Love that :bishiesparklesl: Okay - so i guess my next question is regarding the characters. Should they be similar to the characters in the show, or can they be OC?

For example, i'd like to apply to play the son of Robin Hood - In the show his name is Sparrow Hood. Does that have to be his name here?
perfect question!!
all characters being made are original characters!
no OC should be similar to the characters in the show or even just a straight up copy.

so nope! you can use your own name, personality, backstory, etc. for your character!

Reading through some of the stuff you mentioned, I just realized that you said rebels have to be children of villains (which is fine, I can go and change). But I wanted to ask and be certain... are there situations where having a child of a hero be a rebel would be accepted? Like in the TV show (and kind of in the description you laid out), the defining trait of rebel students is the fact that they want to be free to choose their destinies, not necessarily that their parent is a villain. Because, for instance, technically Odette is the heroine of Swan Lake, but she dies/turns into a swan forever at the end and she does not really get a happy ending. So in my head, it made sense for her daughter to be a rebel (based on my understanding of them).

As I said, I can definitely change if you are adamant about the rebels only being the children of villains, but I did just want to make sure that I am understanding things properly ^_^

i’m glad you asked this!

so, yes. i did want to switch things up from the show to be a bit different but exceptions can be made for characters like yours!

i do understand where you’re coming from and now that i really think about it, i totally brushed over that. i am now willing to be more lenient with certain characters because not every character from the show that is a Rebel comes from a villainous parent.

as for your character, i like the way everything is laid out and am more than happy to accept Cosette as a Rebel even if her parent isn’t a villain.

also i do see where there is kind of a hole in what i said. Royals can become Rebels due to the nature of their story. for example, Briar Beauty (daughter of Sleeping Beauty) is a Royal but she challenges her destiny because she doesn’t wanna have to sleep for 100 years. which in the eyes of others, makes her a Rebel for not wanting to follow her destiny. which it is totally acceptable and understandable as to why she doesn’t wanna follow her destiny because who the heck wants to sleep for 100 years?!?

so, in this case, i think children of heroes who will end up having a not very happy ending, can challenge their destiny which would make them a Rebel even if their parent isn’t a villain.

though, for anyone else who has a character like this, just run it by me so i can double check because i don’t want to have a thousand Rebels running around, if that makes sense!

once again, thank you for asking this question!!

ain’t no way how did I not know about thissss

my idea for my son of the Queen of Hearts is that he’s a Rebel not necessarily because of who his mother is, but because he doesn’t want to end up like her or follow in her footsteps.

kevin kevin okok eensy weensy question

would it be allowed to tweak the pairings in the fairytales so that the child is the child of two characters that weren’t explicitly together in the story? say the way cerise is the daughter of little red and the big bad wolf in eah

hmmm, which pairing did you have in mind?

Hey, quick question! How exactly should I make the bio in the yearbook? Sorry, I see how everyone else is doing it but I have no idea how they are lol, and the instructions say bios should be relatively lengthy (based off the number of categories), so I’m just a little confused. Sorry again for the trouble.

so, what everyone is currently posting in the character sheet thread are placeholders which are just little codes that users can edit and post to claim a character name, idea, face claim, etc. it’s not their actual character sheet.

for the actual character sheet there are codes that you can use or if you aren’t familiar with coding, you can follow a simple outline like this:

name: your oc name
age: your oc age
date of birth: your oc d.o.b.
place of birth: your oc p.o.b.
and so on, so forth.

you can do it like that which is totally fine with me as long as you follow the written categories i have posted.
hopefully i answered this correctly, but if i did not, please let me know so i can fix my mistake!

Quick question: do face claims need to be "period" accurate? For example, if I wanted to use a face claim with tattoos?

since Puss in Boots is a feline, you could play off of that and name him Felix!
