boat had sunken into, to her right was open sea and most importantly, to her left was where her friends' raft had gone with a dark shape in the distant. An island!

With one arm holding onto the rock face she then attempted to stuff the first-aid kit into her satchel. Once the struggle was finished her bag floated behind her from the buoyancy of the kit. That gave her an idea; she let go of her bag.

She clung onto the rock and waited for a moment, watching her bag with fierce intent. Though the waves threw it off course every now and then, she could see the current as it swept her bag towards where the raft had been lost from her sight. She was pleased to discover that it was also leading towards this 'island' (or so she hoped) and felt a spark of hope.

All that was left to do was swim.

Recalling a diagram she had seen while flipping through an ocean survival pamphlet, she remembered a way to conserve energy by using currents. She allowed herself to float in an upright position and took a deep breath before lowering her head into the water and bringing her arms forward in a resting position. The current dragging her along and when she held her head above the waves again to get some air she found that she had caught up with her bag.

"When I find that Gospel I'm going to kill him!" she swore mentally as she continued along the current, her bag dragging along.

Beth's face went into shock everything was silent.her voice was just a little squeak.

"O...ok that's fine I mean it was very scary." she said shock had not settled in yet.she took a gulp of air to try to prevent herself from crying.she just sat down onto the sand slowly.she could still be alive don't worry.she felt one tear fall down her right cheek as her mind was filled with every bad thought imaginable.

@burninglog

Royal sat next to Beth and rubbed her shoulder blade in a rhythmic circular motion with his thumb. He hated seeing anyone cry or get sad, so it wasn't surprising that he was trying to nonverbally comfort his friend. He'd never been good with words when comforting, so he liked to just stay by their side to show he was there for them. With his free hand he brushed his lavender hair out of his face, as the clumpy wet mess was annoyingly covering his face. Royal continued trying to comfort Beth, hoping that it was actually helping.

Jake suddenly woke up to the sound of all the copious amounts of water rushing into his sealed cabin room, with way too much vigour, as it came through his sealed window and the closed door, which only meant one thing, the boat was sinking. Water splashed on his face with great force as he rushed to the pressurized door, pulling it with increased strength, courtesy to the sudden burst of adrenaline. Obviously, the door was resolutely stuck, and of course, he was smart enough to know that it was since they, or he in this case, was underwater. He waited for the cabin to submerge, in what he felt was one of the most awkwardly morbid moments in his entire life.

After he was finally submerged, he pulled open the door, which successfully and obviously opened up. Jake quickly swam up towards the sky. Fortunately, the ship didn't go down that deep enough for him to not reach the surface. Upon reaching the surface and the clear air, he breathed a deep sigh of relief before catching one of those buoys which were still afloat, using it to go to that really nearby island.

15 minutes later

That island really wasn't that near or so it seemed as it took 15 of his precious time away. He steadily watched the shoreline, as a few dots on it slowly became more clearer, before he finally realized that those were his friends who had clearly ditched him in an act of opposite altruism. He was partially angered and partially happy to see them, mostly because they did survive and didn't succumb to the frozen depths of the deep ocean, which was a merely an exaggerated phrase. He landed on the shoreline, toppling over the buoy as his chest hit the sandy beach, inches away from hitting his face. He immediately sprang up from the ground, completely drenched in cold water.

"It looks like I made it, eh? And it also looks like everybody momentarily forgot about me." He remarked with a weary smile, before looking at everyone as his face slowly turned into a more serious expression. He brushed the sand off from his face as he proceeded to speak again.

"Seriously people, I could've drowned to death, if I wasn't so very deprived of sleep."
