Rachelle lied down on her couch inside her own little apartment which was located somewhat near the southern district. She yawns as she flips through various different channels on her television. It would be a few hours more till her Uncle gets back from work. So why not waste her time watching live news and drama series?

Sighing at the realization she wasn't going to get anywhere on her own, she turned to Zephyr.

"Look, at this point all I wanna do is get to a hospital. I don't know if you noticed but I'm a bit worse for ware, so either you let me go and I'll get there myself or you find someone to take me."

She wasn't feeling the blood loss as much as she figured she should, the pain in her stomach keeping her from becoming woozy or faint. Which was a bad thing, she noted. It meant the damage was worse than she though, if she was feeling it this much. Her pain tolerance was usually pretty high, she wasn't sure what was going on with her tonight, though she thought it might have something to do with how much energy she expended before even getting into the fight. The adrenaline from all the running and the excitement of a good fight at the end had kept her from noticing how active she'd been the entire time. Normally when she went out she only got into easy scuffles with under-powered suckers who thought they could take advantage of a vulnerable looking victim. Supers were a rare treat and even then they never put up much of struggle.

Tonight had been a push in the direction she'd wanted to go. A desperate struggle against a strong opponent in which she honestly hadn't been sure she would survive. It irked her a little it was against a power she knew, at least somewhat, how to deal with, but it was a struggle nonetheless. She needed to get stronger, a lot stronger if she was going to compete against the top tier.

But first she needed to not be dying slowly and miserably. Figuring it would help to be on the heroes's good side, she turned to the neko,
"I'm sorry about your sister and your motor home. The damage wasn't intentional, and if you'll let me I can help fix it up."

When the bus stopped, Marlowe waited a few moments before phasing out of another window, to make sure that no one would see her lurking.
She followed them into the hospital, hesitating at the door for a moment. She would've stayed behind the door for much longer if it weren't for the fact those doors were automatic doors, and they opened up as soon as she approached them.
Reluctantly stepping inside, she spotted the group that had taken the girl there talking to a doctor. She looked around the place, and then proceeded to mirror a nurse's appearance and stood by the counter where the group of misfits were at, in case the doctor needed help or something.

Name: Alex

He wondered why no one was crying yet, he had been sitting in this wall for a little bit trying to find a way out, he could simply faze out of the wall but then he wouldn't have enough to escape. He had been hired over the phone to fix light switches in the building which required a lot of sneaking around as to not scare anyone. However, he had been one off in his count of terms he went etherial and only had one left for a little while. So he had been sitting in this wall for around half an hour, but yet no one had suffered the effects of the horrible waking nightmares that accompanied his presence in an area. He knew that meant a hero was nearby and had been nearby for a while, he just had to do the math to find out where.

The skeleton pulled out the blueprint of the building he had been provided and a small flashlight to read it, according to the map the only way his power wouldn't have taken effect is if the apartment that the wall he was in was occupied by a hero. That or a superhuman had been waiting outside the person's door for a while, he decided it was time to move his spine was hurting because of how straight he had to stand in the wall. He always hated that basic feeling of discomfort hadn't left him when he had become a skeleton, but the situation was the situation and he had one choice if he didn't want to sit here for a while.

He turned etheral once more, using his ability to walk through the wall synth cloak and skeletal body all very visible as he put his hands up and said two words "DON'T SHOOT,". Honestly, if he had chosen the right direction and this was a superhuman they might not own a gun, but he felt don't shoot was a general term for don't kill me. He looked around to see that he hadn't actually walked into the room she was in but rather her drawing room or animating studio, whatever it was there were a computer and a tablet so he assumed drawing. He mentally face palmed for giving away his position without considering the idea she was in the room he was going into. He might have been able to at least sneak out of her apartment without her noticing. Regardless situation was the situation and she would come face to face with a man who looked to be the grim reaper if she looked.

Paul Brown
With all the sudden commotion, it was quite easy for Paul to slip back into the alley and douse his flames, picking up his nicely folded shirt and slipping it back on. Picking up his tie, Paul considered just stuffing it in his pocket, he almost did, but with a sigh he spent a minute or two getting it looking nice. Brushing off the grime that came from resting your white shirt on a dumpster and smoothing out the wrinkles, he peaked out the alley and looked around. Heroes and even police were swarming around, but they probably wouldn't stop him, and this way was the quickest path home. Leaning back in, Paul took a deep breath and casual as can be, walked out of the alley and down the street.

Now that he thought about it, after this Paul wasn't so sure about this superhero thing. He hadn't really done much in the fight, in the end that running girl (who WOW actually happened to have fire powers too) and the professional heroes had done most of the fighting. Paul scratched the back of his head and sighed, wondering if there was much point to this moonlighting as a hero. Eh, he'd think about it later, Paul just wanted to go home and sit on his couch, watch some TV. Scratching his chin, Paul wondered if he had much food left in his fridge. He might Have to stop by McRonalds on the way back.

Norm Hall

It was another day for the Norm, like any other day. Aside from what is happening, Norm had been preserving himself from action. He is currently walking home from school, he had extra things to take care. His adopted sisters went ahead of him, and they said that they'll be having some "Netflix and chill", or so he thought. After some time, he finally made it home.

facades.jpg

He went over to the front door and knock on it for a few times before coming inside. From the living room he saw the sisters LITERALLY having some Netflix and chill; they're on a couch watching some 'Stranger Things', popcorn and drinks on their side. Norm sighed and then he joins the two. "So, how's it been?" He asked.

Celeste

The sister took notice of Norm's appearance. Soleil was leaning against Lune's shoulder, sipping her drink while the other eats some popcorn. "Oh, we're good. How's your extra stuff?" Lune replies.

"Well, it was bit of an hell back there, had some stuff to do such as cleaning and organizing. The club leader was being strict with me." Norm replies.

"
Club leader bad for Norm nyuu~" Soleil muttered before offering Norm some popcorn and drink, to which he accepts and he watches the television along with the sisters.

Vítězslav had heard the distinct choked gasps of a young girl in the distance before Poltergeist did, as well as noticed the rubble shifting, odds are this was that esper that was mentioned, and judging based on the location this had to be close by, he never got a glimpse of the address, but based on the state of the area, this would be a great place to drop off the radar since it was almost completely destroyed and abandoned it would make a great place to hide something secret. With that he was about to ignore the woman and move on, when a group gathered.

Vítězslav having no intention to get caught up in something outside of his plan especially with heroes who either proved to have clones or something and some more telekinetic powers, decided to stay hidden until they all left, and they eventually did with no one seeing him. So as a starting point, Vítězslav walked nearby where the woman was trapped and began to analyze his environment with his keen hazel eyes looking for any sign of something useful to him in his objective of finding out something or finding something. It was funny, Vítězslav made a slight smile, it was almost like for the time being he was being a Sherlock Holmes of sorts, trying to solve a mystery with clues as to anything. He had the intellect as well to find the right things and put connections together.

D duegxybus for analysis of the situation and the surroundings and anything Vítězslav should notice for finding any clues as per the identity of a lab or something of that nature related.

Location: Sett Street
Around Sett Street, there was an awful lot of destruction. The structures were destroyed in a circular pattern from one side only, suggesting that the source of the damage was from one point; the building where the esper girl was found. The rest of the buildings were only damaged slightly or had chips or dinks in them, pointing to that several projectiles were also involved in this particular fight. Oh yeah, and anyone with half a brain could also deduce that a fight had taken place here, between likely two individuals judging by the damages.

There were scraps of paper lying around with the word "KISS" written on them, along with several lipstick marks indicating that the papers were kissed as well. These papers were covered in blood, most likely the blood that belonged to the esper girl due to the way it sort of levitated above the surface that it was on. Finally, there was a piece of technology. A smart wristwatch, one that probably belonged to someone who was a part of KISS. It was a smart watch with the words KISS showing brightly on the cracked screen. This did not have the lipstick marks on them, which may lead to the discovery that the lipstick marks were genuine on the rest of the KISS papers. (It also should come as no surprise at this point that KISS is an acronym.)

Ezra had decided to listen to half the words she was saying, but had tuned her out at the end, mostly because he knew it was all a lie. "You say that but cops had been known to try to get any information they want, especially since I look suspicious." That was true, mostly because he looked too muscular to be a normal civilians. "Last time I was questioned just because they felt I look too suspicious, even questioned me on the tattoos and if they represented the Yakuza or some type of gang/Mafia." He barely trusted police people, but it was just his opinion, he wasn't gonna try to get others to agree with him.

The doctor shrugged. "Don't ask me about paper and her mouth. It's probably weird anyways. Nurse!" He turned to the nurse, the one who was standing there with the mirrored appearance. The doctor wasn't able to figure out that it really wasn't the nurse. "Go check her vitals and make sure her brain patterns are normal. The machine wouldn't connect for some reason."

Inside, Sydney managed to sit up somewhat and open her eyes, though the world still seemed fish-eyed and everything anyone said sounded metallic and distorted, requiring her to use her ability to let things connect again. She blinked slowly as she lay back against the pillow. "It's soft."

Netflix has ended, but he and the sisters has some time to kill. Their parents are out on a mission and they'll be back before the brink of dawn. Until then, Norm decided to go out for a walk, but the sisters insisted to join with him. Regardless, he let's them join, but the walk is going to brief and it is within the area near the house. They went out and start roaming around the neighborhood before the night sky darkens into black.

This was quite the intriguing scene, he checked what street he was on, it was named Sett, Vítězslav then memorized the name to check back if he needed, and looked around again. It was a grand sight to behold. It would seem to Vítězslav that the experiment probably spoke of this location to use it as a threat to Poltergeist, considering it had what could have eventually been the grave site for that esper girl he supposedly boasted he 'killed'.

It brought a smile again on Vítězslav's face to see how arrogant that experiment was, this was definitely a grand display of what that experiment was capable of, but part of the reason for it was all so clear, but the experiment actually was truthful when it was pointing out a way to learn of his lab. Vítězslav picked up one of the many pieces of paper, with the obvious abbreviation on it 'KISS' noticing the blood on it, and seeing lipstick marks on it, obviously they were ones for irony too.

One last item that appeared of importance to pick up was a smart watch with KISS showing up, even with a cracked screen, which meant it would still work and hopefully have some info to learn from, if not he had his source to help with that.

After now taking his hazel eyed glance, back to the building where the esper girl was found, he could see now a pattern that from the building the surrounding area was destroyed in a circular fashion while the ones on the other side wasn't as destroyed, this also meant that the experiment created a shockwave from either inside the building or a bit outside of it, and collapsed the building on top of the esper girl, but odds are if she were inside, and it happened that close, she would have taken more damage than just simply from the debris falling on her, more akin to essentially having her organs turned into jello from internal rupturing... So based on that analysis there was probably more destruction and clues on the other side, the side of the building he was not in the street of.

So Vítězslav, went into the building where the esper girl was crushed under, to a look around him to see if anything else of importance was left there, then he would check to see if he could get the smart watch he found to work and see if it could reveal anything else, and lastly he would go to the other side of the building to see if there was anymore to be discovered on that side.

Eryn pocketed the note, figuring he'd try to make it more legible at home. He layed against the wall at waited, but not quite sure exactly what for. As the doctor walked off, he heard something about the girl's brain patterns not connecting to a machine. Huh, maybe she had some kind of phsycic pow---

--the experiment had said that his last trial resulted in the death of an esper. The girl was still alive in the destroyed town with such grievous injuries, so she couldn't have been there for long. Had the town been destroyed just before Eryn encountered the guy? This probably wasn't enough to make any solid conclusions, but there was a possibility that this girl was the esper that the guy had apparantly just killed. Speaking of the experiment...

...Eryn had figured out quite a bit about that guy during the encounter. Cannot attack and defend at the same time, is capable of tornados, shockwaves, G-force attacks, earthquake charges, pseudo-telekinesis and is a bad multi-tasker. Distraction works well but only if the element of surprise is there. He can also apparantly deflect energy since he defended against the pumpkin-head guy's attack. He wasn't sure if he could use telekinetics directly on him while the shield was up, since the only time he tried was during the tornado attack. Anyway, Eryn now had a much better understanding of the experiment's abilities, so hopefully the next encounter would fare far better. His problem was that, while he was good at strategising in general, he didn't have the focus to come up with plans during combat. The only way to put this to good use was to plan it out before the start of the battle.

The girl who was probably the esper probably had more information about him too. He had finished his homework and didn't care much for his sleep patterns, so he was prepared to wait here quite a while. And so he did, taking occasional glances at the window.

Marlowe nodded, satisfied that her disguise worked, but still aware that she would soon have to change her disguise or undisguise completely. She grabbed one of the tablets on top of the counter and turned it on, opening the notes app, and dwelved deeper into the hospital.
Arriving at an MRI scan room, she looked around. She assumed that a nurse wouldn't have any reason to enter the room, so Marlowe was on the lookout for a doctor or someone that seemed to have more pull around there.
Her eyes landed on an MD going through anotations on his tablet. Marlowe took in a deep breath and payed attention to every single detail about the man. Then, in a heartbeat and accompanied by a sharp noise, she assumed the MD's appearance, and then walked into the MRI scan room.
Approaching the computers, she noticed that the girl's brain had a few white marks leaking into the rest of her brain, which was colored gray. A woman, who was watching the scanning through the window, turned around and saw the disguised girl. She approached her, and began debriefing her.
"She has internal hemorrhage beginning in her frontal lobe and going down into her amigdala. She needs to be taken into surgery immediately or she might have a stroke."
Marlowe grimmaced. Damn, poor girl, on the verge of death. What even happened back at Sett Street anyway? What kind of person could cause that much destruction?
Her eyes widened when she pondered her question. No, it couldn't be him. He had gone underground for years now, why would he come back now?
She typed what the doctor told her in the tablet and exited the room, making her way back to the doctor. She stopped when she realized that it was a nurse that he ordered to check up on the girl. Glancing around, she saw the same nurse she had mirrored entering another room. Before he escaped her view, she managed to mimick his appearance. This constant appearance shifting was beginning to strain her. She fought through the pain and made her way back to the doctor, then gave him the tablet.

"HAHAHAHA! AND DEATH WILL NEVER GET THE SATISFACTION! DID YOU SEE THAT?" Nick's eyes were still the bright blue color from before and his grin had stretched from ear to ear. "THIS IS WHY I LOVE BEING A HERO! THE CHILL AND THRILL YOU GET AFTER TEACHING SOME TROUBLEMAKERS A LESSON!"

At this point, Nick was all in the moment. The thrill of being a hero was like a natural high that made him work on impulse rather then logic and he took the opportunity. He grabbed Elina by the hand and spun her around once before giving a quick peck on the cheek. "This was way better then the drug dealer adventure! I feel like running a marathon or, hell, anything!" The man's joy couldn't be contained and he seemed more lively than before. Maybe this was the effect of using such a move in the sewer below, or maybe the rush of death brought something new, or maybe having someone to share the moment with made it better than the rest of those one shot adventures.

"If you really need a hospital, then there's one just around the corner. Thankfully it wasn't destroyed, and is probably one of the best. I won't be able to cover your expenses, but say that Zephyr sent you and you'll get a thousand dollars off." He gave a quick smirk before turning back towards Neko. "You can't just go around accusing civilians of random things. You are a hero, after all, and this unwarranted anger wasn't a part of your agenda. Either you fix the motor home on your own without the civilian's help, or I'm going to get you sent to reform."

He then walked off into the distance, a column of air forming under his feet and propelling him to a nearby rooftop. As he walked back towards HQ, boosting himself from rooftop to rooftop with columns of air, he pulled out a business card and flicked it down towards the general direction of the two, giving it a light gust to get it going.

At this point, there was little to see. There was nothing more than a couple of destroyed buildings and KISS papers. Now, the smartwatch was a different story. It required a passkey to be entered for it to work, but the screen was far too broken for it to allow a keyboard to show up. The building insides were also just as destroyed as the outside, suggesting that the source of the shockwave, or the attack, was actually from the inside of the building. Now, someone who fired a shockwave of that magnitude would likely leave some sort of trace, and they did.

There was the smell of ozone around the source of the shockwave, pointing to evidence that the power of one of the individuals was influential enough that it changed the very air itself, at least for a split second. Unfortunately, the investigation wasn't going to be going completely on one's own, as someone else would likely show up to ruin the party. And that is exactly what had happened.

"Yo."

. . .
A male with shaggy blond hair stood at the (destroyed) entrance of the building with a child by his side. The kid was no older than 11 years old, and had a very inquisitive look on her face. "Kenny!! I wanna find out what the heck HAPPENED here! You didn't do this, did you?"
"Elaine, zip it. Did you do this, mister?" Kenneth gestured to the white-haired male. The last white-haired male that Kenneth encountered would be definitely capable of this; it would only be a shame if every white-haired male could do this.

"Please get back to me as soon as you can, signed Killian Mikhail" Killian read aloud as he finished his English Lit paper with a note for his teacher. He leaned back in his computer chair with a deep and satisfying sound "well now that's done, maybe I can go to the library.." he looked at his computer for the time "ah carp" he mumbled, practically flipping of the chair to shove his shoes on. he grabbed his jacket ,headphones and skateboard before jumping out the fire escape from his apartment window. he vaulted off the rail and landed on the ground, seeing as he was only on the second floor, it was a huge fall and he was able to sprint off and jump on his skateboard and bolt down the street. "gotta make it before they close" he said to himself as he dodged and weaved through the crowded sidewalk........ by the time he got to the library it was already closed "just great..i have a history paper due." he sighed shaking his head "well guess i'll get it done some time tomorrow". he looked down at his phone to check the time "almost ten, guess I should get goin" he shrugged and made his way down the street slowly, deciding to actually walk instead of riding his skateboard. Killian had been so busy dealing with school and his 'job' that he hasn't had the time to just walk around the streets of Empire City. he walked among the crowded streets holding his skateboard in his hand and his headphones over his head blasting Metallica through them.

Vítězslav was not surprised when he saw that the watch had to be accessed with a passcode, and the fact that it was smashed didn't allow it to be typed in anyway, yeah this would have to be done by Namgung, when he was done here, which he pretty much was, considering there was not much else to take in aside from the observation he made through smelling the air and smelling ozone, now that was yet another intriguing discovery about this experiment, the fact that it was powerful enough to disrupt the air itself for a least a second meant it was quite powerful, which meant that the experiment in case anything happened would take a lot of planning, but that's part of the reason he was investigating this.

He was actually about get going, when a voice called to his attention. He turned around causing his white trench coat and white hair to flow to the side for a moment almost like a cape, and then his hazel eyes locked onto the man and the young girl. Vítězslav simply smiled the way he almost always did.

"Let me ask you something, do you believe the man who committed the act would really hang around the scene of the act he committed? But alas, the case is I did not cause all of this destruction, I am but only a man intrigued by the events surrounding it, did you know there was actually a young girl dying right in the building I am standing in? Until some good samaritans, dropped by and saved her life... It would appear someone is playing around with experimentation. So what brings you down here?" Speaking with a calm, methodical, soft Czech accent. Based on how it looked, it looked like Vítězslav's own appearance reminded him of something similar, or of the experiment himself. So he prepared himself for a possible encounter, yet gave no indication of such.

Kenneth thought about it for a second. This man wasn't the one. His frame was different from someone who used powers. Kenneth couldn't quite place a finger on it, though he figured that the person who had done this was actually super weak and couldn't do anything with hand to hand. This man looked nothing of the sort. "I suppose you wouldn't stick around if you've done something of this magnitude. And no, I was completely unaware that a girl was almost killed in this situation. That is rather unfortunate."

Elaine was currently curious. From hiding behind Kenneth, she jumped out and began searching around for random things. She picked up a rock and it crumbled in her hand. "I kinda wanna know what the man smells like. Kenny, can I go-"
"No. Anyways, if you are the person who had caused this, you may be in serious trouble since I have found you before the authorities have. And I don't play nice with those who destroy property." He began to walk forwards, aversion field in play in the event he was lashed at. "I don't suppose you have a clue who did this, do you? I'm looking for them."

Vicky snatched the slip of paper Zephyr left to float down to them, chuckling softly under her breath at the cheesy line. She folded it in half and stuffed into her pocket, glancing at the other girl that had jumped into the conversation. The neko's sister it seemed.

"I can get there on my own if it's really just around the corner."

She wasn't that beat up. Well, maybe she was, but the kids didn't need to know that. Besides, it was nice of Zephyr to offer her some help, even if the money wasn't necessary. She wasn't about to impose herself further by letting the girl take her to the hospital when she could get there perfectly well herself. Forcing her legs to start moving again, and man did those feel more like lead weights than part of her body, Vicky made the short trek to the hospital, pleased it really was as close as Zephyr implied.

It was a pretty nice hospital, nicer than she was used to at least, considering the only one she ever bothered with was that one on the south side. The glass doors slid open when they sensed her approach, revealing a cozy reception area. There were some folks littered around the space, most likely here for basic checkups or a diagnosis. Most of them ignored her when she came in, though a few did turn their heads curiously. They lost interest soon enough though and Vicky was glad she at least looked better than she felt.

Striding up to the front desk, she remained calm, like she was just here for a check up herself as she asked,
"Excuse me? I got beat up pretty bad at a skirmish down the street and Zephyr said I should come here for medical attention."

The look the receptionist shot her was nothing short of incredulous. Clearly, this was not working out. Just then Vicky coughed at a sudden pain her stomach and little specks of blood flew onto the desk. The receptionist was mildly more concerned now, thankfully.

"Do you know how bad it is?"

"There's definitely internal bleeding, though I'm not sure how much exactly."

Frowning deeply, the receptionist picked up the phone on the desk, eyes on Vicky the whole time as she dialed a doctor. Someone came to get her shortly afterwards, and she was on her way to getting patched up. Yay.

Giving the man a second to think, he could see that he was able to let him know the truth without incident. Vítězslav honestly was in no mood to get engaged in a fight, but if he really had to, he definitely would. He simply nodded to acknowledge what the man said first.

Then the girl caught Vítězslav's eye for a second as she was intently curious of the situation, showing a bit of strength as well by crushing a rock in her hand, Vítězslav was happy, while they were engaged in the conversation Vítězslav had very subtly put the important objects he found away in his pockets, he wasn't planning on giving up info like this to heroes or anything of the sort right now and wanted to keep intervention currently out of the way, and was keen on having more knowledge on this 'KISS' laboratories than others. But of course, Vítězslav kept those notions hidden, looking as he had when first engaged.

Then with the man giving him another hero/vigilante like threat Vítězslav plainly stated "I would expect no less." Vítězslav very easily kept his composure as he was approached, and asked if he knew who did it. Vítězslav interest had been piqued by the experiment and this situation and would rather have things take its course with little to no intervention, so like he had done about a million times already showing no 'tells' or anything physical that could point to him lying he lied about his knowledge. "I am sorry, but I have no idea who did it, I wish I did." Seamlessly, and easily making it seem like he was telling the truth as he did so.
