Fantasy Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting)

(fuck it time for me to start posting again, anyone I need to reply to retag me in what I gotta respond to otherwise imma use my characters I know are unoccupied for sure!)

Mizuki Gensai Finishing cleaning the bar she nodded to the employees and left, her ears twitching in frustration. "How dare they doubt me when I say Kaz is fine... after all I kicked Vix's ass in a 3 against 1 at only 20% power... I'll search for Kaz when I see fit. Besides he can't have gotten into too much trouble." Grumbling under her voice she stormed back to the dorms and started practicing her skills. "Doubt me once, shame on you... doubt me twice, shame on you again... doubt me three times, you're stupid."

(Have to move on with Tumiji since she hasn't responded in many days... oh well)

Tumiji Kukuchi Wandering around the city Tumiji climbed one of the buildings with surprising speed and looked around sitting on the edge as if he was in Rivendale again. "I wonder what awaits me in this city of Faereach... one way to find out right? Adventure it is." Getting up Tumiji decided on a direction and sprinted across the roofs at alarming speed keeping low to the surfaces and gliding across gaps. "This should be a fun experience..."

The stone guardians almost noticed Zedd growling if Crimson didn't stop him. They looked towards Crimson and Hitsugya not really noticing them. So the continue the regular patrol patterns.

Crimson looked towards Hitsugya. Let's get this over with. Are you trying to be sneaky or do you just wanna go in there guns blazing. @Veyd Sahvoz

"Haha, yeah give me all the work." Varkov said jokingly. He dropped down the building and floated a few inches above the ground waiting for Elsabeth. (Will post lengthier when I got more time)

Ferra and Torr

Ferra simply sighed and continued to eat her dragon leg while staring blankly at Rex as he produced an onslaught of questions, Torr more or less did the same as best one could with only one eye visible. She arched a brow as he moved his hand almost into the fire and his skin melted an reformed like some kinda sludge, though it wasn't enough to illicit she stopped eating her meal, it was indeed interesting. Again, when he asked for a light she simply slowly moved her hand over to him and formed a small ball of fire in her hand, effectively lighting it. She didn't answer him yet, oh no her food was much more important currently.

Eventually she finished eating roughly over half of it and tossed the remainder into the fire, no one wants to buy a half eaten dragon leg anyway. Letting out a satisfied sigh she stood up and walked over to the dragon, hopping on top of it. It was time to make a hilariously big dragonskin bag to transport the scales and meat. While she worked, then she decided to answer his questions. "Yeah. It's on Earth. Not exactly a paradise though, just a hub for supernatural creatures. They exsist all over though. So yeah, there are other lands like this. And yes, you can leave it. Me and Torr only arrived a few days ago ourselves, so we haven't really been around here long. And of course it makes sense, you apparently have amnesia so maybe you just forgot." She explained. "I promise it's not that abnormal at all, really." She added.

Eventually, she made two large bags out of the hide of the dragon, and in that time the rain stopped. "
The one damn time you need rain, and it stops raining. Nice." She muttered to herself. Regardless she began filling the bags with scales and meat, she'd sell some of both of them, but mostly keep the meat to have for later. Deciding to be kind she made two smaller bags for Rex, one for scales and one for meat, and tossed them to him. "There ya go. Put the stuff in 'em." She told him, hopping off of the corpse of the dragon with two sacks full of scales and meat.

She was glad she'd finally actually have a good deal of money and wouldn't have to worry, maybe she could even rent a place for them to stay! "
Anymore questions Rex?" She asked him.
Rex placed the cig in his mouth, catching the two bags with his free hand and tucking them away in his trench coat for now. "Took yuh long enough" he muttered, beginning to carve off some of the scales with his own knife. "I'll just take what I can carry, there should be plenty anyways..." He trailed off, a vague memory of falling somehow crossing his mind. "Now, the city with the weird name, I'm assuming you can fly me down there, right?" He grew a tad uncomfortable, not really liking the idea of needing anybodies help.

"To hell with it" Muttured Hitsugya, jumping into the air and spinning. He then dropped himself back down smashed the back of his heel, and leg, onto the head of a stone guardian.

@Embaga Elder

Crimson grinned evilly after he heard Hitsugya's comment. He followed his pal into the air and they both came down at the same time. Hitsugya with a Spinning Heel kick and Crimson with an energized punch to a guardians face.

"Well excuse me for taking time to actually make you some bags too." Ferra retorted, sighing. Try to help a guy, get told off for taking too long.. Nice. She thought. "Knock yourself out bud." She told him, taking the now charred dragon leg out of the fire and resuming nibbling on it. "I could do that. Or. We can enter that big ass portal over there." She told him, pointing towards the exit portal from where they entered. "Cause, ya kno'. I can't carry both of you down. Of course I could toss you down." She added.

"A Portal?!" Rex's jaw nearly dropped. "There's a Portal to the city, and you never mentioned it until now?!" He clenched his teeth, taking shorter quicker puffs. "So that's your game? Throwing me for a loop when you could have told me first earlier?" He flicked the butt of the cig into the the fire, then chuckled quietly "Be glad You're not the one being tossed" He glanced at the dark forest, feeling like a character in a story book, campin' out with a girl vampire and a monster. Rex smiled humorously at the thought, then fixated stern stare at Ferra "Is there anything else of importance I ought to know?" Already he was beginning to doubt his trust in them, or he was going paranoid.

Falin couldn't help but quirk an eyebrow at Heidt's behaviors as he strode through the apartment. However, the moment he began thinking she and Malorn were together the Bosmer let out a quiet groan and massaged the bridge of her nose. Not that it didn't look like that given the current situation. She could tell even Dereth was rolling his eyes at the man. Despite the initial assumptions, she still reached up and shook his hand. "Falin," she responded, watching the man sit down.

So both he and Malorn had been sensing something strange brewing in the city... Though it seemed neither could really pinpoint the cause. Heidt suggested it could have been angels. Wouldn't make it the first time she had to face an angel gone rogue. After all she was forced to put an archangel down after he began showing his ill intentions. "Angels do sometimes lose their way from what I've seen," the Immortal mentioned, trying to piece this all together. "Though it could be something far more powerful..."

"D'aww! Marriage always ruins peeps's fun! Y'know how it is- at one time you and your best pal're chillin' havin' a good time- next thing you know he's been married for twenty years and has a lil' one runnin' around!" He grinned at his analogy, knowing full well that it was extremely stupid and barely related, but still loving it nonetheless. People often said he was full of himself. He was beginning to understand why. Though his smile faded just a bit, his mischievous humor persisted, even when speaking of that odd feeling he'd had for the past month now.

"Yeah, I know whatcha mean. I'm not the most magically inclined guy in the world, but even I can sense de-mons. Also, Malorn, about your sarcasm." He shot him another grin and a wink. "It's palpable. If you were planning on being subtle, you failed. Hard." Clearing his throat as he tossed himself on the couch next to Falin- though careful to keep a little space between them as to not anger the husband, who he could sense was somewhere nearby, but was-for one reason or another- invisible to his naked eye.

"Ahhh...~ Now this is one hell of a couch! Anyways, back on track." He glanced over at the two sitting next to him, his face a bit smushed, and still slightly mischievous, but his sincerity was clear enough. "I can't track evil, you know that Malorn. The only reason I've been able to meet up with you like this so often is because you radiate, like, a huuuuge amount of demonic power. However, this... evil... I dunno, it's hard to explain." Sitting up, he grabbed the remote, and flicked the TV to a channel a little more engrossing than scenes of the outside world- a short documentary about the hunting of the White Rhinos, to the point where they were practically extinct. Yeah, that was boring enough to serve as background noise. "It... doesn't feel completely, fully demonic. All I can tell is-" He glanced at the sky, before drawing his gun faster than the human eye could see, and pointing it at the sky. "-it's coming from up there. Weird, huh. Think the Angels are doin' some dark magic or sometin'? Heh, maybe my grandfather's trying to become a Daemon, or something! Hah!" Giggling to himself, he spun Argyrus on his hand casually, before slipping it away. "But, eh, that's all I got. Enough depressing shit though, whaddya have planned for today? Wanton destruction? Or, something a little less exciting, like... bills." He visibly shivered at the thought. Taxes, bills, all of those prospects scared Heidt like the heebie-jeebies.

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn simply stared as Heidt spoke. An interesting theory and one he hadn't thought of, yet. It was quite possible an angel was the cause of it, fallen angels and angels practicing dark arts were rare but not un-heard of acts. But it'd have to be fairly powerful to summon someone from another realm or to be sensed by people on such a mass scale. That's mostly what intrigued Malorn so, if such a powerful entity exsisted within a realm he had access to, he was determined to defeat it solely so his power didn't start dwindling. And of course to prove he wasn't a Grand Demon for no reason.

Though, if the entity was this powerful it might actually prove a challenge for once. It reminded him of when he defeated Cerberus and bound him to himself. Ah, so long ago yet it seemed so close.. Snapping out of his thoughts he shook his head, now wasn't the time for reminiscing. "That is one possibility I haven't thought of. Though, it'd have to be a powerful angel to cause this much of a disturbance.." He spoke. "And as for plans, I had asked Falin what she wanted to do right before you arrived. Other than that..I have none."

Ferra and Torr

"You..never asked. You assumed I flew and me up here? I can barely wrap my arms around one of his arms, I wouldn't be able to grip him at all." She explained. "Excuse me for wanting to make friends, jerk. And I can fly, tossing me off the edge won't do much ya kno'." She added, tossing the remains of the dragon leg back onto the fire and crossing her arms in a huff. "Now that I think about it, there is. You can learn manners and how to be nice." She told him before standing and walking over to Torr. "C'mon Torr we can let this ass find his own way out, we'll tell Hordoc or whatever he said his name was to close the portal when we get back." She told him, hooking the bags of scale and meat to the hooks on his back. "Have fun, jerk." She added, glaring at Rex before slowly walking off towards the portal with Torr.

"Well, you are the older one." She said, "by A LOT it looks like.." She added under her breath. Elsabeth dropped down off of the building after Varkov, yawning as she walked over to him. "Can we pleeeease find a place to stay." She said, almost as if she was begging but there was no way to tell as her voice was still lifeless. She sighed, "I can't even transform..I don't have enough energy." She looked at the ground and floated slightly, but not as high as a few minutes ago because she was tired.

Hitsugya dodged a stone guardian with a swinging stone axe and punched it as hard as he could, shattering it to bits. When he saw the rest come he charged lightning in his hand and blasted a beam of black lightning right at one if them.

She noted how uncomfortable he was at the prospect of magic, and she frowned just a tad bit. She supposed that everyone had their boundaries, whether she wanted to admit that or not. She honestly didn't want to face her own boundaries- the fact that her power drained away the essence of her being every time she used it, which is why it was always so taxing on the poor thing to do big maneuvers. A thought occurred to her- she still had to inform Melchio about the incident at the park. She figured she'd save it until she saw him the next time. With a glance at Falcon, she wondered if there would be a next time. Brothers. She giggles a bit at her own thought before looking at Falcon again.
"Women aren't allowed to hold positions of power because our main roles include healing and...other things." She muttered the last bit to herself, turning a nice shade of pink to go along with the thought. It only darkened at his next question and she actually stuttered a little bit from the suddenness of the question. Her first reaction, however, was to push a light jab at him.

"And why are you so curious hm?" She giggled nervously before sticking her hands in the pocket of the trench coat. "A suitable husband...well, my version is different than my father's, of course. To me? I think a suitable husband is strong, yet caring about his family. One who can take on the world with one hand tied behind his back as long as his wife is by his side. Someone...someone who I can form a strong connection with, someone who will stop at nothing to protect me and make sure no harm comes to me. A bit cheesy, right? But we can all have our fantasies and dreams. My father's expectations were that I was to marry the son of our rival tribe." At that, she visibly shuddered and paled a bit, her lips pressing into a thin line. It was obvious that the thought disgusted her.

Falcon

"Hmm?" Falcon had heard Nyr's admittedly cute giggle and gave her an inquisitive look. He'd ask what she was laughing at, but as he was about to, she leapt into another explanation of her world's strangeness. He managed to keep a straight face throughout her entire explanation, her tale one he was quite familiar with. Women being treated like meat, and not ones to be eaten... that's what life was like before he was brought back, huh? He never though much of it as a child, and even after being revived, for some time, he was oblivious to why women were just as important as men.

But now? He couldn't respect them more. That's to say, while he harbors so little respect for humans, for what little respect he has to give, he gives the same to women as he does to men. They're just slabs of meat, but to him, they're equally important slabs of meat, and to think that their people, who were so focused on loving the Earth and those from it, could be so ignorant... he supposed that even different worlds had to have something wrong with them. However, he could help but blush as well at her jabs at him. He didn't necessarily feel bad, though. In fact... one could say he-

"Oh. I see. That's a reasonable hope for a husband."

You hear that? That's the sound of what human's call a heart breaking into itty-bitty pieces. Good thing you don't have one of those, right?! Hah!

Falcon scratched his chin with his tail, before coughing into his fist. "Well, we're here." He muttered, gesturing not-so-grandly to the immense building before them- a magnificent and extravagant building that stretched across a reasonably large swath of land- that was more commonly known by the rest of the civilians as the mall. He'd never been here himself, though he'd been in malls before. Generally it was to try (and usually fail) at purchasing some article of food or clothing or other necessity. Of course, now he wasn't here for himself. Taking out a wallet, he quickly counted the money in that single wallet. Roughly five hundred dollars. Of course, he did take this from an old man's dead body, so it wasn't as surprise he carried his cash with him.

"Alrighty then. C'mon Nyr. I don't go to these often- the reason's obvious enough- so let's get this over with." Taking her by the hand as to not lose her, he strolled in, opening the door with his tail, much to a nearby child's surprise. After making his way to the nearest directory, he let go of Nyr's hand, assuming she'd stay nearby. He hoped he could get away with hiding his blush under his hat, but the way his ear was glowing, it was almost like a beacon. He studied the directory for a minute or two, before nodding to himself.

"Right. So, Nyr, there's a women's clothing store down that way about a hundred paces to your right. We could stop by there, and pick you something... up?" He felt a large hand rest on his shoulder. Confused, he turned to face the man who'd done so, only to come face-to-face with one of the largest security guards he'd seen in his life. Well then. "Uh... good afternoon, officer. What can I do for you?" Not bothering to speak, he went on with his inspection, first by grabbing his tail (rather roughly) and looking it over, eyes drawn to what appeared to be dried blood on the razor sharp tip. Then, he used his baton to lift up Falcon's upper lip before he had time to protest so he could inspect. Finding what he wanted, he grunted a nod, and stood back.

"Sir, I'm going to have to give you a pat-down. New mall policy. I'm sure you understand. Turn around please." Falcon narrowed his eyes, but didn't bother trying to argue with him. He'd had plenty of these before. It wasn't as if they were unwarrented- Humasilisks were known killers and more-often-than-not carried weapons on them to get out of scuffles with magical foes. Setting his hands behind his head, and spreading his legs a little farther apart, he stood stock still as the cop ran his knuckles across the problem spots a person might usually hide a weapon, sticking in no spot for more than a second. When he was finished, he grunted, and stood back. "You check out. Have a nice day." With that, he hopped back onto his segway and rode off, leaving Falcon feeling a little less private.

"...That's why I wear the trench coat. So I don't have people like that doing what he just did."

Heidt

"Shame." Heidt grunted, reclining in the couch, his mischievous expression acquiring a quaint, bored tone to it. "And today just had to be the day I run all out of contracts! Any of you know a good way to make some cash? Preferably with having a good time in the job description?" He flicked an eye open, its normal bright blue colour highlighted with gold markings throughout that flashed every now-and-again. "...I sense a disturbance in the Foooorce, Malorn my padawan." With a grin, he sat up, slapping his hands on his thighs. While he couldn't see anything, as his eye might suggest, he could definitely feel a spike in the dark energies he was sensing before- like whatever he was sensing before was trying to make an example of something by using its power.

"Funky... The Force is no longer being disturbed, Malorn my padawan..." Chuckling to himself, the highlights faded, returning his eyes to their natural topaz blue. Relaxing, he leaned back into Malorn's couch. "Now that's what I call one hell of a trip! But, ah, whatever you guys decide to do, I'm sticking with you for it, kay? I'm hella bored, and I won't get anymore Guild issued or Edgewater issued contracts for another day or two and I need a way to entertain myself while I wait. Got it?"

Rex watched her reaction, amused and annoyed at the same time. He was about to reach for another piece of meat when he witnessed them get up to leave, "Perhaps I am.." he said to himself thoughtfully, though he was already at work trying to think of some clever retort to throw at them before they were gone. But then again, he reconsidered it, perhaps it would be best not to make enemies before he understood the place a little better. With that thought in mind, he was about to offer some reply of indifference when he heard her last comment, and that sounded like a legit threat. In a heart beat, Rex's hand grabbed Ferras shoulder firmly. "Now wait a bloody second!" he exclaimed (Pun not intended) "If you're going about to Strand me on this floating Jurrassic Park, that's not gonna happen!" His eyes were dark and unreadable "As long as I get back to the city, I got no qualms about parting ways!"

She wanted to hear what he had to say. Shrugging out of his grip after he finished speaking she turned to him and looked up at him. "Why should I help you? Why shouldn't I just leave you here to find your own way out?" She questioned back. "I killed a dragon, gave you food from it and part of its scales. Then you flip out when I mention a portal as if I were trying to keep you trapped here when you could of easily asked how we got up here. And now you have the nerve to threaten me? Get real bud." She continued.

"
Maybe I was just trying to be nice to you and make a friend until you decided to be a jerk, you ever think of that?" She asked him before looking away from him and at the ground, crossing her arms.

N'thyg 'Kofum Skittering around N'thyg looked around for food and a queen or king to serve. "Food. Queen. Serve." Noticing three people in the Enclave N'thyg skittered toward them and peeked over a small ledge, though with his large wings and claw like appendages on his back he wasn't very concealed. Widening his bright jade green eyes he saw what he was looking for. "FOOD!" Skittering up he sat in front of the girl who was about the size of him despite him being the second smallest creature of his species. "Food. Hungry. N'thyg." Tiliting his head he continued staring at the girl. "Queen?"

(Because I just had to make a zergling be funny)

(That should be interesting)

Rex held back a chuckle, clearing having no idea how close he was to a violent fall. Folding his arms calmly, he narrowed his eyes "If you're waiting for an apology, you can very well go and,,eh,,well, I don't hand them out freely" He smirked slightly "Take a load off! Okay? I ain't here to Hang out and have tea parties, this is about surviving. Not everone has,," He paused and gave his hand a quick glance. Before his hand had been shrugged off, he seemed to feel some sort of energy upon physical contact, like he had almost gained a little bit of energy. Randomly, Rex laughed quietly "This place is just Full of surprises!" he then turned his attention back towards Ferra "Here's how things are going to be: If you try to strand me here, I've got no reason to remain..civil. However, if you help me get out, all animosity will be forgotten. Now before..." Rex stopped talking and stared down at the strange creature, not sure what to make of its random appearance "Whats that? Torrs little brother?"

Ferra and Torr

Ferra simply shook her head as Rex began speaking. "Did the thought ever occur to you all you had to do was ask nicely?" She asked him, shortly before the..thing...ran up and started talking to her. She arched a brow curiously at it, Queen? What..well..maybe it's to do with when I drank Reeds' blood maybe? She thought, looking the thing over. Normally, you'd figure one would run from such a creature. Then again, she also just murdered a dragon and that thing was much smaller than a dragon. "Uhhh. No..I've never seen this thing before. I think it's called N'ythg? It said that..anyway." She told him. "Just..just a second." She added before walking over to Torr and pulling a chunk of dragon meat out of the bag. Walking back over she held it out to the thing, "Here you go little guy. I'm not quite sure why you're calling me your Queen though, but, alright." She told it.

The thing was odd, in a way it reminded her of a fleshy version of Frillz, if only in the way it spoke.

A group is guardians continue to come towards Crimson and Hitsugya. Hitsugya punched and blasted the guardians, while crimson fired his rage energy blast towards them, shattering them. But as soon as the guardians shattered then just resembles themselves.

God damnit their getting back up. He said as he continued punching and blasting the guardians into pieces. It has be to something with this place.

As crimson said that we heard a ominous humming, and green light coming from Within the temple. @Veyd Sahvoz
