Fandom Goners, Percy Jackson Roleplay.

He faced Evan."Nice to meet you too." Finally it wasn't quiet anymore. He then turned to Isabelle."I came to join the quest, to help, Zeke here", he points to the satyr sleeping a few spaces away,"tracked you guys for me."

Arya Chiari

Arya walked into the motel, jogging up the stairs briskly in search of Ryder. She had no idea what she'd say to him, she barely knew the guy. But the quest members seemed to respect him, and that had to count for something. She paused in front of his door, knocking loudly and demandingly.

"Open up or I'll knock it down." She warned, getting a strange look from mortals across the hall, trying to get into their own motel. She cleared her throat. "He's my husband. Cheating on me with his personal assistant." She said, and they nodded, murmuring their sympathy.

Ryder jumped when he heard a knock at his door. He cleared his throat, walking up and opening it, expecting to see Isabelle. He froze when he saw Arya. "Why are you here? And where's Izzy?" He asked. Some mortals nearby shot him a look of disgust, and he frowned.

"What the hell are you looking at?" He snapped, and they shook their heads.

"This generation. Cheaters and drug addicts." The woman muttered.

Arya Chiari

Arya waited for the mortals to leave before she returned her gaze to Ryder. "Sorry, first excuse I had was you were my cheating husband." She shrugged. She walked into his room, noticing that he was packed and ready to go.

"So when are you going to open up and tell us why you're so pissed. And don't say Demetrius, I won't believe you. He's annoying, and I get why'd you be pissed, but not that much." She said nonchalantly. She wouldn't leave his room without an answer from the boy.

"It's nothing. Are you ready to go, we're leaving soon." He said, trying to change the subject. "If you aren't ready, we'll leave you behind, and that's a promise." He cleared his throat, trying to sound like the quest leader again.

"Go back to where you came from, Arya. Don't risk your life for us, for a camp that doesn't care about you or anyone else." He sighed.

"Oh." Isabelle said and sighed. she ate some of her toast, but didn't really have an appetite. She was bothered by what Arya said. Isabelle thought maybe it could have been because of all the apparent exposure of his past. she wanted to convince him that it Wasn't his fault. "I um, I have to go, Uh, I left something in my room." she lied to the boys as she got up going to the Motel room.

Arya Chiari

"I'm not going to leave, Ryder. Risking my life over the course of a week is better than living on my own for another year. Do you know what it's like? Not being able to talk to anyone, depend on anyone, because nobody around you understands?" She demanded, glaring up at him.

"I'm not going anywhere. And neither are you, until you get your ass down there and tell Demetrius he can come. You need all the help you can get." She said firmly, jabbing at his chest.

Ryder hesitated, knowing she was right and still trying to fight it. "I know exactly what it's like. That's all I know." He growled in a low voice.

"And if Demetrius wants to be a part of the quest, he can come. How long will it take for you people to understand? I don't care! I could not care less about who joins this quest, who dies on this quest." Ryder said firmly.

It was only half a lie. He didn't care who joined the quest. But every new person who came aboard was just another corpse that he could be creating. One more death, one more person's blood on his hands. And he couldn't take any more.

Arya Chiari

Arya shook her head, reaching out and grabbing his face with both of her hands, forcing him to look at her. "Don't lie, I can tell. I'm not stupid." She said through gritted teeth. "You're a good person, Ryder. Of course you care. It's just what happens, and you just need to admit it and deal with it." She said, staring at him.

"So get over yourself, okay? And stop lying to the person who's trying to help you, it's never a good plan." She scoffed, releasing him awkwardly.

Isabelle arrived at the hallway, she heard talking from the room. She heard what he said. she took a step back, then turned around and walked away. she didn't know what to think. he didn't care if anyone died? he didn't care if she died? she found herself tearing up a bit before she walked outside, wiping away her tears. she didn't go into the cafe. she just sat on a bench outside.

Ryder
Ryder nodded, taking a slight step back and out of her reach. His face tingled where she had touched, but he tried to ignore it. He cleared his throat, walking toward the door.

"I'll go talk to him. No promises." He said, jogging down the stairs and out of the motel. He paused when he noticed Izzy on the bench outside, and walked toward her instead. His insides froze when he noticed her tears.

"What's wrong?" He asked, standing in front of her. His fists were clenched. He would happily kill whoever had hurt her, no matter who it was.

She looked up at him. she just looked angry. she never got angry. "Nothing you would care about." she goot up and walked down the street, she didn't care if she was in the middle of a city she knew nothing about, she just wanted to get away from Ryder.

Ryder

Ryder stared after her, confused. Nothing he would care about? She was one of the only people on the quest that he did care about. He jogged after her, shaking his head.

"Izzy, stop." He called, catching up to her and standing in front of her. "What are you talking about? How could you possibly think I don't care about you?" He asked. As far as friends went, Isabelle was near the top of the very short list of his.

She just stopped looking down at her feet. she knew she wouldn't be able to get away from him. she felt defeated, like the universe was trying to embarrass her. but most of all, she felt lonely. "Just...stay away from me Ryder" she said, she couldn't hold in her tears. she was shivering, she just wanted him to walk away. then maybe she could just die. its not like anyone would care.

Ryder
"No. I'm not going to walk away. Not until you talk to me and tell me what I apparently did. Not until you let me have my say. And if you still want me gone, fine." He blurted out. What was he saying? He should've just let her leave. He couldn't get close, everyone close to him died.

She was being stubborn. She couldn't even look at him. why did she even care about him? he literally told someone that he didn't care about her. but she couldn't stop caring about him, or what he thought. either way she was stubborn, and she didn't respond.

Ryder
Ryder stared at her, just as stubborn, just as unwilling to give in. He crossed his arms over his chest, tapping his foot patiently. They were getting some weird looks from pedestrians, but he ignored it.

Ryder
Ryder reached out and grabbed her hand by instinct, stopping her short. "Talk to me. Please. Just tell me what I did so I can fix it." He said softly. He was used to people walking away, everyone did eventually. But he wanted a reason, he needed a reason.

She pushed him back "Don't touch me!" she said, her eyes wild, she looked at the road beside her, and back at Ryder Lets see if you really care she thought. at the moment, she didn't care what he did. she didn't look into the future. she was in the present. and she stepped onto the road...

Ryder
Ryder stared in confusion as she walked onto the road. His eyes widened when he saw a car heading straight for her, the driver on his phone and not paying attention. Ryder lunged without thinking, shoving Izzy out of the way and taking the impact of the crash instead. Luckily, he knew how to avoid major injury, relaxing his legs and protecting his head immediately. The worst pain was landing back on the pavement. The driver slammed on his brakes after he hit the teenager.

Evan wasn't paying much attention to the world around him,or any other world for that matter. The smoke of the cigarette surrounded him,and he allowed himself a moment to relax.

That is,until the heard the car crash.

In a moment he wasn't on the dinner anymore, having jumped through the window and causing a major mess as glass started to fly everywhere. He ignored the screams of the owner as he ran towards Belle and Ryder.

"Hey,you guys okay?" He felt his hands trembling around the sword he had pulled by reflex. Evan wanted to kill the driver, but he had to control himself.

Ryder

Ryder grunted, rubbing the back of his head. He felt blood, and his fingers came away dripping. He heard the driver rush up.

"I'm so sorry, kid, I didn't see you!" He said desperately, hands shaking.

"I'm okay. It's fine." Ryder managed, not trying to sit up. "Where is she? Is she okay?"
