She smiled at his last sentence, "Yeah, let's see where they went off to, I'm sure 'Hector' is missing them- especially considering just how much he said the first time he was with us." Vivian sarcastically but playfully remarked. She too got out of her chair and saw a slight advertisement for a job in the student café, either a chef or a waitress- she took a mental note of this and promised herself she'd come back later to check it out in more detail. It would be an easy and fast way to make money after all., and besides- maybe she'd enjoy it.

"Well they're either still in the hallways or they've already gone out into the garden, where should we go to check for them?"

Vladius pushed the door open to the student cafe to find it nearly empty. A few people were sitting around eating as well as two people, as well as a guy and a girl.
"Shit!" Vladius yelled, a bit too loudly as realizing that he didn't bring money with him. Several of the occupants in the cafe turned to stare at Vladius, then turned back to whatever they were doing.
On an inspection of his pocket, he found a buck and a quarter. The remains of the five dollar bill that he spent on the bus ride here.
"I'll make it work," Vladius shrugged, his face colouring as he realized his cussing was too loud and that it attracted attention. He walked up to the counter, put his money on next to the cash register, and, pretending his cussing never happened, asked with a small smile, "May I get a large hash brown patty please?"
The woman at the cash register nodded, obvious that she too was going to ignore Vladius' foul language, and typed up his order in the cash register, taking the dollar and depositing it in. "Can I get a name, and would you like a receipt"
"Vladius to the first, no to the second," Vladius replied. He noticed that his hands were shaking, and wondered the reason of it. His small mistake couldn't have shaken him that much, had it?
As he waited for his hash brown to be made, or, likely, to be microwaved, Vladius took a seat at an empty table, reached down to his belt and took out his half empty bottle of blood, then stared at it conflictedly. It wouldn't be too weird if he started drinking out of this, would it? I can't be the only vampire or sanguinarian here. Eh, screw it.
Vladius popped off the lid of the vial of blood, taking a large gulp, and sighed. The drink seemed to settle his strangely jittery nerves. Now all that was left was to get his hashbrown and get out of this embarrassing situation.

Chanmi looked up at the others with a bit of shyness. Barely anyone knows about her abilities and she had never demonstrated them to anyone before. Chanmi looked over at Kai who was obviously troubled. "Being the Grim Reaper's son doesn't mean that no one can see the good in you," Chanmi spoke, "He doesn't define who you are, you do." Chanmi then smiled, "And it's okay I was done explaining myself." She then looked at the buildings "You okay you seemed worried when you looked over at those buildings?" she asked Kai.

Kai looked at Chanmi and nodded listening to her then looked back at his hand again. "You see people would always be scared of me because they said, I had to chance to take their life? "You're quite the nice person I really enjoy talking to you, and no no it's nothing." Kai said with a worried expression trying to hide the fact. He looked up at the sky over Chanmi's head as he sighed.

Violet stumbles as the girls walk after Selene, who may not have heard Rose's attempt to get her to stop. Rose stops and catches her sister, who is panting slightly.
"We should ask her some other time," Rose says, breathlessly.
"Right. Sorry, I didn't realize we'd be going so fas you couldn't keep up," Rose says with a regretful look.
Violet shakes her head. "It's alright. I want to know more too, but we can ask her anytime."
"Right. So, now what? I guess we could join the group in the garden, anyway, even if we can't get answers from Selene."
"We could. Is there anywhere else you want to check out though?"
"Hmmm...." Rose's voice trails off as she pulls out the map of the school. The two girls move to stand against the wall of the hallway just outside the cafe and search the map for anything interesting.

"I doubt such a being exists and if so he must hate me" she giggled at the thought, some skeletonal being that harvests souls must hate hospitals and doctors like her. Before I'd answer her question, I would hear the word, "Shit," being said loud and clear. I'd turn to glare and stare at the one who uttered such a phrase. I noticed he was drinking a strange substance. Blood. Is he a vampire? I should keep an eye on him. Then I'd just turn back to Vivian.

"Why don't you go on ahead? I'll meet back with you. Wouldn't make sense if Hector appeared and I disappeared without some tangible reason, no? But if anything, I'd look first to the cafe. Anyhow, adieu," I'd say towards her.

I'd teleport back to my dormitory room to change back into Hector. Then I'd start walking back down to where Vivian should have gone too.

While the people around him talk, Fox studied each individual through the slits in the eyes of the mask. "You're looking at it in a negative fashion anyways. Just because you have a 'bad power," he rose his arms and did air quotes, "doesn't mean it's bad in all sense. Yes, Grim Reapers take a lot of innocent lives, but they also take the wicked, the dirty, the suffering. They give people a chance of happiness for once in their miserable lives. I don't know about you, but if it were up to me, i rather die than being stuck in something so retched as tubes in my arms, or stuck in a place that i'll never get out of. Of course, i would fight my hardest first. They save lives by giving them death. You just have to think like that about a lot of things. I learned that the hard way."

A loud voice caught Vivian's attention, and clearly it had done the same to many others including Lorenzo. Vivian turned to face the person who had just cursed out loud to see a rather skinny boy with a phial of what looked like blood, the skinny boy was wearing quite a lot of black- just like her.

"Yeah sure go on then, see you there." She said to Lorenzo before he vanished into thin air with his teleportation, she sighed with slight envy at Lorenzo's convinient ability. She then got out of her seat and began to walk to the door of the café, but first she stopped at the booth the skinny boy was at and said "Nice colour scheme" whilst gesturing to their dark outfits. She continued walking out and shortly made it to the hallways. There she saw the two sisters from earlier, they were looking at a map.

"Hey you two, where is Selene?" She said looking around for her, she must've been in such a hurry to get as far away from Lorenzo as possible that she left these two behind. "Hm, well I'm sure we'll see her again sooner or later. Are you two still going out to the park?" She inquired, even if they had other plans she knew that Lorenzo would definitely be at the park anyway.

Chanmi turned over towards Eshreal. "Well there are so many weird and unexplained things in the world so you really can't be sure about anything." she said. Chanmi then turned over towards Fox and listened to what he had to say.

Chanmi agreed with what Fox said. "Fox is right," she put one had on Kai's shoulder, "Your power might not be bad and yeah the grim reaper takes innocent lives but, he also takes the wicked ones as well. You just have to think positive." Chanmi then smiled brightly.

Rose looks up from the map first as she hears Vivian speak. She shrugs at the question. "Lost her," she replied bluntly.
"W-we were just looking at the map to see if there's any place we should look for before classes start." Violet adds, her voice still soft, but she sounds a bit more comfortable with Vivian than she did before.
"Yeah," Rose nods, then glances around. "Where's the other guy?" she asks.

Kai smiled and looked at his friends and especially at Chanmi, for some reason when she put her hand on his shoulder Kai had unpleasant feeling as if he could feel her very essence just from touching his shoulder. He never experienced this so he had a serious face to disguise the shocked feeling he had from what just happened. "Yeah you guys are right. Should I start on my story then? I want to warn you guys it's a pretty dark story so bare with me." He said awkwardly laughing as he scratched the back of his head. "Another thi-" He stopped his sentence as he didn't want to bring up his uncontrollable magic power the corruption. It was something apart of him that he could not tell anyone, not even if he had a girlfriend he wouldn't want her to be completely terrified that if she where to annoy him enough he'd go berserk. Nah of course he couldn't let his friends know then they'd especially be scared of him knowing the power that dwells inside of him. Kai held Chanmi's hand and stood up bringing her up with him as he watched the clouds moving slowly towards the beautiful sun. Before he started telling his story he looked at Chanmi. "Can you see what I see?" Kai said looking back at the clouds as what he saw was a peaceful world nothing but filled with hope. Ever since Kai was a kid all he wanted was "Hope" and "Will" but because of others always bullying him and being scared of him because of his parents histories he never experienced those two. ​

Chanmi was ready to hear Kai's backstory. After hearing Kai say that his story was dark she felt like he would be a little bit uncomfortable to speak of it. Once Kai held Chanmi's hand, she began to blush uncontrollably; no one has ever held her hand before so she was very neverous and shy. "K-Kai why are you-" Chanmi then stopped speaking once she notcied that Kai was asking her a question. "See what you see? What do you mean?" she asked. She then noticed that he was staring at the clouds, "The clouds? They're beautiful right, flowing through the wind freely without a care. They're always moving on...". She then remembered that Kai was holding her hand and looked down in embarrassment and blushed even more, "K-Kai...".

Fox whistled as he noticed the hand holding. "Chanmi and Kai sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes marriage then comes-Ow!" He glared as a small wad of chewed paper his his ear. He looked over to Alec who smirked while putting his straw back into his cup and taking a sip. "I got you a bagel now stop being a jerk to people's crushes." He handed the bagel to Fox and watched him slip it under his mask. "Thanksh Alechk." He said through the mouth full of food that no one can see. "Chanmi and Kai were getting freaky with the hand holding. I just hope they don't start kissing or i'm going to hurl." Alec rolled his eyes before bowing to the two. "Sorry for my brother's rudeness."

Taking another sip of blood, Vladius felt the jitters go out of his arms and legs. Vladius had no idea what in the blood helped him calm down. Perhaps it was the familiar taste of life or the oxygen that inhabited it.
As he watched, one of the two people who were standing spontaneously disappeared. Vladius blinked in surprise. Had he imagined that? Everyone else in the cafe didn't seem to twitch an eye about it, The other figure visibly sighed, then walked toward the door, passing by Vladius and complimenting his outfit.
"Hey, thanks," Vladius replied, cracking a grin, "Same with you."
Looks like being Gothic here isn't too unacceptable.
After a moment, he heard his name being called out. He started, looking around to see who said it, then spotted a worker holding a hashbrown patty in a paper pocket.
"That'd be me," Vladius said, getting up and taking the hashbrown, "Thanks, mate."
Walking out of the cafe, he noticed the girl from earlier, as well as two others, and decided that he was too lazy to strike up a conversation, so he headed the opposite direction of the way that the three girls were.

"I feel like your background would be something, but I'm more so interested in those supernatural powers you used before!" Listening to Kai's question Corvus' eyes dart off into where he was looking, only to find nothing of significance.
He uncontrollably bursting out into laughter "Well don't you sound like the perfect protagonist? I suppose it couldn't be helped, the roof is the usual setting for these kinds of things." Looking over at Fox with amusement still residing in his voice. "As long as they're enjoying themselves I don't have a problem." Putting more of a serious tone on his character. "But It'd be better if you could go along with the story, your physical bonding could continue later." Shuddering in disgust at the wad of paper hit Fox's face, Corvus nervously wipes sweat off his forehead.

"Everything can be explained" Eshreal muttered to herself she probably couldn't change Chanmi's mind or anyone elses. Kai even if hes 'the grim reapers' son still bled which meant the grim reaper could bleed too which meant that even legends such as himself are biological. And everything biological can be explained. It only takes a genius to unravel their secrets. Staring off into the horizon she recollected on her memories. "i dont have much of a history" she said in a slightly sad-ish tone​

Looking at the clouds move on he noded from what chanmi said to Kai as he smiled a bit, Kai hasn't smiled in a long time. "The way they move so freely and peacefully without even a sign of misfortune." Kai looked down at him holding her hand as he didn't even noticed he was holding it to begin with he let go and looked away blushing extremely hard. "Sorry sorry!" Kai said scratching the back of his head. He looked over at Fox who was obviously teasing them as he face palmed, hearing Alec's voice brought joy to his heart knowing Fox can finally be controlled. Kai then looked over at Corvus with a slightly serious face. "My Supernatural power? You want to have a little spar?" Kai said while getting a bit excited, he always loves to train in some type of way to get stronger. "A protagonist? I would never be able to fit that role!" He said looking back over at the clouds as his hair flowed with the wind. " Everyone has history we just got to dig deep and find it. I didn't even know who I was till I was raised by this old man who taught me everything I needed to know." Kai said having a soft smile to Eshreal. ​

Vivian replied with a worried tone, but it wasn't too much of a problem because Selene seemed like the type to get overworked anyway- she was sure Selene would get over it. "And honestly there is not really anywhere else to go except outside, into the park. You might as well come with me guys, it'll be fun and I doubt anyone will be there other than us." She could sense the ease in Violet's voice when she spoke- she was clearly much more comfortable with Vivian now.

"The other guy?" Vivian said wondering who Rose was talking about. "Oh, yeah he's gone for now- he went back into his room in a fuss." She said lying through her teeth about Lorenzo, she knew he would be at the park too- except as Hector. She then began to walk towards the park, a few steps in she turns her head to the sisters "coming?" She said with a smile and a gesture towards to direction in which she was walking.

Corvus pulls his saber from the sheath on his back, the weapon seeming fresh as if it's never been used. "You know... I've always loved the mixture of stylish sword fighting, and the savage power of explosives. It's a jaw dropper in my opinion." Scratching the back of his head with a jokingly tone in his voice. "I'd also prefer if you didn't snatch my soul from my body if that's alright with you." Giving Kai an unusually stern glare. "So when do we start?"

Once I donned my disguise, I'd begin making my way back to the Cafe, like I should. After all, I left saying that I unpacked my belongings, and that I don't know where the others are. I'd take quiet, simple strides back down. Lowering my head, as if I were humbling myself.

When I reached the cafe, no one who I knew or noticed was there. Including that Vampire Kid. I would then take a slow search for them. Asking around simply, yet directly about their roundabouts. Without luck, I'd go back to the Hallway. Then, I'd see 4 people. Rose, Violet, and Vivian, and nearby the Vampire Kid whom I've ambiguously named.

I'd notice the blood vial that he had, it had seemed he'd taken another sip. What an excuse for me to start a ruckus. As I'd approach simply, yet so silently, my eyes grew wide looking at him. "Que Asco! Diablo!" I'd yell, no scream! I'd quickly get out pendant with a Christian Cross on it, doing the sign of the cross quickly and swiftly, as I'd run towards Vivian and Co's direction. On the way, I'd take a bottle of what seemed to be Holy Water and left a trail behind me, a funny, yet legit way of warding off "Diablos."

I'd reach Vivian, out of breath, and I'd hide behind her, pointing to the Vampire I've been running from. "Diablo! Diablo!" I'd yell once more. I'd slip in her hand a pendant similar to the one I have, and throw 2 more at Rose and Violet. I'd tremble in fear behind Vivian, hoping that she'd "Help," in some way. But hey, getting Rose and Violet's assistance may help as well.

"So you sure about this then?" Kai rested his left hand on his right shoulder as he moved his arm in a circular motion stretching it out. "I can't stand down from a challenge like this. I won't promise not taking your soul." Kai said jokingly as he started stretching his body. " Come at me then if you're really tempted." He reached his hand out as two magic circle appeared on top of each other as they spread out in opposite directions summoning his scythe which he soon grabbed ahold of. His darkened magic aura surrounded him as his eyes turned red with a spinning symbol on them as the symbol stopped the aura vanished. "I'm ready whenever you are." Kai got in an unusual stance gripping his scythe with his right hand and have his left hand out ready for what's coming up.

Anything else you need just call us." Her father spoke on the phone. On the other side of the world, Kagami smiled as she listened to her father's voice. "Thanks dad. I'll call you and mom later.Bye!"she said before ending the call.

"Fukuro Highschool. It's time for me to meet some of the people you have to offer." she said to herself. With a poof of clouds, she transformed into her bat form. She started to fly, scanning the school for people she found intresting. "Is that a fight that is about to happen? "She squeaked as she hovered around the school roof.She flew down and transformed back into her human form as she landed on the floor.

"First day of school and your already fighting?"Kagami said. Her red eyes darted to person to person, capturing the image of each person on the roof.

And with that Corvus was already off the ground leaping at Kai ready to snatch him by his head with his mechanical arm only to bounce off of into the space above him. "Did I take you by surprise?" Preparing a downward slash hoping that he will end the fight rather quickly. On an unfortunate turn of events Corvus became startled at the sight of a bat and lost focus ending up to fall rather awkwardly behind Kai. "Oh why is a bat here in the middle of the day..."

Kai sensed the presence of the bat as it had a familiar magic presence to it as if he was around it before. Without noticing Corvus was above him about to strike down as Kai didn't move, soon after Corvus fell behind Kai. "Scared of bats?" Kai mentioned was standing back to back with Corvus. "If this was life or death I could've ended you right now after your mess up right there." Kai's tone in voice gotten colder as his magic power seemed darker. He flashed stepped away from Corvus to gain some distance as he looked at Corvus. ​
