Rex held back a chuckle, clearing having no idea how close he was to a violent fall. Folding his arms calmly, he narrowed his eyes "If you're waiting for an apology, you can very well go and,,eh,,well, I don't hand them out freely" He smirked slightly "Take a load off! Okay? I ain't here to Hang out and have tea parties, this is about surviving. Not everone has,," He paused and gave his hand a quick glance. Before his hand had been shrugged off, he seemed to feel some sort of energy upon physical contact, like he had almost gained a little bit of energy. Randomly, Rex laughed quietly "This place is just Full of surprises!" he then turned his attention back towards Ferra "Here's how things are going to be: If you try to strand me here, I've got no reason to remain..civil. However, if you help me get out, all animosity will be forgotten. Now before..." Rex stopped talking and stared down at the strange creature, not sure what to make of its random appearance "Whats that? Torrs little brother?"

Ferra and Torr

Ferra simply shook her head as Rex began speaking. "Did the thought ever occur to you all you had to do was ask nicely?" She asked him, shortly before the..thing...ran up and started talking to her. She arched a brow curiously at it, Queen? What..well..maybe it's to do with when I drank Reeds' blood maybe? She thought, looking the thing over. Normally, you'd figure one would run from such a creature. Then again, she also just murdered a dragon and that thing was much smaller than a dragon. "Uhhh. No..I've never seen this thing before. I think it's called N'ythg? It said that..anyway." She told him. "Just..just a second." She added before walking over to Torr and pulling a chunk of dragon meat out of the bag. Walking back over she held it out to the thing, "Here you go little guy. I'm not quite sure why you're calling me your Queen though, but, alright." She told it.

The thing was odd, in a way it reminded her of a fleshy version of Frillz, if only in the way it spoke.
N'thyg 'Kofum Seeing the meat he consumed it in one bite making a hissing noise and his wings reapaired themselves, glistening in the light as they were whole again rather than full of bullet holes and tears. Turning to the one who commented relations before he screeched I high pitch noise opening his sharpened maw with disdain. "N'thyg zerg. Last of brood."

Hitsugya remained in the air with his wings flapping and opened his palm. He glanced at Crimson and nodded to him, turning back to the stone guardians "Hey! Ollie ollie octan bitchs!! Over here!!!" he shouted out and put his hands together, mixing black flames with black lightning and beginning to gather more and more of it.

Falcon

"Hmm?" Falcon had heard Nyr's admittedly cute giggle and gave her an inquisitive look. He'd ask what she was laughing at, but as he was about to, she leapt into another explanation of her world's strangeness. He managed to keep a straight face throughout her entire explanation, her tale one he was quite familiar with. Women being treated like meat, and not ones to be eaten... that's what life was like before he was brought back, huh? He never though much of it as a child, and even after being revived, for some time, he was oblivious to why women were just as important as men.

But now? He couldn't respect them more. That's to say, while he harbors so little respect for humans, for what little respect he has to give, he gives the same to women as he does to men. They're just slabs of meat, but to him, they're equally important slabs of meat, and to think that their people, who were so focused on loving the Earth and those from it, could be so ignorant... he supposed that even different worlds had to have something wrong with them. However, he could help but blush as well at her jabs at him. He didn't necessarily feel bad, though. In fact... one could say he-

"Oh. I see. That's a reasonable hope for a husband."

You hear that? That's the sound of what human's call a heart breaking into itty-bitty pieces. Good thing you don't have one of those, right?! Hah!

Falcon scratched his chin with his tail, before coughing into his fist. "Well, we're here." He muttered, gesturing not-so-grandly to the immense building before them- a magnificent and extravagant building that stretched across a reasonably large swath of land- that was more commonly known by the rest of the civilians as the mall. He'd never been here himself, though he'd been in malls before. Generally it was to try (and usually fail) at purchasing some article of food or clothing or other necessity. Of course, now he wasn't here for himself. Taking out a wallet, he quickly counted the money in that single wallet. Roughly five hundred dollars. Of course, he did take this from an old man's dead body, so it wasn't as surprise he carried his cash with him.

"Alrighty then. C'mon Nyr. I don't go to these often- the reason's obvious enough- so let's get this over with." Taking her by the hand as to not lose her, he strolled in, opening the door with his tail, much to a nearby child's surprise. After making his way to the nearest directory, he let go of Nyr's hand, assuming she'd stay nearby. He hoped he could get away with hiding his blush under his hat, but the way his ear was glowing, it was almost like a beacon. He studied the directory for a minute or two, before nodding to himself.

"Right. So, Nyr, there's a women's clothing store down that way about a hundred paces to your right. We could stop by there, and pick you something... up?" He felt a large hand rest on his shoulder. Confused, he turned to face the man who'd done so, only to come face-to-face with one of the largest security guards he'd seen in his life. Well then. "Uh... good afternoon, officer. What can I do for you?" Not bothering to speak, he went on with his inspection, first by grabbing his tail (rather roughly) and looking it over, eyes drawn to what appeared to be dried blood on the razor sharp tip. Then, he used his baton to lift up Falcon's upper lip before he had time to protest so he could inspect. Finding what he wanted, he grunted a nod, and stood back.

"Sir, I'm going to have to give you a pat-down. New mall policy. I'm sure you understand. Turn around please." Falcon narrowed his eyes, but didn't bother trying to argue with him. He'd had plenty of these before. It wasn't as if they were unwarrented- Humasilisks were known killers and more-often-than-not carried weapons on them to get out of scuffles with magical foes. Setting his hands behind his head, and spreading his legs a little farther apart, he stood stock still as the cop ran his knuckles across the problem spots a person might usually hide a weapon, sticking in no spot for more than a second. When he was finished, he grunted, and stood back. "You check out. Have a nice day." With that, he hopped back onto his segway and rode off, leaving Falcon feeling a little less private.

"...That's why I wear the trench coat. So I don't have people like that doing what he just did."

Heidt

"Shame." Heidt grunted, reclining in the couch, his mischievous expression acquiring a quaint, bored tone to it. "And today just had to be the day I run all out of contracts! Any of you know a good way to make some cash? Preferably with having a good time in the job description?" He flicked an eye open, its normal bright blue colour highlighted with gold markings throughout that flashed every now-and-again. "...I sense a disturbance in the Foooorce, Malorn my padawan." With a grin, he sat up, slapping his hands on his thighs. While he couldn't see anything, as his eye might suggest, he could definitely feel a spike in the dark energies he was sensing before- like whatever he was sensing before was trying to make an example of something by using its power.

"Funky... The Force is no longer being disturbed, Malorn my padawan..." Chuckling to himself, the highlights faded, returning his eyes to their natural topaz blue. Relaxing, he leaned back into Malorn's couch. "Now that's what I call one hell of a trip! But, ah, whatever you guys decide to do, I'm sticking with you for it, kay? I'm hella bored, and I won't get anymore Guild issued or Edgewater issued contracts for another day or two and I need a way to entertain myself while I wait. Got it?"

@KageYuuki
Nyr was about to comment on his tone of voice when she felt him grab her hand. It made her go a little pink again, but she didn't protest as they walked into the mall. If she were to be a hundred percent honest, it felt...kind of nice. Even if he was cool to the touch, it seemed to balance out her ever-changing high body temperature. She almost wanted to lean into him, but she resisted since she figured he wouldn't be to fond of that. She was a bit disappointed when he let go of her hand, and she glared at the body guard as he patted him down. Rude. She huffed a bit, looking at the map again. When he was done, she scooped up his hand again and started walking in the direction of the woman's clothing store.

"Well than, I guess we better get me somethin to wear huh?" She grinned before entering the store. She almost stumbled when she saw how many different types of clothing there were, but she just shook her head, huffing a bit. So many clothes, yet none were what she was accustomed to. She headed toward the young adult section, browsing the clothes. She came up with an armful of clothes that seemed about her size and her usual style, having let go of Falcon's hand at some point.

"I wonder- oh, there we go. I'm gonna go try these on, and I want your honest opinion." She poked him in the chest with her free hand before scampering off to the fitting room. She'd been in clothing stores before, smaller ones, so she was used to the routine. She quickly shed Falcon's trench coat and pulled the first ensemble on- a dark brown cloth skirt that barely brushed her knees and a black crop top with sleeves that hung off her shoulders and with a silver treble clef sewn in the middle. She looked herself over in the mirror and combed her fingers through her matted hair- had he really let her go out in public like this? She was going to yell at him for that later. Once she looked semi-presentable, she opened the door and went to find Falcon.

"Well?" She held her arms out and gave a little twirl before putting her hands on her hips, shifting her weight to one leg as she half-glared up at him. It wasn't hard to tell that she was in a good mood, than again what girl wouldn't like going clothes shopping?

Rex took a single step back "That sucks" He replied cautiously, then cast a glance at the other two warily "Whats it want? I'll let you handle this" Now his mind began to race, wondering if he'd have some sort of energy contact if he tried touching that creature, but didn't want to risk getting his hand bitten off. For now, he decided to observe, see how it treated the others first. Even now, he was still trying to figure out if he'd be stranded here or not, and the addition of this creature only added an unstable element.

"No. It's not that." She pointed to her family picture. "I continue to live, day by day, with no family." Taylor took a heavy sigh. It was a day she did not want to remember.
Reed didn't know how to comfort her. He had no family from the beginning he just appeared one day. Reed didn't say a word. He just stood up and walked over to her. He wrapped his arms around her. "It's ok you don't have to relive your painful memories. Losing the ones you love is hard so don't worry. I'll be here for you for as long as you will need it."

Crimson saw Hitsugya's nod and I've immediately what that meant. It's time to destroy the temple and whatever is inside. Crimson created energy wings to use to fly into the air on the same level as Hitsu. Crimson gets into the kamehameha position and starts gathering rage energy into his palms.

As the boys charged up their attacks tube guardians threw spears towards them. A couple of spears almost hit them but the storm striked some down whenever lightning striked, and Zedd fired crimson rage beams covering the two. @Veyd Sahvoz

Ferra retracted her hand from the meat just in time to not lose it to the..zerg, apparently. Whatever the hell a zerg was. Nonetheless she felt bad for the thing if it was the last of its breed, that meant it was more or less alone in the world. Though, she wasn't sure how she felt about this whole 'Queen' thing, but oh well, it seemed cool enough."It's okay little fella. You can tag along with us if you want." She told N'thyg, reaching out and carefully petting its head. "And as for you." She turned to address Rex, pausing momentarily. "I'll help you get back on one condition... You help me and Torr look for a place to stay. Sound fair?" She asked, a faint grin on her face.

||Women's Clothes Store (Mall) - Faereach City||

Falcon

"Wha-hey!" He cried as he was dragged, surprised, down to the store by the hand. Suffice to say, he'd not seen the gesture coming, and could feel his blush burn up his remaining ear. He wasn't against the gesture, he was just surprised, is all. To be honest, it sent a little chill down his spine to be holding hands with Nyr. Her hands were surprisingly warm, and felt soft to the touch, despite the fact she had to have worked with dirt in all her time on her world. He could almost feel the hints of a grin growing on his face as she dragged him along. It was... nice. He couldn't forget that he wasn't good enough for her, but he'd allow himself to loose himself in her kindness, for now.

When he was dragged into the women's clothing store, the first thing that hit him was the smell. Perfume. Something he was always disgusted by. He could very well tell when somebody was altering their scent, and he personally found perfume abhorrent- natural scent to him was much better than unnatural scent. After Nyr had spent a good minute looking around, she let go of his hand (to his dismay) and strolled off to find an outfit to have him buy. Sighing to himself, he simply trudged through the store, casting glances left and right at the outfits, feeling out of place as people stared at his tail and bandaged head. By now, it'd been soaked a dull grey colour, but the fact it hadn't leaked through meant that it was finished bleeding, and that was something to be glad for.

Meeting up with Nyr again by following a mix of her scent (he wasn't sure when he'd pinpointed what she smelled like) and Aquios's mind-wave-thingies, he was unsurprised to see her arms laden with many different sets of clothes. He was a little surprised to see she knew where to try on her clothes, but then again, given the fact she said her people were smarter than he thought, he just figured they must have something similar to what they had in this world. Nodding, he reclined in a small couch near the entrance to the fitting room, before thinking better of letting himself get too comfortable when he was being monitored, and got back to his feet. Just as he did, he saw Nyr leave the changing room.

"Hummana..." He muttered, eyes wide and jaw slack. Quickly realizing he was looking the fool, his hand shot to his mouth and did a mixture of securing his jaw and covering his face. He was extremely glad he couldn't flush like Nyr did whenever she was embarrassed, otherwise he'd be the colour of a tomato right now. While he'd turned his head to clear his mind, his eyes found they couldn't take their gaze off Nyr.

"Y-you uh... you look great! It's really... you, isn't it? Gods we have different tastes..." He muttered, ears burning. "W-well... is that all, or, do you have more to show me?" The mixture of dread and anticipation in his voice at the thought was palpable, and he could've sworn he heard a lady nearby snicker at his discomfort. He'd kill her, he was certain.

((Lol, I'm not a big shopping fan either. Though, I don't hate it, tbh. Cx))

N'thyg 'Kofum Accepting the girl's answer he now understood to be his new, possibly permanent, queen and sat down watching the conversation. He began thinking of his old brood and how he served them in many swarm attacks on unwary prey. Thinking back he remembered all his scars and experience. Though this was a new land and his newly repaired wings and glistening razor sharp, needle-like teeth were the only proof of anything being different. Losing interest he skittered a short distance and began burrowing, using his clawed appendages and front claws to dig through the dirt until he was properly burrowed, only revealing the top of his head as any sign he was still there.

Rex folded his arms and gave Ferra a surprised look, mostly because that sort of request was the last think he expected at this point. It didn't take him long to decide, however, since it was a thousand times better then being stuck in a random forest. "You got a deal. I've got nothing better to do anyways" He held out his hand to seal the deal, Then he added "Doesn't mean I trust you though, nothing personal, just can't take risks. Speaking of risks, what your plans for Lone Wolf over there?" he cast a glance at N'thyg zerg "I won't even Try to say that name, too weird to pronounce, as of yet". Rex already suspected what the answer was going to be, but he figured he could use a confirmation anyhow.

Crimson push forward his hands releasing his energy blast. A destructive combination of rage energy and black lightning and fire.

Both attacks combine with one another creating a black fiery energy blast with, a rage energy outline and black lightning surging around it. The attack hits the temple eradicating everything in its path. What was left was pure Leveled ground and a green glowing sphere floating in the center of it. From afar both teens can witness that the work doesn't occur within a yard radius around it.

Crimson was left breathing sharply after the attack. After the smoke cleared he say only a green sphere floating within the center of the destroyed temple. He looked towards Hitsu, then back towards the sphere. He slowly descended towards the ground. When he landed he hesitated slightly before he started walking towards it. @Veyd Sahvoz

As the teens got closer to the sphere the louder the low toned humming got banging their eardrums. The sphere began to pulsate gradually increasing in speed.

Crimson covered his ears, and fell to his knee as the humming increased in volume. The Fuck is this thing? He ask in agony as his eardrums felt like bursting. @Veyd Sahvoz

Oh shut up and get rid of it!! He yelled as he kneeled down in pain.

As Hitsu touched the sphere he felt every last bit of the pulses come off the sphere past through his power. The energy coming from it was powerful but the sphere's durability was weak. @Veyd Sahvoz

Hitsugya raised the sphere and used an ability he never used in front of people. He slightly opened his mouth and a strange energy came from it, completely incinerating it. He dropped to the ground to catch his breath and get the ringing in his ears to stop.

Ferra nodded and shook his hand, "Good then, and you kinda gotta trust me if you're willing to follow me ya kno'. And as for N'ythg, he's coming along too. Apparently I'm his Queen now, or something, I don't quiet understand it." She replied. "At-least..I think it's a he." She added before walking over to N'ythg. "I know you just got settled in but we needa get moving. I gotta sell these scales and find a place to stay, though sleeping in the streets wouldn't exactly kill me if I had to do it for another day." She told him, kneeling down and patting him on the head like a dog before standing and walking back over to Torr. "Leggo." She declared, walking towards the direction of the portal.

Melchio

"Well, I suppose you must be one of the slyest fox in the world- I've never told anybody that!" He laughed, both at what he said and by what Vix'd said about the owner of the restaurant. "Well that's good! I don't know if I've been paid enough to pay for something this fancy! Looks like I'll have to step up my game for the next date." Woah, wait! Next date?! He barely knew the guy, why the hell was he already thinking of having a second date with him? As he sat, thanking Vix for his gentleman-ness, he began to realize, even if it was barely a thought, as to why he was already thinking of taking Vix out again. He was so... kind! So thoughtful, and let's be honest, those eyes were pretty entrancing too, like a cat's but somehow not mangy looking. He chuckled a little at how Vix confessed how he thought of him to him.

"No need to sound so formal Vix! It's not like I'm some prince you've been trying to swoo for all his life, loosen up a little!~" He laughed, a very genuine smile on his face, his mind in the completely opposite place of thinking of Falcon. He didn't honestly feel like he was out of his league: while he was an optimist and quite confident in himself, he'd never think of himself above others like that. He just wasn't that kind of guy. "Heh... anything to spend time with me? You're sweet, Vix, treating me so nicely! Anything I want to know, huh?" A mischievous look crossed his face, as he leaned across the table, cocking an eyebrow. "Okay then, tell me this: what size boxers you wear?" He hadn't gotten the chance to see Vix squirm yet, and he hoped this didn't ruin the date for him. He just wanted to see the fox look a little uncomfortable, even if he ended up getting something equally embarrassing asked of himself. It'd be worth it!

The toting gunslinger spun his revolver on his finger as he rested against Malorn's door, a single cigarette hanging out of his mouth, unlit as to abide by the hotel's rules. He'd light it when he left, but for now, he'd simply let it rest against his lips, teeth, and tongue, its shape already sending relief throughout him, though the taste wasn't there, so he still felt a bit on edge. He'd talked with Malorn every now-and-again, but had never really gotten to know the guy. He seemed cool enough- a bit apathetic for his tastes, but respectable- and his power was indisputable. It was always his motto to surround himself with equals, but Malorn was leagues above him. Even still, there was something about his resonating dark power that sent a wave of goosebumps down Heidt's arms, and a tingle down his back. He reveled in it, revering the Grand Demon. He'd give a lot- even large sums of money- to have that kind of power. With that, he could threaten the whole world, and more importantly, get any and all riches it might hold!

"Kehehe! Now that's a good use of power if I've heard of one." He whispered this to himself, his laughter muffled by his fist. Clearing his throat, he pounded the butt of his revolver, Aurum, against the sturdy wooden door that led to Malorn's apartment. Mimicking their landlord's voice, he cried out his almost daily command to Malorn. "Oi! Open up Demon! You skipped out on 'yer money last week! Let me in and let me get my money!" He could barely contain his laughter. This was his best attempt yet! He almost sounded exactly like him! Of course, his outlaw-ish clothes didn't match the man's usual, but he was comfortable in the get-up, so he'd live with it.

Mykky

Mykky was surprised- not so much by his presence, but by his demeanor- and could feel herself heat up, his flattery making her turn a darker shade of lavender, though her eyes flashed angrily. "Just who do you think you're calling 'your beauty', huh? I don't belong to anybody, bub!" Though it was a kind gesture of him to hand her a rose, when she held it, unlike other plants she'd held, she couldn't feel any thoughts coming from the rose. All she felt was a demonic wave of mal-intent, and those waves sent chills down her spine.

"Well, you better go look elsewhere, Kitsune." She humphed, turning her back on the kitsune, flicking her hair. "I've barely been here a few hours- I couldn't tell you where in the city to go. And stop calling me beautiful! I d-don't even know you!" She growled, stomping her foot, refusing to look at the kitsune. This tantrum lasted all of a minute, as she began to think about his face again, realizing just then that he looked familiar. Barely turning her head an eighth of a degrees, she tried to get a look at him. Yeah... he definitely looked familiar.

"...Hey, you nine-tailed-nuisance, do I know you? You look familiar."
vix

“well I like to think I’m the slyest fox ever, but then again that’s just my opinion” he spoke with a mischievous grin. When he heard melchio speak about a second date he was feeling ecstatic. Looks like he making a good impression after all he thought. He loved how easily they got along, melchio was such a happy, positive person. That was something that would instantly attract a trickster fox, plus it seems that from what malchio’s father has told him, they had a lot more income then one would think. he had a big smile when melchio laughed at his comments, and then grew a smirk when he told him to loosen up. he wants me to loosen up so be it, I just hope he is ready. That was when he asked the question about boxer size with a mischievous look. He turned red for a minute both from the question and from how cute melchio looked with mischievous all over his face. he regained his composure and was ready to turn the tide in his favor, after all no one can out do him when it comes to getting under people’s skin.

“well the size boxers I wear are median in size, the style I tend to go for is form fitting and tight. Then again I could also be lying, so I guess the only way for you to actually know is to check for yourself” he said with smirk and a wink. The food came and he thank the waiter and gave him a folded note card to give to the owner of the restaurant. He looks back at melchio “Now tell me sleeping beauty, out of all the question in the world, why is it that the thing that you were most curious about me was what I wear when I have no clothes on. Don’t tell you only interested in my body and my looks, because I’m much more then that but my body is your if u desire.” he gave a very loud laugh and then raised his eyebrow and leaned in toward melchio waiting for his answer. The more he spends time with this guy the more he likes him, it very strange for him to be charmed so easily but this guy just has something about him

ikari

ikari observed her very closely and realize that anger was just one of the ways she dealt with flattery. He also could tell from the way her skin changed color that he was in fact getting to her so he smiles bright showing he prefect teeth. He listens to her yell out him with a small smile of his face and said “I’m so sorry Miss, I didn’t mean to offend. I was commenting on how I wish I could call someone as beautiful as you mine. You’re like a wild flower something you want to take but also didn’t want to disturb because of how beautiful it makes the surroundings.” When she was looking at his rose he could tell that she felt something was off, that put him a little on edge.

She then asks if she knew him and that put him in defensive mode. He is a criminal and wanted murder in most places in the world, having someone recognize him wasn’t a good thing. He then realized anyone that would know him is either dead or would be too scared to approach him so he eased up and smile. “I don’t think we ever meet. I would remember such a lovely, and beautiful girl.” He then got close to her and look her in the eyes. “I mean how could I not remember such a gorgeous face.” he then started to think why this girl would think she knew him, maybe she knows his brother he thought, he backed up and figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. “You might be confusing me with someone else. From what I heard I might have a brother in this city, by chance do u know him?”

The sphere turned to dust and the humming stopped.

Crimson watched as Hitsu used an incinerating breathe to destroy the sphere. As Hitsu felted to his knees Crimson recovered from his agonizing state and ran over to Hitsu helping him up. You alright buddy?? He asked as he threw Hitsugya's arm around his neck. I gotcha @Veyd Sahvoz

Cx))
Nyr found herself giggling a bit at how dumbfounded he seemed before she smoothed down the skirt a little bit. She had plenty more to try on, of course, but she figured she'd spare him the embarrassment.

"I've found what I want, we can go." She smiled and handed him his trench coat before gathering up the rest of the clothes she'd picked out. She'd tossed the torn rags of her former clothing in the trash can, but not before she made sure she had her necklace and her pouch. When everything was back in it's rightful place, she headed over to the check out. All in all, she had found five new shirts, three new skirts, and even a pair of sneakers she thought were cute. She still needed to find some undergarments eventually, but she didn't think that that whole conversation would go over so well with her newly found companion. Once she was in line, she turned to face him.

"Thank you, by the way. I know you didn't have to show me any kindness, and I know you probably would have preferred to kill me before you took me shopping, but you didn't. What you did for Aquios, and what you did for me...maybe there's hope for you after all." She gives him a little smile and giggles a bit before setting her stuff on the counter and ripping the tags off the clothes she was wearing to hand them to the lady. All in all, the total came to about $185, and Nyr looked at Falcon expectantly.

She wasn't about to admit it, but she almost preferred Falcon's company to anyone elses right now. There was something about him that drew her attention to him and that's where it mostly stayed. The main she had, she supposed, was why he was being so kind to her. She wasn't about to ask that question, but she figured it'd kind of remain there. After a few moments, she slipped her free hand into Falcon's, not looking up at him as she did so. The tips of her ears and her cheeks were turning a light shade of pink, after all.

Falin watched the two in silence as Heidt asked if they had any plans or knew of any jobs he could take. It seemed guilds were a thing here. At least that meant she wasn't completely clueless about this world. Right? Probably not, but it was a hope. Her eyes caught a glimpse of the show Heidt had changed the channel to and the Bosmer soon found herself distracted. The animals the documentary was focused on didn't exist back home, though she wondered if she could still call on a spectral version of them. After all it wasn't like hawks big enough to carry her really existed either.

Hearing Malorn say her name snapped her out of her slight daze. "Hm, what?" She looked over at the demon. "It's not as though I know much about this place... I'll admit spending the day rifling through old books probably won't do that much good anyway."
