She laughed at him when he replied to her Chas comment. "See, now that is completely and utterly believable" she teased. When he equally teased by asking such a thing she chuckled, "not always...just...maybe at certain times...sometimes" she teased back with a coy smile.
"Also, love that that's where your mind goes and not the fact I blatantly said about me being blindfolded at some point in my life" she added, her signature smirk coming back.

Yes he had a dirty mind, so filthy in fact that it could stop Deadman from possessing him. A thing Boston had found out the hard way. At her response he chuckled slightly then replied in completly over the top faked disbelief "So you are telling me it's not normal for people to be blindfolded at some point in their lives? Damn, now I have to go and re-evaluate my entire life up until this point" The last part was said in an almost serious tone, with a slight hint of amusement around the edges.

She shook her head when he came back with the utter fake over the top tone of voice. He really was an ass at times she thought. She could tell there was amusement in his tone, despite the almost seriousness he tried to put into it. "Alright you bloody ass! Enough of the sassing me!" She smirked, as she resisted playfully punching him in the arm like she would do any other time.

"All I'm saying is, most guys would grill me on that until I spilled information." She added, her tone not changing too much. She glanced down and undid his tie from the knot at the back of his neck and wrapped back round his neck properly, before loosely doing it back up. "I guess I need to remember you're not like the other blokes I've come into contact with in my life." She said one last time, glancing up from his tie to his eyes.

John probably shouldn't have been taking pride in sassing Kay off, but he enjoyed it none the less. He would be lying if he said there wasn't a certain kick to be gained from annoying people by being a smart arse. After Kay finished retying the tie, he reached up and out of habit adjusted his tie, making sure it was exactly how he liked it- slightly loose and crooked, but not too wonky.

"I think it has been well established by now that neither of us are exactly most people. And if it makes things better I'm not like any bloke I've ever met either, not even my other Earth doppelganger, the handsome bastard"

Kay never had a problem with John sassing her. After all, she gave as good as she got when the sass came around. She was never one to go and get upset by a bloke sassing her. Most of the time she out sassed them and get called a crazy bitch or similar before they stormed off. So she actually found it refreshing that she found John could banter with her and not find her utterly insane.

She smirked slightly when he adjusted the tie, despite her putting it not far from how he liked it. Though she'd now know in the future if she ended up doing it again, she'd know how to. She listened to what he said and he made valid points. Neither of them were like anyone else in the world. "Valid point. Neither of us are like anyone else." she replied, holding back the temptation to say some soppy crap to him in retaliation to his other earth self.

"That's probably a good thing, could you bloody imagine how many people two John Constantines would be able to piss off? And how much chaos we would accidentally unleash?" It was clear that he was kind of relishing the thought of two of himself, while at the same time fearing it. Two of him would be a force to be reckoned with. And there was the underlying sadness that, maybe, had things been different there might have been two of him. At how different his entire life might have been. But he shoved the thoughts away into the depths of his mind.

She smirked at his reply. "I don't want to imagine the kind of crap two of you would get up to. Just like I don't wanna imagine what two of me would get up to." She replied to him. Which made her almost wonder if there's another earth him, could there be another earth her and were they bonded to each other like her and John were or were they completely opposite and enemies? Or would they have even met? It made for interesting thinking for sure in Kay's mind.

With a sigh, she slid her fingers into her jeans pockets, "anyway...we need to find something to do" she decided to change the subject, walking over to the other stuff that was around the room. Maybe she could find an old school board game or games console or something they could play. Unless he had any other ideas.

Two Kays would either be really good or incredibly awful. But one was more than enough for him to deal with currently. While Kay went looking for something else to do, John started messing around with the snooker balls, sending each of them flying into the corner pocket, before levitating them back to their storage box. He also retracted the pool table, before joining Jay in searching the shelves.

There were various decks of cards, at least twenty some regular, some specialised. There was another area devoted to consoles, naturally with all the charging wires tangled up into one giant messy lump. There were board games too, a table tennis kit and an entire row of shelves filled with box sets and files. Seemed like even aliens had DVD. John pulled out a box from one of the shelves, and opened it, laughing at the contents. "I just found the alien equivilant of Dungeons and Dragons"

Kay let him get on with what he was doing at the snooker table before he decided to put it all away. She paid no attention to him joining her looking at the shelves, though she was aware of him being there. She looked high and low trying to find something that would stand out to her.

Find the console cables in the state they were just made her frown. Untidy cables just irritated her greatly, and it out her off choosing that as a way of entertaining them because she did not want to sit through untangling everything. She looked around though when she heard John start laughing at contents of a box he picked up. "Seriously?" She asked, walking over and looking inside. Dungeons and dragons was a game she could never get to grips with. She knew of several groups back at her university back in the day that would play it in the courtyard on the benches or in the library. She'd always be amused by how enthusiastic they'd get over their characters and the direction the game was heading in. "Could never get the appeal of it myself" she commented.

"I shit you not" he smirked, rifling through the contents. He'd never played, why would he when he was learning real magic? And trying (and failing) to vanquish real demons. But he'd had that one mandatory friend who did play. "Never tried it meself, to busy doing stupid things with magic in real life, didn't see the point of the fiction" For the laugh he pulled out a d20 and rolled it onto the table. "Nat 20" He smirked, knowing enough about dice to know that rolling a twenty was an excellent roll.

"I remember seeing kids play it on breaks at uni. They'd get so enthusiastic about it, that some of the arguments it'd cause were entertainment in their own right." She said to him. Unlike him, she didn't have any friends who played, she just knew of people that played. "Can understand that. What's fiction when you live it practically right?" She replied to him as he rolled the dice.

"I have no idea what that means" she told him when he smirked at his roll, proving she literally knew nothing about it apart from it involved dice rolling, characters of myths and legends and a board and a game master of some description. She just picked up on all that from watching those played from a distance as she walked by. Her idea of relaxing on her breaks were sitting in a corner somewhere and reading.

John shrugged in response, rolling the dice around on his palm "Not sure if I said the right thing there, I'm guessing based of whatever Gary's posse of uber nerds said, I didn't really listen to them. But I am very sure rolling a twenty on a twenty sided dice is a good roll" he tucked the die into his pocket, a momento of sorts. He'd find some use for it. John replaced the box on the shelves.

"If only Elliott didn't have my guitar" John remarked partially to himself, partially to Kay.

Kay just nodded at his response. "I remember watching the kids at uni play in the court yard and get stupidly into it as I walked by. But I was the one that'd tuck herself away in the back corner of the library and read, rather than play D&D" she told him. She watched him pocket the dice bit said nothing, she knew that was his thing.

"Mm.. I'm still waiting to watch you play actually. So memo to us- after this we make time to play." She replied to him. She remembered how she once said to him she wanted to listen to his old band's music and hear him play. She also considered it only fair as he saw her play the old family piano. Turning her attention back to the shelves, she found several games that reminded her of her childhood. "Oh my god...they seriously have twister here?!" She half chuckled.

"Duly noted" he replied, remembering how keen Kay had been to hear his stuff when she first found out. But they had been interrupted by Elliott and there hadn't been a proper opportunity since them. He hadn't played in a while, the guitar was practically Elliott's, but John had no doubts that he'd remember quickly enough.

"Bloody hell really?" He responded, the surprise evident. Surely it was only humans who were stupid enough to create and play a game that involved publicly humiliating yourself by contortinh your body into strange shapes.

"maybe we can jam together one day.. after playing the old piano I'm determined to buy an keyboard so I can play again" she admitted to him. She truly missed music and if the stories were true, which so far they had roved to be, music was in the blood of the pheonix.

"Really" she replied when he reacted to her discovery. She pulled the boardgame out and showed him. It truly was traditional twister. "There's all kinds in this section. They must have found a bunch of human games and collected or something. Because it's not the only classic game here. I was a fricking boss at twister as a kid" she chuckled fondly.

"That could be fun." He smiled slightly at the idea of playing again with somebody which made him realise that there was quite a few of the new gang possessed musical talent. "we've practically got a full band between us if we rope in Chas and Elliott, and Jay can sing damn good if Ell's recordings are anything to go by"

"Maybe that is what happened, or maybe all races are just destined to create the same kinds of games. Never did quite get the hang of twister, but that might have been because every time I played I was pissed drunk" He also smiled fondly at that

She chuckled fondly, they really did have a whole new band if they were so inclined to and weren't in the lifestyle they were. He was right, Jay did one hell of a voice. It seemed quite a few of them were about to sing as well as play some kind of instrument. It just showed what a multi talented bunch of people they all were and how many sides of each of them there were.

She laughed at what he said. Hearing he was piss drunk the last time he played it did not surprise her and she could very easily envision it also. "I say we get Chas to be the spinner and we play. I might actually have found something I could beat your ass on!" She told him with a smug grin on her face.

John drunk and playing twister was exactly as it sounded. A complete and utter mess. But he never turned down a challenge. "yeah let's do that." He then realised that they had kind of abandoned the cabbie in their attempts to get away from Jay and Rinaa. "we did kind of abandon him with the broody pilot people, so having him laugh his ass of at me will make him feel better." He continued feeling slightly bad about doing that to his mate.

She was surprised he agreed so easily but was glad he did. She was ready to kick his ass at something for once in her life and then proceed to never let him live it down. When he said about Chas she nodded, "yeah.. I know he went on ahead to the med bay I think but we should still include him. Like you say, he can join me in laughing at you and seeing you lose!" She said to him.

She was so determined and smug. She walked to the centre of the room where there was the most room, "you get him, I'll set it all up!" She said as she started clearing away any little things that would get in the way or possibly injure them if they fell over... Or as she thought, when he fell over.

Judging by Kay's confidence this was going to be a decision he regretted, but then again John regretted most of his life decisions. John headed back upstairs. He stuck his head into the med-bay, no Chas. Next was the kitchen, nobody was there either. Which only really left the cockpit, so he clambered up the ladder and stuck his head through the floor hole. Lo and behold he was there.

He returned to the rec room a couple of minutes later, accompanied by both Chas and Jay. "I should probably start by saying I've seen some fairly awful twister games in my life, courtesy of raising a daughter, so you have quite a high bar to beat mate"

In the time John took to find Chas and bring him along with Jay, which she wasn't expecting, Kay had managed to clear away any possible things that would get in the way and set up the mat and spinner. She had her boots off as she meant business, she had even cheekily taken off her stockings and jacket whilst he was gone. So she was just in her jeans and cropped top.

"Oh I'll wipe the floor with him, you can count on it Chas! This was my jam during the holidays and parties!" She grinned as she caught the conversation. It had been long time since Chas would have seen her this confident.

Jay leant against the wall just inside the doorway, not saying anything but her molten silver eyes were sparked with interest. John pulled off his coat and tie, slinging them over a nearby chair, while Chas smirked "I came here as I was promised an opportunity to laugh at John, so he'd better deliver on this. Don't go doing a Dibney on us" John rolled his eyes and snorted "Don't worry on that count mate, there's no way in hell I'd want his abilities."

Kay picked up the spinner and handed it to Chas. "Will you do the honours?" She asked with a sweet smile. One that was very different to the smug one she was giving John only moments prior. She had noticed Jay just standing off to one side. She didn't expect her to fully join in, and in a way she was glad as she wanted this first game to be just against John. She had no doubts Jay would film bits soon enough, if nothing else to show Elliott when they got him back.

She saw John remove his coat and tie and smirked. "Ready to be completely destroyed?" She asked him, turning to him, before walking back to the mat after giving Chas the spinner. The one reason she was so good at the game was down to her dance abilities. She put them to use in the game and they helped her greatly.

As Kay suspected Jay did indeed have her camera with her, intending to film the whole thing. Partially to show Elliott and partially because old habits died hard, and the possibility of blackmail was too great to resist. She set herself up with the best filming angle as Chas took the spinner "Yup, I will, this is my designated role after all" "Good thing we're on a med ship, Hells and Heaven only knows what kind of damage I'll do to myself."John replied, half serious, half joking as he took his position.

With a look to check that everybody was ready, Chas spun the spinner and called the out the first result while Jay started filming.

Kay was totally ready to be a prat and show off her expert skills in the game. She laughed at John and his suspicions of how this is going to go. She was damn sure he'd be just fine but she won't make it easy for him.

Right foot yellow spot was the first call out, nice and easy. She walked round to the yellow spot part of the mat and put her foot down on it. She was half hoping for a hand on a colour to start to really out the challenge up straight away, but she figured it was probably best to ease John into this whole thing.
