Realistic or Modern Island Fever (Still Open Male Only)

A group of friends deciding to get away from the burdens of life for a week end up in the beautiful country of Antigua and Barbuda, with their lives all taking a different turn since they left high school having this trip was a way for them to reconnect like old times. However since leaving school the strains of their new college lives have impacted on the friendship's of each individual. With their shared week coming to an end they come to the agreement of ending it with bang over the realization of not knowing when they would see each other again. The group of friends on a spur of the moment decision head down the islands with a stranger's boat from the dock close to their hotel without anyone knowing at night to have fun on the last of their Caribbean vacation, out of nowhere (cause those things just happen right) the boat starts malfunctioning and begins to take on water. The group of friends ditches the boat and safely gets on a life raft, in the darkness they drift away and end up close to one of the islands. Now being stranded on the island with no one knowing they even left they have to fend on their own, tensions rise, emotions run crazy and friendship's break.

Royal had been hanging out inside since he wasn't too fond of even the sight of huge expanses sauch as a nearly endless giant body of water. Truth be told, he only came along because he figured 'why the hell not' as he did with many things he came to regret yet love the experience of. He peeked outside to see if everyone else was on deck since he'd lost track of time and everyone along with it. Color drained from his tan face as he realized something with utter dread: water was everywhere. Royal burst outside and unerationally started scooping water out with his bare hands frantically. "GUYS!!! HELP!!!!" He shouted back to his friends, wherever they were.

Marley

Marley was just chillin, having a good time, doing her thing when she heard Royal scream. She walked to where the sound came from and with horror saw that they were basically sinking. She spent more time hyperventilating and looking around rather than trying to help get the water out. She had a fear of open waters, and didn't like swimming and not being able to see what was underneath her.

Sky smiled she couldn't wait she loved the water. She looked at all of her old friends from high school. Soon she sat down and looked at the water. Sky heard Royal scream and she felt the water on her feet she sat there for a moment and soon realized what happened. She ran looked around trying to figure out where the water was coming from @anybody

Royal suddenly stopped scooping with his hands and stared at them for a few moments, finally realizing how useless they were in this situation. That stupid ass water isn't gonna be my deathbed! I can't die like this!! I need to fix it before it fixes me down its depths! He ran inside and came back out with some sort of mini trash can. He dumped the current contents over the side before scooping up water more efficiently but it still was pretty pointless at this point. Internally, Royal was freaking the fuck out but on the outside he seemed just determined not to die quite yet although he could feel something wet covering his face. He honestly couldn't tell if it was the water, his desperate tears, or both.

Sky saw the leak and ran over she tried to do something but it was useless the hole was to big she kept trying to do something but it was useless. She prayed 'Oh God please don't let us die here today' she still tried to do something. @anybody

Emily was afraid of this sudden trip they were taking out at night but didn't mind terribly because she was getting great selfies with the lighting of the moon above. It was there last night on the impromptu vacation and sure she had tons of fun catching up but she really wanted to get back to her daily life, she missed her dog and her boyfriend Tyson.


She passed her fingers through her blonde hair, neatly fixing it on her shoulder before snapping another picture. Emily looked at it and quickly deleted it not liking how it came out, she was about to snap another when she heard commotion coming from underneath. "What is all the hoop la about?" Emily asked peeping through the entrance.

 

[Skylark]

Sky looked shocked that Emily was sitting there taking selfies "the boat is being flooded" she said as she tried everything to stop the leak. Then she saw another one. "Oh God save us" she said as she then saw another one.

Royal kept scooping and tossing water overboard and heard Sky reply to Emily. As he ran to the edge of the boat to dump out more water, he slipped and nearly fell entirely overboard. He just barely caught the railing but his body was o the wrong side of it and his grip had never been that strong, especially with slippery water everywhere. Royal began lifting himself back over the railing but felt his grip slip. He screamed like a little girl as a loud splash could be heard and more dramatic splashing as he barely kept his head above the water half the time. The boat was drifting away from him slowly and he was a godawful swimmer.

Gospel was piloting this ship and he thought he was doing very well, that rock he just hit was nothing really.


It was going to be an amazing trip, he had hopped a barbed wire fence to hijack the little boat and was very proud to show off his years of sea cadets, even if his boating license was expired by 3 years.


But now there was screams and the boat was taking on water, maybe he shouldn't have taken those shots before piloting a boat in the middle of the night. What? The rocks didn't seem like that big of an issue. The bigger issue was the fact that there were holes in the hull and they were taking on water."Well... Shit," he mutters to himself and grabs his bag from the floor and runs from the wheel to check on the ship.


"So, I may have broken the ship," he offers to his other friends who were freaking out. He was freaking out.


I need to get this on video. There was a sort of numb shock, they were in the middle of nowhere and their boat was taking on water.


Maybe they should have grabbed some life vests?

Marley looked in shock as Royal fell over board. She had taken life guard classes before in high school, so she ran to the railing and dove in, swimming over to him. "Are you okay?" She asked, feeling uneasy as she looked at the open water surrounding them. She grabbed his arm and slung in over her neck, holding the both of them above the water.

Sky also saw them and looked for a rope she ran over and tossed it over waiting for them to grab it. Sky bit her lip as she was freaking out @youngin @burninglog

"Oh," was all she said and began taking pictures of them and the water gushing in. Emily didn't realize the very dangerous situation they were in and thought it was pretty interesting, she decided to hell with the pictures and began taping the awesomeness happening before her eyes. She turned with her phone as Gospel came up and she got him into the shot, she then ran to the railing to try and get Marley as she dove into the water but it was too dark.

Sky walked over to Emily and snatched her phone "help stop the water" she said Sky gave her back the phone and she was not afraid to take it away again. @Troubledsoul1

Royal took in quick shallow breaths, clearly terrified as he struggled to answer Marley's question. He wanted to say 'yeah, I'm fine' but something told him they might not make it back to shore. Instead, his voice nearly cracked as he spoke, his answer sounding more like a question by the end. "I-I think so..?... Thanks." Royal glanced nervously all around at the deep waters surrounding the two and the boat. He saw a rope appear hanging over the side of the boat, quickly grabbing it and trying to pull himself up with a little struggle since he'd never had that much strength other than in his legs. He finally reached the top and threw himself over the railing, keeping a tight grip on it as he did so. Royal looked back down at Marley and waited for her to climb up as well.

Marley took a deep breath a climbed up the rope, reaching the top and flopping into the water with a splash. "So, we're gonna have to swim for shore," She said loudly, pointing at about the half mile swim to the island that looked somewhat abandoned. Definitely not looking forward to it. "And my eyeliner was on fleek today, too.." She said, mostly to herself as she looked at the flooding water.

Oakley sat at the end of boat for most of the trip, staring at the horizon where the sun was slowly fading. This had seemed like a good idea at the time but the further away the got from the island the more his stomach knotted. A scream startled him into reality and he swung around into a puddle of water. He sat dumb founded for a second, taking a minute to process what was happening. He noticed a red label, and a large yellow piece of plastic and he quickly realized it was a life boat. "We have a life boat!" he exclaimed. his adrenaline was taking over and he barely noticed the others in the water. He pulled the string and a large yellow boat blew up to the side. He looked around at the others, unsure of what to do next.

Sky saw the boat and did all that she knew what to do she got a rope and tied it to the boat so it wouldn't drift away and then she threw it into the water "EVERYONE INTO THE BOAT" Sky yelled

Sweet, she's got it on film.


His dark eyes widen as he watches Roy emerge from the water. He is a very smart cadet and his training kicks in, twisting around to find the designated life-vest box. Sliding and splashing through the rapidly sinking boat's deck, Gospel flings open the box and cackles into the air.


"Guess who found the floaties!" He shouts triumphantly and starts throwing the neon orange vests haphazardly towards anyone still on deck.


The life raft expanding rapidly catches his attention and he grabs the fifth vest for himself. "Oaky, my man!" He grins as he approaches the man with the raft, offering a hand for a hi-five.

Sky took the life jacket and hopped in the boat she stood there waiting for everyone her hair and clothes were soaked but she didn't care all she knew was that she had to survive

"Are you kidding?" Emily asked after Sky after she demanded her to help. "I am not getting my dress wet in this sea water, do you know how much this cost..I don't think so." She took out her phone to stop the useless recording of nothing and was hit with a life vest in the chest. "Hey stop with the flinging of this orange thing, what is this?"

Marley grabbed a life jacket and put it on, climbing into the boat and sitting next to Sky. "This is bullshit!" She said angrily, crossing her arms and burying her head between her knees. She normally wasn't one to use foul language but in this circumstance, it seemed to be okay.

Royal quickly put on the vest and hopped eagerly into the life boat. Almost instantly, he passed out.
