Nitch

Nitch purposely fumbled the book, watching it fall to the ground between them. Without hesitation, he fell to one knee and picked it up, looking up at Nico. He murmured a quiet incantation, and the book, titled 'Greek Rites', shimmered and shifted. In just a few moments, Nitch was on one knee in front of his boyfriend, holding a black ring with skeletal fingers on it, clutching a black gem. "Nico Castellano. I love you. You've brought out the best in me, and I don't want to lose you. I'm not used to being emotional or caring about someone, but I don't want to ever lose this feeling. Will you marry me?" He whispered, eyes wide and heart pounding with the fear of rejection.

Nico was about to reach for the book until Nitch did it instead. The previous nervous expression he had on his face shifted from confusion and eventually stopped on surprise. The man he loved was standing in front of him with a ring, and unless Nico was completely crazy he had just...

Just asked Nico to marry him.

Nico opened his mouth, then closed it again. He started at Nitch's hand until he managed to break from his stupor. Tears had started to fall from his eyes. It was the first time that Nico cried of happiness.

"Nishan Calloway...there is no one else in the world that I want. No one that I love as much as I love you. Having you as my husband is the best thing that could happen to me. The answer is yes,one hundred times yes." He dropped to the ground and hugged Nitch tightly. "I'm never leaving again,Nitch. I love you."

Nitch

Nitch grinned broadly, holding Nico close. "Engaged at eighteen. Thank the gods that my parents can't see me." He teased. "Or, at least, my father can't and my mother doesn't care." He heard footsteps behind him and turned, frowning. His siblings had promised him privacy. Ryder was in the doorway, smiling slightly.

"Congratulations." He was holding a flower in his hand, which made Nitch more than a little surprised. "It's a... Dactylanthus. Flower of Hades." He explained with a shrug. He pointed at the grass, and a bouquet of the flowers grew, which he grabbed. "They aren't the most attractive flowers around, but I can't exactly summon roses." He offered the flowers to the boys, which Nitch took hesitantly. "I'm glad it's turning out well for you guys. You deserve it." He mumbled, walking away with his hands dug in his pockets.

Nitch stared after him, frowning. "Poor guy." He said simply.

"If I were a girl, people would think that I'm pregnant." He chuckled, hugging Nitch tightly. He turned with some shyness once Ryder entered the room. His smile shined with the gift, and he turned around to smell the flowers. "Thank you,Ryder..."

His expression darkened a bit once he saw Ryder leaving. Ryder was a good person, and the only reason many of them were alive was because of his leading. He...deserved better.

"He is going to be okay." Nico buried his face in Nitch's neck. "He has Izzy."

Nitch

"As long as you're sure you're not pregnant, because I would have some questions." Nitch teased, feigning a stern tone. "There would be a lot that I need to understand, and as a son of Athena, I don't appreciate that feeling." He looked up at the doorway that Ryder had vacated.

"Does he? They haven't spoken since before the battle. I don't know what happened between them, but I'm not sure he has her at all." Nitch sighed, holding Nico close. "He's a good guy.

Michael "Ryder" Miller

Ryder was far from pleased when Chiron told them about the feast. Apparently, he wanted to 'honor' them by throwing a banquet. He was even less pleased when Chiron told him that it'd be that night. He wanted to rest, and he knew that the other campers felt the same. He felt as if he hadn't slept in years, as if he hadn't relaxed since he had been born, which was partially true. But he didn't argue with it, he didn't have the strength to. He just went to his cabin and did as Chiron ordered, dressing nicely. He wasn't a fan of tuxedos, but he did wear black dress pants, a white button down, and a black sports coat. He left his hair messy, walking out to meet Chiron at the dining area, sitting alone at the Hades table. Normally, Blair would join him, occasionally Nico. But tonight, he had a feeling he'd be sitting in solitude. Not that he really cared.

Blair

Blair looked in the mirror, feel ridiculous. The feast was supposed to be formal. She didn't do formal. Instead, she'd had to borrow a dress from the Aphrodite campers, which was cringe-worthy in itself. But the dress... It was awful. Black, far too short for her liking, the neckline far too low, and basically no back. She tried to pull it down to cover more of her legs, but that brought the neckline far too low for comfort.

"Why would anyone pay for this? There's nothing there." She grumbled to herself. Apparently, it was the most 'conservative' black dress that the campers had, and she was wearing black if she was being forced to wear a dress. She'd have to walk in front of the entire camp wearing this. Ridiculous. Her only consolation was the idea of seeing Alec in a tux. He hated all formal clothing, so he'd be more uncomfortable than her. And, more importantly, Evan would be all dressed up. Just the idea of that made her smile a bit. "It could be worse. It could be pink." She said, trying to cheer herself up. "Come on, you wimp..." That was her second problem. She had no idea if she was meeting Evan at the feast or if she should wait for him at her cabin. Dates of any kind were not something she normally partook in.

After a while, she just steeled herself up. She plucked one of the black roses growing outside and tucked it in her hair after quickly de-thorning it, and walked over to the Morpheus cabin, where Evan should be. Even walking felt awkward in the dress, as she tried to both walk effectively and not hike it up any further. While passing a couple Ares campers, she heard a wolf-whistle, and immediately flicked them off.

"Fuck off." She snarled, annoyed. She almost tripped in the black heels that the Aphrodite girls insisted she wore. She was wearing makeup, but not much. It was the only thing they had listened to her about. After a few more moments of uncomfortable walking, she made it to the Morpheus cabin and knocked on the door.

Alessandro

"Is this right?" Alec asked his only sibling, Kayla, staring at the tie. "It doesn't look right." She laughed as she looked at it.

"It's... It's not right." She snorted, walking up to him and fidgeting with it for a few moments before stepping back. "I think that's right." She noted, appraising him.

"It's more right than mine. That's probably worrying." He shrugged, looking at her. "How do I look?"

"Uncomfortable and embarrassed." She replied immediately.

"Huh, my reflection finally shows who I am... Inside." He said teasingly. Kayla smirked before walking outside and picking a few flowers, punching them into a bouquet.

"For the girlfriend figure." She reminded him as she handed them to him. He clicked his tongue, pointing at her.

"Right. I have one of those now. Perfect. You are amazing. Thanks, Kay." He chuckled, hugging her briefly before jogging toward the Zeus cabin.

@Rukia @KaalysBR

Evan felt absolutely ridiculous.

He didn't do "formal" well, and he didn't like suits at all. Neckties felt like they could choke him at anytime if he pulled it from the wrong side, specially considering the crazy tendencies he had from to try to harm himself. Even when he had to rob some rich asshole he didn't use suits, trusting his sweet talking abilities instead.

But he couldn't exactly appear at a feast dressed in his normal clothes,so he would have to suck it up. He took another moment to fix his hair and roll his eyes at the reflection in the mirror. The suit was nice,he imagined. It made him look like a waiter, but it was nice.

"I prefer you with a skull."

He really hoped the knock in the door was his girlfriend and not some crazy camper. These children weirded him out with all their...worshiping of the immortal assholes. He pulled the door open with a frown, although it quickly disappeared once he saw Blair.

"Fuck." Evan lowered his eyes through Blair's body, watching every exposed part of her skin. His eyes stick to her legs before quickly returning to her face. "You look...incredible. I...can't even find a word. And I might need to step back in my cabin to hide what's happening inside my pants."

He pulled her inside, wrapping his arms around her.

"I'm not leaving anymore, you look too hot. I'm tearing the eyes off anyone that looks at you for too long."

Blair

Blair flushed when he stared at her. She was definitely not used to that. But at his words, she cracked a smile. "Territorial. That's hot." She teased, kissing him. "Speaking of hot... You in a tux. Wow." She murmured, more than happy, for the moment, to abandon the banquet. It was respecting them for killing their former friends. It was disgusting.

"I'd much rather deal with what's happening in your pants than what's happening in the dining area, anyways. Let's just skip. I'd have much more fun taking this dress off, I don't want to parade around in it all night." She couldn't tear her eyes from him. Him in a tux was probably the hottest thing she'd ever seen.

She kissed him once again, pulling him down to her by his suit jacket.

Evan didn't share Blair's guilty about the killings. He had done way worse before, with people that didn't even have the chance to defend themselves like those campers had. But still. He didn't get all that...partying. What they did wasn't a good thing, and even he could see that.

"You look great in anything,Blair. But you look even better when you're wearing nothing." He pulled her to his arms, gently rotating her around so they dropped on the bed. "Are you sure you wanna skip? I can do the...feasting thing if it's for you. Honestly,I can do anything for you. Just name it."

He leaned forward to kiss Blair's neck, too attracted to resist her body. Blair was way out of his league, and he was aware of that. That didn't mean that he wasn't going to bend his life around so she would be happy.

Demetrius looked at himself in the mirror as he tied his tie around his neck. He was wearing black slack pants, a white shirt underneath the black button up shirt, which was unbuttoned."Looking good if I say so myself." He admired himself on the mirror before taking his shades and stuffing them in his shirt pocket.

Blair

"Back at you." She was already fumbling with his tie, yanking it off and pushing his jacket off of his shoulders. "The last thing I want to do is listen to a few dozen idiots who barely know me tell me how sorry they are for my loss while they imagine killing me. Yea, I wanna skip." She assured him, moving to be straddling his lap and kissing him deeply, her fingers entwined in his hair.

"I need you. Not any of them." She promised.

Arya Chiari

Arya shifted the dress, making sure that it was covering the essentials. "Not bad. Looking hot." She admitted. The banquet thing seemed useless. After all, she didn't belong there, and everyone knew it. Everyone that saw her gave her a dirty look, as if blaming her for the fact that she had never been there before.

She left the cabin, the one she refused to consider hers. Immediately, a couple Ares campers nearby flocked to her, cruel grins on their ugly faces. She clenched her fists, preparing herself mentally.

"Why are you even here? Why don't you just go and drown yourself? Oh, wait..." The lead guy trailed off, his cronies laughing. Arya stared at him, confused.

"Okay, I get the logic to that. I can't drown. How is that funny? At all?" She asked curiously. They paused, looking just as confused as her. "Besides, shouldn't you be off... I don't know, torturing small animals? Stealing candy from a baby? Drowning yourselves? Oh, wait... I can do that for you." She took a step forward, thrusting her hand forward. Water from the lake at her back flowed forward, surrounding them. "Back. Off." She snarled, glaring at them. They didn't hesitate, scurrying away immediately. "Good dogs." She scoffed, willing the water to return to the lake and continuing on her way to the banquet. She didn't bother looking for Demetrius. Based on the way he had left, he wanted nothing to do with her. Fine by her. Just made leaving easier.

Evan pulled Blair's waist so she could be closer to him, biting her lower lip softly as he kissed her. His hands had already dropped to her thighs, and all he wanted was for her too pull that stupid suit away from him.

"That's great with me because I hate all of them. Unless...well. The people that went on the mission. Those guys are okay. And I met you,the most amazing woman in the planet. Brave,beautiful..." He lowered his head to her neck, going down a bit with every word.

"Lets have some fun, screw this fiesta."

-FADE TO BLACK-

Spending enough time with the Aphrodite campers made Cass surprisingly good with make up and dresses. She didn't really mind wearing them in a situation like this. But the entire idea of this feast...that's what disgusted her. Had they forgot about the campers who died? About people like Carlos? Cass herself would never forget the look in Nico's face when he was forced to fight against someone he loved.

She tried to focus, not wanting to appear sad in front of Alec. He had too many reasons to be grieving tonight, she didn't want to add to that. The dress looked pretty good,a gift from her mother. Black wasn't a color she often used, but tonight it was fitting.

She sighed through her nose, considering once again if she should ask Alec to stay inside with her instead. But she pushed that possibility away and grew the courage to walk out of her cabin. Alec was there already, looking absolutely gorgeous in a suit. That made Cass smile, something she missed doing since the mission.

"I think you missed the catwalk, baby. You look stunning." She winked to him and walked forward, fixing his tie that was slightly disarranged. His proximity made her bite her lip. The wish to do another elevator attack was growing stronger.

Demetrius arrived a few minutes, expecting the feast to be full of people. As soon as he sat down a bunch of girls from the aphrodite cabin flocked to him, asking him if he was single." Sorry ladies, I'm already taken." He shrugged towards the girls and made his way to Arya."I really like that dress."He commented.

When Alec heard the door open, he looked up. Immediately, his jaw dropped slightly, and the flowers fell from his hand. He opened his mouth, trying to speak. "Uh... I... Um..."

Words, Alec! Words! Come on!

"You look... Wow." He cleared his throat, bending over and scooping up the flowers, offering them to her. "And here I thought I had a decent grip on the English language. There aren't words." He chuckled, kissing her lightly. "Not sure I want to share the sight of you with anyone else, honestly. I'm clingy that way." He reached down and picked up her hand, eyes fixed on the ring. He still couldn't believe it. They were... They were engaged. She wanted him. How could he ever make sense of that?

"You look beautiful." He managed to finally say. The words felt weak in comparison to what he was looking at in front of him. "Dress or not. Like I told you at that bonfire that started this. It's you that's beautiful." He promised quietly, leaning in and kissing her lightly.

Arya Chiari

Arya looked up as Demetrius approached, seeing the disappointed Aphrodite girls behind him. "What there is of it? I thought you would." She laughed before looking back at the Aphrodite girls.

"Can't believe you denied them. They're hot." She shrugged, no jealousy in her tone. She wasn't really the jealous type. "And easy. Just mildly pay attention to them tonight, you'd guaranteed get laid." She looked past him, seeing that they were both still getting some admiring stares. Huh. Maybe there were perks to being in a camp. None of the guys really looked at all special, all overshadowed by the one in front of her.

Cass picked the flowers, giving them a mournful look as she gently played with the bouquet. They were absolutely gorgeous, but also a painful reminded of what they were doing tonight. The memory in her head came uninvited, reminding her of a long gone past.

Cass! I have a boyfriend!

You what,Nico? Who is he?

You know him! It's Carlos! He is such a great guy,I can't believe he would notice me!

She had never seen him that happy. And the only time he looked like that again was when he met Nitch. Still...those campers they had killed. They could be the Carlos of someone. Did they leave some mournful kid crying because they lost a loved one? She bit her lip lightly, blinking against the unexpected tears. Leaning forward,Cass hugged Alec tightly.

"Dress or not. Then take this dress off me."

Demetrius shrugged."They are, but I plan to stay with one girl, you." He kissed her lightly before gesturing to the table."Now, shall we?"

Alec frowned when he noticed her crying, and looked with concern down at her. "What... What did I say?" He asked, confused. He hadn't exactly been doing great, but he hadn't been doing bad enough to bring her to tears, had he? "I'm not a priapic monster, Cass. Come on." He sighed, pulling her inside and sitting her on the bed, brow furrowed with worry.

"I'm not taking the dress or anything else off of you until you tell me what's wrong." He insisted before looking down at her feet. "Except those. They look uncomfortable." He amended, bending over and taking off her heels before looking back up at her. "Come on, talk to me. What's wrong?" He murmured, pulling her into his lap and wrapping his arms around her.

Arya smirked at him, nodding slightly. "Let's get this over with." She sighed unwillingly, walking beside him obediently and looking around. Still, almost everyone was glaring at her. She felt like every whisper was directed at her, the outsider. And she couldn't figure out why she cared. So what? They were just bratty kids with daddy issues. Why should that bother her?

She noticed a naiad with a platter of wine glasses passing, and grabbed one immediately. The naiad paused. "I'm 21. Back off." She advised warningly, glaring at her. The naiad nodded and rushed off while Arya sipped at the wine.

"Do you ever think about the people we killed?" Cass whispered against his chest, closing her eyes. "Did they have families? Did they love someone? What if they...what if they felt for someone what we feel for each other? I know we didn't have a choice and they would have killed all of us if they had the chance. But I just...this is harder than I thought. Why are we celebrating this?"

She leaned against him, playing with his tie.

"But you do look really handsome tonight."

Demetrius noticed the campers glaring at Arya and shot each of them a glare back. As they sat down a Apollo kid tried to take a seat by Arya. He conjured a little bit of fire on his hand."Back off kid, or I'll roast you." The camper saw the flame and took the warning, walking away briskly. "You can never go somewhere without being admired, huh?" He spoke teasingly before picking up a glass of wine and sipping it.

Alec looked at her, shrugging off his suit jacket to avoid his itchy neck.

"I did think about it, at first. It was all I could think about. They could've been dating, they could've had kids, some of them. They could've had a family." He paused, staring at the ground. He knew he was about to sound like... A monster.

"But... Do you think they cared if we had a family? Do you think they hesitated, for a second, to kill any of us because they thought we might be leaving anyone behind? Of course they didn't." He sighed, squeezing her slightly. "I'm not saying it's right. But... I'm saying it's the only way to keep my sanity, no pun intended."

He looked at her. "And you look unbelievable. And entirely out of my league." He said, shaking his head slightly. "I'm a very lucky guy." He kissed her for a moment before pressing his forehead against hers. "You told me we'd get through this. I'm holding you to that. Because I'm firmly attached to you, I can't even think about losing you." Ha stroked the ring on her finger. "You're my... Fiance. And seeing you cry is the most painful thing that I can possibly imagine. So I'll do anything I can to avoid it."

He took a deep breath, frowning. He didn't want to continue, didn't want to voice the thought that had been itching at the back of his mind for hours. He didn't want to scare her off.
