Reaching his opponent, he had swung. The axe in his right hand and missed due to his opponent ducking. However the axe in the left hand collided with his opponents skull as his opponent had ducked directly into the path of the second axe.


This post is what you believed would have happened. This doesn't mean that it will happen. You instantly killed him off because you thought it was what happened when in actuality he had a counter method which allowed him to escape from the death. It doesn't change the fact that you tried to instantly render him dead without giving him a chance to defend himself.


The definition of auto-hit is hitting an opponent without letting them defend. Re-read your post. I don't believe you even gave him an attempt to defend himself, now did you? The answer to that question is no.

Then connect the dots and realize I was right...

Note: I stated what happened...


I had swung but my right axe had missed (due to him ducking) I then stated what happened due to him ducking into the second axe...


I didn't auto him


I didn't not give him chance to dodge...


In fact he died because he ducked instead of taking a step back...

Stepping in here. Maybe @Sherwood can give his opinion on the matter but this is how I see it:


@Genocide 's character was 16' away from @Amplitude404 's character. I don't know if his character is capable of moving as fast as @Exodus says he needs to have moved nor do I care.


It would seem as if the issue here is whether or not Genocide's character was in front or behind Amplitude's character when he rushed for 16' for a double axe attack at head and abdomen. While Amplitude did not indicate whether his character made the charge head on or turned to charge at his opponent behind him, I think it is reasonable to assume that the charge was made face to face. One does not run backward 16' to charge at an enemy. Whether Genocide's character was behind Amplitude's character is irrelevant, at the time of the attack, they were face to face.


I know that this thread was last posted on Nov. 26, and I am sure that everyone involved can be understanding that a moderator as busy as Sherwood might have let this one fall in the cracks, especially as this was during the Thanksgiving celebrations.


If you wish to cease this particular RP, that's fine. If you wish to continue it then you may go ahead and do that as well. I have given my opinion on the matter, it's up to you to decide where you go from here.
