Fandom Fate/Drifters ooc

Servants are fun characters to create/play, but the Masters are generally the ones that control the flow of the story in a Grail War...assuming this rp doesn't take an Apocrypha style and make Masters irrelevant.

I mean I'll end up playing a Master too unless somehow all the Master slots for our side is filled up naturally. Granted not sure what kind of Master I'd play quite yet but meh Master's are fun, the problem I'd say is just how magecraft can be rather confusing to someone not really familiar with it. I've got a good idea of Fate and magecraft still can be a bit confusing to me. XD

Masters are the brains. Servants are the brawn that execute the orders--> Fate/Zero

Masters are the mana battery. Servants do everything --> Fate/Apocrypha.

Non-mage Master. It'll be lots of fun. My Caster was saddled with one once. You've no idea how much he suffered.

I've done a Mana-battery before. Its pretty fun, granted I at least made her have an insane source of Mana so the servant at the very least had plenty of Mana to leach from... even if she was absolutely useless otherwise. :P Though I've also done a prodigy mage before too, granted to be fair I had her younger so she at least lacked a lot of experience so she wasn't just some dominant powerhouse and had some naivety to her that could be potentially exploited. Lot of fun ways to do a Master really. :P

Also be fair QuirkyAngel QuirkyAngel in Apocrypha there were two masters that pratically did everything. Though they were also both servants, in a way

Which two?

If I remember correctly, the Masters of team red were taken hostage...or something? Team Black had the most memorable Masters.

wdinatx wdinatx by the by, question about your favorite king, does his gate of babylon have access to every single noble phantasm or just those with a physical form? Cause he never seems to have, like, ability-based noble phantasms though he does have access to basically every weapon noble phantasm.

I'm fairly sure it's just the physical ones. He owns every treasure, not every NP.

Yeah (assuming we're thinking of the same one). He was actually one of my favorite villains in the whole fate franchise

Darnic, right?

I dropped apoc, but the moment that Mr villain's theme song played I knew he'd be a bad dude. Not much of a twist imo.

Apocrypha was one of the reasons I started this rp. I feel like we could do a better one. With relevant Masters and all.

Nope. Shirou Kotomine.

I did like the whole Dracula thing, but Darnic to me was always pretty 2-dimensional. His servant was quite fascinating on the other hand.

Riiight. Forgot about him. The avenger ruler^^

He really did give off a villain vibe.

How did he become a Master again? The end's a bit of a blur to me...

It had so much potential. squandered in in many places but over-all I generally liked it. Probably my favorite spin off of Fate.

I tried the same before just focused around the other side being more on the Grail's side with altered servants and the world pretty much screwed. :P

The fate world is both interesting and confusing to be because of the many alternate timelines and spin offs.

I remember seeing it I think.

Hopefully the world in this rp won't be end up screwed, but I can promise nothing.
