Do you want Lorin and Milli to already be a couple, based on your history? Or perhaps more teasing/shy/awkward puppy love as of yet? Or...

Hmm... part of me wants to suggest some sort of love triangle for Kiel, Milli and Lorin if Lorin is not straight, but at the same time Kiel would def go bros before hoes and let Milli shoot her shot first. Could still cause some drama and dialogue which could be a plot point later. If Lorin is straight, I'd say let the relationship develop throughout the role play as opposed to jumping into it, just because the building would be fun.

Love triangles are a bit meh. Cause a lot of drama and hurt most of the time. As for Lorin... Either straight or bi, leaning maybe towards the latter but he's still in the closet or something? Hm...
 
Topless Topless As for the two knowing each other, since they're from different nations I'm not sure exactly where they could have met before lol. I do know that there could be some awkward tension between them when they first meet because she's from Belen, and Kiel knows about the "tough" culture the nation has. Since he's effeminate, he'll believe that people from there will look down on him, so he could be apprehensive with her at first. He may have had some interactions with some others from Belen in the past which didn't go well prior as well so.

Well, it wouldn't be much of a love triangle lol, since Kiel would be like, "okay, go for it," to Milli after all of it comes out. He wouldn't exactly get hurt over it either. He'd probably just be like, "that's too bad," and be sad for a bit before quickly moving on.

What's the timeline for when they board the ship? If Milli boards after Kiel, perhaps there could have been some flirting going on with Lorin and Kiel, and maybe Kiel is helping him accept his sexuality and whatnot.

That's a good question. So far I have it confirmed that Becker Becker (Mo) was there when Lorin was born. Other than that, I'm not sure. You could very well have gotten the crew to watch a performance of "Tantalus" since we were there while it was going around.

Well if Topless Topless is fine with it, we could have Kiel have become part of the crew before Milli and have had some flirting going on with him and Lorin while Kiel helps him come to terms with his sexuality. Then when Milli comes and is into Lorin as well and befriends Kiel, things get complicated.

If you don't really want drama though, we can just scrap the whole thing. I just think drama can make things fun though lol. Then again I don't really plan out ships beforehand either so feelings and conflict just kinda happen.

I'm okie with drama, I think it make things more interesting and engaging.

I'm probably being overly cautious and worried about my thick skin xD

Mostly I tend to want things to end up alright is all. We could do what Anne Boolean Anne Boolean suggested, though since the RP is starting at the point where everyone has been on the ship already, should we do some practice PM RP to get the right feel, or just wing it?

It's up to you guys. Although if Kiel was somewhat involved with Lorin first he wouldn't back off lol. Have you guys for sure wanted Lorin and Milli to end up together? If so, maybe Milli should be on board first, and Lorin can show interest in Kiel as he's questioning his sexuality. Kiel can help him come to terms with it, and after befriending Milli and finding out they were somewhat involved before he could invoke bros before hoes and back off.

And sure. I've never really done a practice RP beforehand, but I guess I could give it a try?

Kiel is also very much into poly stuff (as long as all parties consent to it), so if Lorin wants to be with both him and Milli, as well as anyone else, he'd be fine with it. And he'd of course be okay with other characters wanting to be with him too lol, so if anyone's interested he's not off the market. ;)
