@JokerValentine that's not how ranks work They would perform a ritual to see if Nasic would accept them and it tells their rank. They then would, if need be, placed under a mentor until they can work for themselves.

That wouldn't make sense if he was ritualized, since he is no Tikaani. He is an outsider, and thus I would believe that it would be up to the interpretation of the laws to determine if he would be given a ritual. I mean, if the ritual is done by Tikaani, why do it to an outsider?


I would like to believe his rank was assigned as a duty, rather than as a birthright. No doubt, Kalo would not be permitted to several ranks, and maybe if he had a ceremony and it came back with a very significant rune... it could make people feel rather uncomfortable to accept an outsider as a higher echelon of the pack.

Then perhaps he is Tikaani, but he is STILL not from the tribe. He is an outsider not of lineage to the pack, and if the rituals were exclusive to the tribe, I would not believe that Kalo would be given the same treatment as those of direct relation within the pack.


I really would appreciate it if you would not direct me in that way.

Oh yeah, and the ritual thing. That may have played a part in it, but maybe because of the superstition they lied to him and had him take the role of Omega?


I'm just trying to think of a cool little reason why little Imari would be the Omega, really.


And also, I have a feeling he would have practiced because he didn't eat and he was hungry and needed to find something
