Fantasy Grand Ultima

"Yeah, but I'm not a yellow, I'm an assassin" he cleared distance with ease and was back to dashing across the beams above, completely vanishing every now and then, holding an orb of his own in his hand, not magic however, mechanical. His soft chortle could be heard resonating through the inn. "Yes, I'm an assassin of course, one who hasn't even been an assassin around you, just a yellow right?"

"Now we're talking." She said with a smile as she summoned more orbs around her. This was a fight, no longer just some spar before or the hunt to stop some crazed maniac possessed by darkness. She had to go all out if she wanted to win this one, so she took out her weapon, a couple of pieces of rolled paper and her trsuty rubber band. She aimed at the vanishing assassin, not to hit but for the sake of the action. "Let's see how an assassin fares against a caster."

"Sure, why not" the orb was thrown from his hand' landing with a small THUD beside her, the orb began to emit a cloud of green gas, then detonated, spreading the gas for meters in all directions. "I wonder how much you know about science."

"Just enough to know that basic particle manipulation can be a weakened substitute for air magic." She replied as the air drifted upward towards the area the assassin still hopped around. Again several dead spots were present, he still wouldn't know where she really was."Gotta love arcane magic."

"And how about the fact that the gas you just tried to lift up is significantly heavier than air?" The gas sunk as he spoke, swathing the lower half of the room completely as he chucked several more.

"Well I'll level with you, I didn't see that comming." She replied as more gas spread around. She simply had to make a pocket for herself then. Than and wait, several of her orbs around her.

"Uh hum, and since yellows are so useless, you must realise how adept we are at barrier smashing right? Defensive magic of any kind is pretty much useless. A dirty yellow like me totally couldn't win this now could I?" He grinned and popped her bubble in an instant.

"Glad you know." She said with a smile as her defensive magic failed. Scratch that, there was no defencive magic in the first place. "Still I wonder when everyone else would figure out what's happening here" she mused out loud as the air returned at a regular pace, he open doors allowing the denser air to filter out of the room. The several orbs around her flew towards the assassin, along with a small paper projectile. "Check"

Each projectile was encased in a yellow sphere and fell to the ground, he dived off the beam with a sword to her throat, this was her. "Mate"

"I win." 'She' detonated as soon as he came close enough, her currently most powerful element, darkness flooding the room with foreign power. "I think I over did it, what do you guys think?" She asked herself. "Maybe, she replied with a shrug, still it was funny." She added in. "Yeah, it kind of was"

"Aaaaah, For fuck sake this is getting on my nerves!" He turned around and sat on the counter, muttering something about missing a 'real' fight "I should be slicing my way through a military complex right now, instead I'm stuck in an inn with you people..." He stuck his mask back on and replaced the pillar, then went somewhere to throw up.

"Here this should help." She said as she offered him a glass, comming from the pantry. "And really, you want a real fight after using those gadgets of yours? You have your methods, I have mine. You never really needed to stay either, you could have left a long time ago." She reminded him while patting his back with a gloved hand.

"When I say real fight, I just mean no magic. It's so damn rare to find someone with real physical skill. The world dominated by lanky nerds and high-class snobs who can let the elements do there dirty work for them" he takes the glass and laughs "and the gadgets I really shouldn't have used anyway. Gotta admit your smart and cunning, ever thought of joining a travelling circus?" He offered a cocky and cruel smile whilst he drank. Putting the glass down "just to clarify, the person here is in fact you and not another decoy?"

Gloves, you'll never know now." She replied with a smile as she moved her hands before him. "Power is power after all, and as a child I was never the brute strength type. To use the elements, magic, in particular is an equaliser for people like me. As for the traveling circus, never really gave it much thought. I'm still pretty good as a student after all, and now an explorer if all goes well."

"Hmm, it's not really the point... Well, anyway, I'll keep my reservations about you." He stood up and walked off, not before slapping her rear to find out wether or not this one was just a clone.

"Likewise." She smiled as she swayed her hips enough to dodge the blow. "Good morning, Little Kitty." She sadi with a wave as she walked towards the opposite direction.

"Aaaaand I'll take that to mean this one isn't a clone?" He does a quick 180° then pauses.

"Again gloves," she twists, backpeddaling as she waved her hands in front of him. "You might never know." She looked forward once again before climbing up the stairs.

"Shame, I still need to kiss ya" he walked in her direction; back to the main hall as he went back to practicing Kendo

"Maybe later." She called out before making her way into her room.

Locking the door' she yawned before going into another micronap. It was like the darkness liked being unleashed, like it would rejuvinate her whenever she was in its presence or used its power. She would keep that to herself, at least it gave her energy.

But at what cost she thought before sleeping once more.

Elijah stayed up infinitely, working out and practicing his strikes and movement, getting bored he formed a lock pick out of his crystals and decided he'd need to keep his touch with this as well. He picked the lock on a random room and decided to look around.

He found something that brought someone to mind in the room he raided. <p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_08/ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408983897.453761.jpg.176cfc61a4bee34c46c4c96387d6198f.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="28226" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_08/ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408983897.453761.jpg.176cfc61a4bee34c46c4c96387d6198f.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Caddy yawned and slid out of bed. "Well, looks like the night's events have ended any dream of sleeping." She stood and opened the door to get room, glancing down the hallway. She began to wander around aimlessly in an attempt to entertain herself.

Elijah was standing awkwardly in the hallway, a jar of pickles in his hands and without his mask.

Caddy approached Eli, grinning at the jar of pickles in his hand. "So, I've past off the obsession to another?" She said as she drew near to Elijah.
