Recommended new stats for Alien Grenades
Damage - 4,000 Blast to anyone in its radius
Fire Rate - 1 grenade per action
Special Attributes
* The Commander has a chance of tossing the grenade weakly. He does this if he rolls under 12. This never happens if it is the first action he takes in his turn.
* The grenade detonates at the end of the closest enemy's turn.

Mind Control cooldown should be 5 turns (3 if failed), and Inspire and Panic's shared cooldown should be 3 turns.

Also, I should mention.

Minor movements (such as ducking out from behind cover and attacking, but not returning to cover afterward, and jumping onto a higher object once or twice) can be done in the same turn as any other action.
Major movements (such as activating an objective, returning to cover, or running fair distances) consume a whole action. Depending on the character's agility, prolonged running can span for their entire turn.

Vagabond Spectre Vagabond Spectre What was your choice in picking Ib, anyhow? I am genuinely curious.
Why i chose Ib over a hundred million possible characters that are stronger than her? Well... I'm not really fond of super mighty characters because i know the next guy who will make a character will make sure he/she will be twice stronger than mine. (In my point of view) Plus, i'm bad at describing actions. Putting my noggin in use. I realized intelligence-oriented characters are the way to go. I wanted my character to stand out and unpredictable. Ib was the perfect qualified candidate. With her non-cobat oriented yet creative mind, she is more likely to stay alive than any other horror RPG characters i know.

I need to know what you guys think on a PvP mode as one of the bonus games. You can participate in them at the same time as one RP universe, but you can only do it once a week and only if you've completed at least 3 missions. 3 characters will fight 3 on a perfectly symmetrical battleground with lots of obstacles, higher grounds, and resources. No revives.

I know it will encourage competitiveness, due to prizes, and being able to bet previous resources, but I thought it would be fun every now and then. Just as long as we're not too competitive.

Nice explanation. I understand not everyone wants to physically weaken the enemy.

PvP sounds alright. i know that my second character would be veeery up to it.

yeah, your characters are good! what about ours?

All of these characters are nice, and interesting, choices so far.
Nice to see OCs and obscure characters as sort of wildcards, to be honest.

Captain Falcon is definitely a cool choice, and a practical one, from what I can see. And the second one, whom I will not reference by name as of current because I don't like spoiling... hoh boy! Is he gonna be a D20 on caffeine, right? By that... I mean a wild card.

What are your personal thoughts on my selections; Pit and Sam, though? Just curious.

First combat post! Even after I realized the wizards.com dice roller has a D100 option...

Please... either use RPNation's system, or don't cheat. It's not fun.

sorry, im a bit confused on what exactly i roll - is this DnD where i roll to hit then roll damage? for example, say i rolled a 15 to hit - do i gain any PER bonuses (or any other bonuses) and am i rolling against the enemies accuracy roll (in this case, 11)? for damage, say i rolled a 12 - do i then add strength modifiers than calculate damage from that? for moves that hit multiple times per action, do i roll for each action?

sorry, its just that im not used to dice rolling. once i get used to it itll be a lot easier for me. AshuraaHunter AshuraaHunter

Roll to hit. If you're completely successful (6 or higher; 1 is a critical miss which will leave you open for a turn unless you're using a weapon), then you roll for damage. And yes, you add the stat modifiers. For example, if you had 12 Strength, you'd add a +1 modifier. Then, once you hit, roll a D100 or D200, depending on if there is a .5 in a status chance. For moves that hit several times, you would roll for each hit, yes.

For everyone here, I would just recommend using the wizards.com dice roller for now. RPN crew is apparently creating a new dice system from scratch.

what do i roll for hit? a d20? coz hitting a six or more seems quite simple? then, if i hit, i roll a d20 once more for damage (which i assume getting a perfect 10 with modifiers is damage shown on the sheet, and rolling above/under increases/decreases the damage by a certain amount? what is that amount?) then i roll a d100 for status - say the status is 20% chance, it would trigger if i rolled a 20 or under, yes?
