"Ferrin." she stated simply in response to the man. It wasn't like she had some amazingly constructed rhetoric planned for meeting someone, but it was what it was. "I worked a a guard for a trader. Hounds got to him though, and I was headed to Colonia originally for lack of a better place to go."
As the people readied themselves against her, believing her to be a potential threat, Ferrin made a point to check who reached where, reaction times and a few other simple things just to get a good grasp on the who of the people she'd come across. It was obvious that not everyone from the group was used to each other, and the loud one definitely seemed like he was fresh to the game. He reminded her of a fresh Privt just pulled from the slave dredges. Shaking her head, she rested her spear across both shoulders and rested her hands atop it as she heard them mention hornets.
"They probably heard you too. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the Fel Marsh heard you given the volume," she responded dryly, walking a slight semi-circle around the grouping before bringing herself into view of the hornets, "I can easily say that you've made your first big mistake, and that it would be time to go. Unless, mayhaps, you'd find yelling at them to be a more useful approach?"
With that she turned her back to the group and faced the hornets, figuring out their speed and how long it would take them to reach. Well, not long enough if they just stood around.
"So, since you've gotten me into the hornet problem, you get to lead me out of the hornet problem," she snapped, directing her comment at the man who had yelled.
